Rachel is an asset. Ive been working with her for several years now, and I am SO pleased that she is here. Ive never felt more at ease and comfortable with a tattoo artist, and her work not only holds up incredibly well because she is technically skilled, her art style and willingness to work with her clients is almost unmatched. I feel like Im having coffee with a dear friend when I go to see her for work, and shes a real one through and through. I am lucky I found her, and plan to get as much work by her as I can

Rachel was recommended to me by a friend and I am so glad I went to her! I am currently working with Rachel on a bird-themed sleeve and our first tattoo session went super well. She is very gentle and focused on your comfort. This was my first full-color tatt and it was such an excellent experience!I also want to say how beautiful Rachel’s art style is. I am actually obsessed with my tatt and I get so many compliments on the art and design of it. Super glad I came here—thanks Rachel!

Ive always had the best experience with Rachel as a tattooist. She is extremely professional at all times. She always been a rare person whom I can trust to get ink, Ive never had anything but the best experience in her chair. She is open to all walks of the community, speaking from experience a friend of the lgbtq community. I got my second piece from Rachel , she does amazing ink. My partner and I were friends with her, so we thought. Suffice to say that no matter how good the art is, nothing is worth discrimination and disrespect. This artist is not trans friendly.

Came out from Oklahoma City for my birthday and wanted a new tattoo. Gave these guys a call and they got me in right away. They have a great clean shop and are following CDC guidelines for the Rona in a safe and friendly way. I don’t ever write reviews for places but these folk are good people. Very positive energy and they do amazing work. Beyond happy with my tattoo and my Artist Jason. Would Highly recommend for anyone looking for a really awesome shop with really awesome people. Would 100% drive back out there for another Tattoo!! Thank you guys for the warm hospitality and great conversation! 15/10 would recommend to everyone!

I came in as a walk-in. Dean was the only one in the shop but he decided to go ahead and do my tattoo because he had a cancellation. Im someone with a lot of tattoos and he provided me with the best tattoo that I have. Not only was the tattoo amazing but the experience was awesome as well. Hands down the very best tattooing interaction that Ive had in my life. I am beyond happy with the service that I received!

Dean is an amazing artist. My son has been wanting a tattoo for many years. I told him he was going to have to wait until he was 18. He wanted to start with his elbow. During the consilt with Dean, he advised against starting on the elbow, my son listened to him and respected his expertise, and in the end has ended up with a piece that he absolutely loves. Many who have seen what they created, are impressed with how much Dean was able to get done in a 3-hour time frame.

5 of us came in unexpectedly an hour before close,looking to get tattoos. They could of easily said no, but instead their response was lets do this. Thank you Aleeha and Dean!!!!Dean was great. He did a great flower and even filled in an old tattoo, which he brought back to life!Im not from Colorado, but I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to get a tattoo.

Was nervous looking for a new artist after moving here, Brad Anderson was recommended to me from a co-worker and he is amazing. I have met a lot of very professional tattoo artist, but he is very impressive. I am very happy with the work he has done for me and I highly look forward to seeing him again!

I’ve had work done at both shops with three different artists, all of which were very very good experiences and great work. Great customer service, Always super friendly.Most recently I had work done by Shirley, she’s got a personality that you can’t help but like her right away. The work she did was top knoch. Strange thing is I didn’t peal or flake at all with this tattoo. Probably time for some more work!

If my experience at the original Preying Mantis location was great, my experiences at the Kipling location have been phenomenal. The shop itself is super cool and well designed. Every tattoo I’ve gotten from Brad over the past 7 years has been exemplary, beautifully designed pieces of artwork I couldn’t be more proud to have on my body.Can’t imagine a better place to go make a life decision only slightly less permanent than children.

Dean is the best tatoo artist ever (in my opinion) I came here for a tattoo cover and he did amazing and free style my tattoo. Im very happy... will post pictures when all done!!

I cant believe I hadnt done a review yet. I love Shirley and Praying Mantis 2! Its a very clean place, they take walk ins, have 6 artists and competitive rates. Ill go here, even though its a bit of a drive, for the rest of my tattoo needs!

Went for the MAMCO fundraiser and these guys were awesome! They had snack out for us to munch while we waited, and even stayed late to get everyone at the fundraiser done! My tattoo is healing amazingly well and the shop itself was super cool! Thanks a ton guys for an awesome night.

Ive gotten 3 of my 4 tattoos at Preying Mantis. The first from Galen when he was at the Wadsworth location, one from Brian when he was at the Wadsworth location and one from Sherley at the Kipling location. All three are now at the Kipling location. I love Preying Mantis. I wish I had gotten all 4 of my tattoos there but I wont go anywhere else in Denver anymore. Everyone there makes it a comfortable environment and its super laid back. All of the artists there are amazing. I highly recommend Preying Mantis for your tattooing needs!

I was referred to this place from a friend and I am glad I went there. Galen is doing my tattoo and its awesome better than what I thought. Everybody in the shop is really professional and very nice. I would recommend this place to anybody if you want quality work done this is the place to go.

If you want someone eith whom you can trust to do your art work do not get a tattoo from this place this artist will take his opinion and force it upon you and disregard any and all of your opinion on what you want on your body I have had A cherry blossom tree done on my back that the colors do not correlate as well as the base of the tree was supposed to end at my hip and the tattoo artist decided to end it at thr bottom of my rib cage so therefore now I cannot have it fixed because the base of the tree is too big. The cherry blossoms looks like giant blurbs on my body nobody knows what it is I feel as though my body has been disgraced with the artwork this tattoo artist has put on my body thank you for nothing and for wasting my time and my money

Me back in and told them I wasnt satisfied and asked if there was anything they could do about it I was told I could only get 20 back of the 100 but she said she couldnt give it to me then she would have to send it in the mail Ive waited and waited and waited and NOTHING Ive messaged her to and have only been ignored Im going to have to get this tattoo covered especially since a couple days after getting the tattoo my skin had a bad reaction and I had little itchy bubbles allllll over my friends laugh at my tattoo whenever they see it I would not recommend this shop go somewhere better at least somewhere were they have integrity and will keep there word.

Rick, who is the one working on my back piece is a fricking hell of an artist, he will just sit there for hours and chip away. The cover up has just been an insane master piece to say the least.

Got some cover-up work done by Vena -AMAZING AMAZING she has a super light hand and her work is awesome..Will be back for some more work to be done in the Future
