What a warm environment! The women up front are just beautiful and greet you warmly without any judging! The environment is so loving and sweet! I get the vibe that I’m meant to be here! Anna is like so awesome and her charisma is plain to see! Her touch is light and she moves quickly without startling you! I’m very impressed with the way she maneuvers while performing her tasks! Anna is very patient, and so knowledgeable about well Everything!The entire group of women all rock and I recommend these Girls to help you with any needs that U need met!

While this process is still very much ongoing, I am working to fade a large, colorful, tattoo. The staff have been wonderful and I love the atmosphere of being able to relax, joke around, have fun and of course be treated. Yes, the treatment hurts but they provide numbing cream which helps a bit and use techniques to help mitigate large amounts of pain. Im on session 2 currently and may need about 1 or 2 more to be ready for a cover up. Ive had no blistering, burning, or any nasty side effects. The care guide is comprehensive and the techniques used on the day of the appointment have proven very gentle (minus the whole its a lasor zapping your skin so of course it hurts part). My tattoo has responded well to the treatment and I look forward to the outcome! I drive an hour to my appointments and theyre so flexible and feasible for my schedule and needs.

I have been doing intermittent tattoo removal appointments at Innovative Aesthetics for about 6 months now. I see Anna who is absolutely amazing. She is knowledgeable, does a great job, and her demeanor makes patients feel as if they are just hanging out with a friend. The front desk staff are also incredibly kind. I absolutely love Innovative Aesthetics. I typically see either Janet or Claire, who are both amazing and very gentle. I have also seen Reagan for a Hydro Facial, which was fantastic. The receptionists at the front area are always so sweet and welcoming, making the experience as a whole even better. They have great deals allowing you to buy products in bulk, which saves a ton of money in the long run. Their products are also amazing, and if you can manage to get them while they have a promotional deal, then they end up being really reasonable prices, especially for being as high end of products as they are. I love this place and could never imagine going to another Med Spa for as long as IA is around!

Im always amazed at the staff here, including the office staff and the women providing the services. I get used to one person doing my services but sometimes they dont have openings so I have reluctantly gone to others. To my surprise, I have liked every single person Ive worked with. They are so nice and make you feel really good about yourself. Now when I call, I just tell them what I want and let them schedule me with whomever because of the confidence I have in these talented women. Im very impressed with each and every one of them!

Very disappointing (Update at bottom).When I went to pay, the total was well over twice what I had been told.My wife called about booking a treatment for me and was told a specific price. She purchased a gift card for that amount. When she gave me the gift card as a present, I came in for the consultation to be sure she had the right treatment. She did, so I booked the appointment. At that time I confirmed the price and they told me the same number. I also had them look up the gift card to make sure it was in the same amount; it was. So, at this point, we have been told the same number three different times on two different occasions.A week later, I came in for my treatment, which went quite well. I would give the results 4/5 stars. It was almost everything I was hoping for. The tech was wonderful. She was friendly and seemed very well versed in what she was doing.After the treatment I went to pay and was told my bill was over twice what I had been quoted. I had them pull up the gift card and told them that price didnt match the earlier quote. I asked them if there had been a change for some reason.The woman started acting like I was insane oh we dont ever charge that, no one here would tell you that price. There was no real point in arguing, so I said fine and paid the new total. The difference was just under $200Honestly, I probably would have booked the treatment at the final price, but I dont appreciate being given inaccurate information. Also, lots of people dont have the resources to be suddenly surprised with an extra $200 charge.If the receptionist had just apologized for the miscommunication or even just been understanding about it, it still would have been a decent experience. I have worked in customer facing jobs before. Stuff happens. I would have been quite annoyed, but Im not sure Id be writing a bad review. But, the routine where she acted like I was entirely insane, and I couldnt possibly have been told what I was told just wasnt ok. Two different people heard the same price three times.Since then, I have actually received a few compliments on what was done. Rather than me excitedly recommending Innovative Aesthetics, I now tell people how the treatment works wonders, but no matter what they do, they should find a place to go other than Innovative Aesthetics. It really is a shame how they turned a great experience into an awful one.Update:The manager of Innovative Aesthetics reached out to me and said that she had looked into the situation and found that I had been quoted for one kind of treatment and given another. Which was of course going to be the case. That kind of stuff happens, and the same wrong price being repeated multiple times made it clear that it was a price they charge for something.I told her that I understand mistakes happen, that it was mostly about the response when I said there had been a mistake. She offered me another treatment of the same type, which I appreciate. They have plenty of good reviews, and while Im sure they would like to avoid bad ones, it isnt as though my one review would really have caused them much trouble.She also didnt ask me to change the review, though I did raise it after our call, which I found very above board. Its disappointing when you use a service and find out that their reviews are great because they chase down every negative review and try to get it taken down.I am not sure whether I will be back to use the free treatment she offered since Im not sure I need it. I just had that done and they did a very good job. If I do end up taking them up on their offer, I will update again with that experience.

Janet is so fun to talk to about concerns that I’d like to address and providing suggestions. In addition she takes the time to cover the results from last appointment and is so genuine. End of the day I am so happy with my experience and results!

I just had a Halo laser with Dr Pilcher, she is wonderful, great personality and very professional and does a fantastic job of analyzing your skin and knowing the setting of the laser wand that is best for you personally. I’ll be back for sure for other procedures as well as another Halo.

I did a hydrafacial and the girl did an AMAZING job. I was very skeptical to do it after a bad experience at another spa in town but a friend of mine insisted and said I would like it. I’m so glad I listened to her because I LOVED it. The girl was very attentive and caring to what I was telling her and details of what I was looking for. I’m definitely coming back.I also had a consultation for possible laser session for a dark spot removal and the girl offered to try it on the spot for free to see if it would be the right treatment for me without having to pay the entire treatment. And I loved that!!!! Anddd it’s working so most likely I’ll come back once I can see the full effect.

The staff and service providers are all so friendly. (Not all spas can claim this fact!) Youre greeted right away, offered a beverage, and the place smells simply wonderful! They are willing to take the time to explain all procedures, answer questions, give prices, and consult with others in the spa who may have more expertise in an area you are interested in. Going to IA is a treat you give yourself, but you discover once you are there they, too, want to pamper you and be part of the entire treat experience. Client comfort and satisfaction is their #1 concern. I highly recommend them to all.

Back in august my experience with lisa was amazing and she was so pleasant to talk to! I had an appointment on 10/28 where I called and let the front desk know I was running a couple of minutes behind, whoever answer the front desk rudely told me I was going to have yo reschedule it I was 15 minutes late after I told her it was only going to be a couple of minutes. To make matters worse when I got into the appointment I felt very pressured by my esthetician to change from a hydra facial to a peel. It felt like she just wanted to upcharge me into a more expensive experience. I’m very cautious about anything I do with my skin and I was very uncomfortable with the whole experience. My end result was good but everything leading up to it has made me decide not to choose innovative and switch to another med spa

I was terrified at first a few years ago however my 1st esthetician and injector Beth eased me through the whole process.Then I switched to Madeline Pilcher as Beth moved.The atmosphere at Innovative Aesthetics is welcoming, calm and refreshing.The service is amazing I highly recommend them.I have absolutely no complaints other than I wish the pricing was a little less expensive

Can I give more than 5 stars? I make weekly visits to Ideal Protein at Innovative Aesthetics and I always leave happy. The coaching staff for Ideal Protein are ALL top notch, knowledgeable and kind. I have never felt judged about a slip up or pressured to buy more and more product. My coach, Stephanie F, is not just a phenomenal mentor to me and so many others, but shes also a busy mom too. Being a parent can be SO hard sometimes and Stephanie is always there to remind me to give myself some grace and know that Im enough. IP at Innovative Aesthetics is unlike any other weight loss/weight management program that you have ever done before. It works, if you work. 10/10 Highly recommend!!

If I could zero stars I would. I’ve been getting Botox for roughly six years. Recently moving to the Cedar Rapids area, I needed a new injection and tried Innovative Aesthetics Medical Spa.I was over charged twice, even after an in-depth consultation of the Botox I would receive. I was charged almost $1,500 for Botox. Seemed pricey, but fine. Then, less than a month later all the Botox “wore off.” According to the staff, and manager, I just “metabolize” Botox too quickly. They asked me to come back and have some touchups. After an explicit conversation that I would not be charged for a second time if I came back, I decided to give them a second chance.As I’m leaving from the “touch up” Botox, I’m informed that I haven’t paid yet. Which an argument ensues with the front staff that I had to pay another $1,500 for the service they just did. I almost lost my mind. The office staff started to make a scene that I need to pay my bill and with a line of people people behind I was so embarrassed that just I paid. But, not before insisting to talk to a manager, who of course was not available that day. All said and done, they never refunded anything and the manger kept telling me Botox was not working for me. Needless to say, I’ll never go there again ever. I’ve seen two other injectors since and guess what, Botox has worked just fine on me and lasts 3 to 4 months. I think they’re diluting their solutions, unknown to their clients.

I first visited Innovative Aesthetics for hydrafacials/dermaplaning in regards to wedding prep! The staff is always so sweet every-time I visit and helpful with any questions I have! Anel is my go to girl for everything, she is the absolute best!

They have a new laser that targets the blue/teal colors now. The dr is great and is honest with you from the start. If you have a low pain tolerance get the numbing cream other wise it feels like grease or welding sparks hitting the skin.

I had an amazing hydrafacial with red carpet treatment. Highly recommend for anyone needing their pores cleaned out and shrunk. My face has never felt smoother or more hydrated. Loved it! You know Ill be back! ;)

A pleasant and welcoming experience from scheduling your visit to completing your procedure. They seek to educate you fully as to the procedure itself and your discharge care. Make every attempt to provide comfort during the procedure as well as being accessible for questions after hours. I wouldn’t go any place else for my skin care needs.

I have gotten micro needling done by Anel twice and I have loved it both times! It really made a difference on my skin and she is great! Super friendly and fun to talk to!

Very poor experience trying to ask questions about a procedure for my son. I made an appointment for a phone call consultation. I expected a phone call but I got a text instead. I would ask my question then wait over an hour for a response.. then I had to ask if I was going to get a response and got an excuse that they were with a client. I thought I had an appointment?? Then, I was told Id get a response the next day after sending pictures of our concern and never got another response again. I was definitely left feeling unimportant after sharing information and pictures of my sons scarring we are trying to fix. I will never consider calling them again. I am very happy with our experience at Cosmetic Solutions

Received dysport injection, they estimated the effectiveness as 4-6 months, but everyone is different. It lasted 59 days, but I did like the results. It took me several months to return for another session. I brought up that it didnt last that long and I wanted to possibly switch to a different product, as they went over 3 kinds of botox they offer in the first session. Rhonda said that I received the lowest dose she would even give anyone and I needed a higher number of units of dysport this time. She upped my units and injected me and pressed very hard, painfully hard on the injection areas and massaged them, which the first girl did not do that. I noticed with in 2 days that the results of the higher dose were WORSE than before, notified Innovative Aesthetics, they emailed me back and said it actually takes 2 weeks to work and they recommend follow up visits after 2 weeks to get more. It has been about 5 weeks, the effects of the second visit of higher units is non-existent. I have a copy of their take home instructions and it says DO NOT PUT PRESSURE OR MASSAGE the area. They did what they instruct NOT to do and rendered my product ineffective. I will not return to Rhonda.

Dr Pilcher is the best! Super informative and helpful. She recommended PRP for my undereye troughs as a long term benefit vs easy fix of fillers. It has worked incredibly well! Gives you the look of filler, and heals tissue over time rather than dissolving! Totally recommend if you’re looking to invest in a long term solution to collagen/volume loss.

Rhonda has been giving me my botox for years. I have had it done poorly in the past at other practices, so now I won’t get it done anywhere else. I have also had a laser light treatment to remove age spots and it was miraculous! This practice has great staff that have been there for years and have excellent bedside manner.

I was in Innovative last week and I got Botox for the first time! I also got my second Skin Brightening Peel. Beth did such an amazing job explaining everything to me. I had always been hesitant about Botox in the past, and what opened me up to the experience was how Beth explained it to me. She made the experience very comfortable and it was pretty much painless. I dont know if Google is going to let me gush on long enough to tell you how much Rhonda has changed my life. Theres no other way to put it... I have random makeup Artistry business in Cedar Rapids for over a decade and I knew it was time to start taking action in preserving my face!.. the face of my business. No pun intended. Lol. I have a boat load of premature aging as I always had poor vision as a child and had very very deep 11 lines in between my eyebrows. like most women as the days turned into years every day looking in the mirror was sort of followed with a deep sigh... Wishing more than anything I could turn back the hands of time. No amount of slathering retinol or vitamin c was going to help me at this point... Rhonda made me feel literally like her soul sister as she listen to endlessly to all of the things that I wish that I could change about my aging.... I was feeling pretty discouraged due to the fact that I have spent over $300 and Botox at another salon in town and got what I would call very mediocre results.... For someone with my budget that is not the kind of money I can just go throwing around....I saved and saved knowing that the wrinkles I was trying to alleviate are the strongest in my face.. her confident demeanor mixed with her perfect humor filled me with excitement as she promised me my issues were reversible! I was still skeptical- hence my expensive other experience in cr... But like MAGIC she use dysport in my face and the pinpricks felt so light almost like angel kisses haha. No but seriously it didnt even hurt or burn or anything as it had in a previous time for me at another establishment.... Within 3 days there was major changes to my face! I thought to myself even if this is the only results I get I would be absolutely over the moon! I am even more proud to say that at the two-week point MY FACE IS LITERALLY FLAWLESS!!! I dont care how vain people might feel this review is it almost brings me to tears how happy I am with my appearance at the moment! none of this would have been possible without Rhonda and the entire wonderful staff at innovative....I truly believe that they listened and care about their customers and Rhonda went above and beyond to make sure that I was fully satisfied. I began going here because as Im aging Ive developed brown patches on my face. Anel Anaya explained what was causing it and suggested starting a daily facial regimen using their products. So I took her suggestion and bought a few items. I started the regimen and now my face looks so much better. I get compliments all the time now. I will continue to go here and even plan to have the demaplaning done eventually.

This is a professional, elegant, and sophisticated spa/business to receive cosmetic services and dietitian advice/concealing. Currently I am getting a few tattoos removed, four to be exact. Erica Nygaard the ARNP, is amazing! She made me feel comfortable while I didnt know how the Laser Tattoo Removal procedure worked or how it would affect my body. Erica will listen to you and give you her full attention, knowledge, and time 24/7! If youre not going to Erica at Innvoative Aesthetics for Laser Tattoo Removal, youre not doing it right! This is a safe, effective, and clean way to remove a tattoo. Be prepared for it to take time, but the results will be well worth the wait. Erica became apart of my journey to my cosmetic goals, and I wouldnt want it any other way.Personally, I have not yet participated in the dietitian services. However, Dusty Swehla will take care of you like family. While being an Ideal Protein Diet Consultant, she also is an effective Office Manager. While I had a minimal dispute with Innovative Aesthetics, she made me feel comfortable to share my problem and not feel like I was being an inconvenience to her or the business. Once Im done with my laser tattoo removal, I plan to go to Dusty to get dietician advice! Needless to say, I FULLY AND HIGHLY RECOMEND INNOVATIVE AESTHETICS!
