Decided to do a walk in appointment for something fun, the artist Gabby was incredible (all artists there were, i saw what they were working on) and the vibe is incredible. Love seeing so many strong and talented females working in and running a business!

I recently got a tattoo done here July 13th and the service was nice, clean place. When I first got serviced my tattoo looked very neat and professional. 2 days in, my tattoo started to peel and didn’t look filled in, in most areas of the tattoo. I waited a month to see the final result to see if it could just be in the early healing process. Towards the end of August, I reached out to them regarding fixing my tattoo because the outcome wasn’t what I intended to look like. The tattoo is very much faded like, not shaded in spots, and detail of the butterfly is all smudged as if the ink spreaded. I was able to stop in and discuss about it getting fixed and was told to continue my same treatment process and that it was no problem on getting it fixed. The day of my tattoo “touch up” appointment I was told that it would be $25 for a tattoo touch up. To me that was unexpected & not necessary for two reasons. One being, the artist did not fully shade in parts of the tattoo maybe because it wasn’t deep enough. The detail of isn’t even there anymore. Second being, the price of someone fixing there work was not communicated with me the first time I came in to speak to the head artist. I was referred here by 3 different people and 2 others and I went to the same person and all 3 of our tattoos turned out the same, not fully shaded in, and faded in certain areas. Meanwhile one of the three people that referred me, went to another artist there and their tattoo turned out perfect.

Over the last week Ive gotten 2 tattoos done by Gabby. Shes extremely professional as well as knowledgeable. The shop is a whole vibe. Its super clean & the decor is outstanding. From the moment I walked in to the time I departed everyone was amazing. Looking forward to my next tattoo!!!

My wifes tattoo turned out amazing! Chrissy was amazing, shes light handed and did a terrific job! Price was good! Would recommend her to friends for sure. Very modern tools! The interior was very clean and inviting.

Naelah has done all of my tattoos. I was extremely nervous with my first one. She was very calming and assuring! Now, Im on my 7th! (Which she warned me Id do after I swore Id never be back! )

I got my first tattoo here this week! It was an amazing experience. A few friends had psyched me out about pain and soreness. Krissy put my mind at ease and was QUICK. I believe I was there no more than 30 minutes including filling out paperwork and her closing remarks on care of the tattoo. Pain was minimal and she gave me her personal cell to call or text if I needed anything. It meant a lot to me to have another black woman do my first tattoo and she was a great choice! I love the work and have not experienced any issues the last few days of healing. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking to get work done and will return myself!

Came in for a piercing special to get my tragus pierced and ended up having to get it pierced twice because the threading on the jewelry came off. They didnt charge me for the piercing. However, a couple weeks later the piercing broke and I went to a shop closer to me only to find out I wasnt pierced correctly and the jewelry wasnt even in cartilage, it was just hanging on to my ear and I could even see the backing if I was looking straight forward in the mirror. I understand things happen, but it would have been nice to have what happened clearly explained to me instead of just not charging because you messed up. I would have had further complications with healing if Id left the piercing in my ear. Instead, the new shop suggested I let it heal and get it properly pierced if I want.

I love this place the atmosphere is a vibe customer service is A1 and the artist I can’t even describe you just have to go in for yourself to truly understand how dope everyone is. And I will be back soon for more. It’s clean and calm easy to find and the best shop I have ever been to I wouldn’t go anywhere else

I went for a belly button piercing and while I’m happy with my piercing, I was not told any aftercare related to my specific piercing, only a sheet of paper that didn’t have belly piercing on it. They also sold me aftercare soap that was not appropriate for my piercing and it got infected for a short time. UPDATE: I went to get my jewelry downsized at a different shop and the piercing specialist explained that the jewelry I was given was poor quality and was far too big. It would have never healed if I hadnt got it downsized. Everyones anatomy should also be considered when getting a belly piercing and this also was not done.

I Took my mother here to get her 1st tattoo. Krissy was very professional and patient and my mother’s tattoo came out beautiful. I highly recommend.

I have two decent sized tattoos from this shop one a dogwood tree on my scalp and a hiking back pack on my thigh. Both times I was here I got great work for good prices and enjoyed my time being tatted. Great place, great people, great atmosphere! I’ve also had piercings done here! 10/10 will get all my tattoos done here when I’m in Michigan

10/10 Jonny did an amazing job. He’s done two of my tattoos now and they’re both crisp and clean. The details are insane. Definitely would recommend Jonny to absolutely anyone. 💪🙏

I will NOT spend my money here, very cute inside I talked to a couple ladies for a few minutes, then they just left me alone and said if I needed anything they would be somewhere dont know, so not friendly enough for me to spend my money there,

I had the worst experience at this shop outside of the receptionist, she was very nice, but I would not recommend Quintin or Q to anyone. My wife and I booked him for a spine tattoo for me and a small cover up for her. We sent him a $150 deposit and made appointments for the both of us however once we got to the shop he never acknowledged that my wife even had an appointment and didn’t even introduce himself when he walked up and started talking to me. My wife told me we should have left but we had already given our deposit so I decided to stay. That was a huge mistake! He is not only rude and seems a bit evil but he is very very heavy handed and took creative license to the point I am waiting for my back to heal so that my tattoo can be fixed by another shop. Once I left the shop I contacted him respectfully and he started messaging me very odd things that were so off putting I decided to simply just let it go. If he messes your tattoo up he won’t apologize and he will somehow make it your fault. You can’t speak to him because he will go into a crazy rant which is a bit scary.

When I tell you I was extremely nervous. I sat in my car for 30 minutes debating if I wanted to get industrial piercing. When I arrive in the establishment I was overwhelmed with comfort the receptionist beautiful her smile just brought so much comfort to my anxiety. My piercer (Naelah) phenomenal human I love her. I believe this will be the only place I’ll be getting tattoos and piercings from moving forward no other place hands-down the best place to go to have any type of work done 100,000% recommend.

Received my nose piercing at Bloodline Dynasty. The receptionist made me feel comfortable coming in for service. Her phone etiquette was very nice and professional. I clearly saw the area and tools being sanitized before my service. My piercer seemed knowledgeable and experienced. I was very anxious about the pain involved, but before I knew it I was done! I love my nose piercing and look forward to going back for a tattoo.

Extremely professional. The shop is clean. I have had my nose pierced here and I am having my sleeve done here. The artist I selected for my work is Krissy the Butcher. Shes very nice and knowledgeable and instrumental in the placement of my art. The staff is friendly and courteous. Yes, I highly recommend you visit for yourself.

I love all my tattoos by Krissy, but Queen Nefertiti has to be my favorite piece ever by Krissy the butcher🔥 she illustrated just what I asked for and more I feel even more connected to my roots being a Egyptian descendant I cannot wait to show this piece off to my family ! Thank you again I loved the whole vibe of the shop it was beautiful, clean, great music and customer service I felt at home and definitely will be back !

I have to explain my 3 stars. I heard the artists here were dope. I was in Detroit for the weekend and had spoken with them, through email, what my sister and I wanted and when we would be there. Notified for this particular artist is was walk in only. I confirmed the date. However, when we showed up, said artist wasnt working. I was disappointed, however, I understand things come up. If I have the opportunity next time Im home I will go again so I can change my rating.

Went here a few times and I’ve spent over 1000 with a artist named quinten just to finish up a half that is still incomplete. He has a heavy hand and his work isn’t all that great I just wanted to finish what I started. When it came to a booking I had coming up he completely disregarded me as client. I don’t know if it was because I am a woman or what. Horrible customer service. Way over priced

Piercing experience was fine, the girl was nice and relaxed. However, they didnt explain the piercing process/healing procedures to us at all and they gave me the nose piercing in a much larger gage than Id have preferred if I had been told anything. We left thinking wed have to size up for hoops when in reality only a few people get hoops that big.

Very unprofessional, untimely, and inconsiderate. I originally inquired about a tattoo and was ASKED by the shop to come in for a consultation with Bree. I arrived at the scheduled time and was told by her assistant that Bree was not there. The assistant told me that I could consult with her instead, so I did that because I had driven 45 minutes to come to the shop. At the end I paid my deposit and scheduled a tattoo appointment with Bree for a month later. A month passes and I drive 45 minutes to the shop, only to be told that Bree was not working that day and the assistant didnt even schedule my appointment. I even called the shop earlier that day to ask a question and said I had an appointment with Bree, and no one told me she was not working that day. I basically took an hour and a half road trip twice for no reason. This shop has wasted my time, money, and gas twice. Dont let them waste yours.

CONT: Review of Alexis HortonMind you, the receptionist, MIR, was the one who offered to refund me TWICE and she made the statement that I could use the funds elsewhere within the shop, I believe to placate me from messing up my appointment for a second time. But when the time came to follow through on those placatory offers, I was told that the “shop didn’t work that way” and that “they didn’t have the authority” to use the down payment as requested. There would be no reason for me to think that if I wasn’t previously told so. I did not create that conversation out of thin air.So, given that I was previously offered a refund for the down payment, I asked if I could just do that to pay for my friends piercing and was met with the information now that “deposits aren’t really refundable or transferable”. Interesting, since that’s the exact opposite of information I was given by MIR, the receptionist. It turns out that those offers were “one time offers” due to the issues being on the tattoo artist, BOTH TIMES. Those words came out of Naelah’s mouth. So, essentially, if I had taken the previous offers for a refund, AT THE TIME THEY WERE OFFERED, they would’ve been granted. I was present to hear this, as well as the friend who got the piercing and my boyfriend who was in attendance.This confirms that they CAN give refunds, they just PICK and CHOOSE when to issue them, which informs me that they’re shady and unprofessional. They give out false information to customers when it suits them and retract those statements when questioned about it.In the end, after I was told I couldn’t get my deposit back nor use it to pay for other services, I was essentially forced to make a new appointment for a tattoo I no longer wanted from the establishment AND pay for my friend’s piercing. Instead of honoring their word, they chose to play me.I disputed the charge with my credit card company and they decided to respond saying they never said those things and didnt authorize the refund. I tried not to take it further, but the BBB call is next.

Awesome experience!!! Service A1 artists super talented. I would recommend bloodline to friends and family members. You will not be disappointed. All is the tatoo artist are great, you cant go wrong with whom ever does your work!!!

Super late with my review but I walked in with an idea and pic of what I wanted and was given a wonderful experience. I enjoyed the atmosphere and gentle touch. I am upset that I dont remember the womans name who tattooed me but I would definitely go back for another tattoo when I get the courage.

I’ve been getting tattoos for almost 10 years, and never have I enjoyed coming into a shop as much as I do Bloodline Dynasty. Since September, I’ve been having Krissy work on my sleeve and it came out better than I imagined. She’s patient , very detail oriented and super creative with the ink...and also works very efficiently. I have 1 more session as a final touch up and to say I’m excited to go in is an understatement.Not only that, but the rest of the team there is super fun and friendly to be around. They help to keep your mind at ease while getting work done.A+++++++++++

This shop is by far the best tattoo shop around. I’ve had about 40 hours of work done here and I could never go to another shop. Diverse group of artist that can fulfill any tattoo ideas you have. Everyone is super professional, friendly, and the vibes are dope. Only place I refer anyone to.

Majority of my tattoos were done at Bloodline Dynasty Tattoos By Krissy. The whole team at the shop is amazing and the atmosphere is wonderful. The team is very professional and knowledgeable. 5 star service all around.

Very unprofessional. Very rude. Very inefficient. “Bree” wasted my time twice. I scheduled an appointment and paid a $50 deposit on the 30th for the 18th of August at 6pm. I get there on the date and the girl is on “vacation” and no one has heard from her. She was up north I guess with no signal. But.. Wow okay so I just drove a half hour for you to not be here and no one calls me and tells me not to come and then the owner of the business “Krissy” tells me “stuff happens”. That’s what we’re saying as black business owners to our black customers? Life happens? Stuff happens? You’re an artist with a business? Why would you be so indifferent towards your customers? So I hear from the girl the next morning and she schedules with me at 4.. I go and we’re about to do the tattoo but she continuously drew it wrong and was not patient enough to redo the drawing until her customer that she just inconvenienced the day before was satisfied. I don’t understand why she couldn’t have drawn the picture that I sent her that morning? Yes there were different angles to the picture but the image was the same. She inconvenienced tf out of me TWICE and she didn’t give af. It’s hard to do business with black ppl cause a lot of us don’t have the proper training to do stuff the right way. I would never own a business and play my customers the way y’all played me. It’ll reflect in your business forsure.9

I came in to get a daith piercing, and i had a hunch that my piercer was unfamiliar/had never done this before, but i had never gotten anything other than an earlobe piercing before so i figured i’d leave it to the ‘professionals’. Now that my daith is healed, i was ready to purchase new jewelry and asked my piercer what size it was, purchased new jewelry and it would not fit. So, i went to a shop near me to have it inserted just assuming that it was in a hard to reach spot. NOPE! I was told my piercing was actually a completely different gauge. Better yet, my piercer apparently didn’t even place the piercing in the correct spot and did not pierce enough of my cartilage. wont be going back.

THIS PLACE IS FILLED WITH TALENT. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. My tattoo artist is Q. I would have to say one of the top guys in the tattoo game. He’s consistent and makes sure he explains everything beforehand. He’s not afraid to put his input into anything if he feels something might be off.GO HERE YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOiNTED.

Got my nosed pierced a few days ago. I ended up not totally satisfied with the placement and asked to get a double piercing, Naelah did them both times. I am so in love with how it looks and she was so quick. 😍

Absolutely LOVE Bloodline Dynasty!!! In 2013 I lost my father to cancer and I knew it was time to begin to tell my life story and I’ve been through so much in my life that I wanted to tell my life story through my ink and the art inspired. I began my tattoo journey in Los Angeles, then Nashville, Los Angeles again, and Austin. Through my travels I was dying for a Detroit artist being from Rochester, Michigan. I was finally referred to Krissy through my coworkers and it’s been history ever since!!! My right arm was not inked at all and on my right arm I wanted to tell the positive on my life and the left was for the trials I’ve endured and survived from. Krissy began with a White Tiger and she absolutely made a beautiful work of art which you guys can see on my social media platforms. This piece was the first of my positivity and it means everything to me and just being in the shop, vibing out, and talking I knew I was very blessed to get my ink there. Krissy and Ink Head are GREAT artists and are GREATER people. I returned back to get a badass Punisher Skull piece and again she nailed it!! I’m a business graduate and I’ve been in the entrepreneurial world with my own business and corporate world and these guys just flat out understand it!!! I moved to Austin, Texas in April of 2017 and I REFUSED to go anywhere else but Bloodline Dynasty!!! I waited to see her again during thanksgiving 2017 and I gave her my arm and said I trust you and she had a custom Buddha piece that is simply amazing and is my most complemented piece in my work and clients. A lot of them tell me it looks like it was painted on me. That’s the type of work Bloodline and the team pride themselves on!!! This is one of my favorite businesses in Detroit. The shop is awesome, the vibes are great, the music is perfect, and the conversations help you forget some of the pain!! If you’re in Detroit or Midwest or Across the country, there is no other place I would go to for ink besides Bloodline Dynasty. Pricing is great and the quality is phenomenal and I’m extremely hard on businesses. Thank You Team!!! If you’re there go get some work done or join them on various tours!!! I’ve gotten work done twice by Bree at Bloodline Dynasty. Incredible job she’s done. And the details?? Ohhh lawd *gmoney voice* The shop is clean and neat and those marble floors are bomb!! While getting worked on once, a client lost consciousness. Krissy, one of the owners, jumped right into action. Never panicked but instead calmly handled the situation w/professionalism and skill. That scenario stands out bec things could’ve took a left turn but Krissy went right into action and kept it right on track. I’m going back very soon! -e3

I have nipple rings and needed them changed because I had am MRI coming up in a couple of days. Anyway, I brought my own plastic nipple rings to exchange. She changed them, charged me $20.00 and left the room without so much as a goodbye or a nice serving you. All this to say....bad customer service and charged too much. Wont be going back.

Got my Medusa pierced here. The jewelry for it was extremely short, not something I’d ever think a professional would use on a new piercing. It was also pierced extremely crooked.

Found this shop a few years back as it went in near where I live. Quentin did a retouch for me, it was such a good job Ive gone back for three more pieces since then. Always friendly and accommodating.

I recently got a tattoo done by Quinten Harper of my grandmother that I asked him to transform into Nefertiti and he executed it flawlessly I love it and all my family and friends love it I cant wait to get some more work done at bloodline dynasty.
