Ive worked with Acetates for over 5 years and have been going to Mikiri Gallery since its inception; first the one on West Street, and recently this one on Nassau Street. The entire team is just great, creative, professional, clean and fun to spend time with. Ive recommended the team at Mikiri Gallery to anyone who is looking to get quality and professional work done. There is no other place for me - I love it there. 2 sleeves later and more to go.

Joaquin is the man and the studio is great. We’ve been working on my sleeve for close to 3 years now and I couldn’t be happier with his work. Im excited to see the owners open up a 2nd location on Nassau Ave, a little smaller than their main studio on West St, but with the same clean and cool aesthetic in the shop. Joaquin (IG: Acetates) is the man. We’ve been working together on and off since 2020 to sleeve up my leg. I’m always really pleased with the care and detail he puts into every one of his tattoos.He’s accommodating on scheduling, and our sessions are always filled with good banter and humor. Everyone who works there is an equally friendly bunch of talented tattooers. This is a great shop to consider for your next piece.

Great little shop, clean, well lit and awesome energy. I got some work on my leg by Paddy and he is truly a gem, if you are looking for a traditional tattoo I highly recommend him!
