I absolutely love traditional tattoos and after serving in the military and getting away from military towns it was very hard to find an artist and shop I would give my business to. A family friend had recommended Martin at Grand Blvd Tattoo and I’m glad he did. Absolutely amazing establishment. Martin’s communication and professionalism leading up to my appointment is second to none. He answered all my questions in a timely manner and at this point I knew I was in good hands. Appointment day, I show up, explain what I want and he worked with me making sure what I envisioned was what I got. The shop environment is very warm and welcoming, the staff there is friendly and Martin was as professional in person as he was via messaging. Very clean place, very by the books in terms of set up, sanitation and tattoo aftercare. I always respect artists who respect the craft and take pride in their work. This place is second to none and i absolutely have no problem going back for the rest of the work I get over my lifetime. If you’re shopping around for a tattoo shop/ artist stop your search here because the bar is very high here.

Seth was my artist he was wonderful he designed my tattoos just the way I wanted them he took his time and treated me with the up most respect when it came to professional manner I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice tattoo at a reasonable cost.

Wanted a good clean tattoo and I received that and more. Ben was my artist and he was very personable and creative with my ideas and gave me suggestions to build onto my preconceived styles. Quick, on point, and almost painless. Thanks for a great tattoo and experience. Will most definitely come back again. 💯

Ginny is by far one of the best female tattoo artists in Michigan, I gave her a simple idea and she made it her own, and the tattoo turned out better than I could have ever imagined! The shop itself is filled with other talented tattoo artists, friendly staff, and had a clean, sterile environment. Overall an amazing experience and I will for sure be back for another tattoo with Ginny!

Seth is amazing!!! I was a walk in and he was able to see me right away and worked very hard to make sure my tattoos were lined up perfect with my anatomy, which I appreciate him taking the time to do that so much. The tattoos turned out better than I could have imagined, very clean and bold lines. He also made me feel comfortable and relaxed as I was alone and I honestly forgot I was getting tattooed because he has a very gentle hand and is great at making conversation. The shop was laid back and clean. Thank you Seth for your hard work and making my tattoos beautiful!!!

Got tatted 2x there by Seth (10/10) and the apprentice Jasmine (10/10) one was pricey though but worth it

Made multiple appointments with Andrew for two tattoos that would easily cost over $1200. He did art work for us that we were thrilled about. We waited for months to get on his books, and then when we arrived for our appointment, he told us that he was sick and probably not feeling well enough to do our tattoos so he would have to reschedule. We were disappointed, but that was understandable so we made an appointment for five weeks later. That was the soonest he could get us back on his books after canceling last minute. He confirmed the day before, and then the morning of our rescheduled appointment he canceled again at the last minute, saying he just wasn’t feeling confident and didn’t want to do our tattoos. He said at that point we should find another artist- after we waited for him for over six months! I’m sure other people here are fantastic but I was shocked that somebody treated me so badly when I was nothing but patient. Whatever you do, don’t wait months to get on his books. If you can get in soon, I’m sure it will be great but if you have to wait, you may be wasting a lot of time to never get your tattoo done. Or pick anybody else at this shop.

Brian does amazing work. I haven’t personally been tattooed by any of the other artists working here but they all have solid catalogues from what I’ve seen. This shop is very clean and has a great atmosphere. I’ve never had an issue coming here.

Had a great, easy experience today with Ben. Super chill, very skilled. I walked in and said I wanted a pineapple on my hand. He drew one up, placed it perfectly and knocked it out. The whole thing took about an hour from the time I walked in to the time I walked out. Super fair pricing, too. Ill be back for more and I will highly recommend Ben at Grand Blvd Tattoo.

Where do I begin? Extremely friendly staff. Great attitude, and the atmosphere of the shop in general as a whole is great. Very clean shop; well kept and tidy. Ive had some really good conversations with my artist Brian Massey as well as with the other artists and employees, and Ive also had good lengths of times where itd just be quiet and the artist would bang out some great artwork. The entire experience from the first session to the last was great and I will continue to make this my go to tattoo shop. Give these people your money. It is worth it and you will not be dissapointed. 🤙

Love this shop! Kyle Pryce is an amazing artist. She did my first tattoo, I was super nervous, but after a few minutes Kyles sweet and calming demeanor made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. She was willing to work with me until I was happy with the botanical drawing and placement of the tattoo. I was so happy with it I immediately booked 2 more appointments with her!

Ben the artist was good, and he worked fast, virtually painless as my ink is small, what I dont like is the $100 minimum charge, it shouldnt cost that much just to touch up 3 words

I was tattooed by Martin. His work is pretty amazing. His style is Traditional American but, can knock out just about anything. Very quick, professional and priced fair. I would recommend anyone in the market for a tattoo to give his shop a look... you will NOT be disappointed.

I asked for a refund because all 3 of my tattoos were infected (the first picture was the most severe, the third picture wasn’t as bad, it was just a poorly done tattoo… Martin Kazan was my artist & should’ve been able to draw a perfect circle, not an egg. Scroll right to see how it should’ve looked). I contacted the studio & asked for a refund because I had to spend money at the Dr for antibiotics due to a skin infection (cellulitis) & will have to spend money fixing these once they’re healed. The studio is sending me condescending msgs, saying I didn’t take care of the tattoos & that I should’ve contacted them before a Dr about the infection. Last time I checked a tattoo studio can’t prescribe antibiotics! If they’d just given me my refund I would not have complained. They still haven’t sent me a copy of the “contract I signed.” I’ve had 8 tattoos done before these so I know how to take care of them. I’ve had much larger pieces as well & none have ever gotten infected. Plus even if I hadn’t gotten cellulitis, the quality on the radioactive symbol was very poor. The shop owner still hasn’t called me. I sent a complaint to the MI health dept.

Was a walk in and Riley did a great job with me and my sister’s art. We just got something small but he took his time to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. Very chill vibes.

There is a $50 deposit (also the shop minimum for tattoos) required to book an appointment, payable via Venmo or PayPal. The atmosphere is cool and friendly. My artist, Seth, was amazing! He was quick and precise. This piece means a lot to me and he made sure my lines were nice and clean. I was nervous about the pain level, given the position, but it was virtually pain free! Highly recommended to everyone!*****************************************************Second photo is basically 3 months later. Healed up nicely with zero fading! Cant wait to go backAnd I did! Seth did a cover up for me this time. Again, he was extremely gentle on a 2 1/2 hour job. Pleased with his work for a second time!

Best experience having a tattoo. Martin did a great job taking the time to design something that Id be happy with for the rest of my life. I am a nurse so it had to be really professional but also something that I could be proud of . Everyone in the shop makes you feel comfortable and the atmosphere isnt intimidating. Very clean shop, you can tell these talented artists take pride in their work and their space. Will definitely recommend to my friends and will be going back soon. Also, please excuse my goose bumps, it was a chilly fall day.

I drove 2 hours to get here and it was worth every second of the drive. First off the atmosphere is awesome and they have a lot of art all over the walls and even some sweet graffiti painted in the side of the building. Second, the art is amazing! Got a piece by Jay and he killed it plus the price was reasonable. Apparently it was his first day at the shop and I gotta say they’re lucky to have him! I’ll for sure be making a trip back!

Martin tattooed my side from my armpit to below my pelvis. It hurt, but the man knew what he was doing and knocked it out in two sessions. Well worth it! My most complimented tattoo. In addition to the quickness and quality I was able to tell Martin my idea and he was able to put what was in my head onto paper in one go. Won’t go to anyone else.

I’ve been getting tattooed by Martin for 2 years now. Absolutely love the shop. Very clean and very well put together. I will get all my tattoos done here until I’m just out of room. Highly recommend this place to anybody for a great experience and high quality work.

Ive been getting my art from Brian for over 10 years. Cannot say enough good things about him and his work. New shop is very clean and looks great! Love the area. Great group of guys working here. Try it. You wont regret it.

Brian does amazing work! I described what I wanted and sent sample pictures to show my cat and some wings I liked. He drew what I described including Woos fangs and mismatched nostrils lol. My husband got a custom designed heart with cross. I highly recommend Brian and Grand Blvd Tattoo Co.

The whole staff is extremely friendly and talented. Everything is done very well from the cleanliness to the attention to detail in the work. Martin does all my tattoos and I’ll contiue to go to him. It’s just a Phenomenal shop and I’ll continue to go here until I run out of room.

Had an appointment, showed up early and was taken back to get started. I see the design and ask the artist to change the design. This was a huge problem for the artist and made things difficult. The original design was to be put on the back of my neck so I suggested a small ankh or bee to replace the original design. I was told those ideas were not worth the artists time to tattoo and I wasted their time coming to the shop, told me I was whack for doing that. I apologized for the miscommunication on my end but also let the artist know I would not get anything tattooed that I didnt like. The artist did not budge on their position and I was told to reschedule. Walking out I felt like the artist placed all blame on me and made me feel bad for not getting something they wanted to tattoo even though I paid my deposit weeks in advance. Its hard to feel like they cared about the consultation at all when the artist continued to argue with me about something I wanted to get tattooed on my body.

Such a streamlined experience. It’s very easy. It’s a quick and clean process. I have gotten two tattoos from Martin so far. And both times I was blown away with how quickly he can set me up and put some ink down. Very professional dude.

1st this place is best layed out shop ive been too atmosphere is great relaxing everyone super friendly. Curt is the best and just super professional, kind and thorough his detail and attention too is supreme. I wouldnt let anyone else tattoo me in the world. Scheduling was super streamline super easy. One last thing to add his cover up skills are just above it all for years I have been really down and very unhappy with my sleeve had been to multiple shops multiple artist and no one had ever said it was possible to cover up the mess and CURT changed my world with i can cover that a make it a masterpiece and he is doing just that and it has helped me In so many ways its more than art , tattoo, coverup so again thanks to curt and this awesome shop

Inlove with the tattoo that I got over the weekend to match with my bestie of 12 years. Comfortable environment, great music, friendly people, and Highly impressed with the work that Ben did with our tattoos. Definitely see why they have 5 stars! Will be going back one day again for other tattoos.

Ive been getting my tattoos from Brian for over 5 years. He does amazing work - but more importantly hell tell me when an idea wont work well whereas most shops wont. I wouldnt think of getting drilled with ink by anyone else.
