Amazing first tattoo experience here! I did my tattoo with Noah, and he gave me great guidance on the best spots for my tattoo idea. My friend is the one that came up with a rough sketch for the design and he translated it perfectly into a clean tattoo. I just got it so I don’t have any healed pictures of it, but I’m sure it will look great. Really chill and laid back environment, it made me feel very comfortable. Pricing is also very reasonable.

Great group of guys. They took real good care of me and told me everything they were going to do. They gave me water and also make sure I was comfortable. I will definitely keep going back

I just got a very small and simple first tattoo here and it was a great experience. I was a walk-in midday on a Friday and someone was helping me within 10 minutes. Everyone was friendly and answered all of my questions. The space was very clean and open and everything felt very sanitary. Their minimum tattoo rate is $80 and I would recommend bringing cash. They do have a convenient atm and accept Cash App so if you dont, its not a problem. Overall I had a great experience here and will be recommending Focused Tattoos to all my friends.

My son had his ears pierced here and had a great experience. Kelsi spent a lot of time instructing him on proper care and safety. She answered all of our questions and gave great information on how to keep his piercing clean and healthy. We had a follow up question and she replied promptly to our text. The studio is clean, bright and airy and provides a cool and welcoming environment. I can’t speak to their tattoo services but if I was getting one, I would definitely go here.

I love it. I called and asked about getting my back dermals done. Very nice lady over the phone. I came in, got them done by Kelsi. She was so nice, patient, helpful and informed me on anything I needed to know. Would definitely come back.

While my simple tattoo request ended up turning out well, which is ultimately the goal, I have never had such a poor experience in a shop. I called ahead on a weekday to see if they could accommodate three walk-in outline designs. The gentleman on the phone was cheerful and said that they had nine artists ready to work - $80 minimum. Great! We arrive and I have to ask the woman we are greeted by if she works at the shop bc she doesnt even acknowledge us when we walk in. She acts like were an inconvenience despite only one other person being tattooed at the time (the floor is a completely open layout - no privacy in the main room). Once I am paired with my artist, the stencil is applied, its crooked, I say so, and they say, Oh, yeah, it is. Like??? Good thing I mentioned that? Lol. Finally, I am not told its cash or CashApp only until after my overpriced tattoo is done (literally took seven minutes but was $30 more than minimum cost), so Im scrambling to have one of my friends cover my bill -- a mess! Grateful for the ability to be tatted in Cleveland, but I would not recommend if anyone asked!

So great! I was a walk in and I got in very quickly. I got a tattoo I designed myself on my upper thigh and my artist nailed it! He copied it perfectly. I am a massive chicken but he was super understanding and it hardly hurt. Really tickled though. Lol. Great pricing too.

I have only been to Danielle Stull, but shes been my trusted artist while in Cleveland and I plan to go to her until I leave mid July. The pictures Im attaching arent all me, Im including pictures from when my boyfriend and best friend also got tattoos done by Dani with me.

My sister got a poppy tattoo the beginning of this year and I liked it a lot. We decided to take my mom for her first tattoo there for her birthday . We all wanted matching flower tattoos. My sister called twice to confirm the appointment and to make sure they could do the flower we wanted. They said we didn’t need to send a picture. (Which I thought was odd?) however, she got her poppy tattoo by just making an appointment and not having a consultation so I thought okay maybe this is how they do things here? So, we get there and they instantly said they could not do the hibiscus flower we wanted because it was “3D” let me tell you—it was not 3d. He was acting like we were asking for a portrait of a family member or a crazy cover up. The hibiscus consisted of pink shading and one leaf? We drove an hour to get there for nothing. Instead of figuring out who dropped the ball, the three employees just did not care. They literally just shrugged and said well you can come back during the week. No thank you jerk. Great customer service guys. Eye roll. With that being said, don’t waste your time and whoever answers the phones needs to get more information and training on what the procedures are in terms of scheduling. Sorry mom!

Went on a Friday afternoon for a nose piercing. First time there. Filled out paperwork, brought to the back, piercing done. In and out in 15mins. Thanks Kelsi!

When you arrive you don’t need a code, you just open the door and go up the stairs. it was very clean and spacious. i was greeted when i walked which is great. the person i had was awesome and i really enjoyed the conversation. i don’t plan on getting another tattoo anytime soon but if change my mind i’m coming back to this location.

One of my favorite tattoo experiences!!! Went to the shop in Coventry. Everyone in the shop was so freaking nice. The artist hand drew my piece on my skin and stayed open late just to finish it. Talented, clean, and friendly I am DEFINITELY going back here for my next one. They are booked up a lot so be sure to make an actual appointment or you could be waiting for a while. It is def worth it though. The pricing was perfectly reasonable. It was a small shop, but intimate. Very clean, I watched them clean for closing. Super talented and nice artists. Steve, you rocked my world. My tattoo pops! Its healing super well and he was incredibly patient. Highly Recommended.

I went here for my vertical labret and received minimal verbal care instructions, and nothing in writing.The piercing is extremely crooked and I am not happy with it at all. She marked it with sharpie, basically on the left, and I had her remark it in the center which looked good. When she put the actual needle through, the entire mark was still showing and completely missed.When I reached out to the person who did my piercing, the response was “well you should have told me when you were here, you can come get it redone in two weeks” followed by all of my next messages asking about the healing process simply being left on read.My fiancé also had his lobes pierced and they’re not even close to straight.I wouldn’t be surprised if this place deleted bad reviews because there is no way it has this many satisfied customers.

Donnys pretty much done all my piercings. Ive always had a good experience. Donny is professional and makes me feel comfortable and not nervous. Since they moved to a different location in Coventry, its a little harder to find and a little tricky to get in. I cant speak on the tattoos since I dont have any. I will return to Focused for my next piercing as long as Donny is still there. However, there was a girl there that I didnt care for her customer service. I dont know her name and dont know if she still works there. It was back in Oct, 2017.

I have 6 tattoos and I got my 5th one done here, by Donny. He was wonderful! He made sure that I was getting exactly what I wanted in exactly the right place. He was very gentle and easy to talk to without pushing conversation. His line work is precise and clean and he was very reasonable about pricing. I would easily go to him again.The only reason Im not giving this shop 5 stars is another artist, Eric. Eric was supposed to do my tattoo but after sitting with a friend of mine while hers was done by him, I couldnt do it. He was rude, sexist, and bigoted the whole time. He told my friend her tattoo idea was stupid, which was very unprofessional. He complained about the work hed have to do for it the whole time and the proceeded to overcharge her for it. Not only that, but her tattoo healed weird and the color ended up patchy and faded. We thought this might have to do with her eczema but when she went to have it touched up, another one of my friends got a simple black outline piece which did the same thing. We have concluded that Eric just does NOT use quality products and I would never go back to him.Overall, this shop is clean, professional, welcoming, and reasonably priced. I would go back again to Donny for sure, but I would never go to or let anyone I know go to Eric.

I recently got my first tattoo here, from Danielle. I was extremely pleased with both the process and the results. Danielle drew the design to my exact specifications and was very careful to make sure it was centered precisely on my chest. Getting the tattoo barely hurt at all and it turned out perfectly! She was calm and professional through the whole process, patiently answered all of my many questions before, during and after, and gave me detailed aftercare instructions which have so far completely prevented any signs of infection or peeling. I love my tattoo and will definitely be coming back here!!! Thank you Danielle!!!

The best tattoo shop in Cleveland !The tattoo artist always makes sure you feel comfortable and safe while receiving tattoos. The artist are extremely talented and perfectionist when it comes to their craft. Personally I always recommend this tattoo shop.Whenever I’m looking to receive another tattoo ill be visiting again!

I would like to thank Quiz for my tattoo. He was kind and gentle for my 62nd Birthday and to honor my great granddaughter. We had scheduled appointments but with confusion they only schedule one appointment instead of two. Quiz look at what I wanted and took on the task. Thank you Marcus for for letting us know and seeing if Quiz was available to do my tattoo.

I went here to get a cartilage piercing in mid October and 3 months later, my piercing is no where close to healed. Even though I’ve followed all the cleaning protocol, I still have a piercing bump, which is probably never going away. Should’ve researched piercing more before but since the piercer seemed educated on his craft, I felt safe getting a piercing here. Let me just say, that is absolutely not the case. The jewelry they use here is absolute garbage. It’s low quality surgical steel, and after taking it out, I realized it’s externally threaded, which you never want in a fresh piercing. Save your money for an APP member and don’t make the same mistake I did.

My sister had originally gotten a tattoo done by Donny awhile back and just come back in to ask for a touch up. When she asked Donny for the touch up, he was extremely rude and insisted that the tattoo did not need a touch up, despite half of it was clearly fading. He responded by saying I guess I can do that for you in a very reluctant attitude. It was a very uncomfortable situation to say the least. He then scheduled an appointment for my sister to come back in two weeks for the touch up. On the day of the appointment, my sister shows up to the tattoo shop and waits for 20 minutes before asking if Donny was there. Donny was not at the shop and a co-worker confirmed that he was not coming in today. There was no communication whatsoever for why Donny blew off my sisters appointment. Needless to say, we will not be coming back to this shop. Highly unprofessional and rude workers.

I have had 3 excellent experiences here so far. Artist Ed Zimmer is fantastic - very clean, professional & does spectacular work! I wouldnt go anywhere else again! I have 6 tattoos & his work is by far the best. I now gladly make the hour drive just to see him.

My daughter and I went for tattoos. We were immediately greeted and asked what we wanted. We both had tattoos picked out which was niy5a problem. Both turned out great. The artists were polite, and informative. I am definitely going back there for my next one.

That, coupled with the great people that run the establishment, make this the place to go for a tattoo or piercing. The cherry on the top is how amazingly clean the place is. I got my Septum piercing done and it was So painful. Usually i hear that septum piercings are painless for the most part and that should have been the case for me but he claimed that i moved back when he was inserting the needle, which i didn’t and it took forever for him to get the jewelry to the other side of my nose. It hurt So bad and i was dripping so much blood that it got on My shirt and pants . He seemed so unsympathetic and didn’t even tell me about the aftercare . He did both of my nostril piercings in the past but never again !

Ik it wasnt the artist fault but I got a good size leg piece done on 12/22/21 and now its 1/9/22 and my leg still aint healed. A big section of the piece is infected and Ive been on antibiotics for the past 10 days. And its still not helping. So I wont be going back to them at all meaning for anything

A must go to place if you want great ink done. The artist are seriously trained and experienced. I know that Steve has a degree from the Cleveland Institute of Art; the quality of work can be seen as soon as you open the doors. Looking forward to getting my next tattoo on Wednesday.

So, anyone who is experienced in getting ink knows it’s not reasonable to want to start a half sleeve mid day without an artist even in mind or an appointment. But, you can probably also relate to just having the itch to getting some ink done. Well last week that was my significant other and I. Walked in focused, mid day, with the urge. I attached photos of the roses Quiz did on my arm, I was more than happy. He’s dope. Friendly. Couldn’t have ended my day better. Thank you for taking me, staying to work on me and for such good art work. I’ll definitely be returning to this shop ....

I got my industrial and conch pierced about 2 months ago. i’ve had nothing but issues with the piercings. the quality of the jewelry is so low. i have a keloid and an infection forming. off to urgent care. will not be coming back.

Jimmy Sr. has done work for me twice, so far and he is amazing! The people are all great and friendly. I love the whole place...a true reflection of what genuine artistry is.

I got introduced to Focused Tattoos by a girlfriend of mine (currently dating the artist I used). Ive had Ed do several tattoos on me and I love them! Ed is very clean, very artistic, AMAZING work! I would highly recommend Focused Tattoo to anyone wanting a tattoo. I prefer Ed and havent had the other artists work on me (probably wont because Im picky about who does my work).

I have four tattoos so far and am looking to fill the majority of my body. Three of the four were done by Ed Zimmer. All three of my tattoos from him are custom and I couldnt be happier. The shop is clean and well lit. Everyone is friendly and professional. Never a bad experience.

I made an appointment for an extremely important tattoo to cover self harm. Drove 40 minutes to get there, and was told the artist was busy working with someone else and forgot to call and tell me he couldn’t work on me anymore. Poor girl greeting customers had no idea what to do.

So I attempted to come to this place for an appointment to get my ears pierced along with my son and the guy I had the appointment with was not there. Let me make this clear, I didn’t request anyone specifically but who was available giving the person they schedule me was not there. Appointment was for 1pm and it was 20 minutes passed and not there. There was another person there that could pierce but insisted we waited on the person who the appointment was made with. I must say I did not make an appointment with anyone particular. The receptionist who recommended the appointment said appointments were best, not necessarily with any particular person. So needless to say we left. Not understanding why someone who currently was free wasn’t able to assist us giving that I’m sure the piercing we wanted didn’t require much time.

Awesome place with good vibes and chill people. My tattoo was done by Eric Bays, he is a great artist who really impressed me with his work and im definitely going to see him again. I can honestly say thank you for the good experience and I highly recommend visiting this place.

Horrible experience with Matt. I contacted him in October to get a piece done, and he responded almost immediately via text and seemed cool. He scheduled a consultation with me, and the day that I went in for the consultation it took him a half hour to get to me (he had scheduled someone in the same time slot). Our meeting lasted two minutes tops, where I showed him pictures of how I wanted the tattoo done, and he told me to go home, find other clip art images and email them to him. So I drove fourty minutes to Coventry for something that could have been settled over the phone. I ended up texting him for his email, and he replied quickly. I sent him images and a description on how I wanted it done via email, but I never got a reply. I texted him two weeks after that asking if he had started on my design and he did not reply to my text. So I just gave up on the place. It was too much of a hassle and I had such terrible communication and an overall poor experience from Matt.

This is my new and only tattoo spot. Quiz is very talented, creative, focused, and easy-going. He gave input on my ideas and helped create my favorite tattoo I have so far. I’ll never go anywhere else.

From what Ive seen, their tattoo work is quality! However, I wouldnt recommend for piercings. I had a triple forward helix done here and loved it at first, but had a lot of jewelry trouble. Labrets kept coming loose repeatedly, and had a lot of trouble with healing as my piercings got extremely irritated.I then went somewhere to see an APP piercer who told me the jewelry was garbage and advised me to remove it as a two month old piercing should not look so poor. She also told me the placement was poor and causing issues. After removal, she showed me the jewelry so I could get a closer look, and it looked extremely shabby--had already lost all its shine. Ive never had a piercing give me so much trouble and am disappointed that I paid so much money to ultimately throw out jewelry and wait for my now-ugly ear to heal. I hate to leave a bad review, but its disappointing to lose that trust when youre paying someone to do work on your body.

Very poor customer service, called the shop to make sure a piercer was available they stated yes come before 6pm I arrived at 430. The front desk receptionist was rude when inquiring about future tattoos. Then to say the piercer wasn’t able to do the job he wasn’t feeling well. No apology or empathy for the huge inconvenience. If I could give ZERO stars I would.I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Got a fantastic tattoo from Donny. Since the tattoo i wanted was going next to a previous piece from another artist, he matched the style of the other artist so the two would match and look great together. Extremely happy with experience!

Doing my best to keep this short: I hired Steve K. to do work in the past for me. In all fairness the guy is a talented artist with clean slates, maybe decent with SOME cover-up work, but when it comes to complex cover up work I believe he is still way too green. I re-hired Steve for additional work, which included heavy cover up and more ink on fresh skin. Continuing on, Steve started the 1st stage of the cover up work I had requested, and finished it. Moving on to the 2nd stage, the standard $50 deposit was requested, which is applicable to the tattoo (as had been the case in the past), and I decided to give him $80 as a sign of good faith. He willfully accepted. He took pics, took his time, drew up a design, and we scheduled an appointment. Unfortunately I had unforeseen events occur where I had to reschedule with Steve twice, however these were not last minute, hours before cancellations. These cancellations were made days in advance. If ever I needed to cancel, I always made an offer to pay him more money in advance to keep my financial end of the commitment. Ultimately when rescheduling for a 3rd time, Steve informed me that the initial $80 deposit would not be going towards the tattoo and that it was for helping me see my vision and for the artwork only. Clearly this was unbeknownst to me and caught me off guard. This had not been the case in the past as my deposits I had given him always went towards the cost of the tattoo with Steve.It should also be noted, that Im a transplant from Southern California, and have high expectations with regards to tattoo work. Steve had made several trips to the L.A./San Diego area in hopes of networking with SoCal Artists, I provided him with 3 different tattoo artists names and businesses that I know personally, and he sought them all out. I had no problem with helping him, and name dropping, on his behalf to help see his vision as a tattoo artist, so I indeed feel a bit burned when he essentially took my $80 deposit and tried to spin things and call it an artist visionary fee. In the end, there were pieces that I had to have Steve redraw simply because they were not what I was looking for and I think he took offense. I absolutely believe that Steve simply got himself in way over his head with the large cover up work that he started. I have since seen 2 other tattoo artists, both of who were clueless as to why Steve went in the direction he went with the outlining and cover up work that he started. They both pointed out huge mistakes made on his end. I give credit where credit is due; Steve is talented in his own regard, but got himself in too deep with coverup work that was beyond his capabilities.

Im only basing my judgement on one session, but my tattoos were small and on my wrist, and were simple dots. They all bled out around the sides. I did everything I was instructed. The rest of the shop was clean and the tattoos that I saw were amazing. I must have been the exception.

My 16 yo daughter got her nose pierced, Danielle was awesome, fast and very experienced. Gave my daughter great instructions and her piercing looks awesome. Total chill *****

I spent an hour driving to Cleveland Heights to find the place. Couldnt find out how to get it and wasted 30 minutes in the rain trying to find out how. When I tried calling to ask, I didnt receive any help and he even hung up on me. Ill find somewhere else to do business with.
