I love this place, I got a cover up by Swift and it is sooo beautiful and I cant even tell that I ever had a tattoo under it. I love the environment Swift makes u feel so comfortable. This will be my go to from now on because never had I experienced such an amazing tattoo experience as I did there. This place is bomb af! Not only were they super kind and courteous in the chat when I had a limited idea of what we actually wanted but they were even better in person! Sarah did our tattoos but Brittany and Swift were in shop and they made the whole experience great! A friendly, comfortable atmosphere is so important and Sarah paid incredible attention to detail and made our tattoos unique.After awful experiences with other shops in the area we are coming back to Dead Hamster for lots of future projects because they take the time to dedicate to you to make you feel welcome and ensure your ink is just right. ❤️

I have been going to house of pain for years to get piercings. Just gotta say that I definitely will now be going to dead hamster. The entire staff is very friendly and professional. Connected very well with the owner and could’ve talked even longer. They care about you and the work you want to get done. I will be recommending this shop to all the people I can because it’s so good. Sad that I’m moving but every time I come to El Paso I will be stopping by. Even recommended me shops in Hawaii for piercings and said to let him know so he can get in contact with them. I have never in my life left a review for any store but I had to for Dead Hamster Tattoo. I got my double septum and smiley.

Hands down the best tattoo shop i’ve ever been to! i went for a coverup on my arm, and knowing that because of the placement/type of the old tattoos i had, i partially expected the artist to tell me he couldn’t do much or tell me he wouldn’t be able to cover it up at all. but ryan, the store owner and the amazing artist who did my coverup, was impeccable. i’m sure initially he wasn’t sure how he wanted to cover up my tattoos but his artistry is beyond impressive and the tattoo looks extraordinarily better than i could ever imagine! i’m so glad i found this shop because ryan is an amazing artist! not only that, him and sarah give exceptional customer service which is very important to me. they are hands down some of the nicest people i’ve ever met in el paso (especially in customer service). if i could give a 10+ star rating on this shop, i would!definitely come to this shop for any tattoo wants/needs and they will 100% take care of you! i’m super grateful for ryan and sarah. i’m definitely going back for more tattoos!(side note: the store is also very clean and ryan and sarah were very professional!)

BEST SHOP IN EL PASO!! this is genuinely the most clean & welcoming shop i have ever been to. seriously, the vibes in this shop is phenomenal & incomparable to any other shop. i got some work done from Sarah & she was amazing! out of all the work i have on my body, her piece is what i’m most proud of! Very proffessional and friendly enviroment. His setup is very clean and strict. Ryan is very versatile on his art. Made him my primary tattoo artist and hes taken care of me for a few years now. He will not dissapoint and his prices are more than fair. Ro is also very good as well. Shes very detailed and consistent with her work.
