Went with my daughter, granddaughter, and my daughters niece, we took forever to pick out our jewelry. The girl helping us was wonderful!!! She was friendly, patient, and very helpful!! Ive had many piercings in the past, the girl that did my 2 piercings was awesome. I had my nose and daith on one side pierced, I hardly felt either one and both are doing so well, 2 weeks after. Cant wait to go back and have more piercings done there.

I booked my appointment with Bob a month in advance for my first tattoo. He is a very in the moment artist and I love that he takes the time to come up with original designs for each person. I got a saxophone, a banner with words, and music notes. The level of detail Bob was able to accomplish on the saxophone is amazing! It was well worth waiting for a spot in his busy schedule.

Love!! My mom and I go to evolved for all of our piercings and theyre very cleanI got a guest piercer named Rayo and she was so sweet!They make you feel very comfortable here. Would totally recommend!

I had such an amazing experience, I’ll be going back there for the rest of the piercings I want! The person who did my service took great care of me to make sure that I knew exactly what was happening and happy with every step of the process— she also answered every question I had with clear answers. All the staff I had the opportunity to interact with was absolutely wonderful and extremely polite and helpful! I highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the market for a new piercing or even just some new jewelry for a piercing!!

My daughter and I got our first nose piercings here 2 years ago. I was very impressed . This is the cleanest tattoo place I have ever been in. The people at the front counter were very nice and polite. They were eager to help out with jewelry selections. The artists are very nice, our experience was very good.We returned a year later and purchased new jewelry and had them put them in.Two years later, 9/5/24, we returned again. My daughter got new jewelry and I got a second nose piercing. I also purchased new jewelry. Our experience was just as good as the first time. If you want piece of mind I recommend them!!!!

I had a wonderful experience at this location on 9/18/24.My appointment was around 3pm and I arrived a bit early. No one was waiting when I arrived so I was taken care of right away. The front desk person was helpful and sweet, they checked me in and had me fill out the consent form on my phone using a QR code.Someone else came by to have their jewelry changed while I filled out my form so I waited for them to check in and then the front desk employee helped me pick out jewelry. I waited a bit for the customer that came in to finish her appointment and about 15 minutes after I came in the door I was going back to get my nostrils pierced by Jolly Holly.I could not speak more highly of Jolly Holly! They got the placement marks for my nostrils perfectly even on the first try (good job!). Even though Im not new to piercings I hadnt been stabbed in a while and was nervous. Holly was like a magical Fae creature comforting me and distracting me the whole time so I could relax.They had already prepped their equipment for the piercing and went over the process with me, answering any questions I had. After four breaths my piercings were done and looking fantastic! ✨My partner came with me and needed to have her jewelry changed so Holly did that right after me. It was very convient to both be able to be in the room and have our piercing tasks taken care of one after the other.Holly gave us piercing care instructions and stickers 🍬 and then walked us to the front. Im very glad Jolly Holly was the piercer there that day. It was my Birthday and they made it so fun to get my Birthday piercing. Also, Evolved runs a Birthday deal so our price was only a bit over $100.00.All in all I would recommend Holly Jolly to anyone and this Evolved was clean, easy to be in and ran smoothly.A few things to note:-This is the campus location so parking is very difficult even in the middle of a weekday and expect double the amount of pedestrians.-This location, as far as I am aware, only had stairs up to it. They are a little steep and have multiple turns in them, this is not conducive to anyone with disabilities that make stairs difficult to navigate.

If I had any complaints it would be they can be very busy at times, but that also just tells me theyre in demand! Every time Ive been here the people have been awesome. The atmosphere is great and I love all the history and information available. Each artist has a space that seems to be decorated to reflect their own style. Evolved truly seems to care about their clients and their knowledge and attention to detail is unparalleled. After being here I wouldnt go anywhere else for either piercing or tattoos. Theyve earned their reputation for sure!

Went in for 2 piercings, by appointment. Bat did a great job, explained the process before they began, started on one side and walked me through again what theyd be doing and then while it was happening let me know when the gard part was done. 6pm appointment, out by 615 and felt like they did a really professional job. I have several piercings and theyve all been done here by various techs and theyve all turned out great with proper care.

I’ve had quite a few piercings done here at Evolved!! Maybe I have a high pain tolerance or just get great piercers because I barely feel the pain!! I love how Queer friendly this place is and makes everyone feel safe!! I literally drove from Dayton to Columbus to come here! Today I got the regular eyebrow and bridge! But I also got the Medusa and horizontal eyebrow here don’t as well! They never disappoint!

I just got my first visit to fix a bad Tattoo that i had done a while back (not from this place tho), and my tattoo artist Brigh made a GREAT JOB!My tattoo its not done yet, but it already looks amazing!,Im so happy with the job shes doing on fixing my tattoo, shes very friendly and works with me to make sure that Im leaving with a good tattoo, I definitely recommend to come here! Great ppl, and great service 👏 👍 😁

The staff all had wonderfully positive attitudes and were attentive and helpful. Amanda did my piercing and was so nice and patient. They were pretty busy but werent rushing anybody taking time to decide on jewelry which is amazing. It was a very positive experience and Ill definitely be visiting again!

Fantastic experience start to finish! The jewelry selection was amazing. Had my rook pierced by Christine. She was so kind! The studio was very busy but she took her time to explain everything she was doing. Will definitely return!

Got a tattoo with Charity, and it was not only an amazing piece of art but an amazing experience all together. She makes sure you’re comfortable and that the tattoo is perfect. She is such an incredible artist and person I can’t recommend her enough!

Great place. Glad they had a small parking lot, staff was friendly and helpful and my piercer was comfortable doing my nipples even with it being different after having a double mastectomy. I couldnt be happier with the results. 10/10 recommend

I LOVE Evolved❤️🔥❤️. The service is great, everyone is always so helpful and polite, and its a very clean and sterile facility. While all the piercer at this location are great, Amanda is my favorite piercer in this world. Ive had so 9 total piercings and all have healed without incident. Dont give it a second thought. Go get pierced 😁😁😁

Ive gotten my septum and vertical labret done here and both times were overwhelmingly positive! Very friendly and helpful piercers that answered any and all questions I had. I recommend Evolved to anyone looking to get piercings or tattoos!

Absolutely recommend 100%. They were so good piercing my daughter’s ear lobes. I wish I had their names in front of me, but the 2 piercers who did hers were absolutely amazing to my little human 😊!

Bat was great by walking us through each step of my daughter’s nose piercing. We were well educated on after care. Everything was clean and I left feeling assured that we went to the right place. Bat was very professional and likable! We will be back.

Took my 8yo to be pierced and when I say the piercer, Sosa, was SO patient, made sure my child made an informed decision and was so amazing... there arent words to describe how grateful I am he took the time to make such a huge moment a positive experience. We will be coming back soon for our other son!

I’ve gotten a total of 13 piercings here and have only ever gone here. It is on the more expensive side but you definitely get your moneys worth and have never had any issues with anything. The service is professional and friendly, the jewelry is always high quality and I never worry about not having a good experience. Couldn’t recommend more for piercings!

My kiddo wanted ears pierced and I took them to Evolved to get it done properly by a professional. The piercer explained the process to my child and also impressed that my child could change their mind and say no at any time. This happened right as it was getting started, and the piercer immediately stepped back. Not only was there no guilt or pressure, but he praised my child for saying no. There was no charge. I bought a new earring for myself so I could tip him. If and when my kiddo is ready again, we’ll go back to Evolved.

It was a great experience. Went as a walk-in for tragus and lobe piercings. The staff were friendly and courteous even though it was really busy. Service was fast and had great quality jewelry. The piercer was experienced and competent. He put me at ease and did a great job. Overall awesome experience.

They were terrific! I haven’t always had great piercing and tattoos experiences, but when I went in, they answered my many questions kindly and the piercer was super cool and very concerned with making me feel comfortable. Definitely recommend 😊

Lacey was my tattoo artist and she did a great job! It was my first time getting a tattoo and she was very thorough in her explanation and instructions to me afterwards. Lacey was professional throughout the whole process and really put me at ease. She did an amazing job and I am very impressed. Highly recommend!

Great experience. We had a wait time because it was Friday the 13th and each piercing was 13.00. We didnt mind. Vert professional. I had my second holes reopened. I had my second holes done when I was 13, and Im now 62. I had the earrings out for about 10 plus years. I really have no pain from having my skin on the back of my ear reopened. Very sterile instruments and was told ahead of time what was going to happen. I would totally recommend EVOLVED BODY ART. A+

I believe Jose was my piercer today, He was very kind and attentive, He had me in and out in about 10 minutes and was very gentle and quick! I really enjoyed this experience and will definitely be coming back for future piercings!

Jared was very patient with my daughter. She had a lot of questions and she was very nervous. He went really slow and walked her through all the steps. She loves her ear rings!

This was my first time at a real piercing/tattoo studio, and it went great. They made me feel comfortable. The service was friendly and fast. I will come back when I get my second piercing!

I came in for a nostril piercing and was pierced by Clair, they did an amazing job with the piercing but I realized I wasn’t happy with the placement which was no fault to them at all. They were so patient and sweet when I came back to re-pierce it and as unpleasant as a re-piercing always will be they definitely helped make it more comfortable. The old hole is there but not noticeable because both times were beautifully done and it’s perfect anyways!

Evolved is a gem. Took my 14yo in for a nostril piercing and everyone was wonderful. Welcoming and super helpful. They guide you with jewelry choices, and Javi (her piercer) was so great. Calm and kind, and answered any questions happily. Highly recommend them!

Evolved Body Art is the BEST! I have had Paul do my tattoos and he is the most AMAZING AND BEST ARTIST AND PERSON EVER! I won’t go to anyone else. My tattoos are all about the people that I have lost in my life and Paul was truly caring about my tattoos that I got. He really cares and that is the most important thing to me! He did my tattoos PERFECTLY AND I LOVE THEM! Because of him, I feel closer to my Dad, my grandpa and my grandma! I’m so happy I found Evolved Body Art and Paul was and is my artist!! My first tattoo and such a good experience! I couldn’t have gotten a better tattoo artist than Jillian! So kind and thoughtful and wanted to make sure I was comfortable and got the size and style of my tattoo in a way that would make me happiest. We talked the whole time and she’s a great conversationalist I can’t be happier with my tattoo and the pricing was just right. Not too cheap to feel like you’re paying for low quality work and not too pricey. If I get more tattoos I will for sure go back!

I got my vertical labret done today. It’s my first professional piercing done (two nose and four ear piercings at home) so I was a tad bit nervous but they were so sweet! Everyone I spoke with was kind, informative, and just a beautiful person overall. Thank you guys for making my experience so cool and memorable. I had a great experience and I’m definitely coming back!

Ive had nothing but good experiences at Evolved. I get a few piercings here once a year using their birthday discount, which I recommend. Every piercer Ive had has been quick and efficient and happy to answer any questions. One of my lobe piercings fell out and they were able to get it back in for me in the span of a few minutes at no cost. Everyone working the front desk area has also been super friendly.

Excellent experience with Sosa! I brought my son in for his birthday to get his nose pierced, along with mine. Sosa explained everything throughly and walked us through the whole experience. Well be back!Editing to add: I went back two days after my piercing for a tattoo (my first!)! My appointment was with Ravyn, and she was phenomenal! Loved her energy and she was very detailed with my aftercare instructions. She gave me exactly what I asked for, and Im obsessed with it. This tattoo is very sentimental (my dads signature/my maiden name) and Im so happy to have had such a great experience and outcome with it. Thank you Rayvn!

Amazballs! We got our daughters ears pierced today and they were amazing. They are very busy so plan on waiting (2 hours for us) but well worth it. E has been terrified of it but our piercer explained everything, sent out calm vibes and was fantastic. Highly recommend. I will get my nostril pierced here soon!

Had a great appointment. They made it easy and fast! I can’t remember the piercer’s name but they (not sure of their pronouns) had curly red hair and lovely singing (they hummed and sang during my appointment). I received details on how to deal with any discomfort and when it would be ideal to come back to stretch a little more. All of the people up front were so friendly and inviting. I came into change out jewelry and stretch my septum so that I could stack in a way that would conceal the piercing if needed. 💜Previously I’ve been to evolved for my actual septum piercing and my nostril piercing. Each time I’ve always had a great visit.

Spenser was amazing! I came in for a cover-up and got way more than I expected. He took my inspo pics along with his creative ideas and came up with something great! I’ll definitely be back.

Our experience was amazing and our artist was very friendly and professional. She was excellent at her craft and has been piercing for like 11 years if I remember correctly. Definitely thinking about getting the other side pierced.

I drove 1 hr and 41 mins to come to Evolved Body Art, and it was worth every second/mile!!! After decades of emotional abuse and body dysmorphia, these piercings were so much more than jewelry for me, but a safe, COMFORTABLE setting was SO CRUCIAL for me. Coming from Lima, APP approved piercers were in short supply, so I was willing to make the drive to Columbus. Christine went above and beyond, making me not only feel comfortable in getting my first piercings in 30 years, but when my anatomy didnt quite line up with my desired piercings, she was able to explain how we were able to make it work with a custom piece. Getting these piercings was such a huge deal for me, and Im so glad I had such a friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable piercer to help me through the process!! Thank you, Christine!

My mom and I got pierced by Sosa! The staff was phenomenal, super kind, and educated about the jewelry and type of piercing. In love with my eyebrow piercing, Sosa talked us both through the process, making it less scary! Definitely recommend if you’re looking to get your very first piercing, or any piercing at all! :)

Always busy but they will fit you in if you’re a walk in and flexible. Tons of great staff and always visiting artists around too. Pierces and tatted here and I recommend both. You pay but you’re definitely getting what you pay for. I presume there are individual artist relationships to be made here!

I went in yesterday for my first tattoo and Ive got to say it was such a great experience. Staff was really nice and the vibes were great, wasnt a huge wait to get in either which was a welcome surprise. I had a guy by the name of Andreas do my tattoo and he did such an amazing job!! Ive been choosing Evolved for 18 years when it comes to piercings. (And my first tattoo) I attended their Friday the 13th event recently and it was a delight. I was over due for a tattoo and its hard to pass up on Friday the 13th flash. The registration process is a quick QR scan before checking in.I was pleased with the flash choices and extremely happy to have Rayven tattoo me.She explained the process/ details and made sure any of my questions were answered while setting up for the tattoo process. She even provided a positioning pillow to help get me comfortable.She thoroughly explained the aftercare I would need to provide in order to get the best outcome for healing my new tattoo.I cant wait to follow up with her for color!

We saw Sosa today for 2 lobe piercings for my 11 year old daughter. He checked in with her and her comfort level every step of the way and was so gentle and respectful with her. So grateful for his kindness and support for her because she’s afraid of needles but really wanted her piercings!

This crew is great and super knowledgeable! I came in to buy a replacement nose ring - luckily they were able to look up the exact one I wanted based on my original piercing purchase. Also, I was struggling with an old cartilage piercing and they were able to suggest and assist with a solution - it felt better instantly! Always professional.

Jess was so great. She explained the entire piercing process since I was a first timer, did such great work, and was so nice and fun to talk with. The whole process, from checking in to picking out jewelry to getting the piercings and checking out when smoothly and fair quickly. The jewelry was far more expensive than I thought it would be, but it is definitely worth the cost since its pure gold. Ill be going back for my next piercings and requesting Jess :)

Batt and the crew at Evolved, were very informative and professional for my first facial piercing. Also, very kind. I received a piercing in my right nostril. Brigh was absolutely stellar! She is extremely talented, kind, and personable. My experience was great from start to finish. The rest of the staff were also excellent and friendly. We always have the best experience with Evolved. My daughter got her ears pierced and decided on 2 in each lobe. She ended up a bit woozy by the 4th piercing and Christine saw the signs and did all the right things to make her feel better. She even sat with us after to make sure she felt good enough to go. From the moment my son and I walked in to get work done, the entire staff an ambience was perfect!They accommodated us as walked in and made the entire experience unforgettable for my sons 1st Tattoo!Robert moved a session around just to be able to tattoo the both of us for this unique experience and provided top notch work. I really had a great time here. I got my lobes and my helix done and my partner got their vertical snake bites. Our piercer was Holly, and they were fabulous!! Super calm but fun environment back in the piercing room, she’s got a steady, gentle hand and did a GREAT job on all of our pieces. I absolutely will be scheduling with Holly again. The environment itself felt very safe and inclusive, asking for pronouns and preferred names, everyone was so sweet and helpful and totally understanding when I changed my mind on my jewelry before going back to the room. I went to the high street location and again, will be going back. 💖

I had my septum done by Sosa! Hes very knowledgeable and walked me through the steps as he went along. Also lined up the piercing perfectly! Almost painless and very quick. Would recommend to anyone! Ill be going back for my eyebrow lol.

Just treated myself to a new lip ring and nose stud at Evolved, best piercing joint in the city. Ive had my lip, nose and ears done there and they are amazingly sanitary and clean. They are actively supportive of all identities and have a wonderful inclusive atmosphere.

Nicholas is amazing. His beyond anything that I could have ever expected. Seeing his work online is nothing like seeing it in person. He is so detail-oriented. He is also one of the nicest humans that I have ever met. It was very comfortable to sit with him for hours. He is kind and always made me feel very confident every step of the way.

Great first tattoo experience! My friends and I did a walk in and there were like 6 groups of people in front of us when we got there. The staff got to us SO fast it was crazy. Our artist was Lacey and she was so nice/professional! Will definitely be coming back for future work!

Ive been seeing Lacey at evolved on summit since 2017 and I can guarantee she is the best! She is such a professional and is really great at making you feel welcomed and comfortable. Ive always loved every art piece shes drawn up for me. I know I can give her an idea and when I come in for my tattoo I am going to be in love with whatever she created. The shop as whole is awesome! Very clean and professional.

@sosapiercer did such a great job on my nostril and septum. He had great communication the entire time, and was very pleasant and personable and just all around made the entire process super comfortable!! I will definitely return for another piercing in the future!

My little had been BEGGING to get her ears pierced for over a year- so for her birthday I told her we could get them done. I spent a lot of time trying to find a place that used a straight needle technique AND would pierce a toddlers ears. From the very first conversation, Evolved staff were extremely professional, kind, and willing to answer all of my questions and address all concerns.As soon as we arrived to our appointment, everyone addressed my daughter on her level. The artist we worked with (Sosa) made sure he had my daughters consent the entire process. Every step he would explain how it would feel and showed her the tools he would use.This was a very successful trip and experience. I will recommend this location to anyone looking to get their children’s ears pierced!

Jose Sosa pierced my tragus a month ago and did a fantastic job. Now that the swelling is down I went in today to get a shorter bar. I’m very satisfied with the whole experience, and will be back again.

Got my first tattoo from Biz. He was quick and focused and had me out in less than an hour. Even when the shop told me it might take more than an hour.Parking is a rough but the back lot always seems to have at least one spot open.

Another place cancelled my appointment, and Evolved had people available for walk-ins on a Saturday afternoon. Greeted and got my design ok’d by Andre. After a short wait, I was taken back to a clean, tidy, well decorated workspace. Andre greeted me. Talked to me about my design. Showed me the stencil choices for approval and talked to me about the procedure. 90min later I was done and explained aftercare expectations. I paid and tipped with ApplePay. Plenty of unisex bathrooms. Parking for about 18 in the rear.

Theres a reason why Evolved is highly recommended. Everything from the jewelry they offer, the staff, and the laid back experience. Ive gotten pierced and tattooed here and I can confidently say that Id be hard pressed to find an experience like this elsewhere. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being a part of my body mod journey.

The staff at the location on N High were absolutely wonderful. The first thing I noticed is how clean the establishment waswas. It was my first time getting a nose piercing. I couldnt be more happy about the color choice and size. Ill definitely be going back. You guys are awesome!! ❤️💥💯

Went in for a walk in piercing with my friend, I got two lower lip piercings and she got her nipples done. Sosa was incredibly professional and the sweetest. He made sure both of us were comfortable throughout the entire appointment! I highly recommend paying him a visit for your piercing needs!

My sister and I got our septum pierced by Megon. The experience from the start of booking was good. It was easy to book online, then when I emailed asking for a female piercer they had no issues. I accidentally noted my appointment down wrong and came in an hour late but they were so nice about it and took us as a walk-in. It was my 15 year old sisters first piercing and Megon was SO patient, explained everything in detail and also was wonderful at explaining aftercare. She will be doing all of our piercings now!!

I took my daughter here for her navel piercing. Our piercer was Sosa & he was amazing. He was kind, thorough, patient, fun to chat with and very clean. He didn’t break sterile technique in the slightest. The facility as a whole is very professional, clean and ran very smoothly. I was impressed and definitely happy with the service.

Very friendly staff who were very accommodating when my phone stopped cooperating with the digital sign in process. My piercer did everything he could to make it a fun and personalized experience, and got through it very quick. It took less than thirty minutes from the time I walked in to the time I was done.Overall, not a single complaint.

Sosa is hands down the best piercer in Columbus. This is my 5th piercing with him and each time was amazing. He takes his time explaining and going over everything. I got my double nostrils done by him and we spent 10 minutes deciding where to put them and they’re perfect!! I’ll always recommend him and will for sure go back when I decide I need another.

Chris (travel piercer) did a great job on my eyebrow, and my girlfriend’s eyebrow and daith yesterday. I was pierced by him when he came to ohio last year and he was just as wonderful this time around. He is a very sweet person and takes his time to ensure you’re getting exactly what you want and what works best for you. I will definitely be back to see him again next year!

I already have one tattoo from Evolved (MG) and think they are great. Then today I came in for a consultation with Mikolaj and was completely blown away. When you’re getting something permanently out on your body you want it done well and let me tell you. These folks are the epitome of professionalism combined with artistry combined with knowledge. The perfect trifecta! Looking forward to my next tattoo and many more to come!

I visited this shop earlier this year for new piercings, including a third lobe piercing and a helix piercing on my left ear. The shop instructs not to switch lobe jewelry for 8 weeks and helix jewelry for 6 months. Once I did switch (albeit pretty late for my lobes), I noticed that the second and third lobe piercings were too close together—a discrepancy that wasnt immediately evident due to the size difference between the initial jewelry used (very small) and the jewerly id now like to use.I reached out to the shop to address this issue (as they did both my 2nd and 3rd lobe piercings), and they initially assured me over the phone that the correction would be made at no additional charge, apart from the cost of new jewelry. However, during my follow-up visit, I was informed that the correction could not be comped because I had agreed to the original placement, which they framed as a matter of personal preference. They also mentioned that I had waited too long to voice my concerns, which felt unfair given their initial guidance on keeping jewelry in.I attempted to save on jewelry costs by bringing in my original jewelry for reuse, but was told that I would still need to replace half of it because half (I think the bar part) couldn’t be reused. The uneven placement of the piercings on my left ear is now quite noticeable and affects the overall look and I am not happy with it. The final solution was essentially pay for a new piercing and jewelry. Honestly pretty deflated over the whole experince. I expected to share my concerns and be met with understanding and a correction. But it felt convoluted. The piercer who did my 2nd lobe was a traveling guest so he wasnt there to offer to correct it at no cost making it so the person to correct it would need to willingly take a hit. When asked if Evolved itself and not the piercer could eat the cost it appeared to not be an option.Id like the add the staff was friendly, but the whole situation left a bad taste. At this point Im just going to let the second hole close up and get it pierced somewhere else at a later time. At the end of the day you expect a business you receive a service from to stand behind that service and offer a customer satisfactory results or sufficient solutions to problems, within in reason! I believe what I asked for was within reason. For this I cant recommend Evolved :(

My daughter and I got our nostrils pierced and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. They were busy but so organized and every staff member we met was incredibly friendly. My daughter had an incident where she felt lightheaded afterwards and they were so quick to take care of her. Super grateful and we love our piercings!

Response — I appreciate the response, but I would be interested in the photo from the security footage as all I believe all I was shown from the whiteboard was the cost differences between different jewelries. Definitely did not indicate the total would be anywhere close to $119 for one pierced lobe… I even picked a cheaper jewelry. Anyway, thank you for the time to respond but I’ve since spoke to piercer and tattoo artist friends from California and they said even there it never reaches that cost. But again, I don’t regret giving it a try and wish the business all the best as I appreciate what you stand for — it is just a bit out of market price in my opinion.I really wanted to like this place because of the reviews and because I plan to get additional piercings so wanted a good spot to do all. However, they charged me $119 for a single ear piercing with earrings that cost only $40. It was also just a re-piercing as the hole had only slightly closed up. No idea how this is possible as I’ve had my ears pierced before professionally and it was only $65 for 2 lobes with earrings. I looked up the national average cost with a gem and says the average is $20-80 so $119 seems outrageous for one lobe. Plus, there was no heads up of that cost beforehand. They only had told me the earrings cost $40. Lastly, no aftercare sheet was provided. Only verbal directions given during the piercing process. I plan to get additional piercings but will go somewhere else. I will say, the piercing itself was fine (he did tell me that I didn’t need to take my other earring out but then accidentally pulled my other hoop out. He cleaned it and apologized though so not a huge deal). But yes the piercing itself was fine, just wildly expensive for a regular lobe piercing on one ear.

The front desk staff and the peircer were super kind and professional! The front desk associate that helped me look at jewelery was very helpful and understanding of budget restraints.Ive been to evolved many times and honestly my only complaint ever is that I dont feel like appointment times are ever honored. I understand things get backed up but genuinely Ive never been seen sooner than 35-45mins after an appointment I had scheduled. I think I would prefer if they were honest that appointments for piercings are basically treated the same as walk ins.

Nor would this have been my first one either. Find somewhere else to go, it’s not worth the frustration. I’ll spend my money elsewhere. The whole experience was weird off the rip.

Brandon was amazing! He was nice, friendly and he does some fantastic work. He put great detail into my dove and made it look how i wanted it. I got this tattoo for my late brother and I am so glad that he was the artist to make it look so awesome.My mom got a tattoo on her back and he did an amazing job on it too. He helped my mom decide where to get it and really provided great advice to her. He also added a special touch to hers and it made her smile. It was a great experience for both of us.I definitely recommend going to Evolved and sitting with him.The studio was amazing too! Lots of art and things to look at. Lots of body piercing inventory. The place had a nice vibe to it.It was a busy day for them so definitely make an appointment before you go in.

My artist Jordan did a piece on my left forearm to cover up some scars from my past. I am EXTREMELY happy with how it turned out and healed up! He was super friendly and I felt like I wasn’t judged. I am super thankful for the tattoo because it hold a lot of meaning to me! Highly recommend him !!! The entire experience was over all great!!!

I had a terrible experience this afternoon. I was previously at the shop earlier in the afternoon to have my jewelry removed for an MRI scan of my head. I came back to the shop after my scan was completed to have them put back in, and the piercer in question who put them back in for me was extremely brash and rude. It’s like she was interrogating me.She started off by asking me how long the piercings had been out for and I told her a few hours for my scan. 2 min later she told me “so they’ve been out for a day?”. When she went to put my septum back in, she interrogated me about where I got the jewelry from and who did the piercing. I told her I didn’t remember. She made sure to let me know they didn’t handle 16g septums there so she would have to do her best to make it work. It was the same for my nose ring, demanding to know who did it and where I got the jewelry, and then asking who took my jewelry out this morning. I didn’t remember either of them - i have the memory of a goldfish and also my piercings have been done for years.While trying to get my nose ring back in correctly, she made sure to let me know that I didn’t need to take my piercings out for an MRI scan, unless it was for the head. I informed her my scan was in fact, for my head. Very probing and rude of her, not to mention presumptuous to give me advice on that considering she is NOT a medical professional. She couldn’t get my nose ring in correctly either, and complained whoever took it out this morning must have bent it.She “fixed it” and then told me that was as good as it was going to get, despite the fact that there was still a gap between the closing part of the ring. She then told me the inside part “might be a little wonky” but it would be fine since it’s so far up my nose. Excellent. I’m glad we’re settling for just good enough at this shop.The cherry on top was her mentioning that Evolved offered a $20 reforming process to fix any misshapen jewelry if I was interested. After THEIR STAFF were the ones to bend it out of shape in the first place. She made sure to promote herself on the way out by handing me her sticker.I will never be returning to this shop. I can’t believe an establishment like this can’t do something as simply as putting someone’s jewelry back in for them without jacking it all up. What really did it for me though was the attitude of that piercer. I think her name is Kadie? Whatever. I am never the one to write a google review but I have made an exception for this. Thank you for making an already stressful day even more stressful by making me go to another, more credible shop to fix what you messed up.

It was also awesome for him to be the artist to give my daughter her first tattoo. The place was very clean a professional. Very good experience.

I got my helix and daith pierced here and my appointment was amazing! They help talk you through the jewelry that you’d like and what would look nice for your piercing. Came into Evolved Body Art today to get some piercings downsized and window shop their jewelry selection. Upon entrance I was greeted by very friendly and helpful FOH who informed me on how to fill out their paperwork (using a QR Code). Once you fill out paperwork, they give you a sticker to denote that it has been completed and that you are ready to get pierced/get jewelry changed out/see a piercer.To be clear: I was a walk-in at this location and prior to today I had not otherwise heard of evolved body. I am from out of town and specifically chose them because they have piercers that are APP members.Jewlery selection: I worked with Sarah who is such a bright individual who listened to my preferences for jewelry and really helped me identify pieces that would work with my existing collection. Prior to coming here, I was giving up hope that I would ever get some of my dream pieces but when I tell you they have an extensive jewelry collection I mean they REALLY showcase some of the finer brands in the industry. Not only that they care for local businesses and showcase some of the smaller more local fine jewelry brands in shop (e.g. Stargazer Fine Jewlery). Sarah answered all of my questions with the upmost confidence and I was so appreciative of working with knowledgeable staff. As far as jewelry brands carried, you will note that the cost of jewelry varies greatly and they carry a lot more mainstream brands (TAWAPA, Pupil Hall, Quetzalli Jewelry, Anatometal, Modern Mood, Buddha Jewelry, Sacred Symbols, *maybe junipurr but I was so focused on everything else Im not 100% sure, and honestly probably more). Outside of threadless ends they have BEAUTIFUL rings and chains and Charms. Working with Sarah was a breeze and Im so glad we were able to work together to really achieve my main goals. I promise you that your ears will be lucky to be home to the jewelry they carry.Piercing: So I kind of had an impromptu moment where I decided I would get my rook pierced. Now full transparency, I have previously been turned down by 2 shops regarding my rook because their piercers felt that my shelf was too shallow or too close to where youd get your daith pierced. While I would never recommend an impulse piercing, I will be clear that there is no pressure at all and you can talk to the FOH staff to get a good idea of jewelry options and whether you have the proper anatomy for piercings. I mean thats why you go to an APP member, they maintain the highest of standards within this industry and are life long learners of the best practices. Sometimes it makes it feel pricy, I know some customers arent fond of paying a piercing fee and for jewelry but I promise you investing in high quality jewelry and going to experienced piercers will set you up for a happy healing journey. As I said I did get an impromptu piercing and *I* personally prefer 16g in my piercings, even lobe piercings. They do not offer 16g in store, they pierce with 18g or 14g and my rook was pierced with an 18g. *I* will be stretching that up to a 16g once healed, but I do think its important to disclose that information because some people prefer 16g. Keep in mind 18g is okay for cartilage piercings and these piercers are knowledgeable.I am so grateful that I met Clair today, they are a warm and friendly individual who takes pride in their work and it really shows. They walk you through the steps of their piercing and ensure that everything is sterilized and prepped prior to you getting in the hot seat. For someone who has vasovagal syncope sometimes, it put me right at ease and I felt so comfortable chatting and laughing with them. If you are like me and worry about fainting, their chairs are tipped back so you arent completely vertical and you dont necessarily have to worry about that sudden drop in heart rate/blood pressure. Additionally, they offer water, glucose tablets or even lollipops if you feel particularly faint. Clair is a real gem of the industry.Should I ever return to Columbus, I will stop by again 💕

Took my almost 8-year-old here to get her ears pierced for her birthday. She was nervous and cried a little during the piercing procedure, but our piercer Nick was super patient and kind. I had a great experience at evolve getting one of 2 of their custom jewlery pieces put into my pre existing septum piercing. Javier did a great job picking out the sizes to stack the jewlery and fit my anatomy well. It was a quick, cleanly and efficient experience and I would recommend anyone come to evolve for any piercing/jewlery services.

I got a free peircing for my birthday with the purchase of the jewelry. Everyone I encountered at evolved was awesome! Very friendly and helpful , they all had such a cool vibe. My piercer was amazing and such a kind soul! I believe her name was Michelle, I hope I remember her name right. But she was just such a sweet and fun person and very knowledgeable with what she does. Im very happy with my new vertical labret peircing. I went in there very unsure of which piercing I wanted to get. I thought about going with the industrial or maybe redoing my tongue since it closed up after 20 years of having it done. But then I saw a few of the girls working there that had the vertical labret and I thought it was so cute so I finally figured out what I wanted. They were all so patient with me about it. Answering all of my questions. They are very professional yet fun. I was really sad going in there but walked out with a big smile on my faceHeres why, I ended up alone on my birthday and had to go get my peircing done alone. So the piercer I had said I could have my daughter on FaceTime to watch and encourage me since she couldnt find a ride to be with me that day and everyone else cancelled plans with me or just couldnt be there for other reasons. So I was very sad but my piercer really lifted my spirits and Im so glad I got her as my piercer. She even went and grabbed another worker to hold my phone with me and took a picture a screenshot with me and my daughter on FaceTime after she did my peircing. It was a really good memory for me. And I feel like she did the placement just right. I did feel pain but nothing too bad. It was fast and easy. And I didnt even flinch or shed a tear. It was the most painful one Ive ever had done but Im sure it was because of it being my lip and the type of lip piercing it is. Ive had several lower lobe ear piercings, my nose, my tongue, and eyebrow. Now the vertical labret and it was the most painful yet the best piercing experience Ive ever had. So the pain was worth it. And she made me as comfortable as possible and cheered me on prepared me for it and had me breathe in and then out as she did it. The pain was only a few seconds and then it was fine. The atmosphere of evolved is very trendy,chill and interesting. I will be going back for more piercings and possibly even some new tatts. I highly recommend this place. Its very clean and professional. And they have really nice jewelry also.

(This was a while ago, so hopefully it’s different but i’m just now comfortable sharing); this was easily the worst tattoo experience i’ve ever had (i have 30+ and have been to several shops all over). when i came in, i had already selected my artist, reached out and had an idea in mind and asked for the art to be made in advance. when i went in the artist didn’t have it done so i had to wait. THEN the artist was inked WAY too hard on the tattoo which has left scaring as well as a ugly tattoo with poor lines that i have truly been ashamed of since the day i got it. i spent $300 on a tattoo that i truly hate.

Paul did a fantastic job on my tattoo. Will be coming back for another hopefully soon!Edit: after getting 2 tattoos, I will definitely be looking for another artist and studio. The work is great but the cost is not worth it. For reference: the snake design is bigger by an inch length-wise and half an inch width-wise than the grim reaper. They expressed that I would be putting a $100 deposit down which would then subtract from the final cost. This was not true.. both times.. I ended up paying more than I should have.. both times. I let them know of the mistake after the first tattoo so they said my next tattoo would have the deposit removed (free $100 deposit because of that mistake). I ultimately paid about the same price for both tattoos ($500+). I love them, they look great, but for imperfect tattoos that cost the same amount as a perfect tattoo? Oof. Why is it so hard to ask for good quality work at a reasonable price? Time spent on both of my tattoos took a total sum of about 3 hours. It’s my fault for not doing more research but they have a good reputation and have a high star rating on google. Also, let’s not get into what happened when one of my friends came in to get a septum piercing and they re-pierced her nostril with a taper without getting even verbal consent from her lol.

I was a walk in and was handled really well and they got me in quickly with Joe Stevens who was attentive, courteous, and did a great job. I Will definitely go back!!

I had the best experience here with Canada! They were nice and chatted with me while doing my tattoo. They took great care to make sure I liked every aspect of my tattoo and that was comfortable the whole time. I can’t wait to get more tattoos from Canada! I will definitely be back!

Best place for tattoos and piercings. I have been several times. Paul was my tattoo artist and he did amazing. I spoke with Susan on the phone before we arrived and she told us exactly when to be there for a walk in appointment. Kasey checked us in and was great as well. All around amazing customer service and experience. Will definitely be back!

I was able to make an appointment easily and get exactly what I wanted. I was pierced by Nick who is very personable and made the entire experience a breeze! I’m very grateful for not only his knowledge but how I was treated!

My best friends and I went in together to all get piercings as the last part of our girls weekend. We had Sandroni and he gave us a wonderful experience! We all three got our nipples pierced and then I also got a helix piercing. While it was painful, it was to be expected and he did it quickly and smoothly while making sure we were comfortable and okay! Definitely would recommend him for any piercing.

Got my first piercings (both lobes) here done by Elise, who did an amazing job! The whole process was super smooth, Elise was great at helping calm my nerves through the whole thing, and I am so satisfied with the results and will definitely return for more piercings and tattoos in the future.

Stretched lobes and changed out the septum ring yesterday. It was my second experience at Evolved. It was just as great as the first one, and everyone was every bit as awesome and knowledgeable. I’ve definitely found my spot in Columbus with Evolved, and I would highly recommend them to anyone else looking for theirs. Easy five stars.

Jax and Holly were great! My son wanted his ears pierced and I wouldn’t take him any other place. They were very professional and put him at ease because he was a little nervous. This our second time going to Evolved. Holly also did my daughters nose piercing.

Brigh was awesome. Tattooed me beautifully to cover past scar tissue, and was very attentive through the whole process. Taking the time to make sure I was ok, searching for a charger when my phone died, and even gave up her tablet for me to play on when I got bored. 10/10 experience and will be coming back.

Sosa was so great! He explained every thing so diligently. I have had many piercings and Ive never been taught how piercings heal and why/how to clean. He made me feel very comfortable. The person who helped me pick out my jewelry was fantastic. I could not have had a better experience. I think its extra cool some of the jewelry is made in house!

Everything was amazing! Javi was so so sweet and explained everything super well both before and while giving me my piercing. Everything was super sanitary and overall amazing experience.

Our artist Rob was kind and easy going! myself and two others went for a small walk in tattoo 1.5 hr before they closed and they were able to get all of us in. very accommodating!

I have been to Jillian L 3 times for tattoos. She is by far my favorite person at evolved for tattoos. She is very communicative, responds very fast and worth every penny you spend with her. She let me know exactly how to care for my tattoo, and responds to any questions I hit her with. :) Being in her chair several times I have never felt awkward, ignored, or not cared for. She really does care for all of her clients and is great at understanding a person and asking if you need breaks at all. Her work is always amazing and never fails to make me soooo happy at the outcome. I will always recommend her to anyone that asks, and I absolutely love Jillian and her work. A very kind and sweet artist.

Evolved Body Art are very organized and efficient in checking in appointments and walk-ins for service. There is a wide selection of quality jewelry to choose from, which I have not witnessed too often in other shops I have visited. The staff demonstrate great customer service and are knowledgeable in their craft. I was placed with Amanda and she is attentive and truly values the satisfaction of the customer! Also, the aesthetic and decor of the shop is absolutely beautiful, and I was given stickers upon check out. I highly recommend Evolved Body Art!

Jillian is the artist I always go to! I went there when she was an apprentice and now she is full go tattoo artist there! I highly recommend her! She always takes your ideas makes them come fully to life! 100/10 go see her! I’ve added some photos of the work I’ve gotten done by her! Seriously check her out!

I booked an appointment and was told when I arrived it would be a $50 deposit. I, went in for a consult, they charged a $100 deposit. Before my scheduled appointment I got sick, tested and was Covid positive. As soon as I got the result I called and emailed letting evolved know I couldn’t make it and would need to reschedule. I called to reschedule and they wanted another $100 deposit. I asked if these would come off the total - they said yes via email but when I called to schedule, no. This encourages their customers to come on in when sick and actually penalizes them when they are being conscious of wellness of the artist- I understand why this is in place but exceptions should be considered especially with Covid. From start to finish this has not been a good experience. I won’t be rescheduling.See the response, this still stands. I called in where they requested a new deposit that I was told would not come off the total. So while the email thread confirms what you’re saying, it’s just really not good practice.
