Atelier Eva - Grand St

One of the coolest tattoo studios that I have been to. The interior is an open space with a flower garden and a little pond in the middle of the studio. Its very peaceful and tranquil. Everyone that I have interacted with, not only the staff but also other customers have been extremely pleasant and friendly. I cannot speak of the skills and the artistry of the resident artists at this studio, as I have gotten a piece from an artist who did a guest spot, but based on foot traffic alone and the amount of people that I have seen getting tattooed the entire day that I was at the studio, Id assume that they have some extremely skillful and talented individuals on their roster.

Got a portrait of my grandmother done by my favorite artist, Dani. As expected, the end result was perfect. This was an important tattoo for me and Dani was so detailed, careful, and on top of that, so, so kind! Would definitely recommend not just Dani, but the location itself/other artists too; saw so many talented people, just from my one visit alone.The tattoo shop is also so welcoming and visually so pleasing. There are widows on the roof you can stare at while getting your tattoo (if youre laying on your back) and it was such a great view while getting tatted.Cant wait to return when another tattoo idea comes to mind!

I wanted to let my tattoo fully heal before leaving a review, but I visited in early April and it was an amazing experience! You will NOT leave this place with a bad tattoo, the artists here are incredible. Its worth every penny and the scheduling was so easy. Lena was so kind and honest with my ideas, and the second the stencil went on, I wasnt nervous at all, I knew it was going to look great. It also healed perfectly with no pain or issues, and it still looks amazing healed! I definitely recommend Atelier Eva for your next tattoo.

I had an overwhelmingly positive experience at atelier eva - the booking process and appointment from start to finish were an absolutely stellar experience. The space is so clean, comfortable, modern, and the vibes were, dare I say IMMACULATE. For a 7-8 hour session, I felt so comfortable and relaxed with ample space between clients and an extremely calming ambiance. Everyone was so professional and communicative on what the process would be like and what to expect. They send a ton of reminders and emails to make sure youre prepared for your appointment.For the artist - Rob was an absolutely amazing artist to work with. From the design process to placement to ink on skin, I felt extremely cared for and attended to. You can really see his passion and love for art and tattoos with the amount of time, focus, and energy he puts into each and every design. He was able to bring my vision to life, and every single aspect, thought, and detail was considered. I had some trouble deciding on placement, but his patience and input really gave me reassurance and confidence in my final decision. And to walk into the space to see firsthand his pure joy and excitement in creating this piece with me just added so much more to my experience. The outcome of course was far beyond expectations. 1000/10 recommend!Ive had a range of positive and negative experiences at other tattoo shops in the city, so every new tattoo feels a little anxiety inducing when visiting a shop for the first time. From the moment I walked in, I felt so welcomed and all my nerves just fell away. I really felt like I was in good hands the entire time here, like a sense of belonging I dont always get at other places. I didnt feel afraid to ask questions or take my time figuring out placement and last minute details. And as a result, the piece by Rob (serious GOAT for micro realism/fine line) completely blew me out of the water! Honestly cant imagine going anywhere else for tattoos anymore. I will definitely be returning for more pieces in the future!

I recently got a tattoo from Eva at her studio on Grand Street and the entire process was exceptional from start to finish.I know it comes up time and time again in reviews, but it cannot be overstated — from the moment you step into the studio at Atelier Eva, you feel as though you’ve entered into a spa. Eva has curated a truly incredible environment laced with tranquility. Everything from the furniture to the flow of the space, the gentle sound of moving water, the serene music playing, the ample natural light, the plants, and even the design of the bathrooms exudes serenity. I could not imagine a more comfortable space to get tattooed.Eva herself is a consummate professional. She took tremendous time and care to understand my intentions for my tattoo and imbued it with her own vision and style. Each step of the process exemplified the care and professionalism Eva brings to her art. This is my third tattoo (first from Eva) and getting tattooed by Eva was distinct in a few ways.First, I never felt rushed. From our initial consultation to the design process and finally the sizing and placement, Eva gave me the space and agency to feel confident in the tattoo. She encouraged me to take my time, consider my options and voice my questions and feedback to her. She is not only a talented artist, she’s a thoughtful collaborator who brought my vision to life. Unsurprisingly, this relaxed, no-pressure approach left me with a tattoo that I’m in love with. It’s more perfect than I could have imagined.Second, Eva has the most gentle touch of anyone who has tattooed me. Her delicate style of tattooing is so comfortable and relaxing that I actually fell asleep while she worked on the tattoo. As such, my aftercare and healing process was a breeze. I write this review on behalf of both locations, and for artists Kaylee and Dani! I did a collaboration tattoo with both of them and let me just say this is the most beautiful, detailed, and thorough tattoo I’ve ever had. Dani did the flowers, and Kaylee did my mandala. I have a lot of tattoos, and this one is by far my favorite! from start to finish my experience was friendly and professional! Both locations are absolutely stunning in design and super clean! Dani and Kaylee were so sweet and listened to exactly what I wanted. My experiences at Atelier Eva have been exceptional. They truly set the bar for what a tattoo session should be like. All the artists Ive worked with have been not only outrageously talented, but warm, professional, and super communicative. I will continue to come back and get pieces from as many artists in the studios as possible for as long as they will have me.I will say, the one thing is the sticker shock for tattoos with these artists can be intense (from my own experience). I totally understand that as someones art, in NYC, at a premier studio, for something you will always have, this would be where splurging makes sense, but until going to AE Id gone to random studios for less complicated pieces, so the prices can be surprising, so just be ready!Thank you AE ❤️

I had seen this design available from Ash at Atelier Eva and immediately fell in love. After waffling for a few months, I decided to treat myself to it for my 30th birthday in January. These photos are from last week—in April, so 4 months later. I am in awe of how well it has healed, how crisp the lines still are, and how much I love this tattoo. Ash was absolutely amazing. She was the perfect mixture of helpful in sizing and placement while giving me the space to ultimately decide on my own. The tattooing process was a breeze—even the spicier spots near my elbow were weren’t all that bad and the time went by super quickly. The studio itself was beautiful; I’ve never been in such an aesthetic tattoo studio before. The whole process was incredibly relaxing, easy, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Can’t wait to go back for another one with Ash.

My spouse and I had tattoos done by Ash a few weeks ago. The studio was a lovely space - bright and airy. It just felt good. Ash was a delight! She worked us into her schedule (we were coming out of town), and she was very kind. Plus, her work is beautiful - she is a truly incredible artist, and she obviously takes her craft seriously. Caotida tattooed me with one of her designs and the entire experience was wonderful. The tattoo shop is in a really cool area of Brooklyn and the interior of the shop is modern and beautiful. Pilar had everything. Ready to go when I arrived and was extremely nice and patient with me as we decided on the size and placement of my design. She is truly an expert and the tattoo came out amazing. Fair warning, this shop is a bit pricey, but you truly are paying for extreme quality and it was worth every penny.

Atelier Eva is such a wonderful tattoo shop. The space is sun-filled, lux, and tranquil, and I like how they host events to raise awareness about tattooing as a form of art. I typically work with Ash (@inkedbyash) and she is amazing! She is great with line work and shading and is nice to work with. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for an enjoyable tattoo experience with creative, talented artists.

I got my first tattoo here with Ash (@inkedbyash on IG) last week! She was incredibly patient with me and explained every step of the process as she did it. Ash made sure to check on me to see if I need a break and made sure that I understood how to take care of my new tattoo before I left. She also applied the second skin bandage smoothest and without wrinkles. I will definitely be back for a touch up and maybe another tattoo! This experience was worth every penny.

This is my second tattoo with Dani, and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to go to anyone else. She is a true artist, and her work is incredible. You give her a general idea, and she exceeds expectations every time. Don’t worry that you only receive a draft until the day of, you’ll be happy with it and she’ll quickly and easily make tweaks.The studio itself is gorgeous and makes the process all the more enjoyable.

Ash Aurich at Atelier Eva is absolutely amazing! This was my 6th tattoo, but first with her, and I can’t go to anyone else now- my next appointment is already booked for my next piece!Ash is truly an artist, working with each client to ensure the piece is exactly to their liking. I sent Ash a few pictures of my dog and she gave me well over 4 options to choose from. After I picked she showed me 6 different sizes I could try to find exactly what worked for the placement I wanted. Having gotten a tattoo of my dog I was so nervous how it would turn out, but the piece she created was perfect and identical to the picture I provided.Ash was incredibly patient with every decision in the process, constantly checked in to see if I was doing okay or needed a break, and provided a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. My tattoo healed with no issue at all and I don’t even need a touch up.I absolutely love Ash’s style both of fine line and realism, providing the opportunity to mix and match her work to build the collection on my body. I am currently working with her on my next piece and have no doubt it will be stunning, exactly what I want, fairly priced, and I’ll feel at ease in the studio through the entire process. I’ve already recommended numerous friends and family to Ash, as I cannot imagine a better artist to trust with their next pieces. I started my tattoo journey about 2 years ago, and it was slightly intimidating at first as I didn’t know where to begin. I did some research on Instagram and came across Eva. Her amazing work caught my eye, so I decided to make an appointment. I was a little nervous at first, as expected… but from the moment I walked into her beautiful studio I felt a high level of comfort. Eva was extremely humble and gave me the sufficient time and guidance I needed to make my decision on the design, she is a true world class artist. I absolutely love the environment of this studio and Ash is the absolute best. I was so hesitant to get tattooed for the longest time because I’m so indecisive and specific. I really did my research and couldn’t be happier that I found her. She’s done all 5 of my tattoos now and even does my mom’s! I got my second tattoo with Caotida at this beautiful spa - I mean - tattoo shop. I had a not so great first experience with tattoos at another well known shop in Miami, and was nervously giving this a second chance. Immediately upon arrival - stepping into the studio felt and looked and even smelled peaceful, calm, welcoming and comfortable. Caotida was such a sweet and talented artist, and I felt like I got the best experience possible. My tattoo is gorgeous - even better than I imagined, and I loved the space and Caotida so much I’m heading from south Jersey up to Brooklyn tomorrow for a last minute flash appt. Can’t wait. I definitely recommend this studio to anyone who is looking to be treated with full attention and customer service and willing to pay a little bit more for the service and the long term art on your body. 10/10

The studio is stunning, exceptionally clean, and spa like. This was my first tattoo and was an amazing experience. Was greeted with a friendly check in and had a short wait for my artist Hailey. We sat down, discussed my references, size and font changes, and ways to make my tattoo a meaningful piece. I loved how Hailey gave her honest points of placements or additions. I went there after following one of their artists ( Pablo Gomez) on instagram.. and as a walk in wasn’t expecting to A.. get tattooed by my first artist of choice, much less on the same day.. but being a wonderful person as well as an open and inspired artist he made room in his schedule to tattoo me on my birthday! ( i Love my tattoo so much that i have already returned to add to it)And B.. when i walked into the Grand St location was Blown away! This is Not your average tattoo studio ( at least not in my experience) and the vibe and decor are beautiful, soothing and spa-like. It is the zen tattoo experience! Everyone that I have interacted with has been friendly and warm.. i also feel that their roster of Artists is incredibly talented and each lends their distinct artistic focus to create a place that says to me.. why would you go anywhere else! Already looking forward to my next tattoo!

What an experience. My first tattoo was in a grungy spot in Santa Cruz - and this is where (if I could go back) I would want my first tattoo to take place. This is a spot where you can tell the true artistry that takes place within the four walls. Everyone is super professional, and ready to work at your pace to discuss what will be on your body for the rest of your life.The vibe is so zen and almost like you would get at a spa. 10/10 would recommend.Thinking about what tattoo I’ll get next 😂

Atelier Eva is pure aesthetic in terms of a tattoo studio. Ive never seen a studio like this one. This is the newer location of the two. The booking process was so easy. Theres a link on their website that you can fill out and the studio managers will reach out to you to set up a time for the preferred artist. After browsing their Instagram page, I reached out to Atelier Eva to set up an appointment with Hailey. All communications were done via email. I showed up to my appointment and Hailey showed me what she had drawn up and I was already super drawn in by her artwork. She gave me suggestions on what works and what doesnt and I appreciated her honesty. Pricing is fair considering the amount of detail Hailey put into the tattoo. I couldnt be more in love with my tattoo; its definitely my favorite one so far. Thank you again!

I recently received a tattoo by Eva, and my experience with Eva and the studio was phenomenal. The studio was stunning and the staff made me feel comfortable as soon as I walked in. Eva is extremely professional and talented, and she worked with me to find the proper sizing and placement without making me feel rushed at all. I was extremely happy with the end result. For the tattoo, the shading, design, and Evas artistry was excellent, and for the studio, the professionalism, attention to detail, and hospitality was unmatched and I will definitely be back. My experience at Atelier Eva was absolutely unbelievable. My friend and I went for matching tattoos (mine black ink and hers white ink), and everything from making the appointment, to the reminders prior to the appointment and the appointment itself far surpassed any expectations I had.Pablo was an angel! His precision, professionalism, and humble nature made it truly enjoyable. Pablo sat with us before we started and made us feel comfortable immediately. I have never had a hand poke tattoo, and now I will never go back to machine. His talent is beyond and I would recommend him to everyone!The rest of the staff at Atelier was just as amazing; everyone was friendly, welcoming, and made you feel at home. I came here for my first tattoo and was unbelievably nervous. Once I arrived the nerves subsided, everyone there is so kind and overall vibe and atmosphere is calm, peaceful, and professional. Lena did my tattoo. I am still floored by her meticulous method. With her, you aren’t getting a tattoo, you’re commissioning art. The sentiments that are represented in the tattoo were deeply honored by the patience of Lena during every part of the process to ensure I felt confident in every aspect.She has a beautiful technique, there was minimal pain, if any, and the atmosphere is so calm that your body can just let go and submit to the process. The healing has been beautiful so far, there was almost no bleeding and the care she took left me with nothing more than what a mild sunburn would feel like the next day.I’d recommend AtelierEva to anyone looking to truly treat themselves to something beautiful, and Lena to anyone who wants truly stunning botanicals composed in a way that respects their natural composition as well as the way the body will carry that composition.

I got my first handpoked tattoo from Pablo Gomez and had an excellent experience. Not only was he communicative and collaborative during the design process, but he was so attuned to me throughout. He allowed me to lie down for the entirety and gave me breaks when needed. His technique was gentle and put me into a zen-like state. The tattoo shop itself was very welcoming -- super clean, open air, and quiet. I highly recommend the shop and Pablo.

Fabulous experience. I had 3 pieces done while visiting from Utah - a coverup, 5” microrealism (both by Pilar) and fine line text by Juliana. My husband also got a custom piece by Jaer that was a bit of a last minute “walk in”. I mention that it was a walk in because although he hadn’t scheduled in advance he was still able to get a beautiful, beautiful piece that was carefully designed and he still had the amazing, elevated experience that Atelier Eva offers.The space was gorgeous and comfortable. I loved that I could distract myself by looking up through the skylights. The music was on point. Overall a wonderful experience. The only suggestion I have that would make it an even superior experience is to have phone chargers available at the stations.

I came across Eva’s tattoos and this shop on Instagram a while back and was blown away by her work. I was so excited when she opened her books up and I was able to snag a spot on her schedule. I travelled all the way from Nashville to get a piece by her and it was more than worth it! The space is beautiful and like no other “tattoo shop” I’ve been to. This is a peaceful and pretty space that felt so relaxing. The staff was friendly and Eva was amazing. I would highly recommend her and this space that was full of amazing artists, it will absolutely be worth it!

I have two tattoos and got both of them at Atelier Eva from Uno and Pilar at two separate locations. Both are amazing artists who have their own unique styles and made sure to check in on how I was doing every now and then, especially when one of the tattoos was a six-hour session. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and the both spaces are very comfortable/relaxing and modern. 10/10 would come back here someday and recommend to my friends and anybody interested!

I got my first tattoo here! because it was my first, i did a lot of research beforehand: looking up my design, searching for artists whose style i liked, and looking into tattoo studios. i eventually found atelier eva and made my appointment, super nervous but excited. when i arrived for my appointment, i was blown away. the place is super pretty, clean, well kept, and very aesthetic. atelier eva on grand street is located next to a bunch of parks so the view was pretty great too. my artist was super welcoming, nice, and very thoughtful. throughout my consultation, JZ listened very carefully. it was so cool to see how he design and made it come to life. in the end i was very satisfied with my experience and tattoo at atelier eva!

I was so excited to finally get into the Atelier Eva space and to get to work with Eva on my tattoo. The whole space makes you feel calm and welcomed. The whole team was incredibly inviting but also seriously talented. I hesitated because of the price, but it was 110% worth it! Not only are my tattoos beautiful and intricate, but I had more FUN than Ive ever had getting a tat. Shoutout to my artist Noore who had me laughing (but also relaxed) the whole time!The art, the decor, the aromas, the people, the music, this place is the total package. A truly memorable experience.

I had a wonderful experience here. The booking desk was warm, welcoming and helped me get an appointment before I left town. RK was understanding and patient when I was a bit indecisive with the design, and she helped me arrive at a piece of art that I completely LOVE. And the studio itself is unlike any tattoo shop I’ve ever visited—it’s a spa like atmosphere. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful space and very different from any tattoo shop I have ever been to. The decor and feel of the space is very relaxing and spa-like. My tattoo was done by an artist visiting from outside the U.S. the first day this location opened and it is absolutely amazing.

I had an amazing experience on multiple occasions, today my artist was Pablo, the space felt super safe and I left with the cutest most dainty tattoo. All the staff were accommodating and kind. Cant wait to be back!
