The Tilted Rose Tattoo

Its been YEARS since my last tattoo simply because the last guy was shady. It took me all this time to become comfortable enough to find a new shop, and simply based on the women reviews for Tilted Rose, I was sold. Made my appointment with Zach, and both him and Joe were so friendly! Made me feel super comfortable going there on my own, and I will definitely be back.

The place is amazing, clean, very professional, accommodating and never ceases to amaze with the work they do. Joe does a phenomenal job. Zach does a top notch job as well. Never disappointed and the only place I’ll go to and trust. Worth every penny!

Joe is a skilled and passionate artist. Beyond his artistic ability, I’ve worked with Joe for several years because he is a genuinely good person and someone I can easily spend hours with. He has introduced me to new music, made me feel comfortable throughout each session, and has created beautiful pieces for me. I trust him as an artist, and have had incomplete ideas where I just told him, “do your thing”. They always turn out beautiful. I’m no longer living in the area, but while I’m visiting, I made sure to schedule an appointment with him to have another piece done. The love and care he puts into each piece is obvious. You will be glad you chose Joe if you’re considering a new artist.

Joe was amazing, it was my first tattoo and he made it fun, easy, and an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend to anyone getting their first tattoo or that have a bunch, I’ll be going back.

What an amazing experience. The shop is so clean and beautiful. Joe is one of the nicest people I have ever met, and genuinely cares about each client individually. its the kind of place you would feel comfortable bringing your mom or grandma to. He is a perfectionist with his art, and it really shows in his tattoos. I cannot recommend The Tilted Rose highly enough.

Ive been going to Joe for the last 5 years. There is time and effort put into every piece he does and its incredible. He genuinely cares about giving you the best tattoo experience possible. Theres multiple reasons why hes booked out so far in advance. Joes quality and standards are well worth waiting for. His practices and his shop is exceptionally clean too. The tattoos stand the test of time too. My oldest piece done by him still looks as fresh as my newer ones. I recommend him & The Tilted Rose to everyone who complements my ink.

Joe is a very compassionate and talented artist! His studio is gorgeous with a rustic urban feel to it, very light and airy and set up comfortably. We took my nephew for his first tattoo today and he made him feel at ease! I definitely recommend anyone to get in touch for a tattoo!

I have been getting tattooed by Joe (the owner) for 5 years, and am always blown away and impressed by what he can create for me. All of the work I have had done by him and at this shop is incredibly high quality and fairly priced, and still looks brand new. The shop is beautiful and pristinely clean, anyone would feel welcome in the space Joe has created.

Great place, great artist and an even better person. I was recommended to Joe from a few of my friends. He was everything you want in a tattoo artist. He takes the time to ask you questions and listen to your thoughts and ideas about your tattoo. He is very thoughtful and honest with every decision that is made. If you want a tattoo artist who just wants to pound ink of a crappy or inappropriate tattoo into your skin, go to someone else. Joe is a true professional and truly loves what he does for a living and it shows in every single one of his tattoos.

Joe is a class act and not only a truly talented artist, but one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. Tattoo shops can be intimidating, but Joe’s demeanor makes you feel at ease within minutes. He has always taken my ideas and put his own twist on it to create something I LOVE. He is worth the wait as well. I cannot say enough good things about him! You will not be disappointed!!

I’ve gone to The Tilted Rose Tattoo for all of my tattoos and they have all come out great. Zach is a terrific artist who is very kind and gives you what you want every time. I also know plenty of people who have gone to The Tilted Rose to both Joe and Zach and they’re tattoos have all turned out great. They are very kind and it’s a great environment to get a tattoo. I will continue to go back for a long time.

Joe does amazing work. Ill be going to him until hes stops tattooing. I give him a basic idea and let his artistic skills take over and complete what Im looking for. I have complete faith in his work and ideas. Ive had over 20 hours of ink time (full sleeve / chest piece) with him and look forward to much more. I get compliments on my rose sleeve almost on a daily basis, its amazing!!Ive also never met anyone as kind and funny as Joe who works in the tattoo industry, he makes you feel as comfortable and welcome in his shop as humanly possible. The Tilted Rose Tattoo has a great setup and I love being in there, check it out!!

I’ve spent a good amount of time at The Tilted Rose this year and I always look forward to coming here. Joe and Zach are so personable and easy to work with. They’re both extremely talented and versatile artists. The shop is clean and prices are very reasonable. Also, they have a candy dish.

Joe is the best! I wont let anyone else tattoo me. Ive been to so many tattoo shops and I always get the same vibe, where everything is crammed into the small space and you cant move around a lot. This is the 1st shop Ive been to that has an open layout & its not so congested. Joes spent over 30 hours so far working on covering my leg, he pays attention to every detail and he makes it such a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Id 100% reccomend this shop to anyone looking for a tattoo. If Joe isnt available he makes sure youre taken care of with Zach.

Hands down the best tattoo studio in WNY. Joe has been my tattoo artist for 12 years and I wouldnt trust anyone else. If your looking for a professional and detail oriented artist, its Joe! Clean line work and always has very helpful input to ensure your getting exactly what you want/envision. Trust me when I tell you he is worth the wait. Tilted Rose is an incredible tattoo parlor. Ive been getting tattooed by the shop owner, Joe for 10 years and have nothing but good things to say.The shop itself is a comfortable aesthetic and very clean and sterile. They prioritize safety and cleanliness and really go above and beyond for their customers.The quality of the work they do Id top tier and anyone who receives a tattoo from the artists will assuredly not be disappointed.The artists take a tremendous amount of pride in their work and it shows. The artists will also not hesitate to point you in the right direction for what would look good in your piece if you are unsure or if the concept of your piece can possibly be improved.Whether youre getting tattooed for the first time or if youre covered, I highly recommend your next tattoo be done here.

I had no idea where to go to get my first tattoo. After talking with Joe and hearing his plan with my idea I knew I had the right guy. He is meticulous with everything from set up to clean up and of course throughout the process. His shop is super clean. Joe is easy to talk to and really understands how to put together the ideas that sometimes felt hard for me to explain. Im currently a third of the way through my first tattoo, which is a full sleeve by the way. I could not be more happy with the process, design, shop and Joe himself. Looking forward to the finished work.

Cant say enough good things about The Tilted Rose and its owner, Joe. Every step of the process is smooth, professional and comfortable! The shop is clean and welcoming which (esp. for newbies) is a huge plus. Then everything from the designs, application, conversation and clean up is top notch. Any work Ive had has healed beautifully and looks just as fresh/crisp as the first day - line work, shading, contrast included. Dont let the wait for scheduling a session deter you. Theres a reason hes that busy - and hes worth it!

I am 18 and just started getting tattoos done by Joe. I couldn’t ask for more, he creates artwork that blows my mind every time. He is very personable as well. If you live in Buffalo, it is a no brainer to see Joe if you want a tattoo.

I was nervous about getting my first tattoo and a friend of mine recommended Joe. After meeting him and discussing what I wanted, I knew he was the right choice. Joe is incredibly down to Earth and EXTREMELY talented (what a catch hah). I didnt know what to expect but after my first tattoo, my wife and I shed a tear because of how special and beautiful it was (memorial for lost loved one). My second piece done by Joe was exactly what I wanted and the level of detail far surpassed my expectations. I wouldnt trust anyone else to do my work.
