This place has remained amazing throughout the years....the last time I was here was 10-15 years ago. I havent had a new tattoo for about 5 years. A new tattoo was my mothers day gift. I made an appointment with Conner, and he perfectly accommodated the busy day that I was trying to get the tattoo on. He was incredibly professional but down to earth at the same time. The tattoo came out great, just as every other tattoo Ive ever gotten at Body Language!

Conner is the best. All the guys there are great. I recommend them 100%. Conner did almost all the art on my leg and half the work on my arm.

Diego is amazing ! Got a neo-traditional fox by him and his work is stunning! Every one of them are so talented and kind. 10/10 recommend!

Casey was super awesome! I brought him a reference picture on a walk in appointment. The tattoo was better than I could have imagined! Super down to earth dude! Highly recommend!!!

I already had 3 tattoos from various artists but all were in easily hidden locations (hip, foot, inner bicep). I have been dreaming about a collection of forest creatures on my arm since I was 15. I have known Wes for 3 years and after a few discussions about my vision I knew I could trust him. He was just as excited and super helpful with ideas. So far, he has tattooed a frog, daisies, snail, mushrooms, butterfly, Luna moth, and a wrist bracelet of leaves. Wish I could attach a video so you could see the whole sleeve but pictures are attached. I wanted black outlines with peppering shading for a light tattoo feel. There is still more to come but he is hands down the best artist I have had so far and will not be going anywhere else! Thank you Wes!!!

Popped in with a friend as a walk in client and was immediately greeted by the shop manager. Shes so kind; super involved with everything going on and people coming and made meeting new artists easier.The Artist we had, Sandy, worked with us to get just what we wanted drawn up and a fun, laid back guy. He got us set up, walked us through the process and 5 1/2 hours later the two of us were walking out with some AMAZING work. We pushed him out of his comfort zone and he freakin SMASHED it for us! Definitely recommend Body Language Tattoo and I hope to be back for my next one

Long time coming I got my most meaningful tattoo in remembrance of my 3 dogs. Blue, CC, and Wiener. Wes was my artist and he did a great job didnt even take a half hour.

This is my home away from home. I cant speak highly enough of the crew. I recommend this shop to anyone and everyone.- Conner McKinney - my usual artist, versatile, puts out a ton of flash, and handles custom requests in a timely manner with excellent results.- Frank Zedek Jr. - another super talented artist with a fantastic bedside manner. Very kind, works quickly but takes time to make you feel welcome, and brings great feedback to consultations.- Chris Smithy Smith - truly, an OG. Master machine builder, adept at black and gray realism as much as bright colorful trad stuff. If you have an idea and you want it done with truly impressive results, all you have to do is ask for Smithy.Kyle, Diego, and soon Casey round out the rest of the BL family. Unfortunately I havent been to see any of them yet, but 2024 will be the year. Tucker and Kat at the front desk are always kind and welcoming.The only note I have is that some clients prefer a female artist, and the Body Language crew is all men for now. Two comments about that - first, the staff are very respectful - never heard an odd or inappropriate from any of them - and they will put up screens to shield clients from view for more intimate sessions. Second, if you as a client prefer to work with a woman, try their sister shop, Sacred Hand on Parsons Ave. Bre Montes is a delight.Body Language, Sacred Hand, and High Street Tattoo are all owned by Joey Knuckles. Joey is a tattoo historian and artist, and as a business owner he has cultivated a balanced blend of talents and personalities that are ready to address any tattoo needs you might have.

Wes did an amazing patch tattoo for Me. First one ever, def not the last one. Has healed nicely and looks amazing. High recommended Wes, or any Artist there. All of them were hard at work bringing peoples dreams to life.

Wes did an awesome job for my daughter and myself could not have asked for a better experience. It was my daughters first tattoo and I added more for a sleeve. I decided to get my first tattoo about a month ago. Went in with a basic idea of what I wanted and Wes drew up something I absolutely love more than my basic idea. It looks awesome and not even finished. In one more week I go back to finish it up.Update: it in is finished now and looking awesome. Loving it!!

Wes is amazing artist Im happy with my seventh tattoo I got done of my family crest . And Im happy about him redoing my dream Catcher that I have for over 10+ years . And I cant wait to see him in November for my Anubis tattoo that I will be getting on my right upper leg .

I had an idea of the tattoo I wanted and Dan Wesley helped bring it to life. His creativity took it up a notch and I love the result. He is very professional. The Body Language shop is cool and clean. The experience could not have been better. I have already sent one person to him who is equally pleased. Awesome all around . Friendly artists, clean stations, and the quality of work is phenomenal! Went in to have an exs name covered and ended up spending almost the entire day here! Both myself and my fiancé got detailed tattoos and the entire time were treated like family! Will be doing business here again in the very near future!Update. Went back with my now husband and in law. All 4 of us got amazing tattoos! Good tattoos arent cheap but these guys do phenomenal work for reasonable price. No desire to shop around. All my future work will be done here! ❤

I was tatted by Kat and I’m so very happy with the results. This is only partially done and I can’t wait for the finished piece. Respectful, kind, and great at what she does. I had my very 1st tattoo done here with my 18yr old daughter. Aaron did our tattoos. We love them😍We had a great experience, the tattoo artist & the front desk guy were super nice, friendly, & professional. I will 100% be back to get my next tattoo. The place was clean, lots of images on walls to look at, kicka $$ music, they even play a movie or TV show to watch while being tatted. I definitely would recommend this location. The High Street one was much smaller & not as cozy plus there was literally no parking. There was construction going on but regardless, parking is an issue (unfortunately & IMO)

Conner did a wonderful job covering up a rather unfortunate tattoo I got at a different place! He was able to cover it up with a gorgeous rose and I was incredibly grateful. He has done multiple tattoos for me and my boyfriend in the past as well and done an excellent job every time! Body language is an awesome place and very professional.

Dont let mino do your tattoo. He will add something ugly and unnecessary to your stencil that cant be undone. Over 100 dollars of something extra you dont even want.

Came for a weekend visit to Columbus from Illinois and wanted to get some ink while we were here. I called around to a few shops in the area and thought the customer service was very professional over the phone, so I came in for a consultation. The shop is very clean, the artists are great, the vibe/environment is full of positivity. I really enjoyed the professionalism of the shop. Luckily, they had walk in availability. Connor did a UFO piece for me that turned out AMAZING! Frank did a walking taco piece on my GF that is AMAZING! If youre looking for a great shop! Dont hesitate to check these guys out!

Went for a walk in. didn’t expect to be accommodated so quickly. They provided the best customer service. I had great communication from my tattoo artist Frank. He understood what i wanted to get done and did an amazing job translating that to a work of art. He even stayed after hours to finish the tattoo. Recommended 10/10 will be coming back for more sessions

This was my first tattoo and Wes was amazing. The whole process was seamless, his facility is extremely clean, and he was easy to communicate with. I got a patch tattoo that took one hour, I was impressed with the level of detail in such a short amount of time. I have already recommended him to so many people who were also impressed with his work.

My wife and I have been going there for over 10 yrs ago and it’s great. My 18yr old daughter wanted a tattoo for her graduation gift and she got a Bat. My boyfriend and I stopped in for a small four year anniversary tattoo since we were in the area and Shawn was our artist. Shawn was very kind and made sure we were both comfortable at all times. His work is great. Overall, everybody in there is very nice and welcoming and they made sure that we were satisfied 101%. Were from out of town, but we would come back if were ever in the area again. ♥️

I got a new tattoo from Wes at BL. And I cant even tell yall how much I love it, him, and this shop as a whole. They all do quality amazing work, and the atmosphere is awesome! Ive been coming here since the early 2000s and Im gonna keep coming back here every time I want more. I went a few weeks ago for my birthday after being recommended from a manager and let me just say I am IN LOVE with my work. Aaron is an amazing artist and so talented. The staff are super friendly and my tattooist Aaron was very nice and made sure I was feeling comfortable and okay. I will FOR SURE be coming back. amazing!!!

We were seen right away, which was the opposite experience we had at High Street Tattoo (even though these two shops are owned by the same person). We had an immediate consultation with the artists Mino and Tony who both had phenomenal attitudes. Mino gave my daughter her very first tattoo experience and she got exactly what she wanted and the sizing was perfect I have an appointment set up with Tony on a custom tribal piece that will be my 7th tattoo. One that I have been wanting for the last ten years. I cant wait to see what Tony comes up with. Highly recommend this shop because these artists are awesome! See you guys again on the 20th for my appointment! Ill post pics of both then.

I’ve been getting work done by Wes for years and love all of it. Every time I give an idea to Wes his art exceeds my expectations. I love that I can give him an idea and trust that he will come up with a great piece of art that will last. The staff at Body Language are all great, very friendly, talented and willing to give great advice even if it’s not a tattoo they are doing. I’ll be going back as often as I can.

Got my very first tattoo at Body Language. Staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable for a first timer. The experience itself was about what I expected as far as the tattoo needles go. I am very pleased with the results. I have gone a couple more tines with a friend while she got additional tattoos. I personally am not looking for another one anytime soon but when I do, I am planning to go back there. Very clean, talented and professional staff.

It was my first tattoo ever and she was so considerate and understanding of how nervous I was. She talked me through the entire process, which I sincerely appreciated. I see Wes for my tattoo services. He is an amazing artist and person. I got 2 tattoos I loved the work he done. Biggest question is about what kinda tattoos u want as my concern it’s gonna be staying on my skin for rest of my life so I picked something that I ain’t gonna regret and he did perfect jobs. Place is clean and it’s walk in come first serve first I understand and I don’t like waiting that’s only thing that I don’t like. If I want another I’ll go there and suggest my friends to go there and pay bit more based on tattoo they want. It’s better to get some quality tats than something u have to regret in future.

Was looking around cbus to find an affordable and quick place to get my newest addition to my sleeve here. Wasnt familiar with this place or the area but I had to get it done as soon as possible and they were able to get me in right away as a walk-in! Aaron is an incredible artist and the man at the front desk who helped me pick a placement for my tat was equally wonderful. Ran by honest, great people and you will not be disappointed.

Tattoo artist was cool. But the girl that works the front scheduling appointments and whatnot has hands down the absolute worst attitude. Actually on more than one occasion she was beyond rude. I know its a tattoo shop so people are rough along the edges. But her being the only customer service person she has one of the worst personalities ever. Not friendly and seems so mean and miserable. Learn how to freaking fake smile at least geesshh!!

Matt did a great job re-doing my tattoo but I wont come here again. Online they claim to follow certain procedures but they dont! They did not ask me to leave my belongings in the car, they did not ask me to wipe my phone, keys, hands or anything. 6 feet? Forget about it. $150/hr for this service is trash. The quality is good but the service they offer is not worth the risk! For that hourly rate at another shop they will make sure its just you and the artist. Look around, just because it has good reviews doesnt mean it will be good for you.

I had the most horrible experience with the Tatoo artist Chris Bornheim, in the past, no problem but yesterday I had a scheduled appointment at 5:30, has I came in and spoke, Chris Bornheim asked if I had a appointment, much to my surprise, he forgot to write me in after a week prior conversation, he apologized and said he would try to pencil me in, horrible experience with Chris Bornheim, he approached me in such a verbally threatening manner, needless to say Chris needs anger management, but another artist Frank was able to squeeze me in before another client.

This shop is amazing! I highly recommend them! Wes did an amazing job and is able to create a great design based off my idea. Definitely go see him for your tattoo ideas.

It was my sons first tattoo. They had great hospitality, were professional, and were very patient. We will definitely refer other people. We had Shawn Lowe do our tattoos and he was great!

Its was the best experience getting tattooed that I have ever experienced. In this establishment, the employees are friendly and outgoing. The prices are spot on and the artists are amazing at their jobs, also the cleanest tattoo shop I have ever been in. My artist in particular, Reb, is an amazing artist in American traditional style tattooing, he is also amazing in other styles too. Thank you Body Language for an amazing experience, I am definatly returning here for my future tattoos.

I had Chris do this 5x3 image of Themis on my left arm. Chris was professional, on time, efficient and incredibly talented. This Tat came out better than I could have ever anticipated. Went to this shop for the first time as a walk-in. I was looking for a coverup on my inner right arm. The person at the front counter immediately set me up with an artist who was extremely throurough. He drew up the tattoo quick and he placed it at least 3 times until we were both happy. This was hands down the best experience Ive had thus far getting tattooed. The piece turned out amazing and I will be back for more. Thanks so much Body Language!

This place is always clean and friendly envirenment with great prices. The staff is very professional and has always explained things well. Most recently got worked on by Matt Mullens who did some amazing pheonix feathers on my upper bicep. He was super friendly easy to talk to, and super easy to set up an appointment with. I look forward to getting more work done from him and this shop in the future.

Went in for a small tattoo. When it healed the work was poorly done and choppy. The ink was blotted in certain areas and the words didn’t extend to where it needed to be. I called to make an appointment but they said I could come back for a touch up on any weekend, and I just moved out of town so I drove 2 hours so I could get it fixed but the guy that did it wasn’t there and they wanted to charge another $70.Update:Thank you for getting back to me. I’ll be coming back into town in December for Christmas.

Got my first tattoo here after going to some other shop that was rude and disrespectful, I found body language and felt right at home and welcomed. My tattoo turned out excellent and I loved that they reassured me during the process so I was less anxious about getting my first tattoo. Will definitely be coming back for my next one

Ive been getting tattooed here damn near since the day they opened. I absolutely love every piece I have. I also used to get pierced here way back when they still did piercings. I would and have recommended Body Language to many people asking where they should go.

Ive gotten three piercings done there, and my friend has gotten four piercings plus a tattoo from Body Lang. They are super friendly and although they are a bit expensive you get your moneys worth. Nothing got infected and they made sure my snake bites were perfectly even. They also healed quick. I got another piercing someplace else and paid 25 for it and not only was the jewlry scratched and caused my piercing to not heal correctly, they also didnt go deep enoung into the skin so it rejected.If you go on Mondays and Tuesdays its 2 for 1..great time to get snake bites and other double piercings.

My girlfriend had some beautiful work done, so I abandoned my original artist to get work done there. WHAT A MISTAKE!!!!!!!!! The artist (Jamie) and I believe manager, was rude, extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. He had the audasity to charge me $180 dollars for a simple apple that was already small to begin with. He was extremely disrespectful as if he did not care if he did my tattoo or had my business. Replying with sly remarks such as Yeah Ill do it but you gotta pay me and Yeah apples are typically red when I asked about the color. His remarks were belittling. And when I was leaving I said, Thank you for your time. and he replied Dont thank me, I didnt do anything. I left and they kept my $40 deposit. DO NOT GO HERE!

This was my first time ever having a tattoo. At 56, I hv a bucket list. The staff @ Body Language are phenomenal. They take time to focus on their clients, and making sure you are satisfied with any request. I will go again.

I first walked into body language and got my first tattoo last year. No appointment and a couple ideas in my head. Chris was the first to greet me and answer all of my questions and hooked me up with Reb to be my artist. With keloid scarring I have extra sensitive skin and had extra questions related to that as well. Reb and Chris gave me all of the Info I needed to get my first tattoo and it healed great. 6 months and 6 tattoos later and still no keloids. Reb did/does an amazing job with making any idea I come up with turn out rad on paper and takes extra care of tattooing my sensitive skin properly. I am proud of all the work he puts in for such detailed and original tattoos. I would highly recommend body language tattoo and dont forget to ask for Reb!

Ive been getting tattooed at Body Language for about 15 years. Awesome staff, very friendly, lots of fun, great work, talented artists, super clean. Love it and dont really go anywhere else.

First time being in this shop went in to get something small. The place is vert clean. Art everywhere which is what youd expect from a tattoo shop. I was in at 12 out at 12:30. Got something really small paid 90$. Reb was my artist he did good. However if youre looking to get something small i would suggest calling their minimum 77$. Overal though it was good.

I have used Wes and body language for all the tattoos except for my very first one but Wes will be covering with a better one and a different artist did my Marine tattoo it was before Wes worked there.

Clean and professional shop. My tattoo artist was Reb, this is my 6th tattoo with him. All of the guys in the shop are talented and laidback. The shop manager Chris, listens to what you are looking for to make sure you get to the right artist for you and your tattoo. Highly recommend them! Thanks guys!

I love the entire staff at Body Language but my most recent tattoo appointment was with Wes and we did a fun ghost tattoo and he was so kind and professional and insanely talented.

Over priced. Long long wait! Wanted my nose redone exactly where it was before and guy tried talking me out of it when I knew exactly what I wanted. I got both cartilages on my ears done and he rushed them and they are a smidge off (not lined up that great) I felt a little panic by how much they seem to rush. I told him I was a bleeder and he said you wont bleed with me......he had to wipe blood out of my blonde hair for about 5 mins.....wont be going back for anything in the future.

Been getting tattoos here for over 10 years. Some of Columbuss best artist have worked here at one time or another. Great staff, aforable prices for quality work.

Matt did a hand tattoo on me. It is blown out everywhere and is infected-I have many tattoos and never had one heal like this! I DEFINITELY would not go back! For someone who has been tattooing for 17 years(what Matt told me at least), my tattoo should not look like this!!(the tat is dry Bc I haven’t put A&D on it yet today to help the mess heal)Update-Body Language was so professional with the mess up on my hand. All the artists there are amazing which was disappointing bc they are a great shop. (The artist who did my tat is no longer working there). They went above and beyond to correct the issue and made it right!

This is my second tattoo that I have gotten here. The staff is awesome, super friendly and very professional. Very clean and following all the Covid guidelines.

They are ok, but way over priced for what they do. I would go back but you can get bigger and better tats for cheaper elsewhere. Plus mine is fading in some spots on my arm and not on others making it look weird.

My husband and I have gotten tattooed by Reb Fularz over many years. We were happy to see him join the professional team at Body Language. Reb does outstanding work and we always leave with tattoos done beyond our expectations. We plan on visiting Reb at Body Language as long as hes there!

Got charged 200$ for a lotus flower on the back of my neck and it looks like a cabbage and the script underneath it isnt even centered. Way over priced for the work done. My kitchen tattoo I got when I was 17 looks better than this

I arrived with money to spend but the customer service was less than desired... The artist kept talking about cost and didnt appear to take much interest in the necessary steps to realize the tattoo...This was irritating considering I didnt expect free service... And I had a pocket full of $$$$.... My conclusion is to keep my money for businesses that appreciate and show interest when trying to give them $$__

Went in when they had the 20th anniversary celebration and got two pieces done. Both came out amazing and were done quick. Everyone there was amazing. Will totally be coming back for more work

After being ignored and turned away by a few places Frank from Body Language took on our challenging design and, after helping us tweak it, executed it well. Super pleased with staff and environment.

I didnt have a long wait. I did see Isiah, he repaired a new tat that I recently got and it looks better than the original.

I went and got my first and only tat.a simple letter j on my neck...what a mess. iwas questioned by others..wtf...looks like an 8 year old didit. iwas told at the time come backfor a touch up.six months later i got the courage to go back and was physically threatened simply for showing his wrk to his colleges...several frowned at the work but once it was known i got it at this shop i was offered no recourse.....manager did not even step in to assist me.. after verbal threats from artist i left.......if u need o pic ..just ask

I was able to get a touch up done by Aaron best time spent. The place looks small on the outside but the inside is nice and prices are competetive with the surrounding areas.
