Employees know what theyre doing, the one who did our piercing had done one for us before. and as helpful, efficient, and knowledgeable she is..... her enthusiasm for being there seems to be lacking. Prices on piercings are really great, tattoo quotes always seem to be WAAAAAAAAAY too high tho

We brought our two year old to get her ears pierced here and highly recommend them! One of the few places I could find that would pierce her. They made the process easy and kept her distracted so she barely reacted! So far healing great with no issues.

My mom and I came in for two upper earlobe piercings after hearing good things about wild side! Megan was so nice and did it well and fast! I high recommend her for piercings!

A group of 3, including myself, one chose a naval, one had an eyebrow, and I chose to get my nips pierced. Jazmyn was our piercer, and she was great the whole way through. Everything was great while we were in the shop, and everything has gone great afterward. She took her time and made sure everything looked right and was cleaned up correctly afterward.

Three of us went in and got inked by Syd. We got similar matching tattoos. She has such a light touch. My friends special needs daughter wanted to watch and asked a lot of questions which Syd answered. She was so patient and kind! The arr turned out awesome. I cant wait to go back the next time I visit from Lincoln, Ne.

I had the tattoo artist MK give me two tattoos that my 5-year-old daughter drew and she did an amazing job. Highly recommend you get a tattoo from MK. Shes easy on the eyes too.

I have been in here with friends but never got a piercing till today from them. Loved Brittany! She made it a simple easy process.

Sticky did an amazing Oh symbol tattoo for me as a walk-in client to the shop recently . He made me feel very comfortable and took much care to make sure the placement of the tattoo was what I wanted . I really appreciate this .

“Blue” if you want to call him that is terrible, terrible terrible. Terrible artist, terrible person, just a terrible human being. Nobody get a tattoo from “blue”, he’ll change your design last minute and call tattoo you wanted stupid. Stay away!! So many better places and so much better work and artist elsewhere

There is No other place I will go for my tattoos! I have had 4 different artist and each one has done an AMAZING job! The atmosphere here also is very laid back which is awesome!

My fiancé got a tattoo here, We were a walk in and he wanted a tribal semi colon. The staff was very nice and patient with any questions he had and helped him figure out a placement and size for the tat. I was so impressed with the artist that did his tattoo, the line work was so clean and the whole tattoo exceeded my expectations. He also was super friendly and kept us entertained through the process. It was done pretty quick too! I even scheduled my own appointment to get a tat of my own from here because I was so impressed with the work. The prices are amazing as well.

I went yesterday and showed a picture of what I wanted. The artist said he can top that and drew me up a photo, but never really asked me which one I wanted- and looking back I think we were on different pages.Also felt like he didn’t have any patience when putting the design on.Overall the tattoos always turn out amazing.

Quick and painless ear piercing for my daughter. It is healing very nicely and she has had no issues. Price for service is hard to beat in the area.

MK is my go-to tattoo artist. She is not only a great tattoo artist, she really likes her clients and her job and it shows! Would recommend MK 10 out of 10 times.

It is kind of a shock when you realize that the piercing table is in the center of the room and everyone is watching you, but the piercer, Megan, was an absolute delight. She was open, welcoming to all the piercees, she was non-judgmental, polite and kind, she even made my baby smile.

I got my double cartilage done here, everything was fine so I thought, the night after I got my piercing I realized that my ear was swollen, didn’t feel right. Two days later I landed in the ER with the nastiest infection, had to get the new piercings removed which was almost impossible to do with how much my ear swelled. I have never been in so much pain in my life, nevertheless from a ear piercing. Make sure they actually clean your piercing and needle if you do go here

Took our 6 yo. To get ears pierced. Everyone in the shop was so nice and chatty to her. She was so excited! Meghan was so fast our daughter didnt flinch. I would highly recommend this place for any little one considering a piercing. Staff was hands down incredible!! Thank you again Meghan. First grade here we come.

I’ve gotten 16 piercings between two visits in 2017 and 2021. Both experiences were great. They were very clean, efficient and quick. I took my 4 month old today to get her lobes pierced and couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Megan is amazing at what she does. She is professional and knows what to do and does it quick which made this momma feel better! I won’t go anywhere else for piercings!

Had both of my ears pierced mid August. They got me in right before closing and did an excellent job, especially for the great price of $40, compared to Iowa City shops, you wont find any place that will do less than $100.10/10 Wildside Tattoo and Body Piercing.

Its a decent place. Piercings are cheap, Megan is great at what she does. Ive taken my son to her for eat piercings. I dont trust the other piercers as much. I got a tattoo twice, the first guy was very inappropriate and kind of rude. Tattoo is blurry. The second guy was awesome personality wise but that tattoo is also blurry. They were both apprentices and it was many years ago.

I went in today to get my navel pierced and met with Jazmyn one of the piercers. I can not put in words how great those people are. After I got my navel pierced i started to feel really light headed my vision was blurring and voices muffled, I was sweating profusely and mind you I have never once blacked out or came even close to it so I didn’t realize what was happening at first but luckily Jazmyn immediately came to the rescue and shouted to her co- workers that I was going to pass out and the next thing I know I was sat down in a chair with a man behind me giving me a pop and Jazmyn fanning me down. They kept asking me if I was alright and to keep taking small sips of my pop and eventually I walked out just fine. I don’t know who the man behind me was but I want to thank him to for being so calm and giving me the pop it really did help lol. Thank you again for being so kind and not to mention my piercing looks amazing!.

Recieved my first helix piercings here after not having my ears pierced since i was a kid at Claires. Walked in a little nervous and unsure as I had never been in a tatto parlor but staff was super friendly and helpful and quickly got me set up. Prices are great and the piercing was just walk in and didnt take more than 15 mins.

Got a group tattoo done with my two friends by zing. she was super nice and professional by answering all of our questions. she sanitized in between our 3 tattoos and had great music lol. her work was amazing and we were all super happy with our tattoos!

Makayla did my fine line sternum tattoo and I love it! It was great working with her!

My friend and I went here to get some piercings. I was getting my lobes done and my friend wanted to see if they would be able to get their septum re-done since a piercer at Leftys Tattoos pierced it too low. When we went in, we didnt really know what to do since neither of us had been there before and it was my first time being in a tattoo parlor. One of the staff asked us what we needed and I told him I was wanting to get my lobes pierced. He asked for my ID and had me fill out some paper work. He had a very sarcastic sense of humor and was cracking jokes a lot, which made me laugh. I could see how some people would see that as being rude, but to me it was obvious that was just his personality. I got to pick out my earrings and the lady that pierced my ears did a great job. She even measured where she put the dots to make sure they were even. The whole process was very quick and it was overall a fun experience. Meagan helped my friend with their septum and she did a great job piercing as well. After a while I did have to go back in because I wasnt able to loosen my piercings like the piercer instructed me to do, but she was really nice about it and helped me without hesitation. She told me to use saline solution to clean the piercings and so far they have been healing perfectly. My friend and I will definitely come here for any future piercings and maybe tattoos.

I took my daughter in to get her nose pierced! We didnt have an appointment but only had to wait about 10 minutes to get the piercing- the young man doing the piercing took his time, looked at his markings from several angles to make sure he was going to put it in the perfect spot!He put on fresh gloves, sterilized his equipment, cleaned my daughters nose & quickly put in the stud! It looks nice! It was also reasonably priced!I think we were there only about 25 minutes & everyone we encountered were very friendly!

Customer service was on point. They could see that i was nervous and made me feel real comfortable. That I loved and will be recommending them to anyone that I know. Also their prices were incredible as well. Its been 2 weeks and my nose has healed up just fine 🙂

Super quick and friendly! a little hectic inside, and not super clean - all 3 of my piercings got infected, but my ears are particularly sensitive. 1 was crooked and refused to heal, had to remove and eventually repierce. prices are super cheap though! I definitely got what I paid for & dont regret it lol. Cash only but there is an ATM inside

The staff was absolutely incredible! I had gotten a nose piercing a coupe months ago and been into that same piercer (Release in IC) because it never healed. They kept telling me to keep washing it. When I went into Wildside, the staff was so sweet and told me that my piercing was all messed up. They replaced it no charge right there. Stellar hospitality. I definitely recommend!!

If I could give this place a 0 stars I would. We called and said a walk in was fine, we went in and was made to wait 45 minutes as the artist never actually came out to talk to us. We come back and are greeted by an extremely rude and condescending man. When explaining the simple small number and small bird tattoos we wanted he said that it would never work. He then proceeded to ask us if we even had any tattoos and knew what we were talking about, and then said that he hopes we’re not going into an important job field because we would be turned down for future jobs for our tattoos, when he was covered head to toe in giant color tattoos. He made us feel stupid, and practically made fun of us the whole time and sounded like he was absolutely drunk or high. Will only be going back to my trusted artist, and never back to this unprofessional environment. Very disappointed.

Amazing tattoos and piercings my nose healed in less than 2 weeks. Prices are the greatest. Never have had a piercing I was unhappy with. All piercers are polite and respectful. I always look forward to going in and getting something new

Every time I’ve gone to Wildside for a piercing or issue (nose, nipple, treatment, replacements), they have been quick, friendly, helpful, and relatively painless! Their prices are phenomenal compared to other piercing shops, and I’ve never had a problem with any piercings or jewelry I’ve gotten there. Also, their piercing selection is phenomenal and they answer any questions I have. Highly recommend!!

I have used Wildside for my piercings for the last 3 years. Specifically Jazmyn. Ive never had a bad experience and never has the staff been rude to me. Ive even come back to Wildside just to get my piercings switched out (or I took them out and couldnt get them back in LOL) and Jazmyn is more than willing to help me-- at no charge other than the jewelry itself. She even helps me if I cant get my jewelry back in. (I always give her a tip of course for her time.) Shes never rude or ill tempered.I cant review their tattoos simply because I use another shop for those. Nothing against WS but I have just always used ND for my tats for many, many years.But as for piercings they are my go-to every time! No rude staff and if the piercer is busy someone typically greets me and asks if Ive been helped yet.

Amazing, Johnny is wonderful, and only gets better with every tattoo....cant wait for next appointment in September to work on my sleeve.

I got my 4 year old daughters ears pierced here. Megan and her mom did it at the same time. It was quick, they were super sweet and caring. They look amazing and we’re at 5 weeks post, and they’ve healed nicely. Definitely recommend them for a piercing.

Great experience! Took my mom, who has limited mobility and theres a handicap friendly entrance and layout. We were walk ins, and just wanted small matching memorial pieces. They were friendly folks who made the whole thing super chill and happy. I definitely recommend!

Tattoo artist Mario Ruiz did this sick tattoo. If you need a talented artist to get it right hit him up. This was a cover job he did and he nailed it.

Megan was absolutely marvelous, I would say it was quick and painless but it is a new piercing. However, it feels like a pinch and was done well and in a clean environment. Great customer service, and after we got our 4 new piercings they made sure we knew how to keep each one clean!

I went in to get my nose pierced. There was a group of people ahead of me that all got like 5 piercings done which made me feel better because they wouldnt be getting that many if it hurt right? Megan was super nice, friendly, and fast. The one thing I noticed is she didnt mark where it would go or ask about the placement, she just did it. It turned out great and I was actually Happy she did it because I wanted to get it over with 😂 overall great place, clean, fast and would definitely recommend Megan!

Do NOT give Wildside your business, your money or your time. The workers refuse to take constructive criticism. When Megan (The girl who pierced my 17 year old girlfriends bridge) was confronted about giving an uneven piercing, Megan proceeded to say that my girlfriend had no idea what she was talking about and that the piercing was fine.My girlfriend calmly tried to explain that she needed it removed because she wasnt happy with it, and Megan refused to take it out still. They then continued to say that she was on drugs and was crazy, simply because they disagreed with the fact that her nose piercing was uneven. They also threatened me saying that if I didnt leave the store, that they would beat me up right where I stand for simply defending my girlfriends opinion in a non hostile manner. They followed us out the store after we were told to leave, and when we left, they continued to threaten me and my girlfriend. Wildside is VERY unprofessional, unsafe, unfair and downright rude. The workers are pretentious, arrogant and take any form of criticism to heart. If I could leave a 0 star, I would.

Ive gotten 3 different piercings here and had a great experience every time! Jazmyn did my last two and I cant believe how fast Ive healed. Would recommend this place for any piercings youre looking to get.

It was my best friends 30th birthday and she wanted her lip pierced. We walked in and the staff were courteous and knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor! She was extremely happy with her piercing and we were all done in less than a half hour! I highly recommend Wildside!

Unprofessional and rude. Their piercing quality is whack and their staff is egotistical. They’re aggressive , won’t take criticism over the placement of something going into your BODY, and go as far as touching/ restraining you. Would rather get pierced in the backroom of a strip club using a push pin and ice.

I got a couple of dermal piercings on my face and the girl that pierced me did a wonderful job and my daughter got her nose and her belly button done by the same woman. It was wonderful!

I went in and got my nose pierced and also a triple forward Helix in my ear. Megan told me to use witch hazel 3-4 times a day and it got severely infected and my entire ear swelled up and looked like cauliflower ear. Went back in 4 days after I got pierced and they said to just use water to clean ear. Well the top piercing was engulfed into my cartilage and I ended up pulling it out through the back. Now I have 2 forward Helix piercings and one has lost the gem. It has been one week since I got pierced. Extremely disappointed and will never go there again.

I am 15 & got a cartilage (helix) piercing here, although the interior was intimidating (i mean im only 15) i felt very comfortable. The staff was soooo friendly, experienced & helpful with all questions. I swear i was in & out within 10 minutes, the piercing itself did not hurt & at such a great price. Im coming back for other piercings very soon! Completely recommend!!!

Ive gotten 4 different ear piercings and a naval piercing done here by Megan! My first one I passed out unexpectedly and she knew exactly what to do! She is very nice and reassuring. Also, she makes the piercings hurt less by doing it very quick and easy. I will definitely come back for more and reccomend it to anybody wanting a piercing! Go to Megan, shes great😊

I went to Wild Side for my 3rd piercing. I had my tongue done, Im not sure if the girls name but she was awesome. She was very quick and my pain level was minimal. Also all the staff was extremely helpful and attentive! Will definitely be returning! Thank you Wild Side!

My sister in law were in cedar rapids visiting family and we accidently found wild side. Im glad we did great service friendly great sense of humor. I went in June to schedule an appointment for a tattoo, paid the guy $20 and my number and name and told me he would text me about a date. Its December now and never been contacted. Never even asked for an ID. Robbed me of $20. Young girl at front desk with dark hair is rude and acted like she was above everything and everyone. Look into another company if you dont want to be robbed and want an inviting community

I am planning on getting my tenth tattoo at Wildside and have ALWAYS had a positive experience. Josh OConnor does all my work and he has proven himself over and over to me. He is courteous, professional, fair with pricing, and very loyal to his regular customers. The shop is clean and the staff are always helpful to me. As long as John OConnor or one of his family members runs this establishment, I will keep coming back.

We didnt have an appointment but they got us right in. Megan Valentine pierced my daughter and Is noses. The process was quick. Shes definitely a professional and we barely felt a thing.

Ive had 10 piercings done by Brandon and loved it! he was always gentle with me, made sure I was comfortable with what was going on, and that everything was going the way I wanted. I went in there after I couldnt get my forward helix back in the right way and a woman was there to help me, but was kind of rude and as I wasnt expecting it to hurt, when it did I told her and she didnt do anything about it nor apologize for hurting me in an easy situation. then only 2 weeks after that, the piercing fell out of my ear and I was frustrated she obviously didnt put it back on tight enough. If you ever want to go there for a piercing, make sure Brandon is there and you should have no troubles!!!

Got my septum pierced here last week and I lost one of the balls which wasn’t wildside’s fault but I went to a place in wisconsin to get a replacement ring and help me fix it and they told me I should punch the piercer for putting such a small ring in...... I bought a larger one off of him and he helped me replace it. They did ask me if I wanted the smaller or larger one so it was partially my fault.Otherwise I’m satisfied. Everything was clean and fast— walk in was simple.

I love Wildside. I’ve gotten numerous piercings by Megan, and they’ve all healed phenomenally. She’s so great at helping me pick the right jewelry for my body, and I won’t go to anyone else for my piercings!

I went in to get a daith piercing on 10/04/2021. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. They said they use only quality surgical steel for piercings. Cool. After 2 weeks, irritation bumps started to form. I was using warm compresses and cleaning with a saline solution, but the bumps got bigger. I was told from a friend (with a lot of piercings) it was caused by the type of metal in the earring so I went to another studio that is know for having quality jewelry. Upon the consultation with the new piercer, C, she said that the daith piercing was too shallow. Her opinion, along with other professionals in this studio, was to take it out, let it heal, and have it redone. Overall, I would recommend getting simple piercings such as lobes or a nose done at Wild Side, but for anything else, I would recommend going elsewhere.

4/2/16. ~ I had some pretty old and awful tattoos covered by Mr.OConnor today. Absolutely amazing cover work! I will forever be grateful and impressed with this shop. Excellence in customer service and integrity ! Definitely good people.

I got my cartilage double pierced here, and my daughter got her nose pierced here as well. The staff is always friendly, and professional. They do a great job every time. Ill be coming back, and I would recommend them to anyone

I have gotten both of my tattoos done at Wildside, with a 9 year gap between the two sessions. Both times I was extremely happy with the results. (this is a review of my second visit) From when I first went in for the consult everything moved very smoothly and I was stoked when I was able to sign off on the final design. I had my appointment about 3 weeks after the final art was approved. Johnny was my artist and he was nothing but professional from start to finish. This was just my second tattoo and the session lasted nearly 7 hours but Johnny allowed me to take a couple breaks along the way and constantly checked on me to make sure I was comfortable throughout the process.This is a family business and you feel at home and welcome by the entire staff when you are there. HUGE thanks to Tammy, Johnny, and everyone else at Wildside for knocking my design out of the park and making the experience a great one!!! Could not be more happy and will not go anywhere else.

The atmosphere is amazing and laid back ..I have been here multiple times for piercings but today I received a tattoo from blue and it is beautiful I couldn’t have asked for a better tat ...I will be making another appointment soon to get tatted again....everyone was nice and the place is very clean...no worries there! I walked in on a Friday evening, and they got me in right away for an upper lobe peircings. They were friendly, professional, and did an amazing Job.

I really wanted a Daith piercing but was scared😳 to do it, read horror stories. I decided to go for it anyway. Megan did an excellent job, she was very fast and its been healing nicely.❤ I plan on going back to get more from her.

I cant rave enough about this place. I even took my best friend to get her tongue pierced as I got my nose done. I travel an hour and some minutes for this location. Its my go-to! Super fun, Super fast, Super delicate. These individuals are passionate about their jobs and they get it done right and thats that. I would not trade this place for any place in town! Went in to get my tragus pierced, and I love it! I told the piercer that my ears are sensitive, even to surgical steel, and he recommended titanium, and helped me pick a cute labret.Always a great experience there.

I got my dolphin bites done here and can honestly say, Im not impressed. I also lost the piercing I just had bought because it wasnt tightened enough. So now, I had to take out both piercings! Great! The staff was either rude or admittedly awkward/creepy while changing my jewelry. But if youre looking for a cheap price and a quick piercing, this is the right place for you.

The people at wildside where extremely rude to me. They took my nose ring out after I told them it was in the wrong place. I asked for my money back and they said no. They got the manager she came over and said that every piercer will say its in the wrong spot because its competition and it is in the right spot. She said she will not give me my money back. I told them I wish they would have talked to me and told me I couldnt get my money back before they took it out. They said they can put it back in so they did. They re pierced my nose 3 different times before they just shoved th ring in the old hole. Do not go here for piercings. My friend was going to get a tattoo here but w.e are not doing business here anymore

I have a comfortable, welcoming, informative experience every time. Everyones laid back, they all do amazing work and piercings are quick. I highly recommend going here for anything from first tattoo, to first piercing or even if its not your first time. And the owner Johnny does GREAT portraits, great any tattoo work but if youre wanting a portrait of any kind I recommend Johnny. Their prices are more than reasonable. My tattoo still looks great, and its been going on 6 years and the colors havent faded to much.

I was able to get in and out within about a half hour or so. Megan was extremely professional and was able to perform the PA piercing relatively fast. With any piercing, there was the initial pain, but the PA was more painful than having both nipples pierced. But, so far, there is no after-heat in the piercing as there was with the nipples. (those were done two years ago, for the 3rd time) and not here, but out of state.Again, Megans demeanor was awesome and I highly recommend her for piercings. Thanks Megan. :-)

I went to get my ear pierced and for weeks, it was completely infected. When I went in and showed them, they said I was keloiding and that I should just keep it clean and let it heal. I have scars, I never keloid. In fact, it was an infection starting on my piercings due to the material they use to pierce ears which is nickel. I talk to a lot of people and nickel is a high allergen in a lot of people. I ended up going to Neon Dragon and getting sterling silver and real diamonds so that my ear had a better chance of healing. Come to find out, it was pierced completely wrong. The angles weren’t straight at all which was a big contributor to my infection. One of the piercings was at an upward angle, hitting the piercing right above it. The other one you have to maneuver through the hole in order to get it through. I ended up having to take the bottom one out because it wouldn’t heal, and I’ve had it pierced for 9 months. Continuously getting infected, and just couldn’t heal due to the angle. I’m very disappointed in Wildside and their piercing. Despite them being more affordable, you really have to consider what they’re putting in your skin and how accurately they’re executing their craft. I would much rather pay more money for a piercing that will heal correctly and last forever than pay less and cost myself months of pain, headache and disappointment.

I have gone here for my belly button and two helix piercings along with a tattoo and every time has been a good experience. The prices are lower than other shops in the area and they are a super clean and safe space.

I went to get my nose pierced, was done by Brandon. Although I liked how fast it was it, he didn’t mark it and it ended up extremely crooked to the point I couldn’t wear stud nose rings. It also got extremely infected I had to go to urgent care and they had to put me on antibiotics to get rid of the infection caused by the piercing.

I got my nipples pierced here forever ago. I got captive rings on them when I did. For all of my research on piercings and piercing shops Ive done over the years I found that the more knowledge they have the less they hurt. I have many piercings and these ones are definitely the worst done. I recently switched them from their original jewelry to something straight. One is very crooked. Not happy. But I also feel like theres nothing I can do at this point.

Went in to get my first peircings ever. Megan did my ear lobes and my right nostril. The facility was immaculately clean, and everyone working was extremely professional. Thank you Megan, Im absolutely loving the peircings.

Great experience at wildside! Impulsively decided to pierce my nose and they take walk-ins and are open until 8pm so it was very convenient. Brandon was super helpful and made the process super easy and painless! So happy!

What a joke. I went here a couple years ago and paid a guy 25 bucks to design a tattoo for me. They didnt take a card, they made me pull out cash at the atm. Weeks go by and I never heard anything back. I called in and they said they dont know who I am and they have zero record of me. They asked if I remember the artists name, of course I dont! I insisted that I was there, they put some guy on the phone who basically told me that they tried calling me a long time ago and they couldnt reach be. My phone is always on people! I never as so much as lapsed in coverage in 8yrs! Plus, its glued to my hip. They went looking for the art but never found anything. Whatever though. 25 bucks is what i paid to find out theyre ignorant. Im glad thats all it was. Word of advise, develop systems for your business. Dont just wing it wild side!

God this place is awsome!! They do their piercings so fast and efficiently. I have gotten 2 piercings (my neval and my bridge) and every time I have gone in and out in under 15 minutes.

Will attempt to assault a minor over asking to get an uneven piercing removed. Just imagine any other requests that hurt their ego. Do not go here it is an unsafe environment to be in, and to trust your body with.

Bart did an absolutely fantastic job on my first tattoo, people compliment me all the time.on it. The only reason I gave two stars though is because the chick at the counter was super rude. I went to schedule another appointment a couple weeks after and she was once again extremely rude to me. I told her that Id just go to Leftys and she just laughed at me.

I went in the other day as a single female alone to get a new tattoo. A one word tattoo approximately 3 inches long by half inch high cost me 60 bucks. A male friend walked in there 3 days later and got a tattoo going down his entire forearm, and it only cost him fifty bucks. The worst part is my tattoo is crooked yet when I told the artist doing the work it didnt look right to me he questioned me with Im the professional I know what Im doing you need to trust me. After going around to different Studios to see how to get this repaired the first thing everyone told me was wow that is really slanted did you mean for it to be that way? Finally I went back into the Tattoo Studio to see if they would offer a resolution after talking with Tami through email. Johnny was a complete a****** to me saying that it looks straight to him and there wasnt nothing wrong with it even after I laid a piece of paper on it that clearly showed how off this tattoo was all he wanted to do was argue. The tattoo artist that did my tattoo sat in the chair the entire time. It was almost like a good old boys club. In my right mind I would not recommend this tattoo studio to anyone who wants a fair price and even correct work. I definitely wouldnt recommend a single female walking in alone to get a tattoo from the studio because youre going to be screwed.

I went to Wildside for the first time to get my nose pierced. It is the cleanest/most sanitized tattoo parlor I have ever been in. All of the workers were AMAZING!!! The pricing is the most reasonable around. I highly recommend Wildside!

Went here for an anniversary tattoo, the environment was great and the people were friendly but the work on my tattoo is still somewhat an eyesore.After showing it to multiple family members and friends for an honest review, it only further proves my point on how the lines of the tattoo were not equally straight across like it should for lettering. Considering the tattoo was on my wrist, I was willing to come in for a second session with the same tattoo artist based off of their policy for a redo.Sadly, the tattoo artist did not succeed in making the lettering look straight across during the redo session. Even though the tattoo is not matched in height, the tattoo artist was friendly and was tipped 20% of the cost as well for the redo.If you were to look across from my point of view, you will see that the lettering of the tattoo is going across wavy and not straight across.

I have had 5 piercings done here and they have all gotten infected and 2 of them were crooked. Needless to say I don’t have those 4 piercings anymore. I just wish they would step up the quality of their jewelry because I have 2 other piercings done by two other places and neither of those have gotten infected so I know it’s not me. Also, I had my web pierced by them and within two days it fell out and I swallowed the piercing!!!!

Were helpful with me getting my piercing. And they helped when I was having problems with mines by giving me longer bars for free. It was really helpful because they helped relieve some of the pain. I plan on going back to get my belly button pierced when I go back to Iowa

Employees are rude and unprofessional. They pierce people without washing their hands. They don’t sanitize the skin before piercing and then on top of that my septum healed wrong and they’ll say it was your fault and you didn’t take care of it. I do not recommend this place if you want a clean professional piercing.

I only got 1 piercing which was my lip. It was super quick and easy. But i had suspicions that they went through something important in my lip. Im not 100% though. But it hurt for a long time which I dont imagine it being their fault. It took longer to heal then they said because o got infections. Overall i wish they would have told me how to deal with infections but everything else was great.

At firat I was a bit skeptical about the place, but me and my friends were treated very well, great girls that work there, friendly and funny. Clean environment for piercings. Honestly the piercing I got here was the only piercing that DIDN’T HURT AT ALL!!

I got snake bites on a Friday. Before doing them they asked me if the dots looked okay and I pointed out that no one looked off. He did his thing and marked it again and just went on and without asking me and my right side went in no problem. My left side hurt bad i got instant hot flashes so I wasnt trying to be there if I got sick. Saturday morning its swollen and way off but my right side is fine no problems. I call they say its the swelling and pretty much they do t care call Monday. Its Sunday I woke up to my left side swollen and infected and they are closed. Not cool when I called them and said hey somethings wrong Ill see what they say tomorrow.

I got my nose pierced here and they pierced it with an 18 g which is way to big and I got a big bump around it until I changed my jewelry to a size 20. They also didn’t pierce my belly button in the correct position the second time and it was crooked.

This is where I’ve had every single piercing done on me (just ears and my nose) and they have the best prices in town. It’s usually very quick and the piercers do a good job.

A few months ago I went in to get a tattoo, from the beginning they didn’t even remember the tattoo I was going in for, after a while it was time, we did the whole placement and got prepared, I never once mention for my tattoo to get shaded, I asked for the outline, nor did they ask me if I wanted it shaded, they just did it!!! I’ve never went back for another tattoo!!

I got my belly button pierced here by a girl and the whole piercing turned out slightly sideways and after I got it pierced she didnt tell me what with or how to clean it and I got a really bad infection. I also got my Daiths pierced here by the same girl and she put them in different spots in my ear and theyre now uneven and have large bumps in my cartilage on the top and bottom next to the ring from pressure trauma.

What can I say about Wildside Tattoo? How about a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. How about skilled professionals with pride in their workmanship, and who listen to what you want. This was my third tattoo and im sorry i didnt get the first two at Wildside. Johnny OConnor is a skill artist who makes your idea a reality. I went there thinking this was the greatest shop in Cedar Rapids because of the owners reputation (Johnny). Well to my surprise Johnny was booked for months. The girl at the counter tells me they have an artist named Chris Murry that is really into doing they type of tattoo I wanted, I was told if I wanted the best in this style he was it!. I booked an appointment 2 weeks out, left him tons of picks and even a helmet (custom helmet my brother owned when he passed away) I also left instructions I wanted a realistic picture of my brother wearing his helmet as a side profile with his head turned to the front for the face to be exposed and shoulder, arm and hand on the throttle of his bike. when I got there no sketch had been made we had to wait over an hour for him to pull a picture of a helmet from the internet and trace it on to a stencil thats all he came back with! no face no shoulder, arm, hand nothing just a friggin helmet! he proceeds to tell me it will take him to long to do all I want he has other appointments to keep so the helmet is all he has time to do. He also tells me he does not do faces or any kind of portrait. If I want that done I have to wait for an appointment with Johnny because ALL he does is TRACE tattoos! So I am rather upset waiting all this time to get someone so unprepared and unqualified! I just tell him if he can not give me the tattoo I am paying for then we should just scrap it. He tells me, and I quote good I really didnt feel like doing it anyway So me and my wife prepare to leave and I ask for my deposit and sketch fee back, Chris laughs at me and tells me I have to pay to waste his time! OMG! he wasted my time so as I begin to throw my fit I am offered half my money back I accept it and leave. (because my wife hates me making a scene.) That was my experience at wildside! Johnny may be the best but I will never know =(

They did not require staff to where mask. Did not properly sanitize between people. The piercer was helpful and kind. The lady at the card table was rude and disrespectful. She acted like she hated her job.
