I had been looking to get a tattoo for a long time and couldnt recommend a better shop. The atmosphere is welcoming and everyone is passionate about what they do. Ben the owner did my tattoo and it turned out better than I originally envisioned.For me, Stolas as a character is about finding your own happiness in life and being comfortable with who you are. I wanted to represent that message and make my own path official. So, I really appreciated the hard work that went into bringing that vision to life. Thank you again and it really means a lot.

Love this shop so much! Super clean, beautiful work on the walls, staff is always very friendly. Angelica is so so amazing and talented! Great bedside manner :) everyone should experience being in her chair at least once!

Can some one please tell me why I hadnt heard of this shop before!?!? Cool freaking people, clean and sanitized environment, and phenomenal artists! Spent the afternoon with Peach and they were amazing! Great vibe, lowkey environment, and a skilled hand at getting the color where it looks gorgeous 😍 Everyone was super friendly and the shop has a ton of oddities to check out during breaks. I had a wonderful experience with Peach getting my tattoo. They were very professional, yet very comforting. I was nervous yet excited about getting my first always visible tattoo but Peachs demeanor and experience quickly turned it to just excitement. They recommended going with a gradient shading instead of full black and I can not express enough how amazing it turned out. Thank you Peach and thank you Creature Arcade!!

I just started working at creature arcade but I have been tattooed here a few times before I started working and I have to say it is one of the coolest most unique tattoo spaces I have ever seen. Everyone is really nice it feels welcoming and laid back, it’s clean, and there is art and stuff to look at everywhere. It’s a hidden gem worth uncovering for any tattoo collector.

The shop is very clean and sanitized! I love the environment and how open it is! I always go to Angelica! She has been doing my tattoos since i first started getting them and it is worth the drive!

I followed my tattoo artist here and Saras work is always amazing.now this shop has so much 90s nostalgia in it, I felt right at home while getting a new tattoo to the collection. Cant wait to go back love the atmosphere of this shop.

Super friendly and amazing artists. They know what theyre doing here and are knowledgeable about tattoos and after care. Plus the shop is a great place filled with pop culture art, toys, etc. Couldnt suggest a better tattoo shop.

This tattoo shop could easily double as a modern art exhibit. All of the artists are supremely talented in multiple media. The owner, Ben Theisen is an amazing artist and weve just begun the process of adding Oogie Boogie to my Jack Skellington. Hes very personable and so damned talented! Seriously, you gotta book here!

My artist, Angie, was patient and accommodating. She was able to add all of the elements that I described into a tattoo that I love. Ben, owner/operator, was helpful in directing me to the artist best suited for the style of tattoo that I wanted. I felt very comfortable in this shop and Ill definitely return for my next tattoo.

I’ve debated posting this review for a while because Angelica is a wonderful person and her energy is great BUT her work unfortunately isn’t great. After picking one of her personal flash sheets she didn’t have the right colors to tattoo with which I was bummed about but we chose other ones and it wasn’t the end of the world. However she went too deep and my tattoo is messed up with scarring on one side from how deep she went. I also can’t read the words on it because she messed that up too. Additionally I have over 20 tattoos on my body and that is the only tattoo I have that STINGS anytime I shower or put any kind of lotion on it. I unfortunately don’t trust Angelica to fix the parts she messed up on color wise as well. SAVE YOURSELF THE REGRET AND $ DONT GO TO HER

Ben has done quite a bit of work on me now. He obviously does exceptional work, and good to talk to while the time passes. Excellent work and an overall great experience.

Ive been tattooed by Angelica (@theangelsfruit) twice now. Both times have been an INCREDIBLE experience and I always feel extremely comfortable and safe. She did an incredible job on both tattoos! She is incredibly kind and caring with her clients. Get tattooed by Angelica!!

I’ve been to quite a few tattoo places all over Colorado and without a doubt this place is my favorite I’ve been to. Super friendly, great people who work here and top notch artists. I couldn’t be happier with the work I had done from Ben! If you are in need of a tattoo and want it to look fantastic look no further. 100/10. This is the one and only tattoo place I’ll go to from now on!

This studio has crazy good vibes, and so did the artist I worked with. I got two tattoos from Peach over a month ago and they’re both healing very well. They came out so nicely and I’m looking forward to going back.

I loved coming into the shop to meet my artist while she was in town. She was made welcome, which made me feel welcome in turn. The shop was clean and well kept. And because Im a huge nerd, there was plenty for my eyes to ogle while I wasnt being worked on. Im glad she and I were able to enjoy the experience. Thanks!

Cant get over how awesome my tattoo, done my Foster Grey, came out!!! I am obsessed!!!!

Heard about this place from my uncle and he told me to go out there to get my shoulder done. He texted me Ben’s number (one of the artist there) and I shot him a text. Once he responded we talked about what I wanted to get, getting measurements of my shoulder, and scheduling what day to come out there. Once the day came to get inked, I walked in and the atmosphere there is awesome some cool artwork everywhere you look. Ben and the other artists are super nice. When it came time to get ready Ben did the sanitary procedures before laying the stencil on me. And when he was laying the stencil he made sure it was in the best position on my body. I got a great horned owl on my shoulder in remembrance of my great grandma and it looks amazing. I can’t stress enough how much I love this tattoo. All the little details he put into the owl along with the the amazing line work. Perfection. Also everyone in the shop is super cool to talk to. I talked to Ben for a good portion of getting tattooed and the other artists came and stopped by to check out the work and talk to me. Overall, I would recommend this shop to anyone. 5 stars. FYI I came all the way from Tennessee just to come here.

I had an excellent experience at Leviathan. The shop is well kept, clean and has a nice vibe. The artists that work there are so talented and so professional! I had the privilege of getting tattooed by Christel and it was an amazing experience. She made me feel comfortable the entire time and the work she does is just phenomenal. I will never go anywhere else for a tattoo again! Highly recommend this place and Christel!

This shop is SO COOL!! All sorts of amazing art and its seriously nerd heaven. Jimmy was one of the best artists Ive ever worked with. Amazing with the needle and just a really great dude all around. Everyone else was super friendly and the shop was very clean and safe. Highly recommend!!

Came here to see a guest artist and man this place is cool. Plenty of memories all over to look at while youre getting inked. Everyone was friendly, shop was very clean. Saw the owner covering up or something that was all black and wow, never knew could make something out of a big black ink blob, awsome tattooing.

Megan Bottle did an amazing job on my floral arm band tattoo! She was highly professional and relined and relined until we both agreed that the placement was best. She spent 6.5 hours rolling through my tattoo and did a fantastic job! Would recommend her to anyone who asked about great black and line work. The environment of the shop was nice, as well.

At the age of 63 I decided to get my first tattoo in memory of my late husband. I was nervous. Been put me at ease right away. He worked with me on my design until it was just right, giving suggestions (that made the design better) but was also willing to let me take the lead on what was going on my arm. He worked quick enough so I didnt feel like Id been sitting there forever, but took his time to get every detail just right. I loved his work immediately. I loved it so much in fact that I booked my next tattoo with him two days later. I loved the second one just as much. If I decide to get any more tattoos, Ill fly to Denver from Dallas to have him do the work. His prices are fair and competitive, his work is superior, his customer service is perfect, and on top of that, hes a hell of a nice guy. I highly recommend him.

This new shop is awesome! All of the artists here are phenomenal at what they do. If you want some amazing art on your body this is the best place in Denver to get tattooed. Thank you Christel and Leviathan Tattoo for the amazing experience and beautiful tattoo! I will be back!

Matt just got in to town and is already killing it. Watching him whip out the cleanest rose I wear was an honor. I had the pleasure of meeting Ben at two conventions and he was the most down to earth sincere guy. Happy I got to finally step in the arcade for some work and everyone there was all love and just the nicest kind of people you hope to meet. Talented, professional, genuine, good people work here. Go get a tattoo from them already.

I see Jessica at Leviathan. Shes done multiple of my tattoos including my sleeve. Shes amazing! So creative and talented. Amazing with color, amazing with black, plus you get great conversation while you get tattooed. I would recommend Jessica to anyone with a tattoo idea and some creative space for her to make it a masterpiece!!!!!! Get it!!!!!

Peach did a rad lil frog on my leg, and the color and line work is delightful. Exactly what I wanted. 🥰 And Peach was super great: communicative and accommodating throughout, from initial request, to collaborating on the booking, through payment. 😊😊😊

Ben did an amazing job on my cat portrait. Took 3.30hrs to get it done. Clean place and bathrooms were clean. Will come back to get my other cats done.

In my humble opinion, you want the best in tattoo, you go to Christel at Leviathan. Shes about as versatile as artists come and always has great insight into ideas to make your tat work better on your body.

I must check all the boxes for this place. I started going here off of a recommendation for a cover-up. I will continue to always go here as long as they are standing. Between Jimmy and Ben, can’t say enough about these two. You give an idea and let them go to work. They have since moved off of the Broadway location like google maps shows and the new location is much more spaced out. Thank you creature arcade.
