I had a fantastic experience at this location today. The amazing artist who did my work today was Cheryl. I couldn’t be more in love with what I was provided with! The color is fantastic. The attention to detail. Not to mention, it was drawn by hand. This artist is awesome and I will be coming back here for more in the very near future.

Awesome service with Petey. Gave me a great tattoo to help me deal with my breast cancer. Super sweet, everything is clean and bedside manner was great! Will keep coming back to see Petey! Tattoo came out so well.

Went a couple month ago Because an apprentice bugged me to go, so I said sure why not. They started coloring in an old tattoo of mine, and I’ve been trying for months to Pay to get it finished just for the Apprentice to message me saying that they are no longer at that location. I would have to follow them at least two hours from me for them to finish. After I messaged multiple times throughout the last couple months trying to get a price and when it could be finished. Owner needs to do better with the people they bring in.

Best experience I’ve had in my tattoo journey, ask for Petey. He is personable, patient and will make the entire experience comfortable from start to finish. He also does piercings! I’ve come back for my last 4 tattoos plus a touch up.

Huge shoutout to Petey for making my daughter’s first tattoo simply memorable! We keep coming back to him and he does not disappoint! Shop is clean and all staff is super friendly! You can’t go wrong stopping by and getting some work done here!

Was a very welcoming environment, got seen quickly and one that did my hand tattoo was sweet and was very helpful when I got a little dizzy. They truly care about you. And the one that did my nose piercing was sweet. Overall all 3 people that was there were great and definitely recommend stopping by!

First the old staff was fired because they were all on hard drugs. The artist i had (Cody) made so many careless sloppy mistakes. So i found a new artist after they switched management. The new chick did an okay job. But just very unprofessional. Take my advice and go else where!!!! But trust me take your money elsewhere. Im going to get my work done elsewhere what kind of tattoo artist CHERYL. Doesnt reply to their clients. You have lost your mind. Unprofessional coughing on me while tattooing…making careless mistakes on my arm. Its crazy! Then had the nerve to complain about me complaining about her careless mistakes. Thats okay what goes around comes around baby girl. My sleeve will be finished and properly shaded in and ill be happy. At another shop.

Had a really wonderful experience! Everyone who works there was super nice and personable! Rob did really beautiful, detailed work and made me feel comfortable. I even got to play with the shop puppy, Ghost! Would definitely return and would 100% recommend to a friend.

Rob took great care in making sure I got the tattoo I wanted. Answered all questions I had about placement and using ink colors. The owner was super sweet and her dog ghost as well ! I will definitely be back in the future for more ink.

Very welcoming, Aliza helped me and was very friendly and cool. I got a pair of second lobes.

I finally had a memorial tattoo done for my son. Cody was amazing!!! He drew up the design even better than I could have imagined! It is beautiful! The people here were so kind and understanding. If I ever decide to get another one, it will absolutely be done by Cody! I wouldn’t think of going any place else!

Just Got my first tattoo here. it was a great experience. the staff was very cool and welcoming. felt like i was in there with friends i knew for years. Rob took great care of me. I had a minimal amount of time as a walk-in he was very accommodating. I even had my little baby with me and everything went smoothly. I got a tattoo and piercing. I plan to go back again very soon. I loved the energy there.

I went in to get a cartilage piercing but was worried about healing process and me wearing glasses but got explained very well the process of an industrial piercing as well as aftercare. I absolutely love the outcome! Rob was my piercer, I loved the energy from the workers and they were great people I knew I could trust to help me! I 1000% recommend coming here

My friends and I were looking to get tattoos last minute. We called and Kimberly answered the phone and she was so great and gave us all the information we needed. As soon as we walked in, everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Mitch was my tattoo artist and he was awesome!! He was super patient with me because I didn’t know exactly how I wanted this cute crawfish and when we decided on this one he was so helpful through out the whole process. It was my first tattoo and loved the experience so much that I’m definitely going here again. Rob also helped me with my piercing after I was done my tattoo and replaced my earring that was not good for my ear. Everyone was so helpful and open to questions. Highly recommend going here, these boys are one of a kind!!

This was one of the best experiences I have ever had in a tattoo shop. Totally impressed with their entire operation. The art work these guys do is breathtakingly beautiful. They focus on precision and satisfaction. I also had an earring from years ago that was stuck in my ear, Rob removed it and replaced it with a proper hoop. Mitch was so light handed during my tattoo and patient with me while I was deciding. The lady at the front desk is one badass angel, so sweet and insightful. I’m so happy we found this gem and I will absolutely be coming back.

First of all I called the shop and Rob was very professional and cool. And when me and my friend got in the building the lady at the front desk was very sweet and explained to us how important a first tattoo is and made me feel less nervous. Overall the communication and vibe in the building was amazing and I will definitely be going back for another very soon and I will spread the word that Village Tattoo in Brooklyn Park. Best first experience getting a tattoo.

From start to finish the experience was phenomenal! Kim at the front desk was wonderful. She engaged me as soon as I walked in the door and checked on me every step of the way. The artist, Rob, did an amazing job, better than I could have hoped for. He explained the sizes of needles, what they were used for and gave me a heads up when something was probably going to hurt more. The level or care and attention to detail was second to none, hands down. I will absolutely be going back for more work and would DEF recommend to EVERYONE looking for a tattoo or piercing

I went and got the brand of sacrifice from the manga Berserk tattooed on my shoulder, I went in just expecting to get a symbol on my shoulder but Rob gave me something much cooler, made the symbol look like it was actually in my skin. Will 100% go back for future tattoos!! I would recommend anyone to go for their first and future tattoos and piercings!

My mother and I got our piercings done by Rob and it was a very smooth, clean and professional process. He explained everything we needed to know and was easy to talk with. He and Linza were very approachable from the time we stepped in until we left and we would recommend this shop highly. Thank you guys for making this such an easy trip!

Edit** Almost took down my review when i found the shop was a completely different place. Rob is no longer there. Not sure if anyone original is there. But I went to get my daughters ears pierced. Walked in to someone actively cleaning, first green flag. Met with Brittany and she was AMAZING. So patient and calming. My daughter has been wanting her ears pierced for years but everytime it came down to it, shed back out, understandably. She handles children amazingly and just has this naturally peaceful demeanor. She made it a point on the phone that if it is a childrens piercing that they have to consent, which is a huge second green flag for me. My daughter felt some temporary discomfort but went to bed with no pain. I come from the Era of Claires so I was expecting redness and swelling for a few days, and maybe Im speaking too soon, but she has none. Im shocked. Only heads up I can give is that they are cash only, so come prepared.Phenomenal local shop. I first came here back in March to get a piece to commemorate my kids. Rob was extremely professional, kind and caring and brought to life exactly what I wanted. I came back today for their Friday the 13th flash sale just to see what pieces they had available and got a few. One I wanted placed on my buttocks. Although I couldnt stop giggling about it, Rob remained professional and did an amazing job on all the little pieces. Shop is always clean and everyone is so friendly.

I highly recommend Cody Rothe for all tattoo needs!!! He did the most perfect coverup for me when 4 other places said it wasn’t possible. Cody Rothe made it possible and it’s incredible!

This would be my 3rd time getting peirced but it always seems like the very first time lol! Linza and Rob were very accommodating and made me feel at ease. Rob did a great job with my piercing and Linza was so warm and welcoming, definitely will be coming back again!!

I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOOOVE VILLAGE TATTOO BROOKLYN PARK!! My boyfriend and I wanted to get simple matching tattoos and were looking for a walk in. Every tattoo parlor denied us until we finally found Village Tattoo. Upon arrival, we felt the good vibes right away. The whole experience was just amazing. Highly recommend !!! Went for their friday the 13th flash sale and even though we were there for a long time, i truly did not mind hanging out there at all. the staff is so nice and knowledgeable, rob specifically was great. they didn’t have time for piercings so they let us come back the next day and honored their sale price. thank you guys!

My daughter went to get a belly piercing and the lady who did it was very nice & fun she did an amazing job . She even surprised her with 2 pink balls for the piercing, we really liked her . Thank you guys so much

Took my daughter here to get her ears pierced since she finally said on her birthday a couple months ago that she was ready to get them pierced. The people here are very friendly and are very good at working with young children to help keep them calm when the child is nervous and excited all at the same time. Would recommend taking your child here if they want their ears pierced.

My daughter that just turned 7 wanted to get her ears pierced, she is very scared of needles so I was a little nervous. We had the pleasure of Rampage doing her piercing and she went above and beyond to make her comfortable and happy. She got it done fast and accurate. And my daughter couldnt have had a better experience. Everyone is very nice and with covid 19 they keep everything clean and sanitary. If your wondering where to go for your piercing ask for Rampage at village, you will have a great piercing along with a great time, highly recommended!

Very clean/comfortable atmosphere for my first tattoo. Nick was professional, patient, personable, and a highly skilled artist with attention to detail. He was also very knowledgeable of tattoo placement, size of lettering/boldness for longevity of the tattoo. He eased my anxiety by telling me what to expect each step of the way, and about pain/aftercare. Highly recommended.

This was my first piercing and I LOVE IT!! Rampage was awesome from start to finish, patient about explaining the different types of lip piercings to make sure I got the right one, made absolutely sure I knew what I was agreeing to, and most definitely made sure I knew how to treat it afterwards! Her energy was top notch and made me feel alot more comfortable being in the chair for the first time! Will gladly go again!

I went in to get my first with my bro, and the lady at the front desk was so kind, sweet and welcoming, she was very informative in telling us about getting out first tats. My dawg Rob (the tattoo artist) was kind, funny, handle the machine great, had good music playin, had great energy, wonderful vibe, very informative as well, definitely recommend village tattoo for anyone in the Brooklyn area or anyone who’s looking to get a tat it was definitely great experience!!!

Went and got my belly button pierced after loosing 115lbs and Rob was my piercer and he did the damn thang and even gave me a longer post for the jewelry so it would heal properly! coming back to get a tattoo soon!

This place is amazing friendly and clean. I had an awesome experience. I just got my first tattoo. The artists were friendly and didnt treat me like just another paycheck. They treated me like they really cared. They made sure I was comfortable and calm. My artist Mitchy even asked my favorite band and played music for me. He even explained how to take care of it. If youre worrying about where to get your tattoo and have anxiety about getting a tattoo this place is absolutely perfect.

Got a daith piercing. Piercer used stainless steel and said it was titanium after i told them I had allergies. The infection spread to my spine and put me in the hospital. Switched out the ring and had to have shots for it but it never healed a year later and I still can’t switch the jewelry because of how painful it is. Finally gave up today. I have nine other piercings (Done in VA) that have never had any issues. The piercing was just way too far in my ear. I’m going to have it redone when I go back home.

Let me tell you my story..I am 2 years outside of breast cancer treatment. Had a double mastectomy and breast reconstruction. Wanted to mark my anniversary with a tattoo but wasnt sure exactly what i wanted. Cody worked with me and in the end its exactly what i wanted. Will definitely come back to him for my next one

Me and my daughter went there and got tattoos by a man named nick at first I would have recommended him to anyone but that has definitely changed he makes appointments and forgets or just cancels them without any phone call text email nothing and then the way he spoke to me and I referred multiple people to him one of them went and got their tat started and had an appointment for the rest to get done he had a little medical issue and never called or text to let her know and we live almost an hour away and then a week or 2 later he still never reached out to let her know what was going on and ignored her and she paid upfront for everything and just never finished it and told them they were pretty much screwed out of money but the owner definitely of that place went out of his way to make it right thank god I would recommend the shop but not the artist I dealt with he was very unprofessional very very rude he could have handled the issue we had differently and it would have been fine but instead decided to argue and then went and emailed and texted the people I referred to him and brought all of them into it and tried to screw people for something he could have handled with an apology and everything would have been fine!!! The shop is good but the artist named Nicholas/nick was not!!!! I wouldnt have went this route if he handled this like an adult man and realized by having an appointment with someone and not texting or calling isnt right but he just wanted to argue still till this day no apology no nothing.

I did a thing. It’s a thing I’ve wanted for a long time to pay tribute to my writing work. I’m going to add words to it eventually when I find just the right ones. ❤️ thank you Cody at Village Tattoo. It’s still very pink and raw but it’s plain black with a bit of gray shading. It turned out exactly the way I dreamed it would.

Recently got my forearm piece finished by cody it turned out great its all original idea its always great experience getting tattoos from cody his slight of hand is very easy going when hes tattooing I recommend cody all the way

They are horrible my niece and I got piercing and felt like something was wrong and went to my original piercing place and had to get re-pierced bc it was in the wrong spot and was horribly done and called this rude place and the receptionist says welp you signed a waiver once you leave it’s on you and she’s supposed to be the manager

Hello, I know a lot about me. I got a tattoo in this studio and it was great, but I came back a few days ago and I got my hand tattooed and the tattoo was almost completely erased and they didnt want to give it to me as a guarantee. I dont recommend it.
