I got tattooed by Gavin. He was so extremely kind and discussed everything I would need to know about the tattoo I wanted and where I wanted. He was very understanding and he listened to me very well. Highly recommend scheduling an appointment here with anyone at Deeds of the Flesh.

I got my snake bite lip piercings done here (I believe by Tiffany) and it was great! It hurt a lot, but the piercer was super understanding and took her time instead of trying to rush me. She asked if I was ready, and I said yeah, then she told me my face was bright red and I was not ready, lol. She took the time to breath with me and wait for me to be actually ready. Super great sport about me accidentally screaming in her face and I was able to come in without an appointment. 100% would recommend. My piercings are now 1 month healed and look great, no infection :)

Gavin was amazing. We had a group of 6 of us. He was very patient as some of us changed things last minute. I added a second tattoo last minute. He was friendly and super knowledgeable. And our tattoos look great!! I Highly recommend him for your next tattoo!

Tiffany was the perfect person to pierce my 9 year old daughter’s ears. She made sure that the decision to have her ears pierced was hers, and hers alone, and took time to talk with her about how it’s done and how to take care of her ears afterward. Then, my 26 year old daughter was having the piercing in her septum removed and getting her nose pierced, and Tiffany was amazing with her, as well. Her instruments were sterile, the shop was clean, and the staff was professional. 😊

We had my 5y go in to get her ears pierced. They were amazing with her. My 5y was in complete control of the situation, they explained everything made sure she was good with getting it done and even explained that if she only wanted one that day we would work through it later. We where worried about allergic reactions, she taught us how to keep them clean and told us to get a hold of anytime if we felt she was having a reaction to get help or come in to get a different metal. Her goal was to make sure they healed correctly and my daughter felt comfortable. Her ears are healing up amazing! Would recommend everyone go here for kids getting their ears done!

I visited Deeds of the Flesh with a friend on a random afternoon when we had the time. We were accommodated without appointments fairly easily. We were not easy clients. I was weary about getting my septum pierced for the second time (which was elsewhere) because the first time during the healing process the piercing had shifted making it visibly crooked as well as a few other issues. I believe it was Tiffany that performed the service but she was very patient, answered all of our questions and triple checked the placement. At the end she made me feel welcome to come back during the healing process if I needed any assistance with cleaning or noticed any shifting, which I havent.The friend that was with me was also very anxious because she had previously had her lip pierced (also elswhere) and had a very bad experience. After having all of her questions answered, Tiffany again triple checked the placement got the clamps on and was ready to go. My friend backed out. Tiffany handled this with the utmost patience and care. She made her feel welcome to come back later, which she did and went through with it the second time.I cant recommend Tiffany enough for your piercing needs, take it from us two who had a bad experience previously at two separate professional shops.Thank you Tiffany!

Johnny was the very best artist Ive ever had. Yes, my daughter and I had very simple tattoos, but it was his overall kindness and how he truly made my daughter (who was allowed this 1 tattoo for reason) feel so good and proud to be herself. Hands down the best shop in the Thornton/Northglenn area! When my brother unexpectedly passed away I was a whirlwind of emotions. I wanted to get a memorial tattoo ASAP and they were able to get me in so fast. The appointment was great, the tattoo was perfect, the healing process was so smooth! Beyond that, the owner was so compassionate and my tattoo artist, Morgan, was amazing.

Tiffany was wonderful! My son was getting his first earring piercings and I needed help with my old 2nd & 3rd ear piercings that were giving me trouble. We got them at the end of January, but life got crazy and I failed to put up my review.She was so knowledgeable and helpful. I wish I had never gone the mall store, piercing gun route. This was so much better and they healed beautifully. Tiffany also answered all our questions about the piercings and a little about tattoos as well. I highly recommend Tiffany!!

My mom and I decided to get matching tattoos on a whim. We walked in without an appt but Jerry was kind enough to take both of us in between his busy schedule! My mom wanted a cluster of stars and he was very kind and patient drawing up a couple of sketches for us. Would absolutely recommend Deeds and Jerry!

I can not emphasize enough how good my experience was. My piercer told me the piercings I didnt have the right anatomy for, she didnt just let me get the piercing and waste my money. She helped me find a piercing similar to the one I wanted that would work with my anatomy. She didnt rush through, even though there were other people in line. She gave great instructions too. I think this is a great place to go for your first piercing.

The owner and piercer, Tiffany, and her apprentice (Im sorry I cant remember her name) are both fantastic at what they do! They are extremely knowledgeable and take the time to sit and talk about what will work and what wont for each individual. I appreciate that they let me know if something isnt going to work well for me and we can figure out a better alternative. Most shops will just pierce anyone and anywhere to make money, not these girls. They have beautiful jewelry, great bedside manner and incredibly friendly and fun to chat with. Highly recommend them for all your piercing needs!

Was a great experience, I came in for an industrial piercing and they were SUPER busy being as its tax season. I added my name to the list and came back. Still waited for a few but it was well worth it. Tiffany was my piercer and she was incredible. She made me feel very comfortable, she cracked jokes, and kept a smile on her face, despite being busier than a rooster in a henhouse. She was very informative, very professional, and very kind and helpful. She let me know that my ear shape want suited for where I wanted to place my piercing, suggested it would be better to put it in at a more diagonal angle and so it wouldnt sit on my antihelix and irritate me as my ear is shape funny. She made sure to give me aftercare info before I left, and she was even nice enough to look at another piercing of mine that had been bothering me. Ive never had such a pleasant experience before, and will happily come back if I get the urge for a new piercing. Thanks again Tiffany, you were awesome!

Absolutely love this shop!! After my second tattoo with John I decided I wanted to get a daith piercing as well. Tiffany was absolutely amazing, she is incredibly professional, knowledgeable and patient. I have done a lot of research on daith piercings for migraine and anxiety relief. I know it is not guaranteed to work for everyone but my anxiety has decreased and I have not had a migraine since getting the piercing. Thank you Tiffany for being a rockstar, I will absolutely be back!!

Tiffany, the body piercer was great! I had a belly piercing that had narrowed, but not closed. She worked on it, and got it opened for me, so I could put another piece of jewelry into it. I called to see if she had time, and was in and out of there in less than 20 minutes. I’ll be going back for ink, I’m sure, because it’s a nice, clean place too!

I had been thinking of getting my nips pierced for quite some time since having them done years ago before becoming a mother. I looked around for shops and found DOTF and after going in to chat with the piercer I was confident I had found the right one. The piercer Ashleigh was very kind and professional. As this can be a VERY personal type of perciercing I was very thankful for her cheerful attitude and in depth description of the aftercare period. I had such an amazing experience that I went back for a dermal to be placed under my clavicle.

After moving to Texas, I came back to Colorado to visit family. I had contacted Johnny a couple weeks prior to today, asking if hed be willing and able to do another tattoo for me. I asked him for my bulldog Phragms noseprint, since he died rather suddenly a few months ago. Johnny Delvired and I even cried after getting to see the final product. I will always recommend Johnny and his skills as an artist.Thank you again for fitting me in in such a weird time in the world right now!Ive been going to Johnny for almost a year now, hes done 7 of my tattoos and 5 of my mothers. He is one of the best artists Ive ever gone to and he always remembers me when I go in for another one. Honestly I am scared to find a new shop here in Texas, cause I know he wont be there! Miss him, miss the shop and I miss the service.

Stay away! I read the reviews on here and there was only 1 bad review. That person said the artist did a bad drawing and she ended up leaving. I thought oh its just an upset person but my experience was even worse.I went to get a pretty simple tattoo. It was dog tags for my dogs past and present with a military dog tag chain. John is the artist I got and he did the drawing in under 5 minutes which was fine it was close to what I wanted. I tried to explain and then show him a picture of what i wanted for the chain and he didnt want to see it. He just kept saying i know i know i got this. You are going to love it. Then he didnt even shave the area even after i asked if he was going to. So i trusted he knew what he was doing. Was i wrong!I got home and really looked at what i got and the tag lines were sloppy and the chain was a bunch of uneven circles that werent even complete circles. My 10 year old daughter could have done better.So I made an appointment to get it fixed at another shop and she did a great job making the best out of what she had to work with.I then tried to contact the owner to try to get my money back to pay for the other artist to fix it. She was on vacation which was fine. So I waited for her to call when they said she would be back from vacation. Still didnt hear from her so I called and they said she was sick and that she would call yesterday. I never heard from her so I am writing this. I am not only disgusted with how I was treated by the artist who was just trying make a quick buck but also the owner who is obviously avoiding me to not reimburse me for the tattoo. So now I am out $360 for a $180 tattoo.I reccomend you go to see Jessica at davians up the road. She is an amazing up and coming artist who actually listens to her clients.I am not the type of person who writes reviews for every little thing. I am writing this to hopefully save someone else from making a permanent mistake like I did.

I walked in to blaring rap music - not just loud but obnoxiously so. When someone finally decided to ask me if they could help me I received a rude Can I help you from someone who seemed they would rather have me go away than get any art from them.After showing the man what I had wanted, he told me to look at some art by other artists, didnt ask any questions and didnt tell me anything else. After looking for about 15-20 minutes, no one ever asked me anything else. I got the impression that I simply was not welcome there and they did not want my business.This is the first place I visited to get my first tattoo and wish I hadnt visited.I have since taken my business elsewhere and had an incredibly different experience.

I was getting my first tattoo to memorialize my baptism. John did my tattoo and was so careful! The detailing and color looks great and I’m so pleased! Definitely going back!

My sister and I went there to get matching tattoos in memory of our brother. We had a general idea of what we wanted. The first artist to help us immediately started trying to change what we wanted, he was mumbling and just flat out weird. He seemed like he was not in his right state of mind and neither one of us were comfortable with him. Thankfully he disappeared outside so we picked up the portfolio we liked the best and asked whos it was. A guy named Adam started helping us out. We explained what we wanted and he went to draw it up. He came back and didnt even put our brothers name in the tattoo which we were very specific about having it in there. He also messed up the placements of the dates of birth/death. It was obvious he didnt really listen to a word we said. He then tried to talk us out of putting his name in and it was obvious he just didnt want to deal with it. We wanted his name in so he wrote his name and stuck it in the bottom. After putting the stencil on me my sister and I thought the whole tattoo just looked horrible so we decided not to get it. He then told us we needed to throw him 20$ for his work I have never heard of paying an artist money after not liking what he drew up because it was not what we wanted. None of the artists were helpful whatsoever and the vibe in that place was horrible. No wonder that shop is always dead every time I drive by. The drawing was horrible and not even worth 5$ in my opinion. We went to Thick as Theives tattoo shop and it was a whole different experience. Artists were so helpful and they said they would never charge someone for a drawing they didnt like. I will make sure to tell everyone I know to never go to Deeds of the flesh in Thornton.

We went in for my sons first tattoo with Johnny. We are beyond pleased with his work, friendliness and professionalism. We have now went back and had more added onto his tattoo and will continue to go to Johnny for all his tattoos.

Messaged to ask if we could schedule 3 people for a tattoo. They said we had to come in to schedule so we go in and I guess it was their lunch break as all but one person was sitting in their back room hanging out and eating (with the door open so they could see us and we could see them). The guy at the desk completely ignored us. There were several other people waiting and no one said a thing to anyone. The guy at the desk must have been getting ready to tattoo someone but who knows, he didnt say a word to us. Someone came out of the back, probably to get a ketchup packet or something, wouldnt even look at us, turned around and went back to whatever they were doing in the back room. Ive never felt like an inconvenience and completely invisible before, so after standing there for ten minutes we left. It was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. Dont ask people to come in to schedule appointments and then act like they dont exist when they do. We went down the street and got treated with respect and got in right away and got wonderful little tattoos, with wonderful service.

If youre in need of a high quality artist, see Jonny. He is down to earth & easy to work with. More than fair tattoo rates & the shop is ALWAYS clean. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Dont go to this shop. Jerry did half of my forearm tattoo and then canceled the 2nd session saying he wasnt the right artist for my tattoo. Total flake! Quality was as good as expected either.

If you are even considering a tat - go see Jerry!!! I have two that he did and he does EXTREMELY good work.

When searching for a quick place to go to buy jewerly it seems like this should be the perfect place, but dont be fooled. This place has horrible horrible service and now that I have had my jewerly I purchased for a month I have had to throw it away due to lack of quality! DONT GO HERE!! I spend over 35 mints in the shop being ignored, and then was blown off by the manager when I wanted to talk about my visit. I also did see some of their work while I was waiting! Horrible totally C level tats that you could get anywhere. For tats I highly HIGHLY recommend Junkyard Ink which is just mints from this location, or for jewerly Ashley with Sol Tribe is a true professional and worth the drive up i-25.

Adam does great artwork along with being a really cool guy. The entire staff is welcoming and setting up an appointment was easy. I cant say enough about these guys!
