Made a super last minute appointment online (like 30 min before i arrived) on Saturday to get 2 lobe piercings. Nurse Sarah did my piercings and she was SO great! Super knowledgeable, gave me detailed aftercare instructions & helped me find the perfect placement for the piercings- she took out the measurement tool to measure the distance between the lobe piercings i already had on my left lobe to make sure the right lobe would match in terms of how far apart each lobe piercing was.I had gotten my left lobe done a year and a half prior at another nearby studio and it was a terrible experience, which is why I waited so long to do the right lobe. The other place pierced my ear really roughly and my ear was immediately swollen and red and I was in so much pain for MONTHS after. Its been a year and a half and the left ear is still not fully healed. But- I had the complete opposite experience at rowan. It was practically painless and my ear has not gotten swollen and red AT ALL like the last time. I barely have any pain and I am following the same exact aftercare instructions so I know the issues with the left ear were not caused by me & were likely caused by the piercer or the jewelry.Will be going to rowan for all ear piercings from now on. Nurse Sarah was so great!

I got my upper lobes pierced with Kaid and it was the quickest , loveliest, and most amazing experience. Everyone was so helpful and kind. The experience was better than I could have imagined!

Let me start off by saying that I had my first visit a few days back and that experience was fantastic but my second experience was even better. I met up with two nurses this time around and was able to sit down and really find the perfect angle for my piercing, and we just went through a whole team effort to find the perfect spot for my piercing and it was just fantastic, I will be returning to this particular spot on Bedford since I live a block away its perfect for me. I love the jewelry the staff there is amazing and great and friendly and just overall the environment is very fun. I would totally recommend friends families to pay a visit to the Spot if you’re interested in getting your first piercing this is definitely the place to go to. Thank you again!! See you soon xoxo

I took both my 6 year old and my 8 year old for their first lobe piercings this week and had the must phenomenal experience with both Kaide and Steven. Everything is so clean and calm, and both nurses were patient with my children. I highly recommend Rowan!!

I got 2 cartilage piercings here with Madison and Tori. They were AMAZING! The place is so clean, they are so knowledgeable and the fact that they are RNs makes me feel so comfortable and safe. Best experience ever! Got 2 piercings on 6/23, a long waited 30 years to get these. Was scared and Nurse Ayanna was literally a magical angel fairy! She made me feel comfortable and safe. She has magic hands and I barely felt a thing. More importantly she took her time, made me laugh and treated me like we were long time friends. I recommend to everyone! Told all my friends by already. Also the girl at the front desk was so sweet and informative! Best experience ever!

I found Rowan online and fell in love with their stylish and polished website. It looked like a clean and easily accessible place to take my younger sister (14). I was reassured when walking in! I took her to get her ears pierced and the employees were incredibly kind and patient, with both the piercing service and purchasing my own jewelry.

The nurse was very patient with my daughter who cried from start to finish. I like that the nurse ensured the spots for the earrings were even. The fact that a licensed medical professional performed the procedure gave me ease. The aftercare spray is great and my daughter’s piercings are healing well.

I was very anxious about getting my baby’s ears pierced, as I am a first time mom. I had delayed it a lot but I suppose that’s expected. My baby is days shy away from being 5 months. I found Rowan on social media and liked that it was nurses doing this. That made me feel a little safer. I was lucky to have Nurse Ayanna assist us. She was very patient with me being nervous. She was very sweet with my baby girl and made me feel comfortable right away. My baby barely even cried from how gentle she was with her. I am extremely happy that I chose to come here to get this done ! Would highly recommend Rowan to any mom lol !

Jen and Tory were amazing. Jen literally walked me around the entire store to help me find the perfect earring set. She helped me mix and match and ultimately helped me choose a pair of earrings that were super edgy, classy, and timeless.Tory helped me replace one of my earrings and she was super gentle and gave me really great tips on how to keep my earrings clean along with more information about the earrings in general (for example, if I could shower with them or not, which I can😍). All in all really great experience and so happy that I left with an amazing set 😁.

Got my daughters ears pierced at Rowan Williamsburg and it was such a great experience. We had time to look through the earrings, choose our favorite then figure out placement. Once we were happy, the piercing was done in seconds. Staff is so friendly and patient and explain how to care for new piercings. My sister who came with us thought the experience was so quick and easy that she got her ears pierced on the spot as well. The place was clean and well kept which I thought was important. Ill definitely go back for future piercings. Any pain went away within a few minutes and redness disappeared after a few hours on my 7 month old.

I wasnt going to write a review but after ANOTHER infection I changed my mind. I was there in April with a friend who wanted to get her tragus pierced. I was just getting a gun lobe piercing (my 3rd hole, nothing crazy). Waited 45 mins even with an appointment.Both of my ear piercings have been infected several times and this has NEVER happened to me before. Ive followed their aftercare instructions perfectly, and as I mentioned above this was just a lobe piercing with the gun. Very unhappy and unimpressed. On top of that their prices are INSANE. I paid $200 for a gun/lobe piercing?!?! Plus tip. They charge extra for the aftercare spray. Save your time and money, go to the mall or tattoo shop. Youll 100% be happier.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!! Go to Iris Studio right around the corner. I commuted from Coney Island to Williamsburg by public transportation on my day off because I read all the amazing reviews on this place. But I walked into a HUGE disappointment. I got there shortly after they opened today. There was just one staff member there. I told her that I wanted to change out my nose ring jewelry. She told me that they dont do nose piercings. Mind you I pointed to my already pierced nose. I explained again and she repeated that they dont do noses and doesnt have anything for the nose. Then recommended a tattoo shop near by. So she was willing to send business elsewhere. I was also looking to do a helix piercing but she made me not want to stay to do any business with them because I have a few piercings and know the same jewelry used for lobe and helix piercing are the same for the nose. So if she just didnt know how to change my nose piercing is one thing but dont say you guys dont that at a place that only do piercings. So I took my business 3 mins around the corner to IRIS STUDIO where all the staff was friendly, answered all my questions with a smile and I walked out with my new nose jewelry and my helix piercing. Go to Iris Studio and ask for Kaylen. They have a better selection of jewelry.

It was my first time at Rowan and my friend brought me. I was looking for a gift for a friend… not only I’ve found a beautiful pair of earrings for her , but the selection was so appealing that I ended up buying a pair for myself and my little daughter too… the staff was so helpful, nice and attentive that I ‘ll definitely come back for more shopping and for another piercing in my ear.

From my 8 year old that got the piercing- it only hurt for a second. The people are really nice. They answered all my questions. The nurse Maddy was very sweet and helpful.

The team working here is absolutely first class for service and care. I went in with a concern over a bump on a months old piercing and the team immediately helped me, diagnosing the problem, getting me the right earrings and giving me a plan for treatment. They even stayed back an extra 15 minutes past closing to make sure I got seen and the nurse put my earrings in for me too. I’ve been in before right after my piercing (which was at this studio) and received the same level of excellent care and support. Highly highly recommend coming here for a piercing because you know you’re going to be cared for before, during and after your piercing by such a wonderful group of people!

After a difficult healing process from my first helix piercing about a year ago (from another studio), the team at Rowan was a breath of fresh air. They are knowledgeable and kind, and place cleanliness and expertise above all else. Cannot recommend them enough.

Was a walk in at the Williamsburg, BK store. Clean location. Good amount of jewelry choices to choose from. Easy to make an appointment in store (had to it was beyond packed when I went in) and the receptionist was really nice and welcoming. Piercer/Nurse took his time to go over my jewelry change and piercing and made sure to get the best fit (posts and jewelry) for what I wanted. Will go again.

I don’t normally do reviews - but don’t go here!! They mis-pierced my ears & the placement was completely off. I just went back to get the posts shortened on the earrings they’d used for the piercings (which they noted was complimentary), and was told it would be $25 per piercing. Just a super poor experience overall!

I have now had 5 ear piercings at Rowan (3 lobes, conch, and forward helix) and I couldn’t be more pleased. Everything was very clean, the nurses do a great job educating about aftercare and explaining the piercing process. On top of that the jewelry is super cute (none of those ugly metal ball/bar jewelry that tattoo places use) and all of it is hypo-allergenic. Shout out to nurses Tori, Samantha, Tatiana and Ayana, the consistently great piercing experience always keeps me coming back.

We had a really nice experience at Rowan, getting piercings for my wife and 7 year old daughter. Tori, our nurse, was super thorough and thoughtful and walked us through the aftercare process in detail.

My piercer was so nice and explained all my options the piercing was pretty much painless and I was thoroughly instructed on how to care for my piercing overall the experience is great and super fun

My infant got her ears pierced. The nurse was so knowledgeable, patient, and caring. The selection of earrings were also of good quality and pricing. The staff was so friendly.

This wasn’t a good experience. Was excited to get pieced by nurses but it did not live up to my hopes.Transparency (lack of) & pricing:First issue is no one explained anything to us (my friend and I were both getting pierced) and the pricing isn’t clear and isn’t fair. It’s broken down a ton: $35 per piercing (ie if both lobes pierced thats $70) this doesn’t include the earrings so that’s an additional $59-250 per hole. After getting pierced they told us we had to come back in 30 days to have the post changed and that’s $25 more per hole so another $50 each…. We told her no one explained that to us and she said “oh they should’ve told you when you came in and they explained everything” but no one explained literally anything to us. They just told us to sit down and asked which earrings we wanted. And then they rang us up and I realized the aftercare she said she was including was $40… so that’s nuts. Overall it was $280 for two piercings, that’s like 4x what a certified piercing in Williamsburg charges (which is already high for the industry.) Basically it felt like when you order grub hub or buy a car and there are a billion add ons and sur charges. These are my 12th and 13th piercings and I have never paid that much before.Cleanliness (lack of):Additionally one of the holes is now infected and I’ve never had that happen before. My suspicion is it’s because when she went to hold the earring up to check the placement before the piercing it fell and I don’t think she cleaned it before later inserting it into the hole, I didn’t think about it until the hole got infected. So overall I recommend going elsewhere unless you want to overspend on a subpar experience. I wish I read the lower reviews before coming :(

After 13 months of my cartilage piercing not healing (I’ve been doing the whole aftercare thing too) and 5 professional piercers telling me that this was the worst piecing job they’ve seen done, I finally had to take the stud out. Really upset. I think Rowan is fine for lobe piercings but I would go to a proper place for cartilage.

Had me waiting here for 45 minutes after making an appointment TO TELL ME THEY DONT HAVE ANYONE TRAINED TO DO THE PIERCING??? Horrible. Unprofessional.

Best place to get ears pierced. All parts of the ear! All done by licensed nurses. And all the jewelry in the studio is hypoallergenic. Plus, the experience is amazing! Great customer service. Its definitely the place to go.

Front desk woman was nice, however the lady who actually did my piercing (she didn’t tell me her name) spent 40 mins just chatting to the clients before me, then when it was my turn, she barely gave me the time of day. She didn’t give me all the care instructions and spent less than 5 mins on my piercing. She was also really passive aggressive when I didn’t realize the procedure ended, but she also didn’t tell me it ended? It was just kind of rude and left a bad taste in my mouth, especially after seeing she was so nice to the people before me. I also thinking the pricing structure is a bit predatory ($35 for each piercing, even if you’re just getting both your lobes pierced; tip percentage was based on the cost of the earrings AND the piercing). It’s a really cool concept, just disappointed in the execution.Update: they commented that they emailed, but they never emailed.

Ten was great, will be back for more piercings :)

Walked in to get my daughter’s ear pierced since she accidentally knocked out one of earring and her consequently her piercing closed. It was difficult to identify who worked here since NO ONE greeted us at the door. We stood by the counter for 5 minutes before I interrupted a man entertaining a group of women. He said he worked here but never position a wait time or any instructions after I stated the reason for my visit. Instead he took his time as I waited with my husband and daughter. Waited till those ladies left and he immediately started taking care of a woman that just entered the store. We grab our child who was growing restless and left. He didn’t acknowledge our presence AT ALL. I felt discriminated against and won’t be supporting this business in the future. Tuesday, May 31, 6:20Update: I was contacted by customer service and an RN named Samantha who invited us back to remedy the situation. She was very attentive and friendly with both my toddler and pre-teen. We had a pleasant experience the second time around.

Had such a good experience in the Williamsburg Rowan. Carli took her time and explained everything. Helped my aunt and I find the perfect earring and spot for our new piercings !

Madison saved my life! I had my earring tear out and she helped me instantly and popped it back in complimentary. Literally a holiday miracle.

Cute and clean. But even with appointments, my both visits there I had to wait +30 minutes. They have Jewelry for every vibe, but usually the more traditional styles are always out of stock.

They are new…but my experience was so bad it’s not excusable. I called a day before asking about making an appointment for my friend and I. We had evening plans so I wanted to make sure we had enough time for our piercings and was told over the phone that we’d both be done in 20 min. Made a 3pm apt and showed up on time. Was immediately told that one of the piercers had to go on break. How is this my problem? Book appointments around the schedules of your employees. Wasn’t told how long we’d have to wait but it ended up being 45 min and the whole process for the two of us took at least an hour when we got started. At no point did the front desk person apologize or offer to walk us through the process while we waited. It honesty was a mess. Wasn’t told this place is limited to lobe piercings only. When we finally got in the chair the piercer was great and thorough. Went to check out and the girl rang each of us up and missed some of our earrings we purchased. I was so furious I didn’t say anything. Again not my problem. What made me the most angry is that the iPad asked if I wanted to leave a tip and I didn’t realize until after the fact that I left a tip on my whole purchase, not just the piercing price. SCAMMED!! take your business elsewhere until they get their act together.

When you are getting a body modification that lasts, make sure you get it done from pros who know their stuff. Rowan is an excellent shop with very knowledgeable staff. Megan was super nice and really did a great job. Couldnt be happier.
