Iris studio is amazing!!! I came in on my birthday with my friends and we all three got pierced by Jake! Even though they weren’t expecting my friends to get a piercing too, they were so accommodating and were happy to provide the services to them too! It was my first piercing since I was a kid and I got one in my nostril! Jake was friendly and kind and he made me feel comfortable by being very open in telling me what was happening now then next so I wasn’t ever surprised! It went so well and my healing is going well too! The piercing rooms were so clean and you can tell they take care of the place! The receptionist was also helpful explaining the jewelry and prices and letting me ask her a bunch of questions and she explained everything effortlessly! We spent a total of 1.5 hours at the studio with signing wavers to walking out, so it was very efficient for all three of us! I will be coming back to Iris to continue my treatment and for more piercings!! Thanks you Jake and Iris Studio!

My sister and I both came to get our noses pierced. Cory did both piercings and they were painless. I’ve had many piercings and he’s by far become my favorite piercer. Thank you Cory!Update! My nose ended up swelling more than we thought and Cory was so helpful and quick to help me get a longer bar in my nose and make sure the healing process is going good. Aaron took care of my mom when she came in from Hawaii to get her third earlobe piercing. He was so knowledgeable and helped us figure out the best arrangement for her. He really took his time, never made us feel rushed & answered all of our questions thoughtfully from pricing to placement. Can’t thank him enough for making it a pleasant experience and a nice memory to have shared. Big thanks to Iris for having an exceptional staff (all the ladies at the front desk were so lovely as well.) The pricing was fair and the quality of the hardware & service was exceptional. Cannot recommend them enough!

Got a helix piercing done by Jake, he was super nice, did a great job explaining his process and answering my questions. The piercing did not hurt at all (though I know that naturally varies by person and body location). All around fantastic experience.Went back 7 weeks later to see if I needed to be downsized. There were a couple other customers in the shop but someone was available to help me right away. I asked about switching out the flat back on a healed lobe piercing I have for a shorter one. They said that since I got the earring online and not from them that they wouldn’t have a back that fit it, and that some jewelers make it so you have to buy more backs directly from them. They never had me take the earring out to look at it or asked what gauge the earring is. I went down the street to another shop and they found a back that fit in 2 minutes and switched it for me. I was in and out in 5 minutes tops. Guess Iris just couldn’t be bothered?

Super friendly and patient! They answered all my questions and handled the large amount of customers super well, I felt like I could ask for help seeing jewelry at any time. Cory was great, really professional and nice and did a fantastic job! I love my new nostril piercing.

The best place to get a piercing in Denver! The staff are courteous, patient and kind. I took my time selecting the jewelry I wanted, and Laurel was helpful in my decision of placement and curating my earring style. Aaron performed the piercing and made sure I was comfortable with the final placement before doing anything. A few deep breaths and it was done! They took their time to explain everything and make sure all questions were answered before and after the piercing. I’ve now had 5 ear piercings at Iris (plus my original two at Claire’s when I was 7 years old in 1995, we didn’t know better!) and I’ll never go anywhere else.

Iris is absolutely great! The whole team is wonderful. We worked with Cory and he was amazing. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience and made some great recommendations. She answered any and all questions about jewelry including materials, price, and how each piece would work with the ear. She was attentive and very kind.John was the person who pierced me. He had the same genuine warmth and introduced himself on the floor before taking me back to get my piercings done. He, too, answered questions about jewelry, placement, and material. John was very kind and gentle. He said, during both of my piercings, “There will be no surprises. Take two deep breaths for me” and made the space feel calm and safe. The room, tools, chair etc were clean and sanitized. The studio was stunning.I will absolutely be returning to IRIS for my next piercing experience in Denver. My daughter decided that she wanted to get her ears pierced for her 9th birthday, and I was surprising her with a trip to Denver for her birthday. So a quick google search later, I came across Iris, and this experience was amazing. Everyone was so kind and welcoming to a very nervous 9 year old. But they took the time to walk my daughter through the process and made everything as quick and as painless as they could. They are willing to answer any and all questions while we were there. Then even after we left and are now back home they are willing to answer all the questions I forgot to ask.Getting your ears pierced at 9 is a scary thing. But with the team at Iris, you have NOTHING to worry about. They take the time and the patience to help your little one (or yourself) understand the process. I cannot recommend them enough! I went in on a Wednesday evening to get a daith piercing and had a great experience! I was the only one in the shop and was greeted by Ahri, the gallery assistant. She was super nice and showed me the jewelry options for my piercing. Then, everything was autoclaved prior to going into the piercing room. John was my piercer and was very professional and talked through every step. He did an anatomy check first to be sure he could actually pierce me, which I appreciated. Everything in the piercing room was very clean! They also give you very clear after care instructions. Overall, it was a great experience, and I will be back for more piercings!

I had such a lovely experience at IRIS the other day. Mars was very helpful when I first walked in with answering my initial questions and connecting me with a piercer. I ended up getting my labret pierced with Cory who explained everything really clearly, made me feel comfortable, and pierced me so quickly I didnt even realize when we were done. Super clean, professional, and comfortable environment.

Jake was awesome. I came in with an old nostril piercing I thought had closed like a decade ago. He was able to get taper through without having to actually re-pierce anything. The jewelry wasn’t as expensive as I anticipated and the swelling went down in less than a week. When I came back to get better fitting jewelry Jake helped me one again. I will be returning for more actual piercings in the future!

I had a wonderful experience at this shop. I was a little nervous to choose IRIS as it is a bit pricier than I would usually spend but i’m so glad I did choose them. The piercer was fantastic, gentle, educational, and was fantastic to chat with. This is a beautiful shop and my piercings healed up so quickly and with no issues. I’ve never had such awesome luck with piercings healing like I did with these ones so IRIS is definitely doing it right.

This is the only place in Denver where our family goes for piercings. The staff are so helpful and trustworthy. My daughter and I got third holes in our ears together and it was perfect!

This review is 4 years late, but it’s because I had such a great experience here it stuck with me! I have some metal allergies and very sensitive skin that I was never able to heal a piercing with growing up, so in 2020 a friend recommended this studio after she had a good experience and now 4 years later I still have fully healed and open ear piercings after trying for the first 20 years of my life repeatedly and failing!! It was an investment to go for small gold studs and get pierced here, but it was definitely worth it for me.

I have always loved this piercing store, but their jewelry simply does not hold up. I have now had three piercings fall out of my ear. Each time I have brought this to management’s attention, the blame has been put back on me. The jewelry here is beautiful, but very expensive, and I have had nothing but trouble with it. My last gold piece, which was over $100, lost the gold piece from the post, and then the post fell out of my ear. Unfortunately, buying jewelry at the shop is akin to throwing your money away. I can no longer recommend their services or their products, and it leaves me very sad.

In April of 2023 I came to Iris to get three piercings on my ears. I got two on my upper cartilage in one ear and another loab piercing on the other ear. My piercer was Aaron. He was friendly enough during the piercing process. But the second I left and walked out of Iris is was incredibly painful to walk, which continued on for the rest of the day. I didn’t think that was normal as I have 10 ear piercings already and that has never happened before. About 5 days after the piercing I developed a staph infection on the two upper cartridge piercings. I can not 100% contribute that to Iris but it is worth mentioning. Over the next year my piercings would just not heal at all. I did all the right things, cleaned them with saline 2 times daily, didn’t touch them, was very cautious with anything around my ear, slept on a travel pillow..but to no avail. All three piercings hurt 99% of the time, scabbing over, bleeding, crusting. I finally went to another highly respected piercer and asked them if something was wrong with them and it took her one second to tell that the piercings were done at an improper angle. She could easily see this was done on purpose and not just a mistake as all three were incorrectly pierced. She said if they were not healed by now, a year later they never would and the only option was to take them out. Which of course I knew, since again I have multiple piercings already and understand the correct healing process/time. And a year is most definitely not that, especially for a loab piercing. I had to remove all three, almost 800$ spent at Iris down the drain, all that time I put in to trying to heal them. I called Iris to let them know my concerns and what had happened. I believe I spoke with Laurel (possibly Arhi?) and she really could not have cared less. Because of course they got their money, not their issue now (this is not what she said but it was abundantly clear). She tried to assure me that Aaron would not have let anyone leave if the piercing was not 100% perfect (that made me Lol…cause ya ok…) and this had to have been my doing, maybe I touched it one time (yes one time would have caused this according to her ) . Which is 100% false as again I have had multiple piercings in the past with no issue. Another piercer took one look at them and cringed (when I went in to get 3 new earrings from her, so she lost money telling me to take those out! No reason for her to lie, quite the opposite). I did ask to be compensated for some of the money I had spent at Iris, but no the only thing they would offer me is to be re pierced for free (ya freaking right, that’s laughable). Compensate me free piercings, how much is that $90, no thank you. I wouldn’t trust that shop with any ounce I have.

I got gold daith piece of jewelry that was well over $300. I’ve had it for less than a year and the diamond has fallen out. Aside from that it’s a cool shop, used to be my favorite.

Great customer service!I stopped in unplanned when my nosering fell out during a trip. The person that greeted me accommodated me quickly, explained the options, and double checked pricing.Penny was great with their offer to put the new ring in for me, and double check sizing for the interior piece. I left with two new rings. I love the selection and definitely would go back there for more if I lived here.

I went in so nervous, because the last time i got my nose pierced at a different shop was a nightmare I passed out and it was placed crooked , but the guy who pierced both sides of my nose at IRIS made me feel so comfortable. I thought for sure I wasnt going to be able to go through with the second one, but it was a walk in the park.

Decent place and would return. I think there was a communication piece that was a little lacking. Sometimes the client doesn’t always know all the right questions to ask so it’s better for the piercer to take on a bit more of an educator role even if it’s just buying jewelry.

They were very professional and clean. A bit pricey, but the quality is worth the money. I appreciated that they made sure we were well-educated on our new piercings before walking out the door.

I called asking if they had a specific piece of jewelry, I ended up wasting the money to get there. They didnt have the jewelry I needed since my bottom was making my top migrate. My original piercer had quit. I was told by the piercer (Aaron) that my piercer was inexperienced, my piercing would never heal because I didnt have the anatomy. This piercing was thought out for 2yrs, & other piercers even said itd be fine. I was told I couldnt take the piercing out in the store & Id have to pay to have it removed. I decided to go elsewhere & they had what I was looking for, & said it will heal. It was irritated & thats what disrupted my healing process. Plastic was put in instead and I got a smaller ball for both my bottom and top piercings. It was cleaned, and the extra fluid from irritation was pushed out gently and the piercing cleaned. It looks normal and feels much better. Nothing is rubbing against my skin anymore either, nor the jewelry rubbing. Maybe you shouldnt shame other piercers, & humiliate anyone who comes through the door. My original piercer is the one who told me that she couldnt do anything but did give me the advice that it needed different jewelry. Heres the before & after pictures, my piercing will heal. Even a picture from a few weeks ago before it started migrating a few days ago.

I think one was Taylor?) were super careful, explained everything they were doing, and were clearly taking a lot of care to be super hygienic. 10/10 would get pierced here again.

Amazing shop. Went to Iris for a forward helix piercing but due to the structure of my ear which was determined during the anatomy consult - was advised on several other options that would heal and be more comfortable. Great knowledge and support * shout out to Laurel and Jake for being phenomenal and going above and beyond ! I decided to do a helix piercing and a tragus both of which I am super happy with.The jewelry selection ranges in price and style from titanium to 14K gold. The range of price reflects that. I opted to do a mid range and lower range for the healing period and then on my bar size change purchase another set in the upper price range. I Would absolutely recommend this shop for your next piercing.

The online portal made the booking process hassle-free, and they provided clear instructions regarding the required documents for minors. Came here to get my nose pierced in January. Piercer was incredibly professional and had a painless process. However, I came back 9 months later to get my jewelry changed to a hoop. It was apparently the piercer’s first day and I don’t think he should have changed my jewelry after assessing it. The process hurt so much, I was in so much pain and my piercing was bleeding a lot. A couple days later, I developed an infection on the piercing site that took weeks to heal. The hoop has scratches all over it from the pliers and is not fully closed so it has a gap even though it is a “seamless” hoop. The whole process was expensive and painful so I am reluctant to go back and get my jewelry swapped out again.

Got my daith pierced here- I had never gotten anything outside of the lobes but Aaron explained everything perfectly, prepared me for the feeling of it, and did an excellent job with the piercing itself! GO HERE!!! I will never go to another piercing shop because of how amazing Iris is. John was my piercer and he was the best! I got my septum done and he helped me choose jewelry, walked me through the process + aftercare, and helped me calm down during the piercing since I am a baby when it comes to needles. It was the least painful piercing I’ve had done - he is the man!! The jewelry selection is incredible and while it is a little pricier than other shops, it is well worth it. Cannot recommend Iris enough :)

Iris created a great experience for a first timer in body piercing. I was nervous at first, but later got comfortable after meeting the staff. They are patient and very informative. Jake was a wonderful body piercer, patient and super knowledgeable. I really didn’t feel a thing and laughed after it was all done. They are bit pricier than others, but you truly get what you pay for. The experience and expertise is 10/10 . Would definitely recommend.

This studio did a fantastic job piercing my daughter’s ears, and equally did a great job on my nose piercing. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and really use their experience and expertise to find the perfect placement of your piercing. The one downside (if you can call it that) is that their jewelry is all pretty pricy, though you are paying for high quality jewelry. I’d rather pay a bit more to get a better product, but this might move IRIS out of some people’s budget comfort because of this. Another downside can be finding parking, but it’s usually possible to find something within a block or two. Just be careful of where you’re parking and that you’re not in a permit parking only area.

Great experience today with Corey. They were professional, friendly and explained the process clearly. I had my third lobes and helix done. Loved the jewelry selection - I opted for gold/opal because these will be in for awhile and I wanted something to match my style but they do have a large selection of more economically priced options.

Paid $300 for a diamond nose stud 3 months ago. Diamond fell off when I was asleep and “nothing can be done”. Also piercing got infected after rinsing with saline 5+ times a day. Go to a place that cares about its customers AFTER they pay hundreds for “quality” jewelry.

Had two piercings done with them so far and they’ve been wonderful. I also love their selection.

I called 10 minutes prior to closing, not expecting anyone to pick up and Jenni did. I had a concern about my piercing, and Jenni was able to see me early in the afternoon the following day. She gave me great advice about the issue that I was having and encouraged that there was a solution. So thankful that Jenni was able to help so quickly. I am happy looking forward to coming back to replace the piercings with her soon. I will keep coming back because the piercers and staff are always so kind, knowledgeable and willing to help.

So many good things to say about this place. I worked with Laurel for close to one hour over the course of two days to decide which piece of jewelry I wanted for my tragus. Laurel was so kind, patient and knowledgeable. She was easy to talk to and so helpful. I was so pleased to hear she was working the following day for my actual piercing. I was a tad nervous, and Laurel calmed my nerves :). She is awesome!I was scheduled with Jake. We started right on time. He was also laid back and calming as I was a little anxious. He did a stellar job on the piercing itself. I have had almost no pain and the position is perfect. He provided detailed instructions for after-care.The organization as a whole is incredibly well-run, their jewelry is top notch and so is their staff. I would highly recommend coming here!

Beautiful jewelry here. I haven’t ever seen such quality jewelry options in a piercing shop. They even have Suzanne Kalan, I’ve only seen her jewelry in Santa Barbara! But what is somehow even more amazing than the selection are the people who work there. Laurel and Arhi were so patient with me as I decided what jewelry I wanted. I came in 3 times and they were so kind. Aaron pierced my nose and tragus. He is very genuine and made my nervous self feel comfortable. He is so experienced with piercing that both piercings hurt less than my earlobes and original nose piercings that I had done years ago. I was in total disbelief that he was finished already. Plus the healing has been SO much better than my other piercings too. I definitely suggest going to IRIS. Especially if you want your piercings to be meaningful!

Amazing experience. I was terrified to get my piercings and I’m happy I picked this place. The ladies in the front are amazing and made the experience so much easier. The piercer was very thorough even though I probably asked silly questions as a newbie. The atmosphere is so much different than a dark tattoo place, it’s all boogie, and I loved it.

I had a really great experience getting my first nose piercing here. Everyone was super helpful and accommodating, even after I changed my mind about the jewelry at the last minute. I cannot recommend IRIS enough - they came as a recommendation from all my good friends. Super easy to schedule a piercing appointment online as well as rescheduling if needed. I appreciate their QR consent forms and electronic organization, including instructions for downloading aftercare instructions. IRIS also provides text support for aftercare which is a great perk.John did my piercings this past week and they were phenomenal. Easy to talk to and feel comfortable with as well as thorough with what to expect. This is tough, my first time there when I was able to make an appointment for my nose piercing was great! Went smoothly and quickly. However, the second time I went to get my post shortened and was told by their website to not make an appointment, I had to wait about an hour for something that took less than two minutes to do. I would have rather made an appointment and come at the appointment time, instead of sitting in their small space for an hour.

I had the most amazing experience at this shop. Everyone was kind and helpful. Jake was very careful with making sure I was pierced perfectly. Ive been to several piercing shops and never left happier than I did here today, its obvious that this shop cares about making sure you love your piercing and that it will heal well.

I got my septum done by Jake. He was super nice and heard out my request/concern. I was worried the jewelry would be too large and dangle. He placed a perfectly sized horseshoe that actually fits my small face. After the piercing was done I became very light headed so they gave my water and a glucose tab and let me lay down. Overall very caring and considerate experience. They were a bit pricey ($92 out the door) but that was not a concern for me as the staff and studio were clean and professional.

I have been a customer of Iris piercing for a long time but I came in to get a piercing today and Ben was AWESOME! one of the best piercers I have ever worked with! He made me so comfortable and it was the best experience I’ve had. The guy who pierced my ears had great bedside manner, telling me exactly what my experience would be with each step. The lower rating is for the price. To get three piercings would have been over $1,000 with a fairly simple stud. I ended up just getting two piercings to save money, but still spent around $500 for them. You’re paying for the backs and fronts separately, and they want you to come back to get smaller backs once the swelling reduces, which just means spending more money. I really didn’t like the simplest studs that are their cheapest options, especially for earrings that will stay in for a few months. When I came home, my boyfriend’s response was “those are really nice, but they look like you should have spent $60 on the earrings.”Good quality, great staff. Even knowing that quality products means you’ll spend more, I still think that their pricing is a little outrageous.

Cant recommend them enough. Monica was really considerate and helpful, did a phenomenal job explaining each stage and making sure all my questions were answered. They take care to make you aware of how to follow up with any concerns or next steps and they have a great collection of jewellery to boot.

Had such a nice experience with Aaron and the assistants today for my septum and tragus jewelry change out. He helped me out with piercings I’d had done elsewhere to make sure all the jewelry and post lengths were right for comfortable wear. I’ll never go anywhere else! I cannot stress how much I love Iris! My best friend and I went everywhere looking for a place to get piercings, and Iris was recommended to us. We didn’t have appointments, but the staff was so sweet and accommodated us as walk ins. Everyone was so helpful. We got pierced by Kenny and he was phenomenal! He walked me through the entire process and let me know what he was doing every step of the way. Everything was very clean and sterile. 10/10 recommend. Great experience!

I came in to IRIS to get my nipples pierced. Everyone was professional and friendly and the studio and piercing room were very clean. Aaron first did an anatomy check to make sure the piercing would be a good fit. He took some measurements to make sure the jewelry was the right size which I was super relieved about because the wrong size jewelry can cause many unnecessary problems! Aaron was super knowledgeable and friendly and helped to make the best of the experience. He answered all my questions and gave clear and simple aftercare instructions. The piercing in general hurts quite a bit but Aaron was quick and gentle. A couple weeks after my piercing, I got a few follow up texts from the studio checking in on me. My piercings are healing nicely so I didn’t have any concerns but they are always available if you need to reach out!

Small biz, clean and professional. Everyone was sweet and business was taken care of quickly and carefully. I will come back to make a purchase of another high end piece soon. Iris has a range of options that are all high quality materials and displayed so it’s simple to select posts and jewels. Parking was easy ally afternoon. Wow! This place was more than I expected for my first experience at a piercing shop. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with my nervousness of getting my septum done. I have always wanted to get this done and Iris studios did not disappoint. I am in love with my jewelry and Jake made sure it was placed in the perfect spot! I cannot say enough good things about the piercer I had, Ben. He explained every step of the process (including aftercare) and worked with me to find the best spot on my ear for my piercing. He also noticed a different piercing that didn’t heal right so took the time to discuss different options I could take to fix it. The staff are all helpful and knowledgeable. Getting my first piercing here was a great experience, but tonight was just terrible. I told Darby I had a piece of metal stuck in my earlobe, and he disagreed with me, telling me my earlobe was just slightly irritated. When I agreed to the risk of having new jewelry put in, he put a piece of jewelry in my unaffected ear, and then proceeded to move on to the one I thought had metal in it. We discovered that I was correct about having a back piece stuck in my lobe as the new jewelry was obviously physically impossible to insert. I was upset because I didnt want to argue against the health policy by trying to get a refund on the piece of jewelry he had already inserted into my unaffected ear, but I didnt want just one earring without the other to match once this issue was resolved. My whole point being is he should have made sure that there was a piece of metal in my earlobe before putting jewelry in my unaffected ear. I felt like I had to make a decision that I was uncomfortable with either way at that point. I wasnt offered any discounts, or any leeway on the price of the jewelry, or the insertion fee. Granted, I didnt have the nerve to ask them at the time, but I thought for a professional piercer, this was highly unprofessional on his part. I will not be recommending this shop to anyone in the future.

I first went to Iris on a visit home to Denver years ago and after that visit if I wanted a new piece I made sure to make it a priority during my trips home. My nostril, septum and a discrete piercing were all placed well and healed great. I appreciate how safe and comfortable I felt in the shop. Consistently everyone there is kind, warm, and welcoming. They make an effort to make sure each customer is educated on their piercings and aftercare.After years of not visiting the shop, I recently moved back to Denver and stopped by today to look at replacing some of my jewelry. Just how my first visit was memorable for how helpful everyone was, today’s visit was above and beyond. Even though I didn’t have an appointment today multiple people in the shop helped me with my selection and went as far as fitting me in to make sure everything was properly fitted. Iris piercing is a very professional and clean store. As a 40-something woman with no piercings I was nervous about going in and it was important I find a clean comfortable place. The employees were very kind and professional. I felt very comfortable there. Both my daughter and I got piercings. Our piercer was very patient and kind and set us both at ease. He explained exactly what he was doing while he did it and he did a great job. I highly recommendj and would back again.

Ive had over 25 piercings before I came to Iris piercing today, and I had one of the best experiences Ive ever had getting pierced. I got all my other piercings through tattoo shops, and while they were good, they didnt have a great atmosphere. Iris has a very calming and clean atmosphere, and while it is MUCH more expensive than a piercing at a tattoo shop, I think its worth it, especially for more difficult to heal piercings. I was pierced by Aaron and he was awesome! Super great personality, super knowledgeable about piercings and watching him balance all the customers (it was pretty busy) was a level of professionalism Ive rarely seen in other piercers. While these 2 piercings were very likely my last piercings ever, I would absolutely return to Iris if I ever decide to get more.

I went to the shop in Boulder for a septum piercing and it was a great experience! Every staff member was super kind and knowledgeable, and the facility was super clean, the room I was pierced in felt like a doctors office. Jewelry was sanitized before I was pierced. The piercer was super careful and skilled, Im not kidding when I say I didnt even know when the needle was in my nose. Not painful at all. Definitely would go back if I ever want another piercing! Jewelry is a bit on the expensive end, but its all very high quality and IMO thats worth it for something that will be literally in an open wound.

My experience at IRIS was top-notch from the moment I walked in the door. Im so happy that I decided to go there for my nose piercing. The women in the store front were warm and welcoming, especially since I walked in rather close to their closing time on a Friday. They explained everything well, and gave great advise choosing my first piece. The jewelry selection is deluxe. Kenny was fantastic- hes friendly and calming, the placement was perfect, (it felt more like a pinch than pain), and everything was so clean and organized.Finally, they sent a follow-up text and email to be sure that I was doing well. Superb experience- I recommend HIGHLY!

Maybe good for basic stuff but more complicated things are not their strong suit. I went in to get my rook to conch industrial bar changed. The girl at the front was great and told me she wasnt sure either of the piercers in that day could do it but then after talking to both piercers one of them expressed their confidence in doing the job.He had to bend the bar and chose to make it shorter. A day later my ear (healed for 12 uears) was sore. I figured it was just adjusting to having been messed with. A week later it was clearly not happy at all. Swollen, red, sore. So I took the bar out (Im sure the bend and length were not right and that was the issue). Once it was out it was also clear he hadnt given me the correct color bar end. Have since replaced with other jewlery and both piercings are again happy.

Honestly, this was the best piercing experience Ive ever had! This review is long overdue... I got my helix pierced here almost 7 weeks ago. It had been over 10 years since my last piercing, so I was definitely a bit nervous - But everyone here was so nice and made me feel so comfortable. The gallery assistants who were working that night (Amanda, Arhi, and Laurel) were all so friendly - They helped me out right away, walked me through my initial jewelry options and answered any questions I had about the earrings. My piercer was John, and he was fantastic! He walked me through the process beforehand and talked me through every step while he was piercing me so there were no surprises - He even had me do deep breathing exercises during the piercing to ease any potential discomfort... and it wasnt painful at all. They also reach out periodically to check in on your healing process, which is super nice.Overall, I just really appreciate how helpful and friendly everyone was. We even ended up chatting with them all for like 10 minutes afterwards since there wasnt an appointment after mine haha. I cannot recommend this studio enough!

I got my nipples pierced here and had a great experience. Aaron was very professional and polite. He made me feel comfortable and educated me on how to care for my piercings after. I went alone so I was a bit nervous, but one of the employees offered to be in the room with me to squeeze her arm. It is a bit pricier compared to a normal piercer in a tattoo studio, but this is a specific piercing place so the price is worth it.

They’re jewelry is so pretty. They have jewelry for different body parts & sizes, like gages. The staff is very friendly & informative. They’re very knowledgeable which is why I keep coming back. Ive been here for jewelry, help with changing out jewelry & even gotten pierced as well. I absolutely love the attention the staff put into it. It’s pricey jewelry but it’s real gold & I believe they have silver & such as well. I’ve been going here for over two years & will continue to do so! Highly recommend it to everyone.

Super clean, super fast! I have not gotten a new piercing in over 20 years, so I was super nervous. I have wanted my nose pierced since I was 18. I finally got it done. The sterilized everything and did a great job. They made me feel super comfortable. They were also super helpful in helping me pick out my jewelry. My nose didnt even swell! Highly recommend!

I recently got a navel piercing here and it was the best body piercing experience I’ve ever had! The piercer explained everything as he did it and everyone there was very nice. I’m transgender and the name on my ID is different than the name I gave for my appointment and it wasn’t an issue at all. While some may be apprehensive because of the price, just know that it’s worth every penny since they use high quality internally threaded titanium jewelry. I will definitely be coming back for all my future piercings!

I had Ben as my piercer, he was amazing!! I was going to get my ears re-pierced but he inspected them and let me know they were still open and I only needed to put some jewelry in. He saved me money and I’m very grateful for that! He also pierced my boyfriends nose and was so careful to make sure it was perfect. We had a great experience and will definitely come back :)

This was my first time getting a nose piercing. When I walked into IRIS Studio, Denver location, I was immediately greeted by Breanna. She was super helpful and patient in answering my questions. Kenny took great care in piercing my nose. I was pleased to know they use new needles for each customer. They also use the finest metals. I have super sensitive skin and chose the 18k rose gold stud. My piercing looks super cute.

Ive used Iris Piercing Studio twice now and both times have been awesome! The staff is super friendly, knowledgable and willing to help with anything. All of the piercings Ive had done here have never given me issues, infections or healed improperly.More recently, I had my tragus pierced and the overall experience was very pleasant and exceptional! Annika helped me meticulously pick jewelry; moving back and forth between cases, showing me studs I had already seen but wanted to see again. She was very patient and kind.The piercing was done by Jake - very professional and friendly. The entire process was a breeze and to be honest, the least painful piercing Ive ever had done.I highly recommend Iris and will return again.

Super professional and friendly, the shop was super clean. Hannah and Tyler (my piercer) were extremely helpful while checking me in and answered all of my and my husbands questions. I was sized for my jewelery, shown the jewels to choose from for my barbell, then taken back to the room once the jewelery was properly sterilized. Tyler wiped down the counters and table before and after I sat on it, explained what he was doing, and tada! I was all done.These guys rock, I highly recommend their services.

My 6 year old wanted her ears pierced for her birthday. We were drawn to Iris because they follow strong COVID protocol. We were their first appointment on a Sunday. We received a warm welcome and great attention from the staff. They have a nice selection of 1st time earrings. Harrison, who did her ears, likes working with kids. He was patient and playful with all her questions and a calm, experienced presence. It is pricey, but it was worth the great experience and result.

The staff here are amazing! Amanda was so friendly and welcoming, and Harrison who did my piercing was knowledgeable, calm and did a great job! I would 100% recommend iris, as the staff here are engaging, friendly and talented. Can’t wait to go back!

I made an appointment weeks ago and arrived early and still ended up waiting almost 40 minutes to be pierced. They obviously were overbooking and taking too many walk-ins. The piercer was going back to back for what I can imagine all day- with no breaks in between. People deserve breaks! Please account time for that. Even if it’s just 5 minutes in between, or every other piercing. John (the piercer) was lovely and made me feel very comfortable. I would like to see people not being so overworked. Otherwise, good experience!

Iris has been kept exceptionally clean and the staff is so friendly! Their sanitation practices made me feel so comfortable. I got a few piercings from Kenny who was so nice and genuine, he was quick but made sure everything looked perfect. Their jewelry selection is great and fits every price point! I will not be going anywhere else if I need another piercing or to switch some jewelry out, I highly recommend Iris!

Hands down the cleanest, nicest piercing shop I’ve been to. They have a great selection of higher end pieces, and it is comforting to know everything they’re putting in your body is high quality and less likely to have any sort of reaction. Staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the entire selection and process, it’s definitely a place that makes you feel comfortable. I also appreciated that they put everything I bought in a sanitizing machine prior to my piercing and they made sure to show me the confirmation of sanitization before moving forward. Highly recommend this shop if you’re thinking about getting a piercing in Denver.

Very positive interaction for my spouse respective of her selected jewelry piercings. Very professional and friendly staff. Recommend for mens piercings but especially for women. It is a very good place for these types of jewelry selections.

I got my daith done for my birthday and it was a great experience. I was super nervous but Kenny reassured me and was very pleasant. He made sure everything was clean, told me about aftercare, and even told me it looked great (He might always say that but mine looks hella good)Their in store jewelry is a little pricey and didnt match prices I saw online.My piercing didnt hurt getting it, was a little tender but after a week it feels fine!Overall, I will be back and id recommend any of my friends family to go here as well.

I had a great experience at iris! The staff kept things moving smoothly & were extremely friendly despite how busy it was! Kenny did my septum piercing & I love it!! I walked in and I was accommodated with in 15mins. Kenny made me feel super comfortable. I was a little nervous. He assured me it was one of the easiest piercings to get & he was right! It went super quick and he twisted up my ring to heal in hiding (due to work). Iris had a pretty great selection of jewelry in shop that Ill have to come back and check out. Someone recommended Iris to me & I am super happy they did. This is my kind of shop friendly, functional , sanitary, & straight to the point! :)

I’ve gotten many piercings over my life and have never had a better experience than when I went to IRIS. The employees are professional, knowledgeable, and definitely are looking out for their customers. While it is a bit on the expensive side, I find the price to be 100% worth it.I got my nostril pierced and went back in a few weeks later to get a shorter back however, it wasn’t quite ready for the size I wanted and instead of giving me one a little shorter and just taking my money, they were straight up and said they would be happy to replace my backing if I wanted but it would be better and save me money if I waited a few more weeks and came back in when it healed even more. I already trusted them but that made me trust them even more.TLDR; if you’re thinking of getting a piercing done, look no further. You can trust IRIS to get the job done well and take great care of you.

I went to The Iris in Denver today and had a wonderful experience. The staff was warm, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I was planning to get a tragus piercing, but they discouraged it due to the shape/size. I loved that they were looking out for what would work best for me instead of just making the sale. I would highly recommend them to all. So impressed with overall experience and the details along the way.

I was so nervous about getting my nose pierced. I really thought it was going to hurt because my nose is a little plump. But the piercer, Kenny made it a very pleasant experience. He’s professional and charming all at the same time. The ladies in the shop are also very professional and pays exact attention to detail on what the customer wants. I would recommend the shop to anyone looking for a piercing. They do a wonderful job and you’ll be very happy that you came there.

I had a great experience at IRIS yesterday. I had the ear cartilage piercing with Aaron. He was great through the entire process and explained everything as he went along. Everyone was super kind and helpful. It was also very clean and sanitary. I would highly recommend IRIS!

This place is awesome for first time pierces. I was paired up with Ben both times for my nostril and double earlobe piercings and he handle it flawlessly. Yesterday when I got my nostril pierced I hadn’t eaten and actually ended vomiting before the pierce was over. Ben handled it well immediately getting me a trash can and a glucose tablet to stabilize my blood sugar from the adrenaline rush. We ended both sessions yesterday and today successfully; this man seriously deserves a raise. Thank you Ben for everything man, seriously. - Asher

I love love love this place and their employees!!!Piercers are knowledgeable and efficient. Jewelry selection is so beautiful and high quality. The price range for the jewelry itself can be on the higher end but they offer a large selection of quality titanium as a cheaper option which I am so grateful for!Laurel and Lea up at the front of the shop are so kind and helpful. Everyone here is great and always has the customers best interest as a top priority.

After my best efforts to get my piercing out so I could get an MRI, even with rubber gloves and even tweezers I could not get this piercing out. Kudos for the firm piercing but I was like 3 blocks from the studio and ran over there and asked if they could so I could get my MRI. It was 10 minutes to 4pm and I was told they had no time before their lunch break and I couldnt be helped until 4:30pm. I explained my appointment was at the time of our discussion and the facility had waited for me to get it out. Nope. Still wouldnt help me. So no thanks for further work done here. Ill find another studio.

I had such a great experience today! I went in to get an updated and more cohesive look to my current earring situation. I have ten piercings in my ears and I wanted to change out my jewelry. Everyone was very helpful and patient. They have an amazing selection of jewelry. The store and piercing area was very clean and esthetically appealing. I am looking forward to go back to get more jewelry and piercings!

Impulsively decided to get a nostril piercing last week. I wanted to get it done somewhere quickly so I didnt lose my nerve and called into Iris. They were able to squeeze me into their busy schedule and I walked out about a half hour later with a new piercing. Everyone there was so kind and perfessional and went out of their way to make sure I was being taken care of. When I got back to work and told my coworkers about the experience they all pretty much said oh Iris is definitely one of the best places you can go for a piercing. Im glad I made the right choice and am super happy with my new addition!

I had my earlobes pierced by Aaron, who did a wonderful job. He was super nice and talked me through the whole process, reminding me to take deep, steady breaths and letting me know as soon as each piercing was done. I was pretty nervous, but he made the experience a really enjoyable one.My only regret is not spending more time browsing the jewelry before choosing one, since I would’ve preferred something with more of a gold tone. Overall, though, I had a great experience.

I’ve been to this studio twice now and each time has been an awesome experience. This time around I had my conch pierced and had zero idea which direction I wanted to go with the earring. Arhi both dealt with me wanting to see numerous pieces and needing them to actual pick which piece I would be punching into my ear (I’m indecisive, clearly). The actual piercing was quick, painless, and precise! Best of all I know they’ll be checking on me in two weeks and I can text at any time with any concerns. I will be back to get pierced and choose from their awesome collection.

I had an excellent experience getting my cartilage pierced at Iris! Kenny, my piercer, was professional and knowledgeable and made the whole experience a breeze. The rest of the people in the ship were incredibly helpful in picking out my jewelry and walking me through the next steps. I will absolutely go back the next time I want to get something done!

The entire staff were super friendly and helpful. The piercer was excellent, assisted in re-opening a piercing that I thought was closed and being very kind and professional while piercing my septum. The place was immaculate and i was walked through every step of the piercing process. He fit me perfectly so the piercing sits exactly where I wanted it and even was sweet enough to try to preserve my makeup during clean up.

I had a superb experience today at Iris! I went in for a double nostril and was pierced by Jake. He was extremely knowledgeable, clean/sanitary, answered all of my questions, and was very patient and kind. He made sure to show me all of my options for piercing locations and gave me advice on which one(s) to choose depending on my vision for future jewelry options, and I got to approve the locations before he did it! 10/10 recommend this place.

My experience at IRIS was exceptional. That staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable which made me feel much more confident and calm about getting my new piercings. They were extremely professional and kept their shop and procedures on a tight cleaning regime- it was sparkly clean! If you are hesitant about getting a new piercing (especially if it is not your standard ear piercing) dont look any further- this is the place you should go. I am about a week out of getting my piercings and have had no issues (despite the normal soreness). IRIS has even check in with me to confirm my healing process is going well. Great customer service. Huge jewelry selection, all above standard quality. The only APP-certified piercers in Denver, this is a no-brainer. For my first time there, it was everything you could want in a shop. I got a piercing here about a year ago, and the guy who did the second hole on my left earlobe had to redo it which has made it difficult to put earrings in ever since. The way the hole lined up is off. I took the earrings out to clean them and after a couple hours I couldn’t get the earring through the back of my earlobe (the piercing was fully healed). I called and asked if they could help me get the earring back in since I can’t see where to line up the funky hole, and they said sure. When I got there, they said they couldn’t help me because I didn’t have “quality” jewelry. The only way they could help me is if I went home and got the jewelry they sell. The earrings they sold me started to bother my ears after awhile so I bought higher quality earrings which is what I brought to them. I was frustrated because at a minimum I needed them to tell me if I was lining the earring post up right when putting the earring in myself or see if they could guide me to the right area for the back hole. They were less than helpful and indignant. I had to have a stranger across the hall at my apartment help me. And guess what! Easy fix! Why they refused to help me simply put an earring in is beyond me. Just because their only business is piercings doesn’t mean they are the best. None of my experiences here have been amazing, and I’ve had better luck with piercings at tattoo parlors. Not the most personable staff.

The experience was lovely from beginning to end. I went in by myself but am someone that likes input of other and all the ladies there were so helpful with picking out the best jewelry piece. Jennie was great during the piercing and talked through the whole thing. Couldn’t be happier. Will be back for more piercings!

This place is bomb!! Super knowledgeable. My piercer John had 11 years of experience!!!! I felt in such good hands with my two lobe piercings. Even with pushing it up to a 4g as I requested to get a head start on my stretching journey. Thanks again!! I would highly recommend

I took my 8 year old daughter to Iris to finally get her ears pierced. I wanted to wait until she was ready to get them done and to have a professional pierce them, rather than a mall kiosk with those dangerous piercing guns. We were thrilled with the service here. I wish I could remember the name of the girl who helped us up front. She was incredibly patient and sweet with my daughter, letting her look at as many earrings as she wanted so that she could decide on the perfect pair. Also, this place takes their cleanliness very seriously, which is so reassuring. Kenny did the piercings and was patient and calm with my daughter. It was much more expensive than I expected, but worth every penny for the peace of mind knowing it was done by a professional with clean needles and jewelry. Thank you for the great service! We cant wait to go back next month to get the shorter bars.

This studio is beautiful, showcasing high end jewelry in beautiful cases as you walk in. The staff is attentive and very welcoming. I first came to Iris in October of 2014 for a nose piercing with Steve. He and the staff were very thorough and detailed when setting up my expectations and helping me select jewelry. He took his time to ensure I would be happy with the placement. Everything felt like a very personal experience, even with what seems to be a fairly constant stream of clients walking in. (A testimate to the level of talent in the place)I returned this past weekend for a septum piercing from Steve and Im more than thrilled with the piercing and my experience. The staff was friendly and very professional. Steve was once again very careful and did a wonderful job.I highly recommend this place if youre in Colorado. 😊

Iris is a high-class piercing studio. Theres no denying it. Their jewelry selection is exquisite, their piercers are knowledgeable and skilled, and the studio is clean and well designed. A lot of time, money, and creative effort has gone into the place. Each time I go in, I am pleased with my experience, and I get what I want out of it.My only complaint lies in that the staff seems very tight knit, which is a problem for really any body modification shop. You become like family when you work at a shop that small, and its understandable, but it can deplete social energy for the customer service experience, making it easy to build a wall between the employee, the service provided, and the client. You guys are awesome. I just feel like a nerd whenever I come in. My only advice is to try and open up. Be friendly. Im sure you guys get a lot of goons in your shop, but were not all bad. :)
