Erica my GIRL has slowly become my go-to artist over the last couple years because of her unique style and the overall vibe she creates when tattooing. She’s super professional while also being really easy to talk to. She’s committed to making sure you’re comfortable and will go the extra mile to make sure you’re happy with the design & placement. I’ve now had 4 (not small) tattoos by her and every experience is awesome - the whole process is smooth because she knows what she’s doing, she radiates warm energy with good music and conversation, and you obviously get to leave with some stunning ink by the end. Get in her books asap!!!

Erica is both the sweetest person and a super talented artist. I was searching for a fine line specialist to do a small, simple watermelon tattoo and she absolutely crushed it. Not even a month later, Mashroom was doing their Flash Friday, and I went back for another on a whim! Erica is kind, professional, patient, easy to talk to, her work is so fun and playful, and I couldnt be happier with the results. The studio itself is chill and welcoming, especially being a woman-owned business I feel extremely comfortable and safe here.

Erica is so incredibly talented! I had 2 tattoos done by Erica almost a year ago and I constantly get compliments on how amazing they look. Both are fine line and Erica really helped during the process. I wrote out my idea with reference photos and she absolutely nailed it. I said I was open to her ideas and I am so glad I did because she made my vision come to life that much better. During the appointment she made me feel so comfortable and really listened to what I pictured in terms of sizing, placement, etc. Seriously such a great experience and I will absolutely be back!

Yesterday I came to get tattooed by Emma and it was such an amazing experience i already booked for another appointment next month!!!. as someone with anxiety who loves tattoos it can be overwhelming experience to have to sit still especially when is someone you’ve never met before but Emma made me feel so comfortable and didn’t make me feel awkward or anxious. Her amazing work speaks for itself and she really makes the most out of her time to insure you’re happy with the end result. I am very happy to be wearing her art on my body. 10/10 experience and am looking forward to having her fill up my arm!

Erica is awesome! I got my first tattoo from Flash Friday this past summer and Erica was super attentive and kind. The tattoo healed really well. The studio is clean and super cool - there’s art everywhere and fun things for sale (crochet mushroom-shaped bags, etc). Everyone is super friendly here.

I am only 3 days in from getting my tattoo but am oh so happy!The studio was communicative and supportive it getting an appt set up, and gave clear instructions on pricing, what to expect and more.Once there I think I had the most informative tattoo conversation, that transcended just the normal process and care.I was fixing a faded tattoo and Cynthia put so much care and precision into making it align while improving quality that it was beyond impressive.Overall I got a great tattoo, felt supported, safe and in great hands while doing so.

Erica is one of my favorite tattoo artists in the Denver area. Her designs are always fun and different than other artists, she’s I credibly kind and personable, and has as gentle as a hand as you can have as a tattoo artist. I had my appointment with Christine and it was the best experience!! She is a true artist, was so helpful during the consultation. I went in with a couple pictures for reference but was open to ideas, and she was amazing at suggesting different ideas and asking great questions to figure out exactly what I would want. Not to mention, she was lovely to talk to during the 6 hours I was at the studio and she is AMAZING at tattooing. I couldn’t recommend her enough, and I’ll be going back to her soon enough 💛

As someone who has been tattooed quite a bit, I never really knew how heavy-handed my artists were until I got tattooed by Emma…it was the least painful tattoo experience of my life! I was able to go to her with vague, unspecific ideas and she was able to take my thoughts and turn them into beautiful art. It blows my mind at the quality of work she produced with the amount of experience she has. I’m lucky to have two pieces from her and I can’t wait to get more! The vibe of Mashroom Studios is relaxing and welcoming and honestly just cool as hell. This shop is one to check out for sure.

Hands down the best tattoo shop in Denver or anywhere to be honest). I met Cynthia and Masha a few years ago and hit it off right away. The talent of every artist at this shop is amazing and the vibe of the studio is great. I’ll never go anywhere else for tattoos and highly recommend checking them out.

Masha is amazing! She was very considerate of my comfort levels, she’s easy to talk to (and easy to sit in silence with) and really cares about each design. The studio is also great, with a chill ambiance and a stellar tea bar. Overall a fantastic experience!

Erica was able to take my ideas and create a beautiful work of art. She listened carefully to what I wanted and she patiently allowed me to give my input leading up to the day of tattooing. It was my first big piece and she knocked it out of the park in all aspects. I will be back.

So Ive been with Alex Suarez since my first tattoo when she was an apprentice and for good reason. She always listens to all of my ideas and goes beyond what I had envisioned. My latest tattoo is probably my new favorite, the lines and shading is absolutely amazing and she brought to life my childhood with the faeries, adding in that extra something I didnt know it needed. I always recommend my friends to her and will continue to go to her as well.

I had the absolute best time at this studio. All the artists are charming and unique individuals who are all super fun to chat with. Emma designed a really beautiful and intentional piece of art with me and put it on my forearm and to this day is one of my favorite pieces. Check out the picture :) 10/10 recommend !

Mashroom Studios is the best tattoo studio I’ve ever been to! I’ve never really felt comfortable in other tattoo shops/studios in the past - whether it was the grunge-y vibe, the too loud rock music, or the values/morals of the tattoo studio/artists, it just never felt like a comfortable space for me to be in. As a queer woman, it felt amazing to walk through the Mashroom Studios doors knowing that it was a safe space. Besides that, the vibes are SO much more my style - there’s amazing art everywhere, the artists are all super friendly (even if they aren’t the one you’re working with), and the entire place just feels open and welcoming. I worked with Erica on a design that I had been wanting for a while and she totally crushed it! She was super communicative and responsive to my inquiry and what I wanted, made me feel welcomed when I got to the studio and was so friendly & easy to chat to during the 2.5hr session. I would recommend Mashroom Studios & Erica to anyone looking for an awesome space to get tattooed at in Denver!

I’ve been to several different tattoo shops in the Denver area over the years and have always struggled with the environment not feeling welcoming, but Mashroom is 100% a game changer for me. Cynthia did a wrap around sternum piece on me and i couldn’t be happier. I got a tattoo with Erica Inagaki of a fine line bird cage tattoo I have been dreaming up for a year or so! This tattoo is detailed in straight fine lines, which is exactly why I chose Erica as my artist. She did such an incredible job on this tattoo and I am so stoked on it. Went in to get a small tattoo from a coworker who is finishing up her apprenticeship.I love the vibe. There really isnt any major indicator on the street that this place is even here, but as soon as you walk in its a cool spot. Loved the range of art and local vendors that had showcased when you first go up to their main lobby. I went at night and I also think that added to the allure. My artists mentor was great and giving her space to do her work while also being a support voice. When an unexpected power outage was potentially going to cancel our appointment, Masha and Cynthia went above and beyond to accommodate me and my friends, and we all completely love our tattoos. My (now) fiancé and I got matching tattoos by Cynthia last week while visiting from Texas. I found Cynthia on Instagram originally and from the very first interaction, communication was so clear. As someone with multiple tattoos already, I can 100% say that the work that Cynthia did on us was the best both of us have ever had. The studio houses multiple artists Including her wife, Masha. (Her work is also amazing) Cynthia sat down with us before the appointment with several sizing options and a few designs she made minimal changes too from our inspiration photo. Her awareness of sizing, placement, skin type, and shading was unmatched. I think that we just might drive from Texas for all of our future tattoos.

Mashroom Studios went above and beyond for my friends and I when we were traveling together to Denver to get matching tattoos. Their studio suffered from a power outage from no fault of their own right before we were scheduled to get our tattoos. We only had one day left in town, so rather than cancel on us, they tattooed us in the dark!! They pulled together last-minute generators and candles and lanterns and made it happen for us. Our fine-line tattoos turned out incredible, and it meant the world that they kept our appointment knowing that this would be our only shot to get our tattoos. They were also so knowledgeable about tattoos and aftercare and helped guide us when we had questions. If we lived in Denver, we would get ALL our tattoos done here. Highly recommend!
