We did walk in tattoos, a tradition when I travel. Gigs was our artist. He was fun and engaging as well as talented. Our tattoos came out perfect. He has a very light hand. Some artists are heavy handed, so those with a light touch are very appreciated! Its definitely go back to him for any work I wanted done if I was in the area. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I adore Heather! She’s so welcoming and talented, I feel so comfortable communicating with her to make sure I get exactly what I’m looking for. She goes above and beyond to make sure I’m set up for success after leaving too.

My buddy and I came in and we were taken care of very well. Very clean shop with great personalities. I personally got an American traditional piece done by Gigs. He’s a very solid artist and super friendly. Highly recommend this shop and Gigs.

Best tattoo parlor Ive ever been to out of cheektowaga and the Buffalo area, nickel City is the place to go if you go anywhere else you are a sucker.

Ive been going here for years, & to Heidi specifically for over 6 years (shes very experienced & does great work). The shop is clean, & the atmosphere is chill. Would recommend to anyone.

Received my first tattoo this past week and cannot wait for the next one! This is the best place to go for your first experience: clean and professional plus friendly! Heidi was amazing and hilarious. She made me feel very comfortable. So happy with the entire experience.

I was in Cheektowaga for business and dropped by to get some work done. Gigs is fantastic and Im super pleased with the work he had done for me. I started getting tats of the places Id worked at as I travel 85% of the year, going to several sites. I already had the state of Idaho and St Thomas on my leg. He placed a mailing cancellation stamp of Buffalo (first class) and recolored the eyes on St Thomas for me. I returned to get a large piece on the other calf and I absolutely love how it turned out! Die with memories, not dreams seemed so fitting for my travels and I have Gigs to thank for the fantastic art work! I highly recommend this shop and Gigs! Wish I were closer to get more work done now.

Im no longer a tattoo-virgin! Don is talented, experienced and the tattoo is exactly what I wanted. Good convo in the chair made time go by quickly and the mood in the room is cool and fun.

Craig has done my sleeve chest and back. Dude is the man. He absolutely crushed everything.Do yourself a favor though. Give him a idea and let him create. I gave him some ideas and let him run wild. He is artist and when you let him have some freedom he is personally invested in the piece. He does the most incredible cover ups also.Dont sleep on anyone in the shop to be honest.

Giggs is a great tattooist. Hes very caring and patient. I will 100% be going back...

Super great overall experience. Craig’s work was amazing, gave us exactly what we wanted even though we didn’t really even know what we wanted. Something relatively simple but so important to us, and he got it spot on. Fast, clean, professional. Would absolutely recommend!

Amazingly talented artists, great service, and extremely fair prices. I expected to pay $300 and it came to $80. Clean and sanitary work area. I had Liz and she did amazing. Will definitely be coming back here.

Nickel City came highly recommended by a close friend. When we called the top 2 artists who were recommended to use were booked for a year. The guy Eric who answered the phone said he had appointments and were able to get me in the next day. I guess this should have been a red flag. I have 2 other tattoos so am not totally new to the experience. My husband and I showed up and met Eric and he did have an attitude from the start. I was having a simple letter D put on my shoulder and asked where he thought I should put it and he did not want to be bothered with giving advice. He said its a simple letter and can go anywhere. He then slapped some cleaner on my shoulder and said ok were just gonna put it here. At that point my husband stepped in and asked if we did something wrong and he mumbled something under his breath. At that point my husband said we are leaving and we left.. This kid should not be dealing with people as he is unprofessional and extremely rude. For the high recommendation we received for Nickle City this kid will only hurt their business. Simply just avoid Eric.

Chapee is the tattoo artist that fixed a horrible tattoo I had gotten years earlier from someone else and he also did a tattoo for me of my late daughters high school graduation photo. Simply put A+++ OUTSTANDING! He is unbelievably talented and I have seen several examples of work that other artists at Dons have done and Im impressed. You cant go wrong going to Dons if you want a tattoo.

Don & Eric were amazing. Eric fit us into his schedule last minute & did a wonderful job on our tattoos! They were personable & professional & we‘ll definitely go back the next time we’re in town!

My wolf shoulder piece was something super important to me, and I was so nervous to find a place that would capture what I was going for. Craig absolutely knocked it out of the park!!! All the artists here are of a very high caliber artistically but also as a human being. The pricing is outrageously good and you would not regret your experience here. But if I had to choose one artist to get tatted by its Craig Cheape. These guys are good so be prepared to be on the waiting list and trust me when I say its worth the wait, tattoos are forever after all.

It has been quite a few years since I was last at Altons. I was really Looking forward to it as I pulled out of the Gallerea Mall. Suffice it to say they are just as great as they always were, even tho a few things had changed. The waitress was very attentive and helpful, but Kudos to all Altona.

Friendly tattoo artist. She was able to squeeze me in her schedule the same day. That meant so much to me due to me wanting and cover up and I needed it done immediately. I love her energy and it was just meant to be for me to get my tattoo done by her. The session was therapeutic for me..❤

Tattoo Dons is a place weve been going to for many years.... Tattoo Don has been our artist since the 1980s.... always goes put of his way to give you exactly what you want.... hes an amazing artist. I would recommend his shop to anyone wanting a professional work of art on them!!

The worst technique I’ve seen in my life. I have MANY piercings from Fredonia to Buffalo, never had this experience. He pierced my Tragus diagonally facing toward my cheekbone. It made the area rapidly swell and developed cellulitis (both sides were done at the same time, same care routine, only one side went bad). I had to be sedated to have it removed with surgical tools. I had (have) pictures and medical documentation and the owner blamed me. He did refund for the piercing, but charged for jewelry. He messed up, not me, so retaining any of the amount was ridiculous. Don’t go here.

Tattoo Dons is an awesome tattoo shop! Im so in love my new tattoo that was done by Craig Cheape and my boyfriend has a sleave outline started by him...Both are awesome! Im such a baby when it comes to needles and Cheape told me not to worry because his tattooing is like a kiss from a bunny! 🐰💋 Lol! He was very gentle! Im extremely happy with the tattoo he designed for me in memory of my mother and my boyfriend loves his sleeve! I highly recommend Tattoo Dons if you want great artwork youll love forever!

Heidi had poor scheduling and follow up. I had a tattoo she started finished at another shop. Craig was short tempered and verbally abusive. Not worth it, go elsewhere
