I’ve been coming here for years! Each artist is amazing !!! I’ve been predominately getting my tattoos from Geez, however each of them are great!I got my spine tattoo done today and I was terrified, each artist and even one of the clients just kept me talking (or really listened to me talk lol) and made it so much smoother.Geez is so amazing! He was so patient with my schedule being changed 3 times and he just continued to work with me!! Made me feel welcomed and comfortable.If I could rate 10 stars I would. This whole company is amazing and the only place I’ll be getting any tattoos!

Very clean and the staff is friendly!Got a tattoo from Krash on January 5th, he was very excited when I told him I wanted a snorlax, and he immediately went to work on an idea!I have very sensitive skin so it took around 6 hrs so he didn’t overwork my skin, but it was well worth the pain!Krash is so incredibly talented and has a variety of styles he can do!It’s only been a week so it’s not fully healed yet but it’s doing well!

Ralph did such a great job with both me and my friends tattoos. Both him and everyone at the shop were very personable and had a great vibe. It was also very clean. Both pieces turned out exactly how we wanted and he free handed the designs. Most artists just use a stencil. He’s very talented and definitely recommend! 10/10

If I could leave 10 stars I would. Tay tattooed my husband and I. He got a carhartt tattoo with a lot of shading and I got A LOT of fine line work. When I tell you she WERKED IT OUT! The amount of detail and ATTENTION to detail is insane. And let me also tell you about her customer service!!! It’s incomparable! The vibe of her and of the shop is unmatched. Did I also mention that my tattoo was an original design of hers?! Truly an amazing experience.

First of all this shop is so nice! Its super clean and I love the style of it, you can tell they take pride in their company. I made an appointment with Romeo, he was super professional and did a really good job, Ill be back for sure. By the way the other artist are also just as good, I stalked Motown Instagram and all the artist before making my decision. They also have a few other locations so they must be doing something right. 10/10 recommend

I have never been here but i seen the news article about them doing toys for tattoos (getting children’s toys to donate and giving a tattoo for the price of the toy) and i think that’s such an amazing idea and they just sound all around caring for this!

I tried to patronize two different artists at this shop after my friend referred me to Romeo. The artist Dee refused to incorporate his artistry into a tattoo design I was looking to get because he couldn’t get past WHERE I wanted the tattoo. Romeo went ghost TWICE on Instagram. First time, he started responding and then stopped. I tagged him on his post a few days later to remind him. He went back to our messages and responded, only to do the exact same thing a second time. If you’re active on Instagram daily, you’re getting the DMs and just choosing not to respond to a potential client, obviously. I also called the shop and left a message for Romeo and I never heard back. I’m very professional and polite when doing any type of business transaction, so I can’t imagine why I had to go through all of that just to still not be able to book an appointment. I finally decided to stop BEGGING to give these people my money and moved on to two other artists in the city who have me booked and ready to get my tattoos.

On 3/13 at 5pm The short Caucasian man told me that they were too busy for a simple ear piercing and to go their other location on Morang to get serviced at the same price but when I went they wasn’t honoring 3/13 so basically he lied, but I went on 7 mile and Greenfield and got serviced for $10 each lobe. Go there.

Bunni Ink – women tattoo artist at Motown Tattoo Company (Morang). I would NOT recommend nor refer anyone to her as a client. She very unprofessional, has horrible (No) communication skills with clients /returning clients, and she has a very condescending attitude. For a women tattoo artist, I would expect for her to be more hygienic, immaculate, and way more organized than others. Especially, during this current pandemic that we all are currently facing. I asked for a clarification with appt. date, actual time, and the actual images that was being inputted on me for $350. She doesn’t response to direct messages, and when you travel 45 min after your deposited is sent she stated, “she doesn’t have time to go back and forth”. When you book an appt. 2 1/2 months in advance you expect some form of clarification due our current worlds changes and etc. In conclusion I would very strongly NOT refer my anyone to utilize her as an attrist, piercer, or what every else she doses at the Motown Tattoo Shop. J/S
