Tim is great. Just did my 2nd session, I already saw results after the first session. It’s honestly way less painful than I thought it would be, hurts less than laser hair removal. It’s so quick, I’m in and out in 10 mins getting 4 tattoos treated. Also his prices and reviews are the best I’ve found through all my nyc research. Call ahead for your first appointment. When you go in for your consultation you can also have your first treatment right away. Also there is zero judgement or discussion of the tattoo that is desired to be removed, no awkward questions. Very professional. And the new shop location in bushwick is great! Highly recommend!

If I could give Gotham 10 stars I would! Tim, the owner, is amazing. His whole operation is super professional, clean, comfortable - all the i’s dotted and t’s crossed. He answered every question I had. I never felt any pressure whatsoever. I’ve been wanting to get three tattoos removed for years but I just didn’t know for sure where to go - the big corporations just didn’t feel right to me. I am so happy I found this business. I have been searching for a tattoo removal spot that wasn’t a corporation with sales people trying to push expensive packages on me. I called for my consultation and Tim was fantastic; he went over everything. I booked immediately. The whole process was easy and not painful. Tim called me the next day to check on me. I thought that was very comforting and showed me that he loves what he does and cares for his clients. It has only been one session and I have my next one planned and I am looking forward to seeing my tattoo’s disappear. FYI it’s been 2 days I already notice a difference. Thank you Tim.

I’ve been to a few places for tattoo removal but nowhere compares to Gotham. I’ve been going to Tim for about 2 years and he is a wizard with a laser. My tattoos are disappearing before my eyes and the results are way faster than they have been at other companies. Tim makes you feel relaxed and safe and you can tell he really cares. Was super nervous about the whole thing cuz I’ve never gotten tattoos removed and Tim was super chill about, thorough in his explanation, great energy and sense of humor- and DEFINITELY knows what the hell he’s doing when it comes to removing tattoos! I just had my first laser tattoo removal with Tim and he is extremely knowledgeable and honest. I’ve had about 16-17 laser tattoo removal sessions with another technician which led to hypopigmentation and the tattoo still wasn’t complete after all those sessions. Tim zapped that one and I’m already seeing a change in the ink after a couple of days plus he worked on removing two other tattoos and although it was painful (only during the quick session and not afterwards) due to the areas where they are located ( rib and arch of foot), it was definitely tolerable. I had gone to another technician ( before finding Tim) for the rib tattoo and she numbed the area and zapped it and it was so painful ( during the session and for about two weeks after) that I was thinking of just covering up the tattoo as I never wanted to deal with that pain again however, after chatting with Tim for the consultation, I knew I would be in good hands. This is by far the best place I’ve gone to for tattoo removal. There is also minimal after care unlike other places. I can’t wait to continue sessions with Tim until the tattoos are completely removed ( btw- I’d seen someone else’s removal from Tim after 3 sessions and it was lightened so much without any type of scarring whatsoever, which is what made me book an appt.). Tim is super knowledgeable in what he does, not only does he walk you through the removal process and what to expect before you actually start, but he also makes sure to answer all your questions and keep you comfortable during the session. He made the process super quick and easy and even provided a cute little ice pack at the end. The studio is very clean and aesthetically pleasing as well. If you’re wondering if you should get your tattoo removed here, just do it. This is the your sign to go and do it.

I have gone to a few tattoo removal shops over the course of removing multiple tattoos and after finding Gotham I would never go anywhere else. The majority of tattoo removal shops these days seem to be owned by large umbrella companies with one size fits all packages aimed to seemingly to get as much money as possible out of each customer. Tim at Gotham offers personal attention and has been accommodating to my changing schedule in ways larger shops would not have been able to. To my understanding each tattoo on each person will remove differently so for me I would highly recommend Tim at Gotham where it feels you are working with an actual person who cares about your removal

Tim is truly the best to ever do tattoo removal! I am on my 6th session with him and my dark and inky tattoos have nearly disappeared, despite others telling me it would take much longer. My skin heals perfectly every time and I’ve never had an issue. I used to be nervous thinking my skin would never look the same again after but it looks just the way it did before my tattoos. I’ve been lasered by Tim three times so far, and he makes the experience as pleasant as it can be. I’ve also gotten lasered by numerous artists before Tim, and Tim’s sessions are the best by far.
