Neon Dragon Tattoo & Body Piercing

I’ve heard of the professionalism exhibited at Neon Dragon from countless people and had no doubt going into my appointment that I was in capable hands.Abby Marie posted a flash for a matching set of blackberry tattoos around the knee area and I knew what I had to do. She made everything super streamlined and easy from contacting her to setting up an appointment to putting in the deposit and the day of the appointment itself. I’m a big weenie so I brought my entire house (a book, Switch, water, snacks, you name it) to the appointment since it was my first ever larger scale tattoo and I wasn’t sure what to expect time wise.Abby knocked it out of the park in terms of speed and comfort. I felt virtually no discomfort both physically and otherwise while she did her work. Four hours later we were all wrapped up and I have the cutest knee tattoos to show off. The other staff are also super cool even if I maybe come off as too friendly and talkative. The environment itself is clean, relaxing, and has various forms of entertainment/distraction if you don’t bring your entire house like I did.TDLR; 10/10 would recommend, go get tatted or pierced here.

Best shop I’ve ever been to! I had my doubles done and everyone was super friendly. It was nice to hear staff laughing with each other and other customers as they walked in, it was clear that they all enjoyed their job, from the gal checking me in to the guy piercing me (Andy). They explained the process thoroughly and gave me plenty of time to shop for jewelry. I appreciated the sterility test they showed me on the needles they used. Andy explained every little step and tool he was using, and as he said, “My jokes hurt worse than the piercing.” Very true 😂 great staff, great shop. Would get more body mods done just to see the staff again lol

I was nervous about who to go to for a cover up I was needing done, but once I read Ashleys bio on Neon Dragons website & saw her work I knew shes was one I wanted to do this piece! She was so friendly & patient. She made sure that I was getting exactly what I wanted. She truly is the best & I am so happy my new ink!!

I came to Neon Dragon Tattoo with two friends to get matching tattoos. We worked with Ashley K. and had the best experience. We shared design ideas and inspiration with Ashley in advance. When we arrived to our appointment she had several design mock-ups ready for us and she was eager to collaborate with us to make sure we each got the design of our dreams. Throughout the process, Ashley was professional, enthusiastic, and communicative--definitely one of the best tattoo experiences weve had and we would work with her again. We spent several hours at the shop and appreciated the comfortable and welcoming space. We are thrilled with the outcome!

Andrew knocked this out of the park!! He took my idea and turned it into something way beyond what I imagined! Everyone there was truly a delight to talk to- I laughed more than I have in awhile even when the last 2 hours were rough 🤣 this was my first large full color tattoo and he was so understanding and patient!11/10 highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

Came today and got my helix/cartilage pierced and was extremely satisfied with my experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming and my piercer was very patient. She walked me through the entire piercing process and helped me get my piercing in the perfect position for me. Will absolutely be coming back!

Andrew Douglas at Neon Dragon is nothing short of a wizard with the needle. He delivered outstanding work, and when it comes to anime tattoos, he’s easily the coldest artist around his attention to detail is just unreal.As for the rest of the Neon Dragon crew, well, their level of maturity was something else. I mean, it’s hard to find a group of adults who can laugh at the most juvenile jokes for hours on end, right? But hey, who needs professionalism when you’re getting top-tier art like this? My artist was Kari Rhoades. This is my second tattoo, first with Neon Dragon absolutely love it. The booking process was easy. I absolutely love the work the artist did, she was easy to work with and very professional. She made sure I understood the whole process from start to aftercare. I will definitely go back again and can recommend you check them out. The photo is fresh with second skin bandage why it looks blurry.

I absolutely LOVED my experience here at the Neon Dragon. They pride themselves in making the atmosphere as welcoming and comfortable as possible with above and beyond staff!I had an appointment yesterday and it went so well! The girl at the front desk with the blonde/white hair was so nice and sweet! (I wish I recalled her name) she helped me pick out very cute options for jewelry and stayed around my budget which was pretty cool. The titanium steel is EXPENSIVE and worth it. Quality is everything.I got my double nostril done by J. R. and he was personable, professional, clean, and VERY kind. He talked me through everything through breathing techniques and his steps explaining the why behind what he was doing. He was so freaking fun to work with. Upbeat attitude and I have a story to write about this place but for now; you guys are AMAZING! Im definitely gonna come back again and again!

Iv been getting tattoos done by Neon Dragon for about 7 years now. No matter what artist you go with you are getting a great tattoo. They also have a great environment with great staff that make you feel welcomed.

Neon Dragon is a super nice tattoo studio. TVs to watch, nice bathrooms, and very clean. The artists I met were very nice and made it a positive experience.Andrew Douglas is a master anime tattoo artist. We did a thigh tattoo. Having 2 full sleeves already, I thought it would be a cake walk. Turns out it hurt the worst for me. I was shaking for the second half of my 7 hour session. Despite this, Andrew was very understanding and he still did as good of a job as if I wasn’t shaking. He is an excellent artist and tattooer.

WOW! Our 6yo got her ears pierced by Andy and I had not one concern about the entire process. He was AMAZING with the kids, precise with the piercings and made the entire appointment seamless.Pros:- Online booking was easy.- Entire place was SO clean.- Staff was professional and not at all bothered by the presence of the kids.- Quality jewelry selection.Cons: Honestly, don’t have any to list.We will return!

Yesterday we had Andy pierce my 9 year old daughters ears. He was absolutely amazing. She had made the decision to get her ears done for her birthday & I chose Neon Dragon because I have heard so many good things about them. She had a month or so to keep talking through it & prep herself for it. She isnt good with pain so we have been pumping her up trying to get her ready. My daughter struggles with anxiety with needles from medical visits over the years so we were prepared for her to not do them. I knew once we started she would want to quit. And would be extremely upset. However, Andy allowed me to talk her through the process to get her through it after the first ear was pierced. I never felt rushed to get her out of there. She panicked after the pain of the first one. I knew we were pushing time toward the end but at no point did he get frustrated with us. I know my daughter well enough to understand that how upset she was now, would not compare to her disappointment if she couldnt finish it. She was firm to get it done though. And today she is absolutely thrilled with how her ears look with the beautiful gems she picked out. They dont hurt at all. There is no crusty stuff. Cleaning was easy. They are perfect! She is so ready for all the new colors she wants to buy when they are healed. If she decides to try for more as she gets older, Andy will be our first choice for her always!

Ive had several piercings and jewelry changes done at neon dragon, and I have never left this shop disappointed. Theyre sterile, informative, and honestly just fun people to be around. Im always excited for new mods but I also enjoy kicking sh!t with the staff. It feels like Im getting stabbed with needles, but by my friends! S/O to Kaitt for my super brutal dermal and the hilarious conversation.

Jason is the man. I first came to him with an idea of getting a portrait of my two dogs on my calf, but in the style of the Step Brothers movie poster. He liked it so much he put me at the top of his cancelation list and got me in for it within just a couple weeks. He completely killed it and his since finished a sleeve that was 3/4 finished by another artist and filled it in with really cool ideas and touched it up to make the whole thing look new again. Jason and the crew at Neon Dragon will be my first choice for ink going forward.

I’m extremely happy with my new tattoo from Abby Marie, her artistry turned my idea into a tattoo that is better than I ever expected, she took what I showed her, listened to my ideas and created it and even free handed some to make it perfect! Her line work and colors are perfection.

Abby was able to take my moms handwriting from a letter and arrange it into this. She did this as a walk in. I wanted something super simple to remind me of my mom, and she nailed it with the handwriting. The shop is clean and the atmosphere is relaxing! Check them out.

Got my septum pierced by Andy! All of the staff I spoke with were super nice and helpful. They are serious about doing things the correct way and have your best interests in mind, while being laid back and fun to talk to. I went to get a flash piece from Kari Rhoades and had the BEST experience. Everything was very clean, Kari was super easy to talk to and the appointment flew by. Best shop I’ve ever been 2 the owner is one of the most phenomenal people I’ve ever met in fact all of the artists are amazing and actually care about people. I got 3 tattoos in 2 days 2 by a visiting artist and one by the apprentice. Who was absolutely amazing don’t let the word apprentice scare you she’s an absolute pro. Thank you guys I’ll be back!!

My experience at neon dragon was exceptional. The appointment process was easy to book online and informative. I filled out my release form ahead of time and paid a retainer for my procedure at that time too. I chose to go with the next available piercer, which was Andy.Andy was friendly, informed, and had a great attitude. He was passionate about his line of work, which made me even more excited for the outcome. We took time to go over my options for jewelry and why we were picking the sizes and styles that we did. I was also able to restock my wound spray for healing and aftercare.All of my jewelry was sterilized at the appointment, sterile gloves and overlay were also used. My skin was cleaned twice before it was pierced. I feel really good about the healing process thanks to all of these precautions. There were no surprises and I felt taken care of during the entire procedure.Everyone I interacted with at the shop was friendly and the shop itself was cleaned and wiped down multiple times during my visit. The piercing room had an air purifier and touchless garbage cans.I cannot stress enough the quality of the services provided at neon dragon. The team belongs to the association of professional piercers and has their certificates on display in the lobby. If you are looking for a high quality piercing, this is the place to go.

Friendly staff, knowledgeable about piercings, and very clean.Took my daughter to get her ears pierced, the gentleman explained all the parts and care to her.Followed up 2 times to make sure we were keeping her ears cleaned and the earrings were safe.

So after 56 years, I decided to get my very first custom tattoo from my daughter, Ashley Kayser, who is an apprentice at Neon Dragon Tattoo. Incredible place, happy I choose Andrew Douglas for my first tattoo. Very friendly crew, had a great vibe watching Kung Fury and singing along to 80s classics for a 7 hour session. Honestly blew away every expectation I had. I checked out the other tattoo work happening while I was there and every piece was incredible, detailed, great color, etc.Andrew had an immaculate eye for detail, handled a pretty crazy design request from a 16 bit Super Nintendo game without a lot of source material, and he had the most infectiously great attitude through the whole experience.Cant recommend this place highly enough. I had an amazing experience getting a nostril piercing here! Matty and Andy made me feel welcome right away. Matty helped me pick out the perfect piece of jewelry, and Andy did a wonderful job with the piercing, walking me through everything he was doing. Cleanliness and customer service were top notch! I had my septum pierced elsewhere, however after consulting 2 other piercers I learned it was too low. The staff at neon dragon were super understanding and helped me get the original piercing removed and let me know of the timeline for getting it redone, now 3 months later I just got my septum redone and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The staff were super friendly and I was super comfortable every step of the way. Absolutely amazing place and staff, I would recommend it to anyone looking to get any sort of piercing.

We brought our 15 year old daughter here today to have her ears pierced, and it was a great experience! The front desk was amazing. He was really nice when I had messed up on our appointment time and helpful picking jewelry, as well as with going over cleaning instructions. Justus did the actual piercing, and we felt completely comfortable with him doing the piercing without us being in the room, and our daughter was extremely happy when she was all done. Her piercings are straight and the jewelry quality is excellent with a really good selection. They even made a follow up appointment to check the progress of her healing. It is well worth the extra money spent to go somewhere this clean and knowledgeable.

Kari is AMAZING!!! Her work is stunning and she is so great to get tattooed by. Very sweet, funny, and a great person to be around, definitely the kind of person you want while your tattoo is hurting something special. I am so happy with my tattoo and I drove over an hour to get to her. Worth every mile. The other people in the shop are also super sweet coming by and chatting with you.

I had an appointment with Andrew, I traveled 10 hours from TN to get tatttooed. Lets just say it was well worth it. Andrew was very welcoming, and made me feel right at home. The shop was well managed and super clean. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Full day appointments can be brutal especially if your not comfortable, the crew made sure everything went as smooth as possible. The quality of Andrews work is insane, he is truly a master craftsman. To Jason, Andrew and the rest of the crew. Keep being AWESOME.

Andy did my nose peircing and he was wonderful! Its not everyday I get a hole in my nose, and he made me feel comfortable and did a great job placing the piercing. I live in CA now,and will always go back when visiting!

There isnt a single artist at Neon Dragon that I dont trust to deliver fantastic work. Extremely clean shop, and a friendly environment-- whether its your first tattoo or your last, youll feel right at home here! Artists are all brilliant, and are very open and willing to work with you to execute your unique vision whilst also incorporating their individual styles. HIGHLY recommend. :)

I went in for a double lobe piercing done by JR, and it went great. Everyone there was super nice, and they explained everything thoroughly. No surprises, they kept things real. The piercing went smoothly and I can tell they care about their customers. I highly recommend them for piercings and will be coming again for more.

We took our 10-year-old daughter here to get her ears pierced, and man... they are the most gentle, kind, knowledgeable, and patient people around.As any young girl would be, my daughter was nervous. They talked her through everything slowly, with empathy and compassion, and made her feel comfortable.Every step of the way was measured, not rushed, and the whole process start-to-finish was just wonderful.Cannot recommend this place enough.

I like asking tattoo shops for numbing cream as a vetting process even though I dont use it, as a precaution so I know Ill be receiving conscious and caring treatment during my sessions. What I dont appreciate is how condescending the operator was explaining how I should be worried about more than numbing cream when picking out an artist and explaining how numbing cream is a bad idea. He went on this long tangent instead of letting me explain myself and I ended up having to hang up. If you want empathy, look somewhere else. - edit nu-uh

This place is clean, as in surgical clean. There are air purifiers and sterilization machines everywhere. The staff is friendly and professional. They have all the right tools and techniques for piercing. They require parental release, signature, and authorization—which I love! Nobody flies by the seat of his or her pants. Piercings are marked, measured, and checked ahead of time. They sell the right earrings to use (titanium) to prevent allergic reactions. This is the place to go if your daughter wants her ears pierced.

I drove 15 hours from North Carolina to have work done by Andrew Douglas. It was VERY much worth the trip. The shop is clean and everyone is extremely friendly and professional. All of the artists work I have seen is amazing and incredibly detailed. Andrew did an amazing job on my tattoo today and I hope to be able to book with him again in the future. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone local or looking to travel.

Kait did an amazing job with my daughter’s second lobe piercing! Her firsts were done in the mall with bad results. I will only go to Neon Dragon for piercings from now on. They make sure everything is sanitized, gloves, iodine, mask…they are very serious about cleanliness which I appreciate! My daughter is afraid of needles and was pretty nervous. Kait did an amazing job talking through everything as well as just being friendly in general. 5 stars!!

Tyler Daubenmeir is very talented and a passionate artist. Ive been extremely satisfied along with several of my friends with all his work that weve had done and also see him do. I got my first tattoo with Kari. She was awesome to work with! Very good about working with me to make sure I got what I wanted and such a talented artist. The place is very clean, and with a wait list of at least 4 months, their reputation says a lot about them.

Every year my mom gets me a new piercing for my birthday. We usally went to Clares but we needed a change after a certain situation. We decided to try neon dragons and we were amazed. They really take time to make sure your piercing is safe. And healthy for your ears. The people are also really nice and calm down your nerves. And they make it such an easy process!!!!

I will literally never go anywhere else for a piercing. I got my navel done here and my conch, and the entire staff was so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. They make you do a follow up appointment a month after, which I like because it shows they care and gives you a chance to address any concerns, etc. I recommend that everyone go here for their piercings. The only place Ill get piercing.Took my 8 year old daughter to get her ears pierced for her birthday. She was very scared. Andy took the time to talk to her, show her every single item that would be used, didnt do anything without consent, and was able to get her talking and comfortable. When she wanted to stop after the first ear he made her feel completely okay with the decision and wouldnt go on if she didnt want to. She ended up going for it and she wont stop talking about how awesome Andy is to this day!

I went in with my wife and daughter so my wife could get her nose piercing. The customer service in this place was absolutely phenomenal. Both of the employees we dealt with were professional, kind and patient. The bed side manner was also amazing as well as the piercing being done very well. They even very delicately and patiently answered all of my 10-year-olds questions about the process of piercing. Couldnt recommend this place enough

My brother and I got sibling tattoos in the beginning of the month. The only reason I gave two stars is because mine turned out just fine. His, however, has a pretty clear blowout. At some point Zack, the artist, got up to take care of someone that walked in for an appointment, and I think that’s when it would have happened. He seemed a bit distracted throughout the whole process honestly but was nice enough. Obviously not sure though for sure. It’s unfortunate because I looked Zack up online beforehand and his stuff looks amazing, so we’re pretty bummed about this. $150 a piece for a blowout. The picture doesn’t show how dark the blowout really is either. Pretty disappointed. The place is clean and well kept at least.

I keep coming back to Neon Dragon because the folks (Ive only been in for piercings) are always extremely knowledgeable and passionate about piercings. They have an excellent selection of in stock jewelry and jewelry I can order online. Ive appreciated their input on new piercing ideas based on my anatomy, goals, and personal style. We had Kait pierce my daughters ears. She was wonderful to work with - from explaining each step of the process including the sterilization of her tools, to helping us pick out the jewelry. Additionally she was able to reopen my ear piercings that I thought had closed. The jewelry available at Neon Dragon is high quality, beautiful, and many unique options to choose from. Overall, a great experience.

Had my first tattoo experience here! I went in to schedule an appointment, but due to the small size/simplicity of my tattoo, Rylee was kind enough to work me in. He was great at explaining everything to me, and talking with him while he worked was the highlight of my day. I was in and out in about an hour.Very clean and very friendly atmosphere, 11/10 would recommend.

I have gotten many piercings over the past few years from different places, but the only place that I have been fully impressed with is Neon Dragon. Yes, they are a bit pricier, but they have the best quality jewelry you can get. They are extremely knowledgeable about their jewelry and piercings. Among their high-quality jewelry, is the cleanliness of the place and their practices. They do everything correctly. This is the only place that I have not gotten some level of infection from, and their jewelry stays beautiful for a very long time. I have continuously came back just to buy jewelry here because you cannot beat the quality. I have yet to get a tattoo here, but it will absolutely be where I get my next one!

We took my 12 year old today to get second lobe piercings on a whim. She has pretty extreme anxiety, and we fully expected that she might back out at the last minute. The employees at Neon Dragon are so incredibly patient, kind, and professional. Not only did they explain every step of the process, they validated her concerns and talked her through anxiety in a positive way. I cant say enough about the thoughtfulness of every employee we worked with.

Im 13 and Andy did really good on my ear lobe peircing job he had made me smile, made me laugh, and i asked him some questions and he did an long good preparing before using the needle too poke a hole, I think he deserved that big holesome tip from my father and I, idk how much more I could thank him. After he put the thing behind my ear he made sure everything looked good and that it looked good for me, then he had to poke a hole and after that he put in the earings and they looked awesome! Very nice, clean, and friendly shop! I went in and asked for a tattoo and they guys in there got me an appointment set up quickly, and I got to talk to the artist immediately. Zane Decker is amazing! Everyone in the shop and Zane are all great to talk too, and the time went quickly! My tattoo is crisp, shaded nicely, and has great linework. Would reccomend to anyone looking for a tattoo or piercing.

I got pierced by JR and tattoos from Andrew! I will not go any place else. You hear people say their to expensive! Well its like this folks you get what you pay for I got great jewelry, I didnt have to go back for infection and it wasnt crooked for a piercing from JR. Andrew I got beautiful art work and vivid colors for a 3/4 sleeve. Their business by Galaxy 16 it is the most cleanest place I have ever been to, to get work done. I went to high school with a partner in the business. They are knowledgeable, skilled, and highly trained. They care about their clients and dont just shuffle pple through to make a dollar. For instance my daughter had an appt last to get her septum pierced. Last year at this time she got a nose ring. Its kinda a mother daughter birthday tradition. Needless to say she had a slight inflammation in last years piercing b/c it got snagged. N e ways he rescheduled not wanting to add extra stress to that area. Love them all.

I was pretty nervous to get a piercing. All the staff that I came across were very polite and professional. My piercer was wonderful and was telling me what she was doing and just trying to keep me calm. I would highly recommend the place to anyone who is thinking about getting a piercing.

I got my septum pierced here about a month ago and seeing as it was a piercing I had wanted for so many years I couldnt have asked for a better experience. The pricing was more than reasonable and the care that he took of me was beyond my expectations. Even on just a consultation the day before he felt the area to get a good idea of what it would be like and when I came back for the piercing he was extremely accommodating with my anxiety about needles making sure to keep me calm and relaxed and didnt have the needle in my line of sight up until the last necessary moment. He was very clear about what he was going to do and how to take care of it. All of this added up with the cleanliness and overall atmosphere of the shop Im insanely impressed and happy with my experience and I would 100% recommend going in here to any and everyone whether its your first piercing or your tenth its sure to be a great experience!

NEW STAFF HORRIBLE TREATMENT I’d been getting my piercings done here for years and in the past this would have been the only place I’d recommend. It seems they have have hired some new people and their customer service is offensive and traumatizing to say the absolute least. It’s disappointing to see the change but I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I was very uncomfortable and felt I was treated unfairly and almost in human? Very disrespectful and careless customer service.

Piercing Review:I got five piercings in one sitting by JR. Id never been to Neon Dragon before but Id always driven by it, and not gonna lie, for some reason I was a little sketched out by going to a place next to Subway in a strip mall, but just goes to show you can never judge a tattoo shop by its location. I got my nose double pierced, my helix pierced (upper ear), and both of my upper lobes pierced. I got a really good vibe from the place and called to make an appointment before going, but the girl on the phone said I could just walk right on in. As soon as I walked in I was immediately asked if I needed any help and I said I was there to get some piercings. I only had to wait about five minutes before JR was able to help me, and as soon as I told him what I wanted to do he was completely on board and enthusiastic! He was incredibly knowledgable about all the jewelry and the sizing, and explained everything in detail about how the process would go. He only charged me for three piercings instead of five since I was getting them all done at once. I was also really impressed by the cleanliness of the shop, and everyone was dressed really nicely (I think they do a dress-up Friday instead of casual Friday), and I thought that was really funny and different.The actual process -Every needle they use there is passed through a pass/fail indicator to make sure its sterile, and he explained this process and showed me the needle after it had passed. We first started with my nose, and he made two marks with a marker to show me where theyd be and asked me to check if I was okay with the location. He then explained that he would ask me to take a deep breath and exhale as the needle was passed through. The process was really quick and pretty painless (I have a high pain tolerance so this might be different for everyone), and with each piercing it was the same maker - deep breath in and out process. Afterwards he threw in a saline cleaning solution for free and explained how often to clean them and to come back or call if I had any questions / problems.Overall, I highly recommend Neon Dragon (at least for piercing). Great atmosphere, clean shop, great people, and moderate / normal pricing!

I have not been pierced or tattooed at Neon Dragon, but it has always been a pleasant experience everytime I have set foot in the shop. Its a very friendly and inviting atmosphere with plenty of artists overflowing with product knowledge. Jay R has helped me locate and acquire some of the nicest jewelry Ive owned. They deserve no less than a 5-star rating in my personal opinion.

I was very impressed by how nice and helpful everyone was. I got my belly button pierced here and was nervous but they made me feel comfortable. Even gave me a piece of candy when my blood sugar was dropping. Highly recommend.

Went to get an industrial piercing done, and while waiting, there was an irate customer getting upset with the staff about her past jewelry purchase. JayR was calmly talking with the irate lady and explaining things while letting her know in a calm, yet firm, tone that she was not allowed to mistreat or disrespect him or the staff, no matter the situation. Myself and other patrons chatted about how professionally he handled the situation and how calm he stayed despite the situation and level that the irate lady went to (fairly rude yelling and demands).My spouse and I have been here a few times before and expected nothing less, as they have always been friendly, courteous, and informative for each and every visit.Very glad we chose Neon Dragon for their professionalism and knowledge. Apparently some people do not realize what goes into getting APP certified and choose not to listen to their instruction.Highly recommend!Thanks guys!

If you’re considering getting a tattoo, I do not recommend the Neon Dragon Tattoo.I had an appointment scheduled weeks in advance and I left my job two hours early to make it to my appointment. Upon arrival, I was told that I needed something to eat so I sent my 12-year-old son over to the subway to get me a sandwich. Then, after filling out all the paperwork and eating something, my tattoo artist tells me that they don’t have my picture done and she’s not feeling well.This was very concerning to me. They had two ways of contacting me prior to the appointment, which was scheduled weeks in advance, and they did not contact me ahead of time to reschedule. Even if the artist suddenly wasn’t feeling well, why wasn’t the drawing done? She then told me that she will have my design done by Monday and would email it to me. Monday came and went and no email. So I go in there on Tuesday and tell her that I need to just get my money back because my design still hasn’t been finished and I don’t want to tattoo anymore. I just had too many bad vibes at that point and I didn’t want to do it. Her response is not to apologize for not getting the design done or wasting my time at the appointment, but that they don’t give back deposits. I have tried contacting the owner through calls and emails with no response. So now they won’t give me back my $200 deposit, I didn’t even see a drawing of what could have been, and no one ever returned any of my calls or emails.

Ive gotten several piercings and jewelry changes here and its one of the best places Ive been! 10/10

I got 3 piercings here while visiting Iowa. I was hoping for a fourth, and they explained why an industrial piercing wouldnt be a good idea using photographs of other ears with that piercing vs the shape of my ear, the visual aids really helping me to understand that the look I want wouldnt be possible without damaging my ear.They refuse to do anything harmful, and if a piercing has risks associated with it they will explain them in detail to you beforehand. It was explained to me they sterilize the needles for piercing as well as the jewelry using the same machine as dentists offices, then they double check that its sterile. I was very informed during every step of the process, and after piercing they gave me aftercare instructions, and recommended I follow up with another APP piercing shop one month after getting these piercings as followup.

I experienced Neon Dragon for the first time the other day to get my nostril pierced. Kait & everyone on staff was extremely kind & very professional. I felt extremely safe in their sanitary environment. I’ll be going back to see Kait soon!! Can’t say enough great things...

PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS A PIERCING REVIEW.I got my nose piercing done about a month ago and I was 14 at the time. They are very strict about working with minors and have a good policy about guardian permission. (if you are a minor, take you drivers licensee or any identification) They did an amazing job when it came to a clean, sterilized procedure. Jay-R did my piercing and he was very professional and knowledgeable about aftercare, the nose ring metals, and the process in general. IMPORTANT: I highly highly recommend that you buy the piercing cleaner they sell in their place. It is the most natural and simple cleaner I have found (besides water, which isnt always enough). I was using this for a while and everything was healing really well. Once I ran out, I was lazy and didnt pick up any more. So I used my Claires ear cleaner. Bad mistake. They have a chemical that actually slows down the piercings healing time. This caused me to break out around my nose and get a lump right above my piercing. When I went back in the Neon Dragon to have them look at it, they explained why this happened and how to fix it. Also, to come back in at anytime if I need further assistance.TO SUM THIS UP: Very knowledgeable staff, clean and fun environment, pick up their saline cleaning solution while their, helpful and good service. I would not go anywhere else for piercings or tattoos (for the future ^.^)

Only ever had a piercings done here. I have to say, JR is great. Never had a problem. But if you go to Rob then STEER CLEAR. I had him replace my tongue ring and he didn’t ask the length of my bar just assumed, it was too long and I chipped my tooth. Just recently I had my tragus done and it was a mess. There was a hair within the hole which caused severe irritation, the piercing position was different from my other tragus, and the post I was give was entirely too small. Like I said, if it’s JR then go, he’s great, but I wouldn’t risk it with Rob anymore. But that’s just my 2 cents.

I have been going to neon for two years. I started only getting my tattoos there bit after a couple shoddy piercings at other studios Ive changed all of my piercings and tattoos to neon and couldnt be happier. Theyre always incredibly nice and understanding and helpful when looking at doing piercings and assessing your anatomy.

Decently talented and friendly artists are the pros. The cons outweigh them. My 3in x 1in tattoo with minimal color costed me $80 though, and though they knew it was my first tattoo, I was given ZERO instructions for aftercare. I had a peice of plastic wrap slapped on and a price. There are cheaper and more helpful artists.

This company took my payment of $600 up front on 05/10/20. I had to send the funds through PayPal directly to the artist(Kristin Phillippe). I was assured that due to Covid-19 I would be able to request a refund for health related issues. My physician has provided me with documentation indicating that unfortunately a tattoo at this time would be unsafe for not only me but also the artist. I explained this to Kris and Jason(shop owner?). They refuse to return my money even though they have done nothing to earn that money. Taking my money for no service is stealing! I filed in small claims. Do Not Give These People Your Money before Services are completed. They will take your money!

The piercing staff were amazing and very thorough and professional when we got our 9 year old daughters ears pierced for Christmas this year. They took time to talk to her about the process and explained how to care for her ears.

The design turned out great but had issue when it came down to healing. The blue leeched into the black and part of the tattoo didnt heal like the rest..
