Called ahead to see if they had time for a walk-in and a pleasant young woman answered quickly and informed me that David was available and ready for a walk-in. I headed over and was greeted nicely and David immediately started working on drawing my idea, even adding some ideas of his own that I enjoyed. He was quick with drawing up the idea and was very accommodating when I wanted the size and position changed even slightly. I was happy with the quote and stencil, so we began the session. This tattoo only took him about an hour, and he was chatting with me the whole time. The other two artists there also came and chatted a little during the tattoo and were pleasant. Will definitely recommend to everyone, a life-long customer was earned today for sure.

Doug has some fantastic talent as a tattoo artist and is enjoyable to speak with. Sarah is an unbelievably fast and awesome piercer. The entire staff are fun to be around and very welcoming. Great art on the walls will keep you looking around in wonder. They have fun and its a great atmosphere.My husband will be getting a sleeve done with Doug over the next few months. I look forward to adding photos proving his skill.I got a cover-up on my arm, and Daith piercing.

Rose is amazing! She welcomed me into the shop and was very helpful. She was very professional, kind and made me feel comfortable. Rose did a great job in switching out 3 piercings in my ear. Sarah was amazing! I got my belly button pierced and it was painless! Easiest piercing I have gotten. :) she made me feel calm, it’s a really chill environment and I was in and out quick. Super clean environment as well! :)

I wanted to share my experience because it was quite disappointing. During my first appointment, Donnell had to reschedule because he was running late. The next time, he was almost 45 minutes late. As an indecisive person, I expected the artist to help guide me and provide ideas on what would work best. Unfortunately, this was not the case. He charged me $180 for some shading on existing tattoos, but I can hardly see any difference. Im pretty upset and regret tipping him. I wont be coming back here again. The other staff members were nice, but the tattoo artist was very unprofessional.

Just got a beautiful tattoo from pablo today & i truly can’t express how great of an experience it was! he was so kind & understanding of my low pain tolerance & gave me all the breaks i needed. the space was clean and everyone there was so friendly. genuinely the best tattoo experience i could have asked for

Came in for two appts for nostril and septum-one for our teen, the other my SO. The crew here are friendly, funny, and knowledgeable and the shop is clean :)Somehow despite him feeling iffy about the septum and about to choose nostril like our daughter, he felt at ease and allowed Rose (the apprentice under Sara) to perform his piercing. Just got a piercing done by Rose and they were phenomenal not only was the piercing quick and barely hurt at all, but I totally passed out and the care I received afterwards was very comforting for such an overwhelming experience. I’d highly recommend if you’re looking for a very nice and chill piercing experience.

I just got my lip pierced and though there was a little trouble with my lip swelling surprisingly fast resulting in the jewelry shooting out my face lolSara was quick to help fix the issue and helped me walk out with my snake bits all finished

Very friendly and gracious shop that helped me out in a pickle!! Got a new post put in my lip piercing while visiting from out of town. The shop was bright, clean and had an amazing vibe.I had a malfunction with my lip piercing jewelry while at the gym and lost the screw on ball in the shower and didn’t notice until I was out and it was long gone down the drain. Mini panic in the gym and a google search in the car led me here immediately! So happy I went. Price was incredible for the speedy fast service!

I got four piercings done in less than 20 minutes! Booked an appointment same day. Excellent service in talking me through every step. The first time posts are a little long, but I’d rather have easy to clean and a safe healing process than try and rush hoops. Clean and friendly. Thank you so much!

I had my piercing here 2 years ago with a gentleman. Service was minimal. I came back for an upper lobe piercing this year with Sara. She gave me a sticker and was thorough through the whole process. They didnt have much earings upgrade. Though I would 100% come back for Sara in the future!

The piercings are very professional and i just recently got a tattoo from Donnel it looks very clean and nice i love it.

This shop is overall very unprofessional and way overpriced. I had booked an appointment for a very simple tattoo that wouldnt take any longer than 2 hours to complete. I received a call THE DAY BEFORE my appointment after waiting 2 months saying the artist got sick. How convenient. So I had to re-schedule. When I called to re-schedule they took down my name and number and I didnt hear anything from them. So, I called them back again after a week had passed with no word from them, and come to find out the tattoo artist booked me for a 5 hour session at $180 an hour.....WHAT!?!? $900 for a simple outline and a dash of color that would take no longer than a couple hours!?!? No thanks!!!! Might as well go for a sleeve at that price. What a waste of $100 (deposit). The way they handled the situation was very unprofessional due to their lack of communication and lack of care. This was very disappointing because MHT is where I got my first tattoo before they moved locations, so I was excited to return. But theyre never getting any of my business again and I wouldnt recommend this shop to anybody. There are plenty of shops that do great work and at a reasonable and upfront price. Oh, and the half hour wait just for someone to acknowledge me after walking in...Yeah, that was awesome too. I wish I had 4 hands so I could give this shop 4 thumbs down!👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻I went to another shop and got the tattoo I wanted, exactly how I wanted it, at not even half the price.

I’ve been here many times to get pierced by Sara and she always does absolutely amazing. I’ve moved further away but I keep coming back to this shop because of her. If you need a piercing and want someone who will do it right and make you feel comfortable come here and ask for Sara.

I have had mixed experiences here, but to summarize I won’t be back. My last piercings here were two forward helixes and a rook. The forward helixes were pretty botched. I removed them after two days. Im not a professional, but I felt like they looked weird as soon as I got a better look at home. Went to a very reputable piercing place (who has pierced my cartilage before) to get them looked at. The piercer there recommended I remove them immediately. The bars I was pierced with at Mile High were not the proper shape or length, and the piercing was too close to the skin surface. I was told that they had a good chance of rejecting. On the other hand, my rook, and all 4 of my lobe piercings seem to have no issues and are placed well. I didn’t want to leave a bad review because Natalie is very nice and did a good job with 5/7 of my piercings. However, the helixes were just not acceptable and I would not be comfortable being pierced here again because of that. On the plus side, the staff was very nice and helpful when I asked for a refund.

I rarely leave reviews but consider a different location if youre getting a tattoo.I recently went in for a tattoo at this location, having booked an appointment with Donnel, and I walked away incredibly disappointed in the service given and the tattoo I received as it is not what I asked for.I had communicated in advance with a picture of what I was wanting (traditional style dagger with a rose) and was told this would be easy for him to do. He did ask if he could make some small changes to the design to make it my own, to which I agreed but communicated I wanted the essence and style of what I sent.Being ensured this could be done, I booked an appointment.I arrived at 11am for my appointment and then proceeded to wait two hours before any work began. He had not worked on anything before I arrived and spent the majority of that waiting time ordering himself lunch and talking with his co-workers about how he had no motivation to work. During the waiting, I thought about leaving and losing my deposit and should have listened to my gut.At 1pm, he finally began working on my tattoo and during that time, I listened to another artist complain about taking walk-ins, two girls walked in with issues with piercings they had received and the artists sounded like a bunch of middle school students talking to each other. I had a bad feeling in my stomach but by that point, it was too late.Once he was done, I looked in the mirror with shock. While it was technically what I asked for (dagger and flower) the design was NOT what I asked for, didnt match my other tattoo or the image that I had shown him. In fact, most people that I have seen the tattoo I received have a hard time recognizing it as a rose.He attempted to fix it but the damage was already done and I now had this permanent mistake on my body.The environment here is unprofessional, there was a lack of care shown for what I wanted done and if I could go back, I would have walked out before the ink ever touched my skin and have no plans to ever step foot in this building again.Im now looking for another artist in the Denver area who might be able to cover it up or fix it, but now I have to pay more money to get the tattoo that I originally asked for and was told I would receive.

Amazing staff. Kind and friendly willing to help with any tattoo piercing issue you may have. I was scheduled for an MRI and couldnt get my nose ring out. I was very nervous and had a half hour before my appointment. They took me in and got the deed done and without knowing it, their kindness calmed my anxiety about my MRI. A small gesture that made a huge impact!

Asked for a traditional bat got a gremlin the tattoo is not straight and the artist was discussing how they regretted tattooing a Republican earlier that day, as if political views have anything to do with giving somebody a piece of art on their body mowgli seems to almost to hate his job bad vibes all around will not be back

Sarah was very precise with my piercings, really patient, and helpful, talking me through every step and really quick. Leaving me completely satisfied. I would most definitely come back for my work to be done.

My friend and I decided to get our nose pierced on a Wednesday morning, out of blue. We walked in and Sarah immediately helped us, she gave us quick and clean nose piercings and was super sweet while doing so! I loved it there so much that today I went back on my own and got a rook piercing and a helix done with Sarah again as another walk-in of hers. Both times I’ve gone here Sarah has always been open and honest with any of my questions, and gives great advice to help me decide what I wanna do. This is suuuuper helpful considering the fact that everyone going here is in many ways, permanently changing their bodies. Based on the overall environment, I can tell everyone working here is super chill while still taking their jobs very seriously and they care about their customers. 10/10 If you get a piercing, book with Sarah!!

My wife and my daughter both went there for the daith piercing (for headaches/migraines) at separate times. Both of them were really nervous but both Natalie and Sarah were really good at comforting them. It was really quick and they did a good job. We have recommended them to a number of our friends which plan on going in. I wish there was a referral rewards program. 😉

Great experiences all around!Last year (April 2022), my wife and I got our septums pierced by Natalie. She did a fantastic job, and I returned a month later for Natalie to pierce my eyebrow.A few months ago, my wife and I returned and Sara pierced our nipples, and some cartilage (daith and 2 helixes for me, second lobes and industrial for my wife). All of the piercings are fantastic and we appreciate the excellent service!Ive already brought a few of my friends to this shop for their piercings and will continue to do so!

I have been wanting another memorial tattoo for years...and have looked at hundreds of butterfly tattoo pics. I finally settled on one a couple of years ago...then the search for an artist began. The shop that did my previous tattoo had closed...but one day we were having lunch out, and I noticed Mile High Tattoo next door. Once home, we looked at their artists portfolios online, and found a beautiful flower and dragonfly tattoo done by Doug. The wings were SO realistic...iridescent! We went to the shop the next day, and were delighted that Doug was still there. We showed him the butterfly pic, and discussed changes, he said he would work something up, and we made the appointment. End result...a tattoo I love, which received 2 compliments the next day! Doug is soft spoken and attentive...he really listens. I will be back to see him for a touch up on my older tattoo...and any new ones! 100% recommend Doug, and the staff was super nice.

Wife & daughters have had a couple piercings done here and had good experiences. Scheduled a tattoo review for oldest daughter and piercing for youngest daughter. Wife and kids arrived early and the lady that opened up arrived angry, she told everyone since you all decided to get here at the same time you will all have to wait. No reason to greet customers that way, I arrived about 7 minutes after Wife and kids and they tried to explain to me that the appointment that was confirmed was double booked but before she could explain the lady at the front desk started yelling at us and told us if we have a problem we could get up and go somewhere else. This place does good work but there is no reason to allow employees to come in with a hangover or anger issues to treat customers that way. I will never be back in this shop and recommend anyone I know to stay away as well. Our 17 year old daughter designed her own tattoo and was really excited, now here first tattoo experience is a bad memory. What a shame.

If I could give this place a million stars, I would!I’ve been going to Mile High for about 4 years and I’ve NEVER had a bad experience. Charlie is a fantastic tattoo artist, and one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. He’s very welcoming to everyone, and is very collaborative//creative with design ideas. He has done 6/10 tattoos I have, and I plan on continuing going to him for pieces.I was pierced by Paul a couple years ago, very professional and willing to explain the process of his work. He kept his space very clean and sterile.Today I met with Natalie, a newer apprentice of Mile High, and she was nothing but the best! From the time of our first conversation to schedule, to the minute I walked out the door, Natalie was sweet, energetic, and had a great attitude. She did such a great job on my 3rd nose piercing, and I have faith she’ll make a fabulous piercer.Keep up the great work Mile High! ❤️

Got my very first piece done by Matt, was amazing from the minute I walked in. Super chill atmosphere and his work is phenomenal. If you want or need work hit Matt up for sure.

I had really good tattoo experiences with Donel and Pablo I got what I asked for with recommendations of some changes that I liked. All the artists there seemed to do quality work.

I booked an appointment with Pablo. He had a cancellation and immediately reached out to see if I wanted that appointment which was a few weeks sooner than my original appointment. When I got to the shop, Pablo had my design printed out. He made sure it was just what I wanted and reprinted it several times for me. He was patient and kind. During my session, Pablo made me feel like I was a friend, he carried on great conversations and his work is awesome. I will be back and recommend anyone looking to get a tattoo to book with Pablo!

I had pulled out my nose ring and was unable to put it on myself and found this place, they did really great helping me put it back on, place is nice and clean. My friend also got her nose pierced here and loved it. Only issue I had was getting the run around to try to get an appointment for some ink.

Decided to get my mose pierced! They got me in the same day and Sara is fantastic! Didnt feel a thing, and I look dead sexy!!! Ill be back

Got my belly button pierced 2 days ago and my daughters done today. Theyre professional, nice and the price is right. Im recommending mile high tattoo to everyone. I will be going back for future piercing and tattoos to cover my daughters scars. Not to mention the artwork Ive got planned for myself.Havent got tattoo there yet but plan on it real soon.

I recently had a tattoo done by Matt. He was professional and listened to what I wanted. I sent him several pictures of ideas that I liked and he designed an amazing tattoo for me. He answered all my questions before and after my appointment. Great communication! When I went into the shop all of the guys were friendly and the shop was very clean. Matt took every precaution to ensure a safe, clean environment and that I felt comfortable the entire time. I highly recommend Matt and Mile High!

Darnell seems not to like his job or work environment and just is unhappy individual it seemed or maybe he does not like to do simple tattoos of dog paws. Asked for a touch up and was told I had to pay 100 for touch up. Not sure if they treat everyone like this or if its just me. I hope mile high will reach out to me to fix this tattoo. Dont like so I wont even post a picture of it. Im sure he does amazing work but her was in a hurry to get me out. Nice place but unsure why I was treated this way.

I brought my daughter in to have her septum pierced. The staff was very professional, polite and nice. Zack was the piercer he was kind, gentle and knew what he was doing. He was clear in the information about the piercing and aftercare. He really seems to enjoy his job. The girl that works the counter was amazing too...super nice and made us feel comfortable. I put down 2 deposits for $60 and was unable to use them right away. I called today and they said the tattoo artist left and I can no longer use the credits. This is such poor business ethics. In addition, when my sister went to get a tatto she was treated very poorly as well. I would not recommend this shop at all.

Doug is awesome. He has done almost a dozen tats on me. I am very satisfied with all of them.

Was not impressed with their up sell push. They said the piece i wanted wouldnt fit where I wanted it and it should be a back piece taking it from hundreds to thousands of dollars. Ive since spoken with other artists that said there is no problem with what I wanted, they just wanted more money. Wont recommend this place to anyone!

This place earns its 5* reputation. The woman at the front desk was professional and friendly. Theyre doing a great job with the complexities of COVID (make an appointment)!Paul did an excellent job with my piercings. He was high energy with a good bedside manner. He was quick and precise, which is exactly what you want in a piercer. I would highly recommend him for any piercing needs.

A little spendy and took twice as long as the 15 minutes we were told so a little painful after going over it 4x but, I love it!!! He did a really good job on both myself and my sweet sister friend! It didnt itch very much and healed beautifully. Never had any scabs or anything. Thank you so much!

I had an appointment with Zack to get my Medusa pierced, and I’ll never go to anyone else! He killed it, listened to exactly what I wanted and took my septum piercing into account. I’ll never go to anyone else.I also had an appointment with Pablo to finish one of my tattoos I got done a year ago from someone else. He was super nice, affordable, and it’s EXACTLY what I wanted! He also fixed 2 of my other tattoos and I’m do happy with it all! Highly recommend!!

I have never been so excited to recommend a tattoo shop. Been coming to this place for over 2 years, 5 stars all around! On top of the cleanliness and the AMAZING talent within that room, my absolute favorite part is the shop vibe. Doug, Ty, Pablo, all the guys there are so friendly, welcoming and make you feel super at ease. Ive gotten work from Doug and Ty and couldnt be any more stoked on the outcome. So we walk in for a simple crown tattoo weve been wanting my wife and I theres employees sitting around in lab tops. So they call us in talk to this artist and the whole time hes talking us out of getting one! Everytime we made a suggestion he just kept shooting us down!! It was a very unwelcoming situation! Never go back there again!

Excellent tattoo shop!!! I live in Chicago and thought I had a great tattoo artist but Pablo at Mile High is absolutely fantastic! He is an incredible artist. I was in Denver for a family event and wanted a special tattoo and he came highly recommended and when I gave him my vision he created the perfect tattoo. The shop is in a great area, it is super clean and everyone in there was so nice. So raves from me on all accounts.

I got dermals done under my collar bone. One on each side. Paul did amazing with me. He was very thorough with every step. When it came to piercing he was fast. He did a great job. I am not disappointed one bit.I will definitely be returning for future piercings and top changes out.

I got a tattoo at Mile High a month or so ago and I can tell you it’s not worth it. The only good thing about this place is they can usually get you in pretty fast. However when I got my tattoo I was at first very pleased with it, when I let it heal though I realized that some of the lines were crooked, not connected and just overall messy, and the color didn’t take well to my skin, it looks spotty like it wasn’t colored in correctly. No big deal I’ll just get it touched up right? Well I messaged Charlie on Instagram to set up an appointment, he took a long time to reply, And I understand people are busy but I’m talking 20 hours later not just a few hours later. It took him the day before to confirm I had an appointment (we discussed it a week in advance and he told me to remind him a couple days before so he could add me to the schedule, and I did). I went in today and he seemed confused and asked me what I needed done and then fixed 2 lines and told me he couldn’t fix the color because it wasn’t part of the touch up deal. Which wouldn’t of been a problem if he just told me before hand when I told him what I wanted fixed, when I told him I wanted to fix the color he could have said then that it wasn’t part of it and not wasted both my time and his time. I just felt he was very rude and dismissive and not completely aware of what was going on. I was there for 10 minutes to get 2 small lines fixed. I will not be going back and will now have to find someone else to fix my tattoo.

Ive now been here twice. Once for a tattoo with Pablo and once for a tattoo with Charlie. Both artists were SUPER friendly and knowledgeable. They were also professional which can be hard to come by sometimes. Pablo did an amazing job on my Jason Voorhees tattoo and Charlie did some really sick traditional tattoos for me. I HIGHLY recommend both of them and the shop in general.

I got my first tattoo from Pablo. He was very clean and professional and considerate that it was my first tattoo. He did a GREAT job!! I’m extremely happy with the way it came out. I gave him a reference photo, and he took that and made it better than I imagined. I would 100% recommend coming here.

My daughter got her cartilage pierced here. They were super fast and friendly. I thought the cleaning process could have been explained to her a little better. But she was fine with it. Her piercing looks great and is healing nice!

Matt has done several of my tattoos Amazing work!!! The attention to detail is remarkable. Charlie also did one of my tattoos and the color is fantastic! These guys do great quality work. The atmosphere is fun. I would highly recommend these guys for a high quality tattoo!

Went here to get my septum pierced and was absolutely blown away by the service! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Its a comfortable, well-lit environment and the piercer, Jeff, did a spectacular job! He was very professional, talked me through the process before he pierced me, and had a very gentle hand. Overall super pleased with the experience and would recommend this place to anyone!!

I got my nipples periced today with Sara and she did just a great job! It was a really comfortable enviornment and she was really thorough about explaining care/ centering the peircing. The girl at the desk was also super chill and sweet.

I went almost a year ago now to get my navel pierced. The piercing was kind of crooked and FELL OUT about a month after I got it! I went in the next day to see if I could get another put in and they said that it was too healed so I needed to wait SIX MONTHS to get it re-pierced. I made my appointment yesterday (keep in mind I’m 17) so I called to make sure that I didn’t need my dad’s approval for the piercing again and the girl said it was fine since they already had me on record for the navel piercing so I didn’t need to bring him to get the SAME piercing. I went in today at my appointment time and they turned me down because my father wasn’t there to sign for me. They told me that because they don’t know that he’s okay with me getting it done this time I couldn’t get the piercing. EVEN THOUGH I CALLED TO MAKE SURE THAT IT WAS OKAY FOR ME TO COME ALONE! Long story short I WILL NOT be bringing my business back to this location. It’s not worth it. I’d rather drive a further distance to not get my time completely WAISTED.

This was, by far, the best experience Ive ever had at a tattoo/piercing shop. From when I called to inquire about the piecing to when I walked out of the door, their professionalism and kindness exceeded my expectations. Jeff was extremely knowledgeable, well-trained and took pride in his craft. I would recommend him to anyone! If I ever want another piercing or a tattoo, this is the first place I will turn to. I brought my oldest daughter to Mile High Tattoo for her 15th birthday to get a daith piercing. Zack took his time and made sure her piercing was done properly. My daughter was obviously nervous and he was excellent about keeping her calm and comfortable. I was very impressed. Her piercing is healing beautifully and it looks great.

I got my nose pierced in September of 2017, the guys were super nice when i got there. I was extremely nervous. Once i got onto the table i was relaxed because i knew i was in good hands. The piercer did an excellent and professional job! I plan to go get a tattoo soon from them! I highly recommend!

Matt has been tattooing me for 4 years now. He always does a wonderful job makes me feel comfortable. He always does his best to be gentle and not go to deep into my skin. Never had a infection from any of the 9 tattoos I have gotten. Always does amazing artwork and has good prices. He makes sure that I’m doing good throughout the tattoo and ask if I need a break or need water. I will always go back to him and he will always be my tattoo artist as well as my moms artist

I came in on Friday night about an hour before closing to see about getting a few little tattoos. I was paired up with Charlie and he did such an incredible job while also making me feel so comfortable & like I’ve known him my whole life. Would definitely recommend this place. Ty was AMAZING. I booked my consultation with him and we hashed out some ideas, then when he revealed the design to me it blew my mind. The staff is very friendly and down to earth, the artists do very good work, and they are very accommodating as far as scheduling goes. The prices may be a tad high, especially for simple, not complex work, but its all good. Id definitely consider going back for my next tattoo here.

I’ve been going to Mile Hi Tattoo since I was 18. I’m now 36. Pablo has done two of my largest tattoos. I’ve told him what I had visioned and he has taken it to a whole other level. The experience from start to finish is absolutely amazing. Everyone one is friendly. The laughs tonight with Pablo, Charlie and Hannah made this night even better. I got my septum pierced with Natalie and I LOVE it. She had a calming energy and helped me get through it! She made it all seem like no big deal, which I really needed because I was slightly nervous.

The staff was amazing. I had my consultation with Charlie and he immediately pointed me to another artist in the shop named Matt G. who would have been a better fit for my tattoo. Matt did an amazing tattoo and after a year Im still happy with the design and the overall work done. The pricing was perfect for the amount of work put into the tattoo (and I will admit I kind of made Matt jump through a few hoops to get what I wanted, but he was still extremely nice and did an amazing job). I definitely recommend Mile High Tattoo to anyone looking for a great tattoo at a great price.

I went in for an industrial piercing and spoke with the staff. I was able to fill out paperwork while Paul, the piercer prepared everything. We talked for a few moments and before I knew it the piercing was done. He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. After that I had mentioned I was having trouble with another piercing and he looked at it and suggested a change in jewelry. He even changed it for me and there was no charge. I will be back! Just got a tattoo done here and Spencer was awesome! really enjoyed getting my tattoo and he was very respectful and a great artist also this was my first tattoo and he made sure I was doing good and all.. Also my boyfriend got his piece done here by Doug and it looks amazing. Many people say its pricey but I would rather pay a little more for a great tattoo that is PERMANENT! So spend the extra money and get a great piece!

Mile High Tattoo is an exceptional place to get your first or next piece done. I just got a tattoo there yesterday and worked with Van, who was very professional and made sure that I really enjoyed what she had drawn up. The level of experience there is awesome and just looking through the flipbooks I knew that this is where I wanted to go.The shop itself was busy the whole time I was there (which is a good sign) and very clean. The layout of everything was nice, little to no clutter of bodies around the counters. Professional employees and a job well done.

If youre looking to have your ears pierced, ask for Samantha (Sam)! Shes incredibly friendly, professional, extremely polite and courteous. Sam is very knowledge and made the whole process about as easy and painless as possible. Heads up though, she uses an actual needle and not the piercing gun so definitely be prepared for that. Three of us went to see her about a month ago (she did an industrial bar and two cartilage piercings) and everything went so well that I went back to see her for another set of lobe piercings yesterday. The business is very clean, tidy and very welcoming. I highly recommend Sam, shes one of the best and shell make sure youre able to get exactly what youre looking for.

I came in for a walk in apportionment right when they opened. After the initial rush from all the people with apportionment died down, Charlie came over and we got right to work with my tattoo idea. He was very helpful, knowing what I meant I wanted, and placement options. Definitely an experienced artist. He took his time on the outline and it healed perfectly. It was a great experience, good conversation, and the small banter amongst the artist was funny. (2 weeks healed)

I was in and out in about 10 minutes. Went there to get my septum pierced. The piercer was very polite. I feel like he could have involved me in the process more by explaining to me step by step what he was doing as he was doing it. That wouldve been nice. The piercing cost me $30 which in quite expensive. Plus I had to go out and get sea salt and antibacterial soap.The shop I went to in Colorado Springs had $10 piercings. Their idea was its better to have more $10 piercings come through the door than a few $20-$30 piercings.Overall it was okay. My piercing looks nice and is healing very well. I had minor pain getting it pierced. A bit of blood. No pain whatsoever in the healing process though unless I move the ring.

My girlfriend and I just got piercings here earlier today. Really quick, really friendly, really informative. This is my first piercing and the guy walked was really fast and talkative and helpful. Place was immaculate. I wish I knew the names of the guy working the counter and the piercer to let the place know how I appreciated them. Ive been to bad tattoo shops and walked out, but Ill gladly go to Mile High for my next tattoo.

Paul pierced my daughters ears today. In total she got 4 new holes. He was great. He explained his every move and was quick and efficient. This is our second time using this place and I think Ill get a new tattoo soon

I have always had my piercings done by mile high tattoo but its been a few years, so I came back recently to get a dermal piercing and my experience was great once agian. Paul was friendly and gentle,it was almost painless and the shops is clean. Its nice to be able to count on a shop after so many years.

COVID had put a strain on things and when you need something specific such as a piece of jewelry. One of my piercings had fallen out and I needed a certain type of jewelry, and it’s not easily available during COVID. Natalie was AMAZING in helping me and didn’t want me going to a cheap store to get this piece. She was so friendly, conversational and understanding. I’ve had a few tattoos from this establishment and a couple piercings and I would highly recommend Mile High Tattoo and Piercing. Natalie is knowledgeable and such a sweetheart. The rest of the staff are wonderful as well.

I got my first helix piercing at this business. Everyone was welcoming and professional. The gentleman who pierced my ear, Paul (I believe), was very kind, efficient, and sanitary. I would most certainly return to this establishment should I ever be interested in getting another piercing.

I will NEVER return to Mile High Tattoo. They were so rude. I dont even know where to begin..... I took my piercing out it was that bad. I got my nose pierced. It took less than 5 min. They did not patiently go over the aftercare. He said it so fast that I literally couldnt understand him. I asked him to slow down and go over it again. He said it the same rate. I gave up. I asked another guy there. same thing. He said its all on this paper and gave it to me. I asked a question about what was on the paper. He said oh no dont do that and crossed it out. The guy who pierced me left before I did. Absolutely terrible. The piercing wasnt even right either. I originally went here because i had a good experience when I got my belly button pierced almost 14 years ago. I will never recommend anyone here, ever.

My wife and I went to get a small tattoo together of our anniversary date in roman numerals. It seemed a little pricey for such a small tattoo but I understood why being the cost of equipment and setup and everything so its not that bad for most places. Charlie was our artist and he did a fantastic job making sure we got exactly the kind of font and location we wanted for the now and for how it would hold up in the future as well. I was especially impressed by the way he had handled my wife with it being her first tattoo. He was very thoughtful towards her in ways other artists would not have been. Overall very happy with our experience.

This tattoo shop is hands down class act. There should be a line out the front door with people wanting to be tattooed by one of the artist that works there. My artist doing my work is Pablo who I must say is great. He is interested in your ideas of what you want done and respectfully shares his thoughts and ideas with you to come up with one of a kind tattoo. If youre not willing to pay for a quality tattoo then go somewhere else. Remember this guys are artist. I HIGHLY recommend this place .

Absolutely horrible experience. My two friends and I got nipple piercings here a week ago. Almost all of our bars are extremely too small for the size of our nipples. He didnt measure, so theres no room for swelling whatsoever. He didnt show us anything before marking us and telling us to lie down, so we had no idea ourselves that the bars would be too small. And on top of that, never told us the gauge of the piercing itself. I love this shop, and have been here for many tattoos. However this experience was disgusting. Im absolutely enraged that Ive recommended this place when this type of practice happens there. Now 2 out of the 3 of us are currently having to visit another shop to get what was done here fixed which should never happen. No longer recommending this shop for piercings.

I recently went in for work on my ribs. Charlie did incredible work. He’s the one to go to for American traditional. He’s a fast worker without risking quality by any means. The shop is welcoming and clean.

Got my first tattoo today at Mile High Tattoo. First off let me say that the shop is very clean and tidy from the front waiting area to the tattooing area. My work was done by Matt. He is an awesome artist and is very professional. He was very helpful as well as very clean and quick with his work. I was quoted an hour and half and he compelted the work flawlessly in about an hour and fifteen. I will definately be a returning customer and most certainly recommend to anyone looking for their first tattoo or their next work of art!

First of all the tattoo artist here are so talented and they know what they are doing.Its my second tattoo but first one here and for first tattoos I recommend here cause they tell you what to do for the after care in details. I will definitely will do more tattoos here. I love their work. The tattoo artist that did my tattoo is Doug Damjanovich and he included all the elements that I wanted in the tattoo and did an amazing job incorporating them and being creative at the same time. Went in with my daughter cause they said they do walk ins.The staff was very rude and actually walked away at one point cause he didnt think I knew what I was talking about.My daughter wanted to do a very simple tat and they told her she needed to make an apt consultation just to look at it.From experience the only time tattoo artists want u to make an apt for a consultation is when you are getting a extensive big piece. Called ahead about getting a american flag rose got there and they said Noone there does that type of tattoo use to go there and get what you wanted they had talent I had 5 tats there I wont be back she could of told me over the phone wasted my time and gas

Im definitely embarrassed because I had recommended this place to a friend. I was there with her when she was refused service and was basically talked down on because she brought her baby (which at the time did not have a babysitter). The guy there was just rude and if I were in her position I would definitely feel horrible especially the way that guy was talking down on her like she was the worst mom for bringing her baby to a tattoo shop. It was the first time she said that ever happened to her and usually the tattoo artist she goes too never refuses her because she has her baby at the shop. At the time her tattoo artist was booked so I recommended her trying somewhere new for the day because she was eager to get the tattoo. I definitely feel bad for recommending.

DO NOT TRUST NATALIE TO PIERCE YOU! Not only did she completely ignore my request of where I wanted my piercing which I was very clear about she then proceeded to LIE to my face about where it was! Complete shock and disbelief at the carelessness of her actions and the disregard of the consequences that she laid out for another individual. She then would not even speak with me on the phone! Its a shame management has such a person representing their establishment.

Looked through the portfolios to find beautiful clean work. The shop smelled sanitary and had a very professional and business vibe. The people there talk with respect even when a little irratated. The only reason that I have such a low ranking of this place is due to the pricing. Extremely high for people coming from places that theyre used to the same professional styles and results for half the price. Otherwise, if you have the money, this is a great small shop. But it just wasnt for me and my family.

I have 11 piercings and ive gotten every single one done at this place. The same guy has done all of them and has done a spectacular job. Hes very knowledgable and definitely talks to me and keeps my mind off of him sticking a needle in my ear lol. The atmosphere is great and all the people Ive talked to are funny and its an all around great place to go to.

The piercings aren’t good. i have had 3 reject because of the jewelry used, they don’t give long enough jewelry for swelling, especially lip piercings and they just don’t care about quality. they use externally threaded jewelry which leads to infections and they have no choice for titanium. worst place to get pierced.

I went in to Mile High Tattoo needing to get a cover up done and I was greeted right away, my suggestions were listened to and I picked out a artist that I liked and was immedietly set up a consultation the next day. Matt was awesome drew up an amazing lotus flower with lots of color! It honestly hands down is now my favorite tattoo! I loved the fact as well that they tattoo in the back behind closed doors so no one is inturrpted from people/customers walking in that you would typically find all the time at other shops. I definitely recommend anyone and everyone to come check this place out!

I came in for a walk in, and they did a really great job tattooing a handwritten phrase I brought in. The guy I had was super professional and detail oriented. The tattoo was reasonably priced and healed 100%. I would definitely recommend coming here.

Got snakebites here. The gentleman who pierced my lips was perfectly friendly and the piercings look even. I barely got any information on how to care for the piercings other than a very brief verbal instruction. i didn’t get to pick out the lebret that would be on my face. The guy at the counter was friendly until it was time to give us our change back, the cost was $60. We paid $100 in cash and had to wait over 15 minutes to get two twenty dollar bills in change. Upon the first time we asked where our change was the boy at the counter said briefly that it’ll be out shortly. Upon waiting past ten minutes for literally two easily denominated bills, the boy at the counter got huffy when we requested our money back more sternly.

I got two tattoos here and Pablo was great. Really clean shop and the staff were all friendly. Would definitely recommend and I plan on going back.

I sent Charlie an email about getting a tatoo. He responded that he could get me in the next day at 3. I replied with okay, I will see you tomorrow. When I showed up he said he never responded to me so I didnt have an appointment and I didnt give them a deposit, which was never mentioned in his email. He was very rude and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Let me just say, i never write reviews.... so the fact that Im taking the time to write this is HUGE. I went to the shop today to get my Dermals removed from the back of my neck. Before going in here, I had watched a few Youtube videos to see what i was getting myself into and I was pretty nervous considering the Horror videos I saw of people getting them removed.They were very friendly,nice and professional. They took me in the room, took a look at the area and had me lay on the table. He set a clamp on the stud, had me breath deep, and by the time i went to breath out, the piercing was out! It literally took him two seconds to pull the stud out and it was not painful at all.... it literally felt like a small quick pinch. I had both studs out of my neck and patched up in less than five minutes. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this place if you are wanting your dermals removed without pain and suffering. And it only cost me $20.00 for both! i gave him a $10.00 tip because he was kind and knew what he was doing.(thank god)hope this review helps others!

The wait was a little long but understandable. Pablo was awesome. Tattoo turned out beautiful. My only thing is I was told one price but the price I paid was higher. Glad I brought in extra money.

Im not from this area just house sitting, but I had been wanting to get my septum pierced for a few months, well it was my 21st birthday so we decided to research shops in the area, this one stuck out because all the reviews were 5 stars, we get to the shop and it was really busy for a tatt shop so that was a good sign, the receptionist (who was also the piercer) was very nice and greeted us as soon as we walked in the door, had me sign the usual paperwork, it was 20$ if paying in cash or 25$ if paying with card, which is really cheap for a septum! She said shed be right with me after she finished up another client. When it was my turn I explained to her about my last bad piercing experience and why I was so nervous, she assured me she would be fast and that Id only feel a tight pinch and it would make my eyes water. She disinfected her work area, pulled out a new needle, washed her hands, put on new gloves and was very professional and very clean! She instructed me to lie down because with a septum it loosens the blow She pinched inside my nose to find the sweet spot, told me to take a deep breath and boom it was done before I even opened my eyes, She even offered me sea salt @ no extra cost which I had never seen at other shops before. Very pleased with this establishment, Clean, professional & very welcoming Im going back to schedule a tattoo soon. :) It may look like a Chinese restaurant but I assure you they do quality work.

Came here to get my septum and nose pierced at different times and staff were incredibly nice. Didnt take long to get them done and got handed instructions on how to take care of it. Recommend.

First off, we had an appt. at 1pm and when we showed up the tattoo artist, Pablo, was at lunch until 1:45. Then, he surprised us with a completely different drawing then what we asked for. You could tell that he spent absolutely no time on the drawing we gave him and had already instagrammed what he drew himself. It was 3pm before he even started.Another artist continually interrupted our conversation with rude comments.I will NEVER go back to them and I feel bad for my sister who got swindled into a tattoo she didnt want and disrespected at the same time.

Ben is a miracle worker! I had a pretty tough cover up. Several other artist would not touch it! He was so kind and made me feel comfortable the entire time. Ben exceeded my expectations! I never thought I’d fall in love with the cover up!

The guy behind the counter didnt have many answers. He didnt know if anyone was available for a walk in cover up. Was told that Charlie would come talk to us, but after more than 20 minutes left because he didnt come talk to us before he started on another tattoo. RUDE! Thats ok, Ill take my business elsewhere. Apparently my money wasnt good enough.

My friend had her tongue pierced here by Paul. It was the most unprofessional piecing I have ever seen. He didnt have her rinse her mouth with any kind mouth wash to disinfect her piercing site and then he just pierced her tongue. He did not mark the site of the piercing and ask at all where she wanted her tongue piercing to be located. He pulled out her tongue out with the clamps and just put the needle right through. It was so far to the front of her tongue she hated it. We ended up getting in the car and she just took it out. At that time she noticed how close it was to the vein underneaths. Paid 30.00 for nothing. I dont understand why he didnt ask where she wanted this piecing. Who does that?? Very disappointed and her tongue is still very very sore. Wont be back.

The people here were so nice. It was very easy to book an appointment and the cost isnt too pricey. Piercings are done with surgical steel which is hypoallergenic and good for anyone with a metal allergy.

Fast service, very sanitary, and the whole shop has a great vibe! The piercer who changed my jewelry was super knowledgeable and nice (sadly, I forgot his name). I will be returning for future piercings!!

I have been here for piercing and ear stretching several times and have always been more than satisfied with the environment, experience, and professionalism. The results have always been excellent and I am very satisfied. I recommend it to everyone!

This is the WORST place I have ever been too..After 2 months, the belly piercing scabbed up, the skin fell off, and the ring fell out. I have taken care of three tattoos and eight piercings so I knew quite a bit about keeping up with them. The piercing was not infected nor did it reject- that would cause it to be very painful. I regret coming here and will continue going to my original place. I guess you get what you pay for. Not only did I go through the ring falling out but I have called twice trying to talk to someone- Left voice mails because they dont like to answer the phone, and NEVER got a call back! You call that Customer Service?

Look no further than my old friend Doug.. he might be some time out for an appointment… but that’s for a reason.. I knew I coulda’ had someone else do a piece I was looking for.. but I’m glad I waited… professional.. clean.. and most importantly… talent. Why go else where…?

My wife had a small tattoo done here with the expectation that they would provide touch-ups for life. Well, it turns out they only offer touch -ups within the first year. Plus the artist was just okay.

Used Matt G for an Egyptian tattoo that would require a ton of detail. I was ecstatic after seeing the end result and thought he pulled off the best looking tattoo I’ve ever seen. Phenomenal work!

Wish I could give no stars. Called one night before closing to get another face tat. Dude told me he’d be down if I came in the morning. Went in and the lady up front said “sorry we don’t do those unless you’re already covered” so I showed her my face tat I already had under my dreads, and then it turns to “we don’t have anyone here that will do face tats” everyone in there is a poser. Bunch of lames.

Friendly atmosphere the moment you walk in. All of the artists here are great at what they do and I am very happy with the tattoo that Ty did for me back in September. Will definitely recommend this place to my friends who are looking for a place to get a tattoo done.

Pablo to the rescue!I got a bad tattoo from Endless Ink in Denver. The tattoo was rushed and not detail was put into it at all. The artist didnt bother listening to what i was really trying to accomplish or wanted. Its partly my fault I guess. I should have stopped the artist or talked to the manger or something. The tattoo was so red and swollen at the time that it looked okay. Until it began to heel and peel. No one can so a full sleeve in 8 hours. It was just peppered throughout with the same shading throughout. No detail, no lines nothing. They did a full sleeve in less than 8 hours at a discounted rate. (Red flag) I wanted quality not quantity.I wasnt worried about price, I want an artist that would actually put some effort into it. I checked out several other shops in Denver, since I refused to go back to the guys that caused this damaged in the first place. After visiting 6 other shops around Denver, Mile High Tattoo seemed to have the most compassion, creativity and experience to fix my tattoo. They all had great suggestions and ideas to make it right. I was paired up to Pablo because of his awesome black and gray skills. They didnt just assign me to who ever was available like in most places. They actually pair you up to the artist that best suits your needs. Thats the way all tattoo shops should be. Mile High has an artist for every type of art work you can imagine. Their work is superb and its a no pressure relaxing atmosphere. Pablo is working his magic on my sleeve. Hes put in about 10 hours and we still need needs another 6 to complete my goals.He also guarantees his work for 90 days, in the event I need a touch up or two. At mile high they have a genuine care and concern for the clients. They share their work while in progress and upon completion with the other artists so they can review and critic each others work. I believe that helps make sure that every peice that Mile High produces is top notch. Just called to make an appointment and instead of taking care of me. They told me to go to there website and make my own appointment. All due to the fact they were to busy with the costumer that just walked in there doors. He stated well sense I have guest I will not make your appointment you need to go on line to make an appointment. Im so glad you can help them but not someone who needed an appointment. This is extremely rude and unprofessional. I could have waited on hold or he could have served me first sense I had made the call before the other people walked in.

Natalie was amazing! She pierced my tongue and it barely even hurt and barely any blood! She was kind and quick and answered all of my questions

I got a piercing here and I highly recommend-she was very fast and talked me through the entire thing. She made sure the whole process was very painless and I didn’t even feel nervous with her!!

This is BEST Tattoo Shop I have ever been to!!!! Matt did a cover up on my ring finger...he took myexs name & covered it with a skull...FREAKIN AWESOME work!!!! The outline, color, shading work & highlights around the eyes & mouth are ABSOLUTELY PREFECT....You cannot in anyway tell it is a cover up!!!!!Thank you Matt for replacing a bad memory with a BAD ASS Skull!!!!!!!

I recieved dermals about a month ago. As Im getting prepared i tell the artist where i would like them to be, lay on the bed and get ready for him to begin piercing. He tells me that skinny girls are hard to pierce because we dont have fat for the piercing to hold on to, not only did it take more then one time for him to get the dermal in, it took him a good 6 to 8 times punching holes is my back so one last good push to get it in. Moving to my right side i anticipate it to be worse then the first and it was. He tells me to take a deep breath in... and out, i did this again multiple times till the pain is horrible and he tells me he got it in. Something about this one had me feeling like it wasnt. He tells me that after a week itll look completely heal and lay flat with my body, but it has only rejected its self more and lost the gem to the piercing. I paid good money for these dermals and am not to satisfied with what i received. I hope your experience is/was better

Great customer service, easy to schedule a consult. $60 down for an appointment which is nice. Per hour rate is a little pricey, but the artists are fantastic.

I cam here to get a couple piercing a couple months ago, and i came again today to get my left ear pierce and i didnt born in the US and i gave them my birth certificate and all they said is i cannot take this because i cannot read it, and i showed them where it was the orignal and it says when i was born.

Atmosphere is amazing, love the artists, the piercers are very sweet, and the receptionists are always lovely to speak with. 10/10.
