Joe did a fantastic job on my tattoo. Exactly what I wanted and how I pictured, and made sure I was comfortable and happy with the design. The shop had a relaxed atmosphere and the tattoo healed great!

I went to Joe at cheap thrills for a tattoo and I had the absolute best experience.It had been almost a decade since my last tattoo and Im quite picky when it comes to artists.Joe provided an incredibly relaxed environment and masterful artistry.Im blown away and my expectations were FAR exceeded.Definitely going to be back there soon as Im healed up for another one!Great location.Great staff.Great tattoos!

Joe was amazing! He was very kind, professional, hygienic and very informative throughout the whole process. He worked with me, helped me find a tattoo that I wanted and was able to fit me in to his schedule with no issues. Hes very straightforward as well which I appreciate. He did an amazing job as well! He knows his stuff, and I highly recommend getting your work done here! I will be coming back :)

Joe drew a third grade doddle of what I wanted and complained six people didnt like his drawings this week after he noticed my dislike of his effort. Although we booked our appointments for 10 he thought they were for 12 so technically we were early but he was rushing, cold, distant and a had standoff attitude. Was super belligerent, rude and obnoxious throughout the entire process even slamming his door from the room he drew in while we waited. His employees were the opposite they were polite and respectful but I was becoming anxious from his callousness. My friend and I left our deposits and drove off. We both missed a full days work pay and were excited that day. Skip Joe and get tattooed by someone else. I have three tattoos by Joe but I think he should retire or stick to the front end.I knew something was off the minute I saw Joe and his demeanor. I will NEVER RECOMMEND CHEAP THRILLS!And for your information Joe The Third Eye does not belong to any specific culture, at all. It has been in use by various religions and cultures since the beginning of religion. It pops up in Egyptian religion, Incan religion, Indus Valley religion (an earlier prototype of Hinduism, Greek/Roman religion and found its way into modern religion today (from China, India, Pakistan, the Middle East) along with the occult, the Satanic and of course, into mythological/religious stories of cyclops, dragons, demons, angels, and on and on.Educate yourself before assuming whats cultural appropriation.P.S I did make sense of your word salad and understand what you were trying to say is spiritual symbolism should not stray from their similar spiritual tradition.

10/10 I absolutely loved my experience here. Everyone was incredibly friendly and Joe did an amazing job with my tattoo. I couldnt be happier! I will definitely be back again and soon for more tattoos! Thank you guys so much! Fantastic quality!!

Myself and 2 other friends got tattoos this past weekend with Joe. We called him the day before and he had an opening at 10am! We were so excited. He was extremely professional, funny, and knowledgable. My friend has a condition where she sometimes faints with things like this, and he was absolutely prepared and calm. He took care of my friend and did all of our tattoos. He’s quick, VERY fairly priced, and pleasant to be around. The shop inside (though the business is moving soon) was very clean and had awesome artwork and items displayed around the tattoo area.Highly recommend this shop!!!

I just came here and got my first tattoo. Joe was extremely professional and so kind. I have a condition which causes me to faint when I get nervous and he handled it so graciously. I highly recommend this shop. The inside is absolutely beautiful. Everything was clean and the whole vibe is something youll want to see!

Hands down one of the best shops Ive been in. Theyre clean and organized. Theyre professionals and have years of experience. Straight forward with you. They dont bullsit you. Pretty much tell you how it is. If your idea for a tattoo is kinda questionable, they will tell you straight out theyre opinion in a professional manner. Then give you advise and options that satisfy your wants. My wife and I got matching tattoos and they came out great! We originally wanted to get it on our hands and they explained the pros and cons of getting ink on your hands. We went over several different areas we could potentially go with and decided to get it on our chest. 100% satisfied with our choice of design and the location of it. Definitely recommend anyone to Cheap Thrills Tattoo. We WILL be going back for future ink. 5 STARS from us for sure!

I am new to town and was looking for a tattoo shop that would call me back. Joe not only answered the phone he fit me in last minute. The shop was clean and bright my American traditional tribute to my grandfather looks great and I would recommend joe and his shop to anyone.

I got an excellent cover-up tattoo by Brynn, the apprentice. She worked with me to come up with a design that made me happy. The atmosphere of the parlor was great, definitely one of my favorites. I have several tattoos from a couple different places, but I will probably come to Cheap Thrills from now on.

Awesome experience at cheap thrills! artist was Dakoda and he did an amazing job on my catfish tattoo, everyone there was kind and laid back. Definitely coming back!

Cheap Thrills is a great parlor with great artists and awesome prices. One of the biggest issues in this area when getting your tattoos done is dealing with pretentious artists with bad attitudes and a god complex, over priced shops, and generic atmosphere. Youll find none of that at Cheap Thrills and will be able to get the art you want for a price you can afford while having a good time relaxing with the crew. I love this place and after being to many shops in the valley i feel like Ive found my home. Stay away from Northampton and take the ten minute drive to Holyoke for an all around better experience, you wont regret it. They also have an excellent apprentice, i recommend giving her a shot!

I have been coming to Cheap Thrills Tattoo for a few months now and each time I walk into the shop, I feel welcome. I was nervous upon starting my first sleeve, but the staff always made sure the design they drew up for me was the design I wanted. Every tattoo I have received from them is exactly what Ive pictured and more. I will be getting all of my tattoos from Cheap Thrills from now on.

There is a reason i have been going to the same person for 10+ years when it comes to getting tattooed. Joe will give you everything you ask for and more, all at an affordable price. I highly recommend coming to Cheap Thrills Tattoo if you want a great experience and more importantly a tattoo that will look just as great years from now. Definitely a 5 out of 5 establishment.

Great shop in Holyoke. I liked everything about my visits there. Joe and Curtis are great artists. They answered all my questions and the shop just has a great vibe.They both did great work on me and I will definitely be retuning for more.

Cheap Thrills is one of the best shops around. It has a clean and welcoming atmosphere. The artists are extremely talented, genuine, and professional. It is true that after getting work done here you wont want to go anywhere else to get tattooed again.

Down to Earth guys who enjoy what they do, which they do well. Pleased as punch with the Sailor Jerry tattoo. Looks great, and he could have charged double the price. I felt welcomed the second I walked in the door and enjoyed conversations on many different topics.

Cheap thrills offers a super clean experience, a beautiful shop, owner operator joe cox,is an amazing artist, as is his in house artist curtis, and intern Brynn,joe has been at this for over 20 years,curtis 10, they offer to sit down and draw an image from your head, their prices can not even be compared to other shops, great deals,i make light switch plates, mostly punk rock ones, i raised $485 dollars to help people who cut, get their scars covered, and Joe did a fantastic job helping a young lady cover her scars for next to nothing,so if you are looking for a clean, inexpensive,tattoo experience,you owe it to yourself to come visit cheap thrills

Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone . Went in for a tattoo and the guy never showed up . No one called to let me know . Then was told to come back the next day for my deposit which they where closed . So unprofessional. Not to mention the guy at the counter went on with telling me how the people that use to work there got fired for stealing and all this other stuff . STAY AWAY !!!!
