This place is fabulous! The front staff was friendly & knowledgeable. The artist, Reggie, took his time to understand & make sure he created the design, placement & colors that I would love. The shop is very clean & he he showed me the new needles that would only be used on me. My tattoo is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! A big added bonus is his insight, wisdom & thoughtful conversation. I have only high praise for Inkhart Tattoo & Body Piercing! The ONLY place, the ONLY artist Id choose for my tattoos!

It was nice when I went but after the appointment was the nightmare . I got both my nostrils and a Medusa piercing in my lip . It looked good but my nostrils never healed properly so I had to remove them and heal , in order to pierce them properly. My lip piercing was not pierced correctly and constantly would get caught on my teeth . I also had to get this pierced correctly at a different shop. Be careful and cautious when u go here .

I made an impulsive decision to come get my septum re-pierced and a small tattoo. I’m so glad I did. Pablo was very friendly and did my piercing very smoothly. Khya was also very friendly and knocked my tattoo out quickly. I love both my tattoo and piercing. It was an overall great experience!

JP pierced my belly and it didnt hurt not one bit!! He was super chill and assured me that it wouldnt be at all what I thought, and he was absolutely correct!! Piercing took all of 5 mins and he was very precise!! Would highly reccommend! Thanks Again, JP!!

Got a double bridge piercing today by Pablo. The shop is what you would want a shop to be, people in the seats and artists at work. Pablo took his time and I was confident he understood what I wanted and lined me up good considering my nose has been broken several times. Will definitely go back this shops got talent

This business is professional, the quality is superb, and Ive never had a bad experience here. Quality is consistent which matters. Reggie is definitely the epitome of a phenomenal artist. His ability to draw anything and help bring your vision together is a plus. It helps that he will let you know if something wont work instead of just trying to get money. He cares about the work he completes and this is why I am a loyal customer here.

I go to no one else but Rob. Hes done at least 98% of the tattoos on me, and I refer all of my friends to him. Great customer service skills!

Its a nice little studio with good customer service. They were really cool about taking me when a spot opened up due to cancellation. Robert did my piece and he was thorough, professional, listened to my suggestions and was really attentive to detail. Ill be going back in a few months and Ill definitely be asking for Robert again.

I would give a 5/5 if I could, but my friend who came with had a totally different experience than me.I had my lobes and cartilage done by Pablo and he is a phenomenal person! So kind, encouraging, thorough and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole experience! I highly recommend and please remember to leave him a tip.As for my friend, she had booked a septum appointment. We both came in, paid for the services, but when I was called back, Pablo said they were out of septum supplies. The receptionist said she forgot and had to give my friend a refund. The receptionist was not helpful at all and looked like she had better places to be. She was playing a horror movie so loud, my friend and I had to yell to talk to each other.My recommendation, see Pablo anyway. Hes the absolute best and I will be going back to him for more in the future. I would avoid booking online for facial piercings and call instead to make sure they have what they need.

My son recently went as a walk in for his first tattoo a few weeks ago. However, some practices leave me a bit worried. The tattoo came out beautifully, it was done by Rob. My only critique would be to show the change of needle and sanitation process in front of the clients. As a parent, I would feel more comfortable knowing that everything is sanitized and there are no needles being reused. I asked my son was everything done in front of him, and he informed me that once he went back to the room after paying they began the tattoo.

I dont usually leave reviews, but I have to leave one for this place. Today I got my very first tattoo. As a matter of fact I got two. You felt welcome as soon as you walk in by the receptionist. Reggie was the one who did my tattoo. Not only was he pleasant, but he was also very gifted in his craft. He paid attention to the details of what I was looking for and he didnt disappoint. The conversation while he was working on his masterpiece was not a disappointment either. I would like to say keep up the great work that you and your team does. You guys are awesome 👏

Would never recommend this place. Got my sons ears pierced literally one week ago today. Paid full price and tipped the guy even though he was rude because Ive worked in the service industry as well and I understand customer service. The piercing fell out and I was charged an additional $10 today for the piercer Pablo to try to jam an earring into my sons ear to only let me know it can’t be done. Duh. That’s why we came in here and paid your service fee. Then was told to come back in two weeks to get it re-done and pay full price once again. I definitely won’t be back. This is why it’s hard to patronize businesses in the hood. Never again. Save your money and save your time for people who will do the job right the first time and respect their customers.

There are no words that can express how you, Reggie have made me feel. Your original design and skillful gifted hands have changed my life. When other tattooist wouldnt take my scalp-tattoo project, you jumped right in and created magic. Usually I have had great experiences here just I little upset that the person who placed my sons nose piercing did not assess the length to see that it was too short when we called to have him go back he was charged an additional fee to have it changed. Had the person putting it in looked to see that it was too short causing the piercing to sink into his nose we would not have had to come back this one it much longer he could not even turn the first piercing.

I got my medusa done and it was really quick and painless. They gave me a small bottle of saline solution and they were very nice.

I have no complaints, Pablo was great. He made sure I left satisfied with my Septum piercing. I would recommend. It was quick and efficient. I was in and out and the business is clean.I was provided aftercare instructions and he was even patient with my nervousness and questions.

I love this place, it’s clean, secure, with professional receptionist and other artists…I been going here for over two years, it’s so comfortable and welcoming….Reggie has been my artist, he’s always professional,passionate and knowledgeable about his craft, he assists you with a vision/project if you know what you want, which is a positive. I got my nose pierced today for the first time by Robert (I think that was his name) The experience was nice even though I was nervous, it wasn’t as bad as I thoughtI walk in and was back out in bout 10/15 mins. He told me how to properly care for the piercing and of course he answer any questions I had.I give them 5 stars ⭐️

I came in and the receptionist was very nice and offered to show me the different piercings. I was sent back in about 5-10 minutes (after my friend), Pablo was SUPER professional and very friendly. He talked to me while it was happening and I barely knew it was happening. It happened very quickly (under 5 min literally). Affordable and very sanitary too. 12/10!

Best priced piercings i’ve found in northern IL. i have had a lot of piercings and paid more for face piercings in a random persons basement. it was quick clean and easy. the front desk lady and piercer both very friendly. no problem with me asking to adjust the location. I will definitely be back for more piercings.

This tattoo parlor is okay but their piercing needs a little improving because my friends and I got our nose piercings done here and ours didn’t heal well and we also used their tea tree salines. We got our nose piercings months ago and they still didn’t heal and I thought nothing too much of it but when I got it done the second time, it was bad because the piercing was uneven from the first one and they never ever gave me instructions the first time they ever pieced me. No cleaning instructions, no jewelry size information and just lack of efficient work. I’m just glad they never got infected because I honestly clean my piercings a lot and I love to clean them too but I had to go somewhere else for my third one. They didn’t do a very good job.

Pablo was super friendly, professional, and efficient. I love that Inkhart takes walk-ins for nose piercings. The process was 15 minutes combined for my sister and I. Great experience! And I love my piercing.

My boyfriend got his ear pierced here . They saw him n a timely manner. The holes were correctly symmetrical. They gave him after care instructions and solution to clean his piercings. They charged $40 for both ears to b pierced.

I went and got my second lobe holes here. 10/10 would recommend.Love Inkhart Tattoo, JP is amazing, from my second lobes to my re-piercing my cheeks which I didn’t just trust anyone to do. Cheeks are complicated but I knew I was in good hands.Front desk needs a little work, but otherwise. Talent all around.

Went to get a nose piercing a month ago on a Saturday woke up the next morning the stud was sunken through the whole. I called to inform them, they said I needed a bigger top. Went to get the bigger top the following Tuesday. I now have a bump around the piercing. #keloid

Me and my teenage daughters went hear for our 1st piercings (me industrial, them noses & mine wasnt planned). Inkhart handled us with care. The experience from the phone called questions (before coming), to warm felt customer service, to the piercing process - it all made us comfortable. This a rare treasure in businesses these days (take heed). We were also weirdly pumped after we got them, because they helped displace our fears. Glad this still exists in business!

Ill be back for a tattoo soon! I went for a piercing and was told the piercer wasnt scheduled in until 1pm. No biggie, I can wait. The lady at the front desk was pleasant and got all the paperwork together now instead of waiting. After sitting for about 15 min, another artist decided to do my piercing. He made me feel comfortable and it went rather quickly. Nice business.

I had the most pleasant experience at Inkhart!! All the reviews I read definitely did not disappoint. When I got there the receptionist was open and helpful. I didn’t have to wait long at all to meet the tattoo artist which to my pleasant surprise was the owner!! He was funny welcoming and warm. Very knowledgeable of his craft and was open- minded to my ideas and suggestions as well. I enjoyed myself and wish the tattoo took longer than it did!! I really loved this place. I got my nose pierced here and my experience was absolutely amazing. This lady at the front desk was really nice and helpful. And the piercer was fudging AMAZING he pierced my nose fast and it didnt really hurt as bad. Keep in mind everyone pain tolerance is different. He made me feel comfortable. In addition, he uses clean tools fresh out the package. Uggh cant express how amazing this place is.

I wanted to repierce my second hole in both ears because they closed over time. Pablo did an excellent job. I didn’t notice when he pierced my ears. I was thinking about other piercings and asked Pablo about them. He was kind and patient, educating me on my options. I decided to get a conch & helix. I am very satisfied with his work and professionalism.

Tldr: professional AND caring! 10/10.I got my nose piercing redone here. The piercing was real fast and not too painful! I was impressed by the confidence and accompanying competence; it was really reassuring. Then I went and fainted outside the lobby immediately afterwards (my own fault! didnt eat enough it seems) and they were so incredibly kind, sitting me down and getting me food and water and a fan and even walking me to my Lyft. Cannot recommend them enough; they know what theyre doing and they care about you to boot. Would absolutely visit them again.

I went 3/6/20 to get my nose pierced with my girl Dee. From walking in the door and greeted to the promptness of being serviced. Great customer service! It only took 10 minutes to be serviced by Plablo, who was friendly, and made sure where he put my pierce was straight and where it would look best. It took 2 minutes. Love it. HIHGLY RECOMMEND

I had a great experience Karina was a great piercer she was very gentle and explained everything to me before doing it and explained the after care very well, she pierced my second hole and my cartilage. It did not take very long and everything was clean and sterile if i plan on getting anymore piercings i will definitely get them done here again i loved it

I went here twice and got 3 piercings and one started giving me problems healing because the piercer used the wrong jewelry. It was too small and my ear had no room to heal, plus my ear got pinched in the jewelry so I couldn’t get it off by myself. The other 2 are fine but I definitely had to go to the hospital to get it removed before it got too bad😕 The piercer is cool but that just ended up causing me a lot of trouble.

My mom got her 1st tattoo here at age 56 she was nervous about it but once she got here she was comfortable. She can be crazy about cleanliness and even brings her own tools to the nail shop but here she was so comfortable and could really see how clean it was . She didnt even blink or say one word about it being sanitary. She loved her tattoo. I got a tattoo also and I love it. It healed fast and well. My sister in law got a piercing here and said it was the only one she never had a problem with. This is the only place I will ever let tattoo me from now on.

I went here and got my baby girls ears pierced. This place was amazing! They made me feel comfortable and at ease. My little one cried for all of 5 seconds on the second ear and was held and rocked by the tech! They have a customer for life!

I got my rook pierced on both sides. Pablo was my piercer and he did great. He checked on how I was feeling and answered all questions I had. The whole paperwork and piercing process was quick, I definitely recommend this place.

Dang! I just called to make an appointment today Thursday July 15th the receptionist who was not Brittany was rude as ****! She was very impatient as if she had something else to do. When I said I’ll call back at another time she abruptly hung up the phone. I called back to let her know and she did it again with no courtesy to me as a customer. No “have a good day or we look forward to you calling back”. What’s wrong with people who are in the business of customer service. If she was the front line of my business she would not have a job!!! I’ll look elsewhere for my tattoo! 😞

I went to get my surface tregus pierced here... I can’t remember the Spanish guys name who pierced me but man was he awesome at giving me knowledge of risk, cleaning, and after care!! Reggie did a fantastic job on my first tattoo 😁 He was talkative and hilarious and made the experience so great that I nearly forgot I was getting a tattoo. I have also gotten several piercings there before and they were also pleasant visits.

I went to get a piercing well 2 piercings and when I say Jay was great like he kept me calm and made me feel comfortable and safe. He had the stationary clean and sanitatized. I love his work!! Definitely recommend him for all your piercing needs❤️❤️❤️

Came in early (1:10pm) and left 10 mins later with my nose piercing. My Peircer (Pablo) was very quick, helpful, and skilled. Pricing is very fair too. They also give you education on how to care for your piercings too.

Last night was my first time going there. And it wont be my last. The shop was clean. Everyone was very friendly and professional and down-to-earth. Oh, and the prices were great! And the job Grande did on my forearm--even greater. Shes a MONSTER with the tattoo gun, a straight-up BEAST. She gave my body the best tatt it had ever been given. Yes indeed. Her skills are inexplicably remarkable. (Nodding my head) I will definitely be going back there. And Ill be recommending others to go there, too. Inkhart is a ten-star tattoo shop all the way. But the ratings, unfortunately, only go up to five.

I am a Black woman and wanted to use a Black owned and Black run establishment. And I couldn’t have picked a better place! I am afraid of needles and Aaron, my tattoo artist, was awesome! He was super patient and very kindly calmed my nerves. My tattoo looks amazing and it doesn’t hurt at all. I would definitely recommend this tattoo

First when i walked in the place it was nice n clean then i was in and out. i got a nose piercing i had forgot the man name that did it but he was very quick n nice.

The piercer was so unprofessional i wanted my nostrils pierced and he didnt wanna use the clamps even tho I requested them and had been going here for years before he started working here. Im used to the old piercer, she used the clamps so I was used to that. Its always rushed and he shoves the needle in not caring... also they didnt wanna refund me my money even tho he opened the needle after I said I wanted clamps

Went in for a septum piercing and only waited about ten minutes , piercing took two minutes and both the piercer and the woman at the front desk were very nice and helpful. Price was only 30 dollars and the experience was overall really nice ! Definitely coming here again for my next piercings

Excellent job by Taj nose piercing was done in less than 5 minutes virtually painless. She talked to me the entire time making sure I was okay. Taj has the hands of an angel! Once my sister told me about this place its the only place I go to for my piercings since. Out of my 14 Ive had the last 6 of them done here (With 3 of the removed and added back at a later date because I was supposed to goto the military but yea didnt work out) They are very friendly and professional and I feel comfortable every time I go. Nose piercing. First of all..the receptionist said please and thank you. Its sad that I have to mention that but its so rare that when I heard her say it I was so happy. She was very pleasant and even had patience while we second guessed our decisions and read through the contracts. She then led us to Tahz who met us with a smile and sincere interest in what we wanted from her.It was so clean, so perfect, so quick. She even repositioned my dot three times until i was sure. (she had originally placed in what was a perfect spot lol but i changed it twice when really it was perfect the first time she did it). She was pleasant and very informative encouraged me to clean often and please come back ifI have any issues. I felt so sure of myself when I left.When I get another piercing this is where Im going.

I made an appointment to have my snake eyes replaced, just to get there and be informed that they dont do that. Im giving 5 stars because I was greeted immediately and the lady was super sweet and informative.

I’ve gotten four tattoos and three piercings here I’ve travel far around Chicago just to get my work done from here I’ve lived on jst about every side of Chicago and the whole time this shop has been my go to ink and body piercings shop I heard about them thru a friend that also received ink from here but the customer service by itself was great Nd worth going back just for that itself! they made the process very quick and easy the piercings was the quickest and painless the tattoos were carefully detailed they ask u what u want Nd try there hardest to get it down all the way to the smallest detail and even add things along the way the artist themselves make u feel very comfortable and at home you can tell they work as a family in the shop they give u as many brakes as u need lol for those who need it Fse they aren’t heavy handed there very professional and talk to u the whole time they giving you ink to make it as painless and quick as possible they give u numbing cream if need be they show u every needle they use is fresh out the pack as well as the tops they use for the ink itself they are very clean! They even tell u at the end of the session if anything needs to be touched up once it heal u can come in and they will do it for free cuz some times tattoos fade And a couple of mine did and they fixed it 3 different times with no problem or no questions asked The only negative I have is that they close to early lol Most days be packed which is not a surprise! It ain’t enough rooms for tattoo chairs so two people to a room and I don’t like people in my face while I’m going thru pain lmao and also the tattoo guns sound is a bit aggressive but don’t feel as bad as it sounds And prices are a bit high but worth every buck And my hand tattoos faded a couple times so I had to get them redone but overall they just made the experience very well worth the travel and wait I will be back for more tattoos and made this place my tattoo home for sure I’ve never had anything go wrong no deep tissue scars no bumps no diseases no anything expect pure ink and talent much love to the shop and the artist that make up the shop

This place is awesome I dont remember the womens names but they were so nice Ive been here twice first got my nipples pierced then my nose both times quick but precise and patient Ill be there hopefully tomorrow if they open to get my nipples repierced long story lol Happy new years
