Clean modern facility and the staff is wonderful! I’ve had multiple techs work with me and they’ve all been professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The Removery has turned a typically painful experience into a safe, easy and comfortable process. So happy with my results and couldn’t thank them enough!

What a wonderful experience! The team was SO awesome and welcoming as soon as I walked in for my first appointment. They explained all the details and answered any questions I had, really made me feel at ease about the whole process. The technician Robert was really kind and thoughtful about checking in during the removal process as well. The treatment itself was very quick and the team were checking in and encouraging during which helped a lot. The space is very clean and peaceful as well. 10/10, glad to say i *will* be going back for more treatments :)

Amazing experience. I came in late and they were still able to accommodate me. I was in and out in 30 minutes with a consultation included and tattoo removed. Sunji did a quick and great job and the receptionist Wendy who did my consultation was kind and made the whole entire experience comfortable and straight forward.

I am so grateful for Sungi and the team at Removery! I went in nearly two years ago with a red tattoo and was warned of how hard it is to remove red ink. I expected complications and hyperpigmentation, and instead I got a fully removed tattoo. I felt supported along the way and had all my questions answered, Sungi made sure to explain what he was doing every session and worked to target the tattoo ink, as well as hyper- and hypopigmentation. The staff at this place is excellent and the service is awesome. I have no complaints about them at all.My review is for Removerys rescheduling process. You have to call a 1-800 number which takes you to an automated rescheduler that gives your random availability, none of which work for me (all middle of the weekday when I am working), and there is no option to speak to a human. There is no option to cancel an appointment either. Its bad enough they dont have an online rescheduling solution, but removing the option to speak to someone makes it completely impossible to rebook. I have twice had to go in-person to reschedule because of this and it is infuriating.

Honestly, it hurts. However, it’s quick. My appointments have both been less than 10 min. Staff is great, well trained and informed, plus easy to talk to.

The Removery folks at 527 Atlantic Ave in BKlyn NY were fantastic from beginning to end. In 2023 I wanted a mid sized tribal tattoo lightened and purchased 3 sessions up front to make that happen. I figured I’d assess what my tattoo looked like afterwards and determine my next steps. Sungi, my technician was exceptional. He was up front and thorough in what I should expect with each session. Even though the pain was an intense experience, I wound up getting 2 more sessions after the initial 3 were done. With my last session behind me I’m extremely satisfied with the outcome. Overall, I would definitely refer others to this location. My experience as a whole was great. The staff at this location was warm, friendly and professional and explained every step in the process.

Friendly, professional, informative staff. i have a hand-sized tattoo and sessions are quick and easy. my tat was dark and only a year old upon start of removal, so it’s taking a long time to remove, but i started seeing significant fading after nine months. you can also add onto your removal package if you want other tats removed. great service. thank you!

Not sure why I procrastinated getting my tattoo removed for so long but Im thrilled that I finally did it. Removery was perfect for the job. Customer service was excellent, I was able to check in and complete the consultation as scheduled, where the process was thoroughly explained. I was then able to move forward with the process the same day after a spot check. Everyone was amazing 😊 I really appreciated the warm welcoming atmosphere. 10 outta 10 🏆

Upon visiting Removery I was extremely nervous about the process. However, the staff members were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They encourage you to ask a lot of questions and they provide guidance tailored to your condition and needs. Being a darker skin woman who is prone to hyperpigmentation, one of my biggest concerns was scarring and aftercare. My first session was with Robert, he was truly amazing. He understood my needs as a dark tone woman and provided the absolute best care. He guided me on the use of sunscreen, vitamin E and things to avoid to ensure that my treatment would be successful.Fast forward to today 7/12/2024, I am happy to say I have finished my treatments and I am beyond grateful for every member at Removery. I experienced no scarring or discoloration. Sincere thanks to Robert, Wendy and Sunji.

Ive been going to the Removery Atlantic Ave location for over two years now. Im getting a very pigmented back tattoo removed and its made significant progress. From the first consult, the team there was always transparent and friendly. I also appreciated that I could do a payment plan and the services are a flat rate for as many visits as it takes.Ive seen a few different laser specialists over my time there, most recently, Sungi makes the experience comfortable (ice, stress ball, etc.) and remembers to ask about upcoming events like my wedding, which is the reason for my removal. Would definitely recommend!

Sungi did my removal and a lovely blonde woman did my consultation (I’m sorry I dont remember your name!). Both were extremely helpful and professional and the shading I got removed was fully gone in two sessions. It wasn’t painful honestly! I was intimidated to start the process but it all went so fast and easy and now I fully love my tattoo which is priceless.

I’ve been going to various removery locations for over 2 years now, and I’ve always been incredibly impressed by their professionalism and thoroughness. Their machines are top of the line, the technicians are knowledgeable, and they do everything they can to make tattoo removal a comfortable experience. This review is 2 years over due. I have had the most pleasant experience removing my 20 year old tattoo at the Atlantic ave Removery location. The reception staff and the technicians are all wonderful. I’m blanking on the names of the various people I’ve worked with otherwise I’d list them all. Robert stands out especially as a technician. He’s so helpful and takes his time to explain everything and answer all of your questions. The front staff is efficient and accommodating. I’m usually in and out in 15 minutes from the start of my appt. Facilities are clean and conveniently located. Love this place and would highly recommend.

Hardly ever leave reviews, but every time I come in for an appointment (at the Atlantic Ave location) I leave thinking every person working there is so kind, attentive and helpful. Ive had a different person treat me each visit and they are all up to date on my history and lovely. Had some bad experiences in the past feeling shamed for a previous (admittedly bad) tattoo removal treatment and this staff has always made me feel comfortable and taken care of. Great price, effective and solid after-care instructions and goodies.

I’ve gotten laser before but this experience is just beyond my expectations. After a ton of research I was pretty set on coming to Removery. I went to several consultations with other doctors and dermatologists. I found that the prices here were absolutely the fairest (especially for the small size of my tattoo) and I could see the quality of their work on their testimonials. I didn’t give it a second thought to start this process with them and I’m so glad I did. I also really liked that tattoo removal was exclusively their service and not a secondary one like the other places I went to. I was offered a really good package to pay 10 sessions upfront and any sessions I needed after that would be free, which is something I wasn’t offered anywhere else. I’ve been in for, I believe, 6 sessions now and there’s a night and day difference between my tattoo on my first session and now. It’s almost gone and I couldn’t be happier. The staff is absolutely amazing and sweet. They take a lot of care in making sure they’re addressing the tougher details of my tattoo (I have a little bit of red ink that they pay extra attention to), communicating what they’re doing, and making sure I’m not in any discomfort. They’re super knowledgeable and never judgmental which is important when you’re trying to correct potentially embarrassing tattoos. Really excited to see mine disappear soon. I’m removing a small piece, so I can’t speak to large ones, but I’d be confident in them to do a great job. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I’m always in and out for my appointments within minutes. Not one of those places where you show up for your appointment at 3pm and they help you at 4pm. I’m very happy with how efficient they are, and how it’s actually working. It doesn’t hurt as bad as people say it does (at least for me), and Im already seeing amazing progress. I’ve never wanted to be in a situation where I needed to get a tattoo removed, but it is what it is, and I’m thankful there’s at least an option that works for me. I started my tattoo removal journey with removery last year in Minnesota, where they happened to have a location right by my parents house. I have since moved to Brooklyn where they also conveniently have a location! My experiences at both offices have been totally enjoyable. Multiple locations, clean offices, scheduling is easy and everyone working there is super pleasant, cool, informative and professional. Removery is an all around great experience.

The staff is very sweet and helpful and I love them all so much. August 2021 I came in for consultation to begin removing my newest tattoo, and they broke down the way laser removal works and gave me all the details. I was 18 at the time and they worked with what I could afford. The package price they picked out for me was fair and worked perfectly with my budget. Never had an issue with payments, scheduling, etc. I have been getting laser removal from this location for almost a year now and my tattoo will soon be close to gone. As of now it’s faded after about 6 sessions. Usually everyone’s main concern is when their tattoo will disappear and how quickly- it’s different for everyone, but keep up with the sessions and you will see a difference in due time :)

I easily applied for a consultation appointment through their website, for the next day. I arrived 6 minutes late, and they greeted me with kindness :) Wendy invited me in for consultation and everything went quick since I did my research beforehand and understood the process. She gave me the best and affordable payment plan, and we got our first session done the same day of consultation! The process was so quick, I was out in less than 40 mins! Overall good experience; highly recommend. Employees are nice and welcoming. Mary was my consultant, who was very patient with all my questions as she explained the process to me. And Robert was my specialist for the first session, who made me feel at ease as he worked quickly and efficiently, but not rushed even though it was almost closing time. The follow up text the next day to make sure everything went ok was also nice.

While this is my first tattoo removal experience, it’s been a wonderful one. The team at this removery in Brooklyn have been some of the kindest people I’ve interacted with at a business in a long time. They work to make sure I am comfortable and that we are safely and actively making an impact on removing my tattoo in each session while giving me tips to help the healing process at home. I definitely recommend Removery in the Atlantic Ave location. The staff are friendly, professional and make you feel welcomed. I would ask for Sungi. I been seeing him since October 2022 and so far I have had 4 sessions with him. Sungi is professional and engaging. Some of my tattoos are in side hip areas and I felt comfortable to expose these areas. Sungi will make you feel at ease and will provide details as to what he is about to do. I trust his work and he knows what he is doing. I am sad that Im leaving NY and have to get a new tech. Sungi you will be missed. I appreciate that Removery has different packages and option to purchase each session separately. Not every business offers this. The staff and technicians are super friendly and accommodating. My tattoo was in a sensitive area- no one made me feel uncomfortable about it. And when I tell you it’s removed- ITS GONE! No scarring either. As a black woman ignorant of the laser process, I was a little concerned about how the laser would affect me- it was completely fine.I greatly encourage you to get the unlimited package of you want your tat gone gone. And fun fact- you can’t get laser hair removal after doing laser tat removal on an area soooo do consider that 😅I’m very grateful that the tattoo that I thought I was stuck with forever, is now a memory. So grateful I found Removery. I can’t say enough.

Removery is helping me erase a very prominent tattoo on my upper arm that I have grown to hate over the years and the experience (besides the obvious bit of pain that is always over quickly) has been great. The technicians are always super friendly and answer every question I have. Theyre also incredibly cognizant of safety. Ive had 8 sessions and the tattoo is a shadow of its former self. Highly recommended if you also made a big mistake before your brain was fully formed :-)

Very nice person and she was initially the person that measured my tattoo, set the pricing and everything. However she called we had discussed what transpired and she had apologized for what happened since she wasn’t there. However I was offered a one time discount for what transpired to which I agree too only if I was going to be seen and treated by Amber only.I got my first treatment done yesterday, it wasn’t that painful and the services offered was great. She explained everything in step what not to do after the treatment. I am please and satisfied with the care that was giving and once I see progress in my tattoo I would definitely go back for further treatments.If your ever trying to make an appointment here ask for Amber, she’s very nice. 👍🏽

The office was impeccably clean and the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. I had my consultation and the process was explained thoroughly. There was even a test spot on my tattoo to see my body reaction. I have a raised tattoo which according to the staff means I am allergic to tattoo ink. The test spot was quick and easy. I have had a really excellent experience at Removery so far! Ive been in for 2 treatments. I appreciated how flexible they were during the height of COVID in NYC and were able to do an initial consult over video. The facility is spotless, the staff are so nice, and really thorough. When Im there I feel like I am in a spa/super chic dermatologist office combo. Theyve also been really diligent about the safety of clients, and I dont worry about catching COVID when I visit *at all*. Also — props to the team for consulting with their medical team twice when there were questions about medication I was taking and how it would react. They are thorough, nice, top-notch. My experience at Removery has been amazing, I just went for my 4th session with Jai who is so caring, nice and extremely educated and helpful about everything on the process. I am getting 2 tattoos removed, a black one on my collarbone and a red one on my forearm and the difference is like day and night and I also feel so much more confident without these tattoos and am looking forward to them being completely gone soon! I had a quick consultation appointment with one of the technicians and it was a disappointing experience. There was no wait time, but when I sat down with the technician, it was a very short conversation, and I didn’t feel very welcomed at all. They didn’t take the time to explain to me in detail about the process, what I should expect, or anything else. They answered my questions to the point, but customer service was not friendly or personable. I’m sure their services are fine, but I definitely didn’t feel comfortable with the staff.

Not the best communication. I set up an appointment for their reopening following the whole pandemic and they cancelled my appointment without notifying me. After rescheduling I went in for my appointment and they told me I had to pay for 4 months that I missed. I had no clue I missed anything because no one had called me. I just assumed that because of Covid that the payments were stopped. Apparently I was supposed to receive a call (never did). Anyway after not being treated in that appointment I contacted management and spoke to Renee , who also never returned my call and I’m still waiting , it has been a week. Overall their removal process is great but not the best customer service.

I didn’t expect to actually have my first session (I was really really concerned about the pain) and Jay made me feel so comfortable and safe and informed that I jumped right in. All of my questions were answered thoroughly, and I learned a lot about tattoos themselves that I didn’t know (I have several and am removing one in my knee).COST: I checked our Removery because I was eyeing LaserAway’s 70% off sale. For a 6 square inch tattoo, Removery quoted me at ONE THIRD the price on the nose. That’s 50% off their usual prices, versus 70% off at LaserAway. I was shocked when they quoted me and decided to go for it. Their quote also came with a guarantee for as many sessions as necessary to fully remove, vs. LaserAway at only 10 sessions max.PROCEDURE: During my consultation, I got nervous because someone next to me was having their first session and really hooting and hollering. I came in on Saturday, Feb 13 to the Brooklyn location for a tattoo removal. I met up with Amber and she was f#cken awesome! First time ever a gorgeous woman asked me to “drop your pants” not once, but twice without having to buy dinner or an expensive date! She went over everything, policies, procedures, after care, and answered all questions. The process was quick easy and painfree.
