My experience was awesome! I got my ears pierced in April and forgot to do my review until now. I have very sensative ears and theyve rejected every cartilage piercing before this so I am amazed how well they are healing! The staff are very nice, efficient, and pretty fast too.The price is high but look on the website and budget out what youre looking for first so you know what youre looking for before you walk in.

Emily did an excellent job with my daughter. Talked her through it and made her feel comfortable. I love that this is done by Nurses and everyrhing is done done sterile

Took our girls here for the eldest’s seventh birthday! This place has the calmest and cleanest vibe. The ladies working were incredible, informative and did such a great job at making both kids comfortable. The cute after-care bag and Certificate of Bravery were adorable touches as well. VERY well worth the cost and especially good for first timers. ❤️

Great staff. Nice experience. The prices are VERY HIGH. Do not expect to pay average shop prices. I paid for a happy daughter and to check this off my mom list, but should be cheaper. I understand the cost to staff nurses, but the prices should be available upon scheduling, rather than told 5 minutes before procedure, after pumping up your kid to get it done for days. Anyway, my kid loves them, she had lots of fun.

The people here are so kind and did such a great job. The piercing is healing so well and I loved the jewelryBut FAIR WARNING: this place is EXPENSIVE! The piercing is a flat $35 (if I’m not mistaken) and all jewelry is starting at $70 ON TOP of the piercing price. I expected to pay more for atmosphere and nicer jewelry but had no idea when I was looking it would end up being $165 for a single piercing. Significantly more expensive than anywhere else. I did enjoy my experience but I can can 2-3 piercing anywhere else for this price. So won’t be returning :’(

Our first piercing experience for our 11 year old. Dropping one star bec of the price (it’s VERY expensive) and that they ask for a tip (and charge for cleaning solution) after shelling out hundreds for piercings and earrings. We got three lobes pierced (2 new/1 re-pierce) and it was close to $600 including tip as even at 15% tip bumps up the total significantly given the base price is expensive. While it was a GREAT experience, our nurse was amazing, fair warning on the sticker shock.

I was looking for a place to get my ears pierced and found Rowan. It was easy to schedule an appointment. The nurse was very welcoming, friendly and helpful with all my questions since I already had issues with ears piercing in the past. She did a great job and I loved it!

I have six piercings total on my ears. But got my sixth last week at Rowan in my cartilage. This was my first time trying this place out. I have never had a piercing go so smoothly, as well as barely hurt just a few days later. The experience was great, the piercing was/is great, the aftercare solution is basically magic. Would recommend.

My sister and I came into Rowan to each get helix piercings done. Our first impressions were that it feels really cute & clean. Brought my daughter to get her ears pierced for the first time, and Nurse Emily was very patient, kind, and professional! For a young child this can definitely be a scary experience but she made us feel so comfortable. She also answered about 5 million questions that I had when I called prior to find out all the details and did not make me feel rushed. The shop is so cute and clean and had a great selection of earrings for kids and adults. We were sent home with an aftercare kit and cleaning spray which was thoroughly explained and easy to manage. Emily treated my daughter like a total princess and we are so grateful for such a positive experience getting her ears pierced!

This was the absolute best experience I have ever had with ear piercings. So girly and relaxing, the cutest jewelry to pick from and so quick and minimal pain. Senaida was an angel and I would go back in a heart beat. Can’t wait for more locations, hopefully one close to Colorado Springs

I took myself and my 5 year old daughter to get lobe piercings. The staff was amazing. They were so friendly and really made my 5 year old feel comfortable. Two of them did both her ears at one time to make it do quick and easy. I will definitely be back when my youngest is ready to get hers pierced!

Two of my daughters and I were pierced by Senaida and it was a great experience. None of our piercings have given us any issues during the healing process. I liked my forward helix so much that I went back for Senaida to pierce another one. Highly recommend Rowen!

Rowan was great to work with for my daughters first piercing . It is definitely pricier than going someplace like Claires, but it is worth the extra money for the care and the personal touch.

We are so pleased with our experience at Rowan! My daughter’s ears were originally pierced at a local mall and one of the piercings was spaced incorrectly. Nurse Hayley was able to place a new piercing in the correct spot and it looks so great now! Hayley look her time and used a measure to make sure the earring was placed in the correct location. My daughter is so happy and I am a happy mama too! Thank you!

My 3 month old got her ears pierced but I just noticed one side is lower, you can really tell. I understand babies are harder but they are the experienced ones. It was pricey so I’m definitely feeling disappointed.

The store has a limited selection of earrings that they will pierce with. The prices range from $60-$670. Which is ridiculous, especially with a small selection. They definitely should not keep the $200-$670 in a separate area so the younger children, who they advertise for, won’t pick it right away.We also had two piercers but they didnt even pierce her ears at the same time. Which was a bummer.

I had the best experience tonight. I didnt get a chance to catch her name (she has black curly hair and pink and orange hokas) but she has excellent customer service and was super friendly and informative. I had a super irritated piercing and she looked at it, cleaned it, and replaced the post so the swelling could go down. The other employees she was working with were also super friendly and helpful! Definitely go to Rowan for your piercings and I live 80 miles away so I mean it. They care about your aftercare as well and not just the initial piercing. Also their studio is super cute and clean!

Our 19 months old didnt have a clue what she was about to get. We peirced her ears with lovely 14K gold studs. The ladies did both ears at the same time. Our little girl cried maybe for 2 minutes. Great experience!

We went here to get our 2 month old daughter’s ears pierced and loved our experience! We wanted to go to a place that we knew had a focus on cleanliness and safety and Rowan was definitely that. Our nurse was Senaida and she did a great job making sure the piercings were placed correctly with our daughter wiggling her head around. Highly recommend this place for piercings!

Went to Rowan about a week ago. I went to get my conch pierced, and had to take it out due to the unbearable pain I was feeling. The service was great and quick but the bar that was put in my ear was way too small. Causing my ear to be swollen, I had headaches, and it was bleeding. My ear looked like it was going to explode. I have many cartilage piercing and have never had this problem. Please do your research and go to actual certified piercers.

Service was amazing, myself and little one (3yr) got our ears pierced. She done a wonderful job calming my girl, making her comfortable and getting the job done. The only issue I have is your website states that you offer a numbing cream that takes 20 mins to work. This was not the case at the time of the appointment, this was partially why we chose to come here. To make it easier for my kid. You might want to update your website with the current procedures for a piercing.

Made an appointment and absolutely love everything about how our appointment went. From the gentleman who I spoke to when booking to our piercer. Everything was professional. I knew we were in great hands as the offered hyper allergenic earrings everything was autoclaved and sanitized. The store was cute and trendy. Very welcoming. Great experience getting ears repierced after years of not wearing earrings! Clean, friendly and modern and plenty of jewelry options to choose from.

I’m sorry, but this was the most subpar experience possible. I expected with the pricing, and the fact it was nurses that it would be a luxurious, fun, and girly experience. From the time I walked in until the time I left with my ears pierced, it was probably four minutes in total. I also really wanted to do a needle piercing, but they had approximately seven different earrings to choose from (their entire inventory was non existent which was not displayed online when you booked the appt) and the only one that was remotely cute was using an ear gun. I totally would’ve had a better experience at Claire’s. And not to mention the three girls that were working acted incredibly bothered the entire time I was there. Also, they tried to auto grat a 25% gratuity on something that took three minutes and made me feel like I was a bother. Save your money and go to Claire’s. This is NOT the experience they market on their website.

I got my ear lobes pierced her three months ago. I was hesitant about using a piercing “tool” instead of a needle but I decided to go ahead with it because the needle piercings were really expensive. Three months later and my left lobe has never fully healed and my right lobe is pierced so crooked through my lobe that it hits my first piercing. I decided today I needed to take them both out and try again somewhere else. I have multiple piercings including facial piercings and have never had an issue.

Senaida is the only person I will ever get pierced with ever again!!! She is so kind, welcoming, patient, and my piercing (conch) was completely painless. I walked in and was SUPER nervous and unsure what piercing to get because I was afraid to get my conch pierced , and Senaida walked me through all the different piercings, how they heal, and experiences her clients have had with the pain and healing process. She then walked me through various placements, recommended different earrings that would best flatter the piercing, and most importantly -- she REALLY took the time to make sure the piercing would work with my ear anatomy. Ive been pierced many times, only by tattoo parlors, and I literally will only go to Senaida/Rowan going forward because my experience was so incredible. They also pierce you with a flatback (so important for healing). Its pricier than tattoo parlors ($35 for conch plus price of jewelry that starts at $60) but I cannot express how 1000000% worth it it was.

We got our 14 month daughters ears pierced here & had a wonderful experience! From cleanliness of the salon to the friendliness of the staff!! They were so helpful & made sure my daughters piercings were straight & even. It was a little pricey. But overall I would recommend them for anyone wanting to get their young childs ears pierced!

We had a wonderful experience! We had two six year olds and two adults get their ears pierced in our group. For the kids, they felt so comfortable with our piercer they hardly even hesitated. She was so warm and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

Website should not say walk ins welcome. I understand if appointments are booked, but the employee was quite rude about it when we walked in to ask if there was availability. If you operate by appointments only the. Please update your website to reflect that. Also, a little kindness goes a long way. I’d highly suggest Iris Piercing if you are looking for good customer service

Great place, friendly staff and even when I lost the back to my piercing it was no hassle to get it replaced!

Beware of false advertising. Website listed one price, called to confirm (three times) but no one answered. Upon arriving for my appointment they said the jewelry was going to be about double what the price is online and just for a single earring. Price jumped from somewhere in the $60s to a quote of $124. Also they don’t have a parking lot it’s all paid parking.

My sister brought her daughters here for their first piercings. First and foremost, they came out perfect! The nurses that did their piercings were absolutely heaven sent. They are so patient considering the amount of time we spent deciding if we wanted to do it. A bit on the pricy side of piercings but I think it’s safe to say that the experience was well worth the cost. Highly recommended for children. Thanks Rowan!

The overall experience of getting my daughters ears pierced was awesome. The nurse took her time to make sure the placement was perfect. I knocked off two stars because the transparency in cost is not there. First, you cannot bring your own studs in, secondly you cannot buy studs at Rowan’s website and use them either. (Online had studs as little as $10 bucks and it went up from there). You have to purchase the studs at the store which average about $80 bucks. Third, the thing that really got me was that I had a 10 percent off hardware coupon, and apparently it doesn’t apply to the purchased hardware but rather to the cleaning solution. (Coupon I had specifically said hardware). You will have a great experience, but be prepared to spend $160 for piercings.

Love the staff there! They’re so kind and patient. I chose needle and the nurse I got was very patient, very thorough, she really took the extra time to make sure I like where the piercing was gonna go. She also went in depth on after care which was nice since places I’ve got before usually just send me on with a pamphlet or email.

My friends and I all did our piercings together and had a great time. We all came in a little nervous of pain but our nurse was flawless to the point where it barely stung. They are very serious about making sure the piercing is placed perfectly on your ear and that you’re taking good care of your wound post appointment. It would be ideal if you could pierce with your own earrings but they have great options for purchase. Loved it!

Very clean and you can trust they will do a great job as licensed nurses. My 2 month old baby got her ears pierced. The nurse was very detailed in explaining how to clean the piercing. We are very happy with the results.

Initially I had a great experience but when I came in tonight to have my piercing that had an issue looked at the piercer didn’t even offer to help me clean the one with issues but instead tried ti sell me more jewelry. It would have been nice to show a little compassion. I have spent over $700 in your store on jewelry and piercings from your location alone. Very disappointed

Visited about a year ago and the piercing device jammed and got stuck in my 9yo daughter’s ear. The nurse allowed the device to hang from the newly pierced hole making it stretch just a bit. She was finally able to get the device off with the earring in her ear. After allowing it to heal, the holes were uneven due to the piercing device incident. Rowan advised that we allow the hole to close and come back for a complimentary “repiercing” where we were told we needed to purchase new earrings but the piercing would be free. Now, a year later, her holes are still uneven and we’ll likely need to allow it to close again. Definitely not returning for a third piercing. We shouldn’t have returned for a second try.

I would not recommend going here. It is extremely overpriced and the results are extremely disappointing for several reasons.I actually came here for the first time about a year ago. It was $150 to get my piercings, earrings, and the spray they say you need for aftercare. Both of my ears got infected and did not heal properly.I returned about two weeks ago to give it another chance and not only are both of my ears painful to the touch, but the placement of the earring is honestly unbelievable. I could fit a whole additional earring between where it is and where it should be. Again it was extremely overpriced for a horrendous job, and then I was pressured to buy more spray and leave a tip at the end!I normally don’t leave reviews but the more I look at the placement of my earrings and the more pain I feel on both of my ears, the more it is clear to me that this place is a scam. They value sell with the fact that they have registered nurses working there and trained professionals, but I would’ve been better off going elsewhere.

I got my second holes pierced here and while the technician spent a lot of time trying to make sure the placement was correct, my holes are definitely at different angles and with different spacing from the main holes I had. I will say that I had zero pain during the piercing or throughout my recovery process, so that was awesome. But, for the price, I would have rather gone to a piercing and tattoo studio and had the piercing done with a needle that could get a more accurate position and angle. This is probably a fine place to go if you are piercing a childs ears and dont care about the placement being 100% perfect...

I went in for my first ear piercings ever and Megan (I think, :( I don’t really remember) was so friendly and helpful the whole time. I had a bunch of questions about placement and the different types of earrings and they was able to answer all of them and really make me feel confident in the process. They also checked my partner’s ears to see if her holes had closed up to make sure they didn’t need to be protected and over all just spent so much time helping the two of us newbies. I’ll definitely be back.

Senaida, Emily and Faith were our piercing Artists today!Senaida pieced my 4 month old ears. It took 2 minutes. She cried for 4 minutes. And after was smiling again like nothing happened. I appreciate how fast and respectful she was. She let me be super picky about the placement and was so patient the 20 times I asked her to change or move it.After that me and my husband both got tragus piercings done. On both sides. Emily took care of both of us and did an amazing job. This took a bit longer but we both were finished and walking out 30 minutes later. I’m proud to say I would recommend anyone to this place! All of the ladies are nurses, and have spent time training before even doing any of their piercings. They all work together to make it happen, and I cannot express how awesome it was to see the teamwork.

My experience at Rowan was effortless and so much fun! My piercer, Melissa, was so professional and took the time to make sure I was happy with the exact placement of my piercings. She walked me through the after care process and made sure I felt confident and comfortable.

Absolutely amazing service and atmosphere. The woman who pierced my ears was very kind and we took time to make sure everything was lined up perfectly. The piercings were quickly done, but if I had wanted to take breaks they made it clear that I could. They explained the after care to me very well. After my piercing while my mother was paying I began to feel light headed, tunnel vision and loud ringing in my ears where everything sounded echoey. The manager (I believe his name was Jake) brought me some water, and I took a few minutes to sit on the small couches, and he explained that this was a common experience since blood rushes to your head when getting ear piercings, and not to rush or hurry myself. I didn’t feel like I had to instantly leave after paying and got the care I needed.

My 5 year old daughter got her ears pierced today! I am so glad we decided to go with Rowan. The ladies were all so nice and made her feel comfortable and at ease. They look perfect! I would recommend this place to everyone!

We came in on Sunday 4/10/22. A friend and myself had been searching for a place that did infant ears but that was also a clean safe place. Rowan nailed it on the head. They were SO patient with both our babies (friends baby almost a year and mine 8 months) both wanted to touch everything ,wanted to see exactly what the nurses were doing and of course being babies..they’re wiggly. But they took their time, the measured, marked and re-measured to make sure the piercings were just right. Then they had two nurses pierce both ears at the same time. Both babies cried for MAYBE a couple seconds and then it was like it never happened. They go over the after care with you and give you two different yet care options. They were wonderful, very friendly and patient and I have already recommended them to another friend.

My babys left ear was pierced twice because they didnt get the placement right the first time.

This is the best place to get infants ears pierced and I guess all kids too. I was looking for a place that did infant ear piercing for my 18month old. It is very clean well maintained and the two nurses on staff were very kind and attentive. They answered all questions and staff were wearing masks, used gloves and sterile equipment. Once the ears were marked and numbing gel took effect, the nurses pierced both ears at the same time. Baby cried for 5 seconds. Quickest way to get both ears right. My husband and I were so pleased we found this place.

Took our 5 year old here on Monday. Overall good experience. I did have to make the piercer change the dots 3 different times as she kept trying to put them clear out on my daughters ears and they were uneven. However, they ended up fine after I did this. We were in and out in 15 min and my daughter said it didnt hurt at all. Clean and friendly.

It was a horrible experience. Despite of the young ladys kindness towards my 8 year old daughter, she had no experience and was as nervous to pierce her ears as my child. She did not use the numbing gel and looked as if it had been the first time she was performing the whole procedure.I would not recommend this place for children.

Brought my 2.5 year old here, they are awesome!!!!

I got my lobes and conch pierced in one go. My piercer, Senaida, was amazing and very careful to make sure I liked the placements. Very minimal pain for me! I ended up with a pretty bad reaction to the lobe piercings a week later and they ended up switching the posts at no charge, which was so nice and unexpected since it was not at all their fault (if they read this- it was indeed a gold allergy and I got on a steroid pack the next day!). All the girls I dealt with were awesome and made sure I felt comfortable the whole time. Will definitely be coming back for all my future piercings!

I have been to some more popular and easily accessible kids piercing places and regretted it immediately! This is not that place. I wish I took all my kids here. The customer service from a woman whose name started with a D (and wore a beautiful head wrap) was amazing. She talked to my daughter and got to know her, and encouraged her decision in getting the studs she picked. She was fun and relatable. The best part was the pierced both ears at the same time eliminating the anxiety of having to go through the pain a second time on the other ear. Very good place to take kids, they don’t use the gun they use another tool that is better for piercing and not as forceful, it’s clean and now one of the only places I will take littles for a piercing.

Piercers were knowledgeable and able to get me in quickly. However pricing is astronomical and about 3-4x what I have paid at other places. The lowest cost for a stud (on top of piercing cost) was $70. From what I saw online it seemed like was going to be more affordable than it actually was and I felt a bit pressured into going with the piercing even though the cost was $230 for two lobe holes (before tip!) Staff doesnt really acknowledge how expensive it is, and it feels a bit gaslighty if you arent comfortable with pricing.

Definitely would not recommend this place. I got my upper ear pierced prior to going on vacation. Paid $80ish for an earring, the piercing, and the special spray. My ear became red and inflamed. When I returned to have them look at it, a different nurse indicated that the first piercing was done inappropriately, with a post that was too short, and that was why my ear was so irritated. They literally threw out the earring I had purchased and I paid another $80 for a new, longer post earring. Upon responding to the follow up customer service email I received, was told to contact the store, whose phone simply goes to voicemail. Not the experience I expected.

Amazing place amazing staff

Went to get my 8 month olds ears pierced for the first time. Came home and my daughter woke up from a nap and the back piece of her earring fell off in her crib!!! She could have easily found it and put it in her mouth!! The “ licensed piercers” need to make sure their clients back piece is on securely especially on a 8 month old! I’m glad we found her back piece before she did and put it in her mouth better yet had her earring all together fall out and that would have been all bad. FEEDBACK TO ROWAN IS MAKE SURE TO CHECK TO MAKE SURE THE ACTUAL EARNINGS IS SECURELY ON THEIR CLIENT AND DONT ASSUME IT IS because from what the people said over at Rowan is “oh it’s rare that our piercings malfunction like that” well you never know when it will happen so take the time to make sure it NEVER HAPPENS. I had to go to an actual tattoo and piercing shop to get my daughter backs that’s won’t fall out!! Waste of 120$. First impressions are everything and this could have been very bad for my daughter if she found her back piece and put it in her mouth because of inconsiderate people. Smh if u come her make sure they double check your kiddos piercings especially the little ones. VERY DISAPPOINTING

I have many piercings (14). I recently went to Rowan and 2 of the 3 piercings I got there got so incredibly infected that it was a complete waste of money even though 1. I bought the more expensive jewelry 2. Bought the extra special ear care solution… not sure why but it certainly wasn’t because I don’t know how to care for my piercings. I’d suggest staying away from all guns, nurses or expensive jewelry aside. This feels like it’s trying to be a studs but studs uses needles.

Kacki and Senaida were both phenomenal. I got my Ford helix pierced by kacki and she was so calm and caring, the piercing I barely felt at all. I would go back again for all of my jewelry and the amazing energy Kacki and Senaida bring to the company. Very professional and courteous.
