Came in for a piercing removal/replacement for an MRI and the piercer & receptionist were so incredibly kind, caring and awesome. They got me in and out super quickly both times and didn’t try to overcharge me for anything. Very gentle & caring. So grateful we stopped here!

I have been a loyal customer of Mantra since I was a child, having received my first piercing there at the age of seven. When I became old enough to consider getting tattoos, I had some disappointing experiences elsewhere before discovering Mantra. The exceptional customer service at Mantra truly sets them apart. I recently submitted a tattoo quote request and was thrilled to have my tattoo scheduled within an hour for the very next day. The quality of the tattoos themselves is simply stunning. I have now received two tattoos from two different artists at Mantra and am delighted with the results. I highly recommend Mantra and have no intention of going anywhere else for my future tattoo needs.

I came in today to get the top of my right ear pierced to match the one on my left! As someone with OCD the unsymmetrical piercings were getting on my nerve! My piercer was Chris, and turns out he has OCD too, and completely understood what I was looking for! He matched the position perfectly to give me that symmetrical symmetry that I was craving! He was very professionally in the way he explained the process and the after care for the piercing as well! I will definitely be going back to Mantra again! The whole process was pain free, well for me anyways, I have a high pain tolerance so for me it was a 1/10 on the pain scale.

The staff is great! Very helpful and kind. This was my second time in for jewelry malfunction and I was shown all my options and given costs. Years ago, I had several tattoos done and had a great experience then as well. I would highly recommend.

Grant is absolutely amazing. Great conversations with a phenomenal artist who just wants to tattoo. The shop was clean with easy access parking. The best end to my vacation. I will be back to get more from Grant next year.

This is my third time getting pierced by Chris and there is a reason I keep coming back! He is so gentle and kind and the space is clean and safe. I have enjoyed every experience here and highly recommend Chris as a professional and human in general!!

I went in to get a ball for for my industrial, I was the only person in there besides someone getting pierced. The very nice front of house woman immediately helped me, but then I waited 30 minutes to get the ball, had to pay a $5 credit card fee, when the ball was $5, and it’s not even the size I needed. I waited so long I could have walked to get cash if they had let me know.That’s not even considering the fact that credit fees are typically 1.5-3.5% of the transaction. Making money off credit card fees is super shady, I don’t care if common practice to charge a flat fee for them. This place clearly doesn’t care about their customers and it’s just trying to make money.The only positive part was the woman was very nice and apologetic.

I come here for all my piercings. I came here today for 2 lobe piercings and had the best experience with the piercing apprentice Hannah. She was so sweet and made sure my piercings were placed perfectly. She was so fast also! And the man that was with us was also very nice but I didn’t catch a name.

This place seemed nice because their website is appealing. But upon receiving services, Mantra was terrible. The service experience was awful. There was no opportunity to make informed decisions about the jewelry or pricing of services. The staff did not care; they only wanted to upcharge. It was $50 to get a new piece of jewelry and get it installed. It took over 45 minutes of waiting to obtain services. I will not return, and I highly discourage others from going here.However, Chris, the actual piercing professional, was nice, but he was the last person I spoke to, and it didn’t make a difference in the negative experience overall.

The woman with the blondish hair in the piercing shop is awesome! She’s helped me and my gf on 3 occasions and has been friendly, professional, and clean every time! She’s helped us out alot so I highly recommend visiting this place! They have high quality jewelry and really good vibes.

So my friends and I decided to somewhat impulsively get pierced a few days ago. Chris was amazing, so informative and really calmed all of our worries. He was incredibly professional and made a safe environment.I realized yesterday that my jewelry was too small, so I came by today to get it switched out. My piercing was so inflamed and angry that it was insanely sore. Bri made me feel so safe, listened to and validated all of my concerns.Props to Mantra for having such amazing piercers that value bedside manner and give clients somewhere genuinely safe to get body mods.

I have gotten all Of my piercings, there they are so nice and polite. They make sure everything is clean and Sterile. Would recommend piercing and tattoos from here.

I considered giving 1-star, but the artist I sat with is very talented and I feel that would be unfair. That said, I’ve been getting tattooed for 20 years. I’ve worked with some of Colorado’s most well-loved artists, but their books are closed or they’re traveling artists now. I say this because I’m very familiar with how things should go. Anyway, I walked-in to Mantra for a simple finger tattoo, and rather than having a free consultation first to see if it was a good fit, we just jumped in. I ultimately decided against getting tattooed that day, but the artist was very passive aggressive about not having a deposit down. Very pushy, somewhat condescending, etc. Keep in mind, it was maybe 5-7 minutes of drawing time. I understand setup takes time, but to imply that a walk-in has wasted your time is a poor business move. I Venmo’d the dude $50 for his time, but please consider implementing a deposit for walk-ins and be sure folks know the difference between a free consultation and a walk-in appointment.

The only reason Im giving 3 stars is because they were not forthcoming about cost. My friend and I came in to get our ears pierced. She got her lobes pierced and I had my seconds on my lobes re-opened. When we walked in Chris greeted us and was very kind, patient, and helpful. He told us that the earlobe piercing would be $75 and included the basic stud earrings. He told me that mine would only be $30 since I was just having the holes stretched back open. So my friend was expecting to pay $75 and I was expecting to pay $30. However, when we checked out after our services, my friend was charged $160! After tip, she paid $190. I was charged $97. Im guessing this is because we were charged the price quoted - PER EAR?? Not entirely sure because the receipt has a bunch of line items that were confusing and hard to understand/decipher. Regardless, we should have been told up front that the cost was per ear. I think people assume that if theyre getting their ears pierced, the cost would be for both ears unless otherwise specified? Maybe not, but they should make that clear. Not once were we told that it was per ear. This is pretty disappointing because Chris was very knowledgeable and professional and I would definitely have come back for other services, but this felt sneaky and misleading so I probably wont be back. On another note, the cost itself wasnt what bothered me so much - it was more-so the misleading and witholding that rubbed me the wrong way. I dont mind paying a premium cost for something if its warranted, but I would like to know that cost up front and be able to make that decision before accepting a service then being hit with more than twice the cost after the service is done and I have no other choice but to pay it.

I found Mantra online by accident and I was treated with Professionalism, cleanliness and respect. I will be back. I Unfortunately I dont remember the young ladys name. 24 hours later not one issue with my Prince Albert reinsertion. Decent price.

I came almost a month ago with a friend of mine on a tuesday afternoon around, probably 3 pm. I got a left side labret, and my friend got basic ear lobe piercings as hed never been pierced before. The process went quickly, maybe a 10 minute wait at most while Chris cleaned the room and sanitized everything.Chris was very professional and a bit detail oriented when it came to my friends ears (a good thing) and the placement of the dot that would show you where the piercing would go and when it came to mine, he picked the perfect spot the first try! Which I wasnt expecting but was very happy with. I dont know what gauge was used on my piercing, but i know that I fully intend to come back when i have more money and this is fully healed in a while to get another piercing.Im only pushing on it slightly with my tongue in the photo and the lighting just makes it look more red than it really is, I promise.

Andrew was so kind and helpful. I came in with just the idea of the bird and he helped me figure out the style and colors I wanted. I really appreciate the work he did. He was super nice and easy going. If you ever want a tattoo done I would absolutely recommend him. I couldn’t be happier. Thank you so much! #mantratattoos

I got my dermals placed here a LONG time ago and today got them removed with Chris. I cannot recommend Chris and this shop highly enough. Everyone was very curteous and made sure IO was taken care of from the moment I walked in the door. It is always clean and they take good care to do an amazing job every time. Chris helped me with surgical precision and cleanliness. He made it so I would scar the least and I barely felt a thing. He was so caring and kind throughout the entire process. Chris is the best. This is the only place I will go. :)

Bri is the only person I’ll go to anymore to do my piercings. I’ve gotten three done by her so far and she talks you though the whole process, she makes the whole experience very comfortable and she’s super quick with her piercings. Recommend her to literally everyone I can

Ive gotten many tattoos from David Wilson and I love them. Hes an amazing tattoo artist. I recently just got my nipples pierced and the piercer was amazing. Talked me through it and was very gentle! 10/10 experience. I always reccomend people to go here.

Kind staff, very clean and organized. We messaged with Matt Gainan ahead of time a few weeks before we visited to make sure we could get in. He was very accommodating and worked us in while we were visiting Denver! He did great work and wish he was local to NC so we could get more lol My wife and I both got tattoos representing our time in Denver.Parking was dicey, wish there was more parking so show up early to your appt so you can figure out where you’re gonna park.

I came in for a septum piercing with Chris a few weeks ago. While he was a super nice dude and seemed professional, the service I received was very dissatisfactory.When I first arrived there was a very strong smell of weed coming from within the shop.Hannah was the woman who checked me in and wasn’t necessarily polite. Not rude but didn’t really seem to care about much, very unwelcoming vibe overall when first stepping in.My appointment was for 1:45 and I didn’t end up going back to the piercing room till almost 2:45… so waiting a whole hour with multiple people infront of me when I had booked an appointment was a little frustrating, but hey I understand things get busy so I didn’t really say anything.When I did finally go back into the room Chris did run me through the process of how he was going to pierce my nose very quickly, had me lay down and boom it was all done in less and 5 minutes. He did fail to mention what gauge he was using,(was a 14 and looked absolutely too big for my nose imo).Now here is where I was confused. Immediately after he pierced me and sat me up he told me he was a “perfectionist” and that my septum piercing was indeed crooked and that I had a deviated septum but in his words he “probably wouldn’t be able to get it any more straight”. I asked if it looked okay crooked and he said yes it did... He did offer to re-pierce it some months down the road if I wasn’t happy but in the moment I thought what the heck it looks fine.I ended up not being happy with it and sought out a few second opinions to which I was told that there was no reason I should have left with a piercing as crooked as this/ crooked or not a good piercer can make it look straight/ several people couldn’t believe I was sent out the door with my piercing so downright crooked.I ended up calling Chris back and telling him I was unhappy with it and that I got some other opinions and was going to seek out another piercer to which he said was kind of douchey and that he really prides himself in his work?The piercer I ended up going to had no problem getting it straight on the first time and said my septum was barely deviated. She actually pointed out that my first piercing wasn’t crooked because of my deviation at all and that one side was higher than the other meaning he put the needle in at an angle making it sit way off center to my nose and lips.I know all piercers are different and body piercing isn’t always perfect but as a professional body piercer I think Chris needs to take his time more with clients instead of rushing things because I just really can’t wrap my head around calling yourself a perfectionist but sending someone away with a so obviously imperfect piercing. Spending 90 dollars just to have to get it fixed by someone else sucks.

Let me just start by saying the first time I came here I had a pretty good experience and I hardly leave bad reviews but the experience I had with the piercer was so bad I wouldn’t want anyone else to have to experience this. I already had one nostril pierced and I was wanting the other side done, they did it but I had a hoop in so it looked fine. After I changed the hoop on one side you could really notice it was not even. I didn’t think much of it at first but went back in because it really was not the vibe, I was nice when I came in I figured it wasn’t their fault it was probably because I had the hoop in. The guy piercer literally comes over so defensive and starts insulting my intelligence saying “its because of swelling” even though it had been 7 months since I got it done. (Mind you he wasn’t even the one who did the piercing so the attitude was really uncalled for). I kept my composure and put my fingers on the piercings and said you are telling me this is even? And he said well I can tell your really exaggerating your fingers. Like what?? I literally left and went to a shop up the street where they told me it clearly wasn’t symmetrical and if I let it close up they could re piece is. That’s all I wanted was a solution. I wouldn’t come here again because they clearly have some sort of superiority complex it was ridiculous.

My favorite place for a tattoo. Trusted artists. The jewelry is overpriced. But this is where I always get my plugs from. I was going to buy a gold nose ring and was quoted $150. But if youre coming for a tattoo theyre great! I always see Mike O hes the best. He books out far, but its worth the wait.

Just had an incredible experience getting my flat pierced. Chris was professional, detailed and a perfectionist. He addressed my concerns and his apprentice, Hannah, was great too. The shop has a wonderful selection of jewelry too. Will definitely go back.

I absolutely love this shop! I have gotten most of my piercings and tattoos here. Jaz is amazing! She has done such a good job on all my piercings. Edgar is a terrific artist! I will never go anywhere else for my american traditional work. Everyone in the shop is super cool! Love these guys!

They charged me $150 for two piercings. I went there a total of three times the first time he did the diamond and the dice and charged me $250 then I went back to get my 1984 and he charged me $1:30. So the piercings and the tattoos of too expensive in my opinion. Next time I know the negotiate the price right off the bat

I love Mantra Tattoo! It’s clean, everyone is professional and super nice!Corey did my daith, helix, and conch and was so quick and skilled. After they healed, Chris switched out all my piercings with no problems!I worked with Eddie who helped design one of my favorite tattoos which has healed very well. I also worked with Chris on another tattoo and he was super chill and did an awesome job!I will definitely continue coming back to Mantra, whether it’s for an appointment or a walk-in, they always deliver!!

I had Jason pierce my conch and helix. He did a wonderful job at answering my questions, and quick so the pain was minimal during the piercing. Also he wasnt pushy when my friend and I were picking out jewelry. They had a wonderful selection of jewelry. We were greeted quickly as well.We went to another shop earlier in the day, I only ended up buying jewelry to match my tragus, however he was awesome and put that in my existing hole.The shop is very clean like it had been in the past when my friend got a tattoo at this establishment. The piercing staff is always friendly and does a great job worth the $$. The service is wonderful here and at the Stay Local shop. I have used them for 4 piercings so far which are the daith, helix, conch and nostril.Update: I had to knock off one star because my back came off of my new piercing and of course it was late in the night it tried to close. However my 2nd one stayed when these were threadless backs and I know I didnt pull on it.

Jasmine is the best! Ive never had anything pierced before and they helped me so much with easing my anxiety about being stuck with any kind of needle. I cant believe how painless and quick the process was.The whole shop seemed super clean and the staff were friendly. The earrings that were popped into my ears were sterilized immediately prior to piercing and my ears were cleaned with an alcohol wipe before, I believe. A needle was used instead of a piercing gun which is a lot more sanitary from what Ive read. Jasmine wore medical gloves to further prevent chances of infection. If any complications occur (fingers crossed that that doesnt happen lol) Im pretty confident that it would be my own fault. Luckily, Mantra has a ton of aftercare tips on their website so Im not super worried about that.I obviously dont know anything about other piercing places, but I would feel comfortable recommending Jasmine and Mantra Tattoos in general to people that I care about.

I stopped by to get some help changing my nose jewelry and wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to do. Chris was amazing helping me pick jewelry and got everything changed out quickly. He was so kind, patient, and knew what he was talking about! I will definitely be returning to him for future piercings.

A welcoming and clean shop with super-friendly staff and some awesome artists. Geno Somma did a fantastic job with my first tattoo many years ago, and I have since returned to get two more quality tattoos from him. His lines are clean and bold, and hes extremely patient and personable.

Chris has been piercing me since I was 16, (now 29) and I’ve had over 10 different piercings over that time and every single one has been done with nothing but absolute care. Chris is so knowledgeable and always makes sure to explain the process, you can watch sterilize your jewelry, and the absolute best aftercare. The jewelry is absolute the best you can get. He really cares about his art and it shows, every piercing has healed wonderful and I’ve never had an unnecessarily painful/incorrect piercing. I will never go to anyone else and encourage anyone wanting a first piercing or a seasoned vet to check him out.

Nails is absolutely amazing and the most professional piercer I have ever had the privilege of working with! She was very upfront and honest with me from the get go, showing me that she truly cared about me and my well-being. I was very impressed with how thorough and precise she was, she measured my earlobes to make sure I was getting pierced in the perfect location and as symmetrical as possible. I am so thankful I booked an appointment with Mantra tattoo, and even more thankful Nails was my piercer! I will definitely be coming back to her for future piercings and I recommend you do too!

I was referred to Chris by a local tattoo artist and after reading all these reviews about him, I knew I would survive whatever I was about to deal with! I had a conch piercing done over a year ago (by another piercer) and it healed great. I apparently had some type of injury to the area recently that caused major swelling. The swelling caused the backing of the jewelry to pull inside of the ear and I could not get it out myself. Chris was very honest about the process to get it out. He was as gentle as he could be and very kind during a more challenging jewelry change! He did a great job and its been doing great ever since. Thanks for helping me through that one!

I went in to redo my naval piercing and get my tongue pierced. I made an appointment online which was super easy. Check in was quick and I had Chris as my piercer. He was fantastic. He let me know I did not in fact have to get my naval re-pierced but could get it stretched and he didnt even charge me for that! Awesome. Upon looking at my tongue he informed me my webbing was a little closer than normal so the piercing couldnt be a true mid to be most comfortable. And then when we got to the back he noticed I have a vein that runs all the way down the middle of my tongue. Which isnt super common. So he adjusted the piercing to be a little off centered to avoid that complication. And after all that it still looks great! Very glad at how thorough and professional Chris was. I was very comfortable the whole time and cant recommend enough!

I got a floating lobe pierced by Chris which was painless and easy! Somehow (by no fault of the piercer) it encapsulated in the back so I went back in and Chris fixed it super fast and painless again for free !! Everyone there is super sweet and knowledgeable. I cant emphasize how amazing Chris is, he definitely knows what hes doing.

My wife and I got tattoos from David Wilson (@artofwilso on IG). He created absolutely gorgeous tattoos for us (3.5ish months healed pics attached) and is an absolute gem of a person. It was lovely talking to him throughout our sessions. He worked super fast, I was not expecting to finish my whole thigh piece in one sitting. Everyone in the shop was incredibly nice; it was awesome seeing everyone interacting throughout the day. The other tattooers would come over to check out the tattoos we were getting done and complimenting our new tattoos and our other tattoos. I wish we lived closer so we could come in more often!

This was the best experience I’ve ever had at a piercing shop. Hannah is so sweet and helpful; really appreciated her good vibes when checking in. Mason was beyond patient helping me pick out the piercings that I wanted and making sure it would work anatomically. He really took his time making sure I was happy with everything. He is such a positive person and hyped me up with genuine excitement, such a refreshing attitude and I’m all for it! Chris pierced my conch and my sister’s nose, and he was absolutely AMAZING! He answered all of our questions and helped us find the perfect jewelry. The entire experience was epic, and finding a piercer that is so friendly and helpful can be really difficult. Definitely my new guy, and I will be telling all my friends to go to Chris!

Jazz was amazing when preforming my triangle piercing! They were extremely professional, knowledgeable, kind, thorough and clean! They walked me through the whole process, preformed an exam to make sure I was suited for the piercing, and gave me all the info on aftercare, jewelry choices, healing time, and how they would be doing the piercing. This was a very extreme piercing to have done, and I wanted to make sure I was getting the right person for the job. I know Mantra has always had a wonderfully experienced piercing staff, and I’m so happy Jazz was my piercer! Ive been here many times for piercings/ jewelry. The whole staff is amazing. Chris is so good at making you feel comfortable. The whole piercing process is as close to pain free as you can get with getting stuck by a needle 😂

The absolute best piercers in Denver. I live waaaaaay east, and its 100% worth it to come here. I had a previous daith piercing reject (it helps with migraines, facts) and even though I had much better anatomy on the rejected ear, it was excellently placed on my other ear. Always recommend

My brother and I got pierced by Chris and OMG the sweetest most professional piercer! He walked us through everything he was doing without drawing out the process. We each got 2 piercings and were in and out of the piercing studio in less than 10 min. Will defiantly come back for any of my future piercings!

By far the worst piercing experience I have ever had. I came into the shop to get my third lobe piercings. Prior to even getting my piercings, I was lied to about jewelry prices and what was included in the standard $65 piercing cost. If that was not bad enough, when I went into the room to get pierced, all the piercer could talk about was how the female piercer had just gotten fired and how she was stealing from the shop and a lot of their things were missing. This seemed very unprofessional. I later looked at my banking statement and realized that the total for two pieces of jewelry and two standard piercings was $300. When I called for clarification on the cost since it was obviously higher than I was expecting, I was told that it was my fault I didn’t look at the itemized products on the screen when checking out and dealt with it right then. I was also told that there was no possible way that I was misquoted on jewelry and that it must have been a problem with my ability to comprehend what the piercer was saying. I completely understood that since I already have the jewelry in, there wasn’t anything they could refund me for, but I was at least hoping for an apology for the lying about it while I was there. Overall, the way the situation was handled made the entire experience at shop was entirely unprofessional.

My daughter got her first ear piercing by Jazz Giffen. Jazz was wonderful! They made sure to explain every step of the process to my daughter and was so patient and professional. We do not live in Denver, but we will definitely contact Jazz for advice for future jewelry and piercing recommendations. I highly recommend their service.

We just had a wonderful experience tonight getting my 7 year old daughters’ ears pierced. The technician was so kind and gentle with her. He put her at ease throughout the entire process.

My decade-old nose ring got torn out, I called them in a panic, and they were so kind and helped assure me it was fixable and got me a new piece of jewelry in immediately. Everyone was incredibly professional, clean, efficient, gentle, and my piercing looks good as new. I’ll definitely be coming back when I’m ready for my next piercing!!

One if the cleanest shops Ive ever been in. Very welcoming staff, Ian is so nice at the front desk. Matt is an amazing tattoo artist and I love both pieces Ive gotten from him. I also got my nipples pierced by Jazz. They healed super fast and look amazing! They did a wonderful job!

I didn’t have an appointment and walked in and Mason gladly did my eyebrow piercing and my sisters belly any nerves I had when I walked in were instantly gone he was very friendly and calming he walked me through the process and I cant wait to go back to get pierced by him again :)

Ive spent many hours at Mantra and can confidently say that this location has something for everyone. For me personally, Vic did an awesome job taking my idea and turning it into a work of art. This was my first tattoo and Vic helped to ease my anxieties (and provide entertainment!) throughout the entire process.I highly recommend an in-person consultation, no matter where you go, but Mantra has a unique, fun vibe and a wide selection of artists who share expertise in a variety of tattoo styles - youre bound to find what youre looking for.

I just got my nose pierced here and they’re all so nice, Cory did my nose piercing today and he was very professional, nice and super funny. Very decently priced. I talked to Edgar about getting a tattoo in the summer, I would 100% recommend Mantra tattoo.

Dave , Sean and Anna were absolutely phenomenal. Dave and Anna both preformed tattoos on my group and Sean tended to our friend who decided not to get one. The art work is AMAZING and their energy matches. I suggest stopping in. We were walk ins and were taken back within 20 mins giving the time they had to draw up our tats. I came in not knowing what I wanted and walked out extremely happy. 10/10 would come back again.

I got my first nose piercing here at 17 (in 2020) with cory and he was amazing. he ended up piercing both my smiley and my nipple in 2021 and all 3 times were a great experience (had i rated it back then it would have been a 5/5). i took my boyfriend here about 2 months ago to get another nose piercing, because i trusted the place, but the woman who pierced us seemed very new and a bit inexperienced. i will say that everything was clean and sanitized, she was friendly, and i have never had a piercing done sitting up that went well before seeing her. all of my other piercings, including 3/4 nostril piercings, were done while i was laying down, and the one time i tried getting my septum pierced sitting up the needle ended up ripping through my nose. the piercing healed well but when we went back in to get my boyfriend’s post shortened and my jewel changed to a smaller size (because they told me my other 3 nose studs were all different sizes (untrue), and couldn’t differentiate between how the smallest size gem and the next size up would look on my nose once pierced), i ended up paying for both of our “services” when she had told us at the initial appointment she would do it for free. to be clear, i don’t mind paying her for changing the post in my boyfriend’s jewelry. i was just annoyed that when i, immediately after my piercing, said i didn’t like the size of the gem they had recommended, she told me that she wouldn’t change it and to come back about 4 weeks later and she would switch it for free, yet i ended up being charged anyway. plus when we came back for our jewelry changeouts she was wearing booty-short athletic shorts, which seemed a bit unprofessional to me, as she is working with bodily fluids and is changing people’s appearances, presumably permanently, which is something that ought to have a decently sterile environment. the company responded to my boyfriend’s review saying that all their piercers are trained, which i would hope is true, but i have had 5 other professionally done piercings, and 4 tattoos and the woman who did our noses was the least professional of all the artists/piercers i’ve spoken to so far.edit: i would like to add that i went to the shop to get a smaller, but same color and design, jewel for my nose probably 2 weeks after the piercing. there was a very long line of people waiting for piercings (including a woman who told me she had already been waiting 1 hour for a jewelry changout, something which they will not schedule appointments for), and i was asked if i would need help inserting the piercing. i said yes since the piercing was fairly fresh, but after waiting about 30 minutes i went to ask if i would be able to just switch the gem myself since this is my 4th nostril piercing. the woman at the desk said no, which i also understand, but when i left and came back 1h30m later everyone i had been waiting with was still waiting. and again, i was charged a service fee of $15 for my gemstone swap and another $15 for my bf’s post change, which came out to like $33 with tax. when she said she would do these swaps for free. especially since it was their staff who ultimately told me the (too) large gem size would match my other piercings best. which it absolutely did not. when i left the shop it looked like my left nostril had 3 nose piercings and my right nostril had an earring shoved into a nose piercing. not entirely sure whether or not i’ll be returning, though from more recent reviews it does seem this piercer may have been fired.

Seemed like a good place to get my ear studs changed out until I went to pay. Over a $100.00 for 3 studs and having them put in for me. Ridiculous!!! Price gouging !! Beware and make sure you get a cost before the service as it appears Mantra likes to not share the $ side of things until after the service. Very disappointing and truly upset on what I had to pay. Taking advantage of the customer is NOT good business.

Got my ear lobes pierced and a rook piercing by Cory and had a great experience. Quick, simple and friendly.

The studio was fun, clean, and the staff was professional. Our visit was for a septum piercing and it was done in a very sterile room and it was quick and fairly priced. We had a good experience here, and would likely come back for other piercings.

My friend and I wanted tattoos while we were in town and we were able to walk-in which was awesome. We booked with Sarah and I cannot express how happy I am with my tattoo and placement. Sarah made sure I was comfortable despite me being very nervous for my second tattoo with an 11 year gap in between. Highly recommend booking with Sarah!

I had an issue with the nose ring I got put in originally and Jasmine was happy to fix the problem free of charge. Great piercer, no pain getting original stud, easy to talk to, very professional. I will definitely go back to Jasmine for all my piercing needs!

Vic is awesome! Listened to my ideas for a sprig and guided me to something super flowy on my hand. He taught me about needle sizes to ensure I would have the best piece with the least damage to my skin. I really enjoyed collaborating with him and can’t wait to go back. Everyone was super welcoming even at the end of the night which meant a lot!

Catherine was so amazing! She made my tattoo experience great. She was able to produce art that I am completely in love with and couldnt imagine done any other way. It seemed like all of the artists were really friendly and supportive of each other which was really wonderful and comforting to see. I just got a dermal piercing in my chest from Jasmine and I love love love it. She was able to do it with next to no notice - the shop I was going to canceled my appointment literally half an hour before I went to her. She was so nice and gentle even if it was one of the more rough piercings. Immediately wanted a second and Ill be scheduling something soon! Ive been to Mantra before for a few other piercings and I always have the best experience, so Im just going to make it my regular shop and do the drive out because its more than worth it!

Cory was friendly, fast, clean, and professional. I was a walk-in to get a new properly fitted earring in an existing piercing. Even though Cory was busy between customers with appointments, he got me in quickly, fixed me up with my new earring, and sent me on my way as a happy customer. The receptionist was also friendly and helpful. It can be intimidating to walk into a shop and not know what the setup is, but Mantra and Cory made it super comfortable. Ill be back for more earrings and maybe a new piercing!

They did a great job with a touch up on 2 of my tattoos that I had and they look great. It was a little bit more than I was expecting. I feel that touch up,s should not be around 300.$ And they did it as walk in.

I was very nervous to take our daughter there to get her ears pierced for the very first time- mostly because of the environment of a tattoo/piercing shop. However, it was the BEST experience!!! Jasmine was so patient and respectful to our little girl and did her best to make her feel comfortable! Id recommend her any day!!!! Im so grateful it was such a good experience for our daughter!

I got two walk-in tattoos done by Andrew and they are beautiful! Pricing is fair, he worked with my friend and I with redesigning a moon tattoo and we loved the result. Seemed as though he cared a lot about helping us get what we wanted and he was incredibly helpful with offering opinions on placements, sizing, etc. He also touched up a few of my friends smaller tattoos for free. Cory the piercer is amazing. He is respectful and explains in detail the process of piercing. He wears personal protective equipment and shows clean and sterile jewelry. I have never felt so comfortable with a piercer ever. The shop is clean and they ask that you wash your hands upon entry. It felt good, safe and the prices were decent.

Cory is the best for piercings! ! I’ve been going to him for a couple years now. I had a defective stud fall out a couple days after getting it put in. Cory allowed me to exchange it. It was my FIRST tattoo and he spent as much time as I needed to discuss what I wanted and made changes to the size and spacing for me until I was happy with it.He was extremely attentive and cared about my experience. My GF, daughter and I walked in there without an appointment and the staff was immediately attentive and welcoming. We all did piercings with Jazz. My daughter and GF have more face stabbing experience than I do and they were both overwhelmed with how professional and talented she was with our various piercings. Oh my gosh, my two friends and I went here based off a google search for ear piercings and Corey was phenomenal. Weve decided we will never get another piercing unless its with Corey. After having a terrible experience at another shop, Coreys attitude and demeanor was so refreshing. He is so kind, sweet, amazing at his job. He even pierced my friends conch with a hoop which I know piercers tend to not allow right off the bat. 10/10 recommend and cant wait to return!

This place is awesome! I was planning to go to a different shop in town but the piercer wasnt available. I called Manta about getting my septum pierced and the guy I talked to was super friendly and informative (wish I would have gotten his name). Chris was the artists that gave me my piercing and he was the best. Very accommodating and calming, as I was a little nervous about getting the piercing. He was thorough and just an all around good energy. I would definitely recommend this shop.

Tl;dr: Was told I could have an appointment when there were none.Used to be one of my favorite tattoo spots.Just recently I was told over the phone they had plenty of appointments and could get me in. I was ecstatic and started my 1 hour drive to get there. As soon as I got there everyone said they were booked up.I said I was willing to wait, but was told it might be after 6pm. A tremendous waste of my time.

Ive got a ton of shop experience. This shop has customer service down to a science. They were welcoming, explored options, and even let me know that i didnt have to pay for a service! Lil Chris is an exceptional piercer and truly knows anatomy more than any piercer Ive met. Im glad to have met him. Spider Chris made me incredibly comfortable and welcome to Denver in general by letting me know about things to do that Im interested in. I cant tell you how much i appreciate that, being new to the area.Thanks guys.

Ben Parker is amazing!!Ive been to a couple different shops in Denver but wanted to find a place and artist that could design and Do a full sleeve. I sent him some pictures of tattoos I liked and went in with no set design. We talked about different ideas and then he drew on my arm the design. Ive been there three time for about 10 hours and have much more to do, but I love the direction it is heading in. Bens line work is amazing, I have had random strangers comment on how great he did. I definitely recommend him to all my friends and clients. Go, you wont be disappointed!

Tattoo shops are a dime a dozen, one on every block in Colorado. For me to give a tattoo shop a 5 star rating, it must be something special. I absolutely loved the atmosphere at Mantra Tattoo. It was friendly, chill, clean, and overall welcoming. Art work on the walls screamed talent and I was not disappointed with my tattoo artist Jason Drager! Jason is awesome, he listened to my ideas and gave feedback. He was easy going but, respectful of the fact that I was the client and he basically for the 2 hours I was there worked for me so to speak. All said and done, a little expensive but, really can you put a price on art? Phenomenal service, outstanding artwork and personable staff all equal an absolute yes I would highly recommend Mantra Tattoo to those new and old of the tattoo industry!

Sam was great! My 4.5 year old daughter decided she was ready to get her ears pierced and I wanted it done right. I talked to Sam on the phone and made an appointment. He was great with her and gave her the time she needed to calm her nerves before doing it. Overall a great experience.

Went here a few months ago to buy two hoops for my helix piercings. I got charged $64.71 for just that. Initially I thought they were $30 each and was fine with it but once I saw the receipt I saw that I was charged $38 as a service charge. They did nothing but hand me the earrings. They said they could put them in for me but it would be extra, so I just put them in myself. The earrings alone should have only been $22. I was charged $42 extra without even being told. Tried to call a few times but they never answered.

Jasmine did my sons first piercing this evening (double lower lip). She was professional, knowledgeable and welcoming. Shop in pristine condition, well organized. Highly recommend!

I called today to see if they can tattoo me today. They were able to get me in on the same day with Hunter. He is new to the shop and is awesome!! I got a rather simple tattoo of my kitty that just passed away paw prints and he exceeded my expectations and I would consider myself extremely picky that’s why I waited until my mid 30’s for my first tattoo. I am so happy with the job he did. He was quick and let me take little breaks when I needed even though it was a quick job. If I get another tattoo I will hunt Hunter down to do it for me!!!

Hear guys did a great job and are really professional, I contacted them on their website and they called me within five minutes. Setting up appointment was quick and easy and Daniel did a really nice re-work on an existing upper arm sleeve that I have. Looking forward to setting up more appointments and having these guys do some more work for me. Strongly recommend them to anybody considering their services.

The staff here is great! I was in town visiting a friend and was on a time constraint for getting a tattoo. Kidd worked with my schedule and came in on his day off to do my tattoo! He worked with me on my design and made it exactly how I wanted! He did a fantastic job!

My girlfriend just got her ear pierced by Corey. He did a great job explaining everything to us from the jewelry to the process and the after care. Made us both feel good about getting the piercing done there, he was very knowledgeable and patient answering all of our questions. The piercing itself came out great. Would certainly recommend this shop, especially Corey, to anyone looking for a quality piercing. Id also like to say that although it wasnt the cheapest place in town, I think you should consider quality when looking into body modifications. Mantra exceeded our expectations, good stuff.

Daniel Juarez is hands down the best tattoo artist in Denver. I’ve followed him for the last 3 years. He’s the only person I trust to touch me. His black and grey work is stunning, along with his roses. I’m stopped and complimented everyday on my half sleeve. 10/10 I recommend him to everyone I know.

Love getting pierced here! The saying never trust a skinny chef... well never trust a piercer with no piercings! Cory (who decided to retire apparently 😏) pierced me and my moms septums first and my ear flat. Then Bianca did a great job tapering one of my nipples back open and re-piercing the other (now that Im done breastfeeding). She also tapered my moms septum easily and pierced both her nipples. Both are clean, knowledgeable and gets the job done quickly and effectively. We will be back for more... after these ones heal 😉.

Went in to get a dermal and Chris, the piercer, was so friendly, professional, and walked me through the entire process. By far the most friendliest tattoo shop I have ever been in. As much as I love tattoos and piercings I usually have a little anxiety going into tattoo shops because theyre so short with you and sometimes snotty. It feels good to be welcomed and to be worked on by amazing artists. Definitely coming back to them!

Had an excellent experience with this shop! I booked an appointment online earlier this week with Geno and his schedule wasnt in real time so he text me that very day to see if another time would work. I sent a picture of what I wanted and explained I was coming from out of town. Geno came in early today on a Saturday to fit me in and was extremely friendly and professional from start to finish. He made sure I was absolutely happy with the stencil before starting and I could not be happier with the finished product. Very clean shop, friendly staff, and fair pricing. Ive gone here for a tattoo and a piercing now and a few different consultations for new tattoos and piercings. Everyone here is really awesome. Chance did my first tattoo ever and I was honestly terrified but he made it a pretty good experience. I plan on going to him whenever I decide on my next tattoo. I also got a piercing from Chris and it looks amazing and its healed perfectly. Everyone here is awesome and after some other experiences at other shops, I have absolutely no doubt that Mantra is one of the best!

Just barely left the shop and I am so happy with my results! I asked to get a Nose Piercing and the staff was so sweet and understanding about me being scared about the pain. The place was really clean and it was just a nice vibe being in the shop. It didn’t even really hurt! Clean well lit shop. I came in looking for help with a new ball for my belly ring. My old one fell out so I either needed new jewelry or just a new ball. But the guy at the counter when I came in just seemed generally annoyed with me coming in and asking for help. He barely said anything and had this look of “can i help you?”. At one point I miss heard him and then he just turned and stared at me like I was in his way. The piercing woman was nicer, though still gave off the impression that they were annoyed with me coming in. 16$ for one single ball for a belly ring which i mean was fine, but also it would’ve cost me another 15$ to have her put the ball on. that just seemed like a bit much to have her screw it in for 0.5 seconds. I came in once a couple months ago with some friends and the employees had the same impression then as well. People shouldn’t feel unwelcome when getting a body modification.

Received my first tattoo from Ryan and it was a fantastic experience. The shop was clean and well lit and the atmosphere was great. Since it was my first Ryan listened to what I was looking for and came up with a wonderful design. He walked me thru the process addressing any concern or question.After 2.5 hours walked out with a great tattoo. Recommend it to every one.

I got 5 piercings 2 months ago. 4 at once and they were dipped (dipped is the word he used in store, Otherwise I wouldn’t have said dipped). $70 each. I knew right away my ears didn’t like the earrings so I opted to get the GOLD earrings for my cartilage a week later. THEY DO NOT let you know that the back is titanium and you can’t tell because of how they have it displayed. The gold earring was $170 before tip, Just that one earring! Cory who I talked to and pierced my ears, claims they tell everyone but didn’t tell me or the 2 other people I was with. I went in 2 times with people and none of us were told. We were told the other earrings were titanium but not the gold ones. That is false advertisement. Not even the girl at the front could tell me that when I walked in and expressed my concerns, so how is it that you tell everyone but she claims not to know? Not only that but if you are being so upfront, why was the titanium in the gold earring dipped (again the word he used in store, if it’s anodized, i still feel the same) to look gold? I didn’t ask for it to be dipped, why would I if I thought I was getting a gold earring? They want it all to look gold knowing they don’t offer refunds. I’m letting everyone know what to expect.The piercings themselves were fine, not my issue, I just think if someone is expressing why they are choosing gold, let them know.I’m a girl BTW, I forgot my son was logged in

I went to get my nose pierced on my birthday and my piercer, Chris, was absolutely lovely! He was super clean and professional and everything was properly sterilized before I even got in the room. He walked me through everything and it has turned out beautifully! I love it!! 10/10 would go again!

I took my 8 year old daughter here to get her ears pierced. It could not have been a more positive experience. Chris was amazing with her. He helped her pick out the perfect earrings, explained everything, and was so sweet to both of us. I highly recommend them for kids ear piercing!

Very clean and well lit shop, certifications in plain sight and readily apparent. I got a diath piercing here and they sterilized jewelry in front of me and only charged 60$. My piercing person was jasmine and she was fantastic Im sure the others are too.

Went in to get little dainty triangle tattoos on my finger. After a very thorough conversation with one of the artist, Andrew, I decided not to do it as this area of your body does not hold ink well. Although I didn’t end up getting a service done here, I really appreciated the honesty of the artist and his recommendations on other areas that I could do something similar. Thank you!

I got a tattoo done here and I loved the whole experience. I called and got an appointment the next day, normally I feel like I have to wait 2 weeks. The shop was clean and organized, I feel like the tattoo artist was one of the best Ive ever had (I only have 8 tattoos). The pricing was very reasonable and the customer service I received was awesome. I will likely continue to come back when I want to get another tattoo.

Not enough good things to say about Daniel. I came in, debating getting a first tattoo and after meeting him was sold. He worked with me to get the design perfect. His sense of humor put me at ease and overall it was a great experience.

I was looking for a Vertical Surface Tragus Piercing and no where would take me! Mantra was the first shop to say yes! Reluctantly I went knowing the piercing is uncommon and had an amazing experience! It looks great I can’t stop looking at! The shop was clean and very sanitary! Only coming here for all my piercing!

I came in without an appointment and managed to get seen and start on my tattoo within 20 minutes. Now I got a smaller design that was very simple due to it just being more of a thin line type design on my wrist. I would recommend trying to get an appointment if you are doing an actual piece.The location was extremely easy to find and get parking as well. Around here that is saying a lot. The inside is very clean, lively, and just really relaxed. I felt no pressure here and just like I could kick back and relax while I wait.The shop has a $100 dollar minimum so always keep that in mind if you have a small piece you are wanting. Also remember to seriously tip your artist least 10% on top of that.I had Timothy Kidd do my tattoo and he was just very nice and welcoming. He listened to what I wanted and made sure to come back with the perfect size and picture already done. He was not frustrated at all when I asked for him to do a tad smaller and it looks amazing. Great experience! I felt very welcome my everyone in the shop. I ended up expanding my original piece into a half sleeve and Levi was there for every step. Every change, every random thought. I liked that he was always respectful, yet really great at steering me away from getting a little too much, when I would get overexcited. You know, the sudden inspiration of can we add this, that, incorporate this? He never made me feel like I was an annoyance or anything of the sort, which I would think would be a difficult line to walk. I felt he truly was vested in me having a piece I would cherish. I absolutely love his work he did and patience with me. The added bonus is the shop is very comfortable and clean, and everyone there is so nice and welcoming. Truly great people at Mantra.

I had a great experience with Daniel Juarez. He worked on finishing my sleeve for me and the work he has done far surpasses expectations. The quality of his work combined with his rates are truly one of a kind. Before I found Mantra I had been tattooed by four different artists at four different shops. What drew me to this particular shop was the atmosphere. There isnt that holier than thou attitude here, when you come in you are greeted right away and asked how you can be helped. I personally get my work done by Geno who is always lovely and eager with ideas but I honestly would feel comfortable getting tattooed by any of the artists- and thats saying a lot. I have gotten my last six tattoos here and will continue to do so even when I move out of the Lakewood area next month. I also want to give some praise to Luke, their piercer, as well as he has helped me countless times. He pierced my septum which healed like a breeze and even helped remove piercings that were rejecting from another shop and explained to me what went wrong. He is also doing a ton to step up their jewelry selection as well which is nice to see.I get asked almost daily where I get my work done and I never hesitate to suggest Mantra to everyone. Ive found my shop for life.

I am absolutely blown away by the service that cory clinton provided! he repierced my septum for me after it was previously pierced crooked elsewhere. he made me feel super comfortable, was waaay thorough and detailed, and even fitted me with a smaller ring that was more suited for my face. he did an outstanding job and i really appreciate it. my husband and i will be back to get more piercings from cory in the future. thank you, i am so happy with my new piercing! 🙏💕ps, he didnt use the clamps on my septum, which is a major plus! and the pain was minimum and quick!

Amazing work! This is the cleanest most skilled tattoo shop Ive ever been in. Tyler Hollyfield is midway through a large piece in my back and shoulder and I have gotten endless compliments.Everyone who sees my back who has any ink immediately tells me that the line work is amazing. It is. Generally people will compliment but when over a dozen people who are fully inked tell you the same thing as soon as your tat hits their eye you know its true! People who had initially referred me to their friends and families instead of Mantra were asking for his name and the name of the shop!The setting is comfortable and clean but still edgy and old school. They make you feel like a friend or family and are honest in their pricing and consultations. I was there for some time and every piece I saw was done better than you would expect! I cant wait to go back for more!!

Great shop!! I came in for snake bites and jasmine did an awesome job. Everyone was super nice and helpful and took the time to make sure I got what I wanted. Pricing was reasonable too!

Low stars because I was OVER CHARGED by ALOT. Especially after visiting other shops in recent weeks and speaking with friends who have their own shops. $408 for 3 piercings and 2 pairs of jewelry & one pair wont fit after swelling goes down as I was told. I was also charged a service charge for each pair even the ones Im not wearing that wont fit.Shop around. I didnt.I only went outside of my friend group because I wasnt comfortable with my close friends seeing my tatas.Price sucked but clean professional positive environment I just feel like I got overcharged tremendously.

Jen has tattooed both my wife and I with larger pieces and she is such a professional. She makes sure that your tat is exactly how you like it, and draws to perfection. Her line work is amazing, and the attention to detail is perfect. I found Mantra on Denvers top 10 and it lives up to the hype. Ask for Jen! - but honestly ANY of the artists there look very experienced, we saw some cool pieces walk out of there!

I love this shop, it is super clean and professional and the overall atmosphere is better than any tattoo shop I have ever been to. My artist is Jen she has tattooed me since I turned 18 she tattooed my whole sleeve and the start of my other arm. She has also done multiple tattoos for both of my parents, as well as some of my friends, We all love her!!!! not only is she an AMAZING artist but she is very professional and has never dissapointed any of us. If you want an amazing tattoo by a super awesome artist I HIGHLY recommend Jen, I won’t get a tattoo from any other shop.

After doing my research for an artist that could cover up an old tattoo with style, I found Tyler McCall. The shop is extremely clean and the entire team is friendly. Tyler sent me the image before my appointment so that he could tweak it and make it exactly what I was looking for. My session was around 4 hours long and the entire time Tyler was extremely tentative. Tyler even messaged me the next day to check and how I was doing. I have never been so happy with any of my tattoos or experiences until now. Thank you again Tyler !

Daniel Juarez is an excellent tattoo artist! I brought in a hand drawn idea and he took his time creating a perfect tattoo. He is a timely and friendly artist for both my husband and I. The shop as a whole was incredibly clean and had a pleasent, inviting atmosphere. I had an enjoyable experince and will definitely be back!

Great experience. Everyone really nice and welcoming. Shop is very clean and appealing. Cory did my piercing. Got an inner conch and a stomach surface piercing. He was so patient and attentive and made sure I felt completely comfortable with everything before he pierced. Very sterile with changing his gloves everytime he touched something different. He even customized my stomach jewelry to what he thought would look nice and he was right, both piercings came out so cute. He was quick and the pain for both was about 3-4/10 and im a whimp!!! Thanks so much for a great experience! Will def recommend and go back!

Went to mantra tattoo on a referral and Daniel is THE BEST!! I call him feather fingers, as my tattoo didn’t hurt at all. He was really helpful and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. He’s also hilarious. 10/10 would recommend.

Love this place. Cool vibe. Chris Y. Is crazy talented. He cranked out a small word tat (see pic) that was special to me and drew free hand a peacock feather for a cover on my back. We were able to get all of the black outline done in the same session. Nice guy to boot. I think their pricing is reasonable as well.

I researched and visited about 8 different Tattoo Studios, in the neighborhood, before choosing Mantra.Hands down the best, cleanest studio with a great variety of different styles and skills to back it up.Great artists, with a good attitude to go with it - no big egos here, everyone is very cool and legit.Kidd has worked on both my sleeves, both chest panels and is now working on my half leg piece, with the other fresh leg and back piece down the road.And to top it off, I personally think they have one of the more honest rates per hour to go with it all. My son got a tattoo here. They got him in without an appointment which was great, the artist did a great job on the drawing. Price was reasonable. He went slightly to deep in some spots but that is to be expected anymore pretty much everywhere u go. My son said he would definitely come here again.

Kidd did my Kylo Ren tattoo and it turned out awesome! He did an incredible job and is super personable. The shop has a great vibe. Highly recommend this place for any of your tattoo needs. I’ll for sure be back.

Good customer service is a rare find these days, but at Mantra they exceeded my expectations from the first Hello on the phone to the last Goodbye after our piercings! Little Chris was fun yet very professional and did beautiful work! The prices were a little high...but you pay for what you get and every penny was worth it! Thank you Mantra!!!

I give Mantra my highest rating. I had a professional experience from beginning to end. Michael is an outstanding artist who took my ideas and sketches and created a fantastic design. I experienced very little discomfort and I appreciated that the studio was very sanitary. I highly recommend Mantra and Michael!

I just got an awesome tattoo by Daniel Juarez and it turned out amazing! I got a lotus on my throat and he went above and beyond what I expected, it turned out amazing. The staff is really great and helpful and the music is rad! I’m definitely coming back here for more tattoos in the future

I went into Mantra and talked to Daniel on 1/7/20. I left a $50 deposit and it was explained to me that if I was a no show on 2/8/20 that they would keep $25 which is totally fair. In my communication with him via text/phone I found him to be very unaccommodating in his willingness to show me any artwork in a timely manner. Not feeling comfortable with that I called to cancel appointment and talked to Porsche, the manager and she said they will not refund any of my deposit, even though they spent zero time on coming up with any artwork. Poor way to do business.

Amazing place to get a tattoo! Will definitely be a repeat visitor!
