Babylon Tattoo

We stopped in to see if we could get some tattoos Jess was very helpful from the start. We told her we had about 6 people trying to get them done from small to mid size. She didnt bat an eye, she helped us get info for one of my sons that needed paperwork. We set up the times for next day at 4. She was going to do all of them for us, but asked if we were ok if Gable did 2 of them to help out. Myself & son got done great work done by him. Specially since he took his time for my sons first tattoo. Even gave little care packages after we were done. Jess at this time did my daughter in-law, other son, an step daughters ( her first one as well ). They all loved the work Jess did for them as well. With that all being said would definitely go back here again when in town. Great experience from beginning to end. Thanks again Gable & Jess for this experience & memories. I know Jess was super excited of this tattoo (freaking monkey so figured share that pic again. An one I will get to remember of my son first tattoo with Gable.

Gable is awesome, his line work is impeccable. i’ve already gone back to him a couple times and i even brought my bf to get a tattoo too.

I went in for a walk in and I have nothing but good words. The artist (Jess) was phenomenal and made me feel well informed and welcomed as I hadn’t had a tattoo here before. And I would 100% recommend to anyone!! She was so nice and very clearly knew what she was doing and gave me the best advice. Everything was sterile and I felt so comfortable. Got a few small tattoos done by Ray. Very nice and helpful, was willing to redo the stencil and positioning until we got it exactly how I wanted it. Overall, very pleasant experience!

While I wasn’t necessarily disappointed, I wasn’t exactly happy either. It just wasn’t my vision.Cut to this past weekend - while in Ft. Lauderdale for the weekend, I happen to drive past Babylon on the way to my Airbnb. All I can say is that it must have been fate…I looked them up, read all the positive previews, and ultimately decided to stop in and see what (if anything) could be done to breath some life into my ailing wing.Just as I came in one of Jess’s clients had called to reschedule allowing her to take a look. As soon as started chatting I knew I was in good hands…literally! 4 hours later, just shy of midnight on a Saturday, my wing was a WING and I found my artist for LIFE!! I’m already planning on a trip back in November!!

Stopped in Cinco de Mayo weekend to get my nipples pierced and Jess is the best piercer I’ve ever come across! I’ve had them done before but I took them out a few years ago because they weren’t healing correctly and kept giving me problems. It’s been over a week and I haven’t had any discomfort and very minimal swelling. The shop was very clean and Jess was EXTREMELY sterile when handling everything. Not only is she a great piercer but she’s an amazing person. She talked me through the whole process as she was doing it and has the most calming voice. Which was huge for me because I was already nervous but she assured me it would be fine and was able to keep me calm. She also pierced them really quick so it was over in no time! If you’re in the Fort Lauderdale area and looking for a piercer I 10/10 recommend stopping in to see her!!

Came in today to get my smiley and tragus pierced and Jess was ABSOLUTELY amazing she talked me through the whole process as she was doing it and made sure i was comfortable which was great for me because i was already very nervous. The shop was clean and Jess was VERY sterile and clean when handling everything. She pierced it very quick and it ended up not hurting as bad as i thought it would. i will definitely be back to get more piercings and i would definitely recommend getting pierced by Jess if you’re in the fort lauderdale area you won’t regret it!

My second time here and Gable tattooed me both times. I love both of my pieces and will be coming back. The environment is nice and the people are chill. Gable was chill, funny, and knowledgeable. 10/10 !!

Absolutely amazing experience, Jessica made our entire night. Me and 5 other of my girlfriends came in on our night out about an hour and a half before closing and she was able to do everything we wanted. 2 girls got tattoos and 2 girls got piercings. My friends and I came to Florida for a Bachelorette trip and decided we wanted our nips pierced and found this shop still open at 11pm. We are so glad we came here, Jess is the best! She walked us through everything and showed us how everything was prepackaged and sterile. It was a very good experience and my pain level was only about a 4.If Im ever in the area Ill be back for more piercings! Its been about a week and my piercings are great, because I am following the care instructions Jess provided! 👌

Jess is the best artist i have ever been to! i have multiple tattoos from multiple different artists and shops and she walked me through every step. From showing me all the packaged needles, her license, and double checking i love the size and placement of the tattoo before she picked up the needle. she is a very kind person who i would recommend to a person going to get their 1st or 100th tattoo! 10/10 she will be the only person i will get tattoos from!

I got 4 helix piercings here (all on the left) from Jess for my birthday. It was very clear that both cleanliness and my safety were very important to her. She used fresh sterile tools and jewelery, and even put her gloves on in a sterile way. She did a great job explaining the process and what to expect to me, and ofcourse gave me a printout of the aftercare instructions. She also did a great job with the placement of my piercings, and was able to accommodate my pickyness. Im kind of a perfectionist about these things so I was worried.. but the result has been fantastic. They came out great, are healing well, and overall Im very satisfied. Ill be going back to do the other ear with her when this one finishes healing! Thank you Jess!

Went today with a friend to have numbing cream applied. Jess helped us, she is very professional and very honest which we loved. Yikes! I really thought I wrote a review already! This place is awesome. I went here for a touch up the first time to a few tattoos I already had. Novi did that, nice guy a little heavy handed but amazing work! I next went back in and have been working withGable on new pieces and some cover ups that I’ve attached here. AMAZING work and I can’t wait to book my next appointment. The shop itself is clean, super old school looking and a funny bathroom.

Babylon Tattoo, from the moment I entered, I knew would be 5 star, and the experience is a whole other level past 5 stars! I had called and an artist there named Jess had answered and helped me out changing dates for a walk-in. I was recently tattooed by Novi at Babylon Tattoo. Novi has been tattooing for like 20 years so not only was it ABSOLUTELY EXACTLY what I wanted, but he drew it free hand!!!! -so its an original!!!! Which was important to me!I could NOT be MORE HAPPY with my tattoo color, placement, artwork, or experience!I have friends who have tattooed with the other artists at Babylon and have had the SAME experience as I did.I have since made my next apt! I went there a month or so ago during the night to get a really small tattoo and my first nose piercing. Today i have had to go to another piercer to take it off and put a new jewelry which was CLEAN. the day i went i come to think of it yall had the jewelry out in the open no sterile nothing. And yall put that same jewelry in my nose. Ive had an infection for a month with a painful bump inside my nose. This is not what I payed for and i wish I could have my money back. Same goes with the tattoo it was so small and so simple but it looks rushed and not that great. I couldnt even decide the way I wanted my tattoo to look like bc the tattooer was just saying the design i wanted was the same as the one he found on GOOGLE. awful experience.

I came here to get my belly pierced. Jess did it. She was very nice and welcoming. Although I messaged her about the aftercare and she blew up on me when I told her I used coconut butter to prevent dryness… like she literally blew up on me lol… telling me I need to follow the rules and can’t just do what I want when it comes to piercings, can’t just think what I’m doing is best and have to listen. Like repeatedly being rude, then saying “have a great night or have a great day” lol like that makes up for it. Other than that, nice shop and funny bathroom!

These guys were having their Grand Opening. They were having $20 specials for specific tattoos and piercings. I got two! These guys are friendly and most of all SAFE.

Good to know that Jess’s reputation is more important than her clients happiness. I wasn’t going to say anything but I’m not a dog barking at me to get your point across is not necessary. I wasn’t able to get my tattoo because her attitude turned me off completely.

Today I came here with a messed up industrial piercing from another place, and Jess was super super nice and took it out for me and everything, and offered to repierce it for me when my holes heal up. She also did a really awesome cow tattoo on my ankle, and has done super good work on my friend before. Overall she was super awesome and professional and super kind to me the whole time.

Triple X jess is the artist that helped us out. Shes 12/10. She took me and my friends in for 5 tattoos 2 hours before close and treated us so professionally. Shes super kind and an amazing artist. Great service! I honestly wished I got the female piercer’s name cause she was very sweet and assisted me with changing out my medusa piercing jewelry that was short. Also threw in a free insert. My medusa is no longer irritated.

Awesome experience! Mel was great! She worked with me on the design of the two tattoos I was having done until I was completely satisfied with the final product. I never felt rushed and she never came across as frustrated even after changing the design and size of the tattoos multiple times.I have nine tattoos by seven different artists. I have ordered jewelry from and have been pierced by Carla, and she is absolutely splendid to work with. She is extremely patient and goes over everything with a fine tooth comb in order to make sure you get the best quality jewelry you pay for. Went in to find out about having a previous piercing redone. It had been closed up for about 6 years. Kelly was amazing with explaining everything and going over jewelry options and recommendations. Where to start? This place is amazing my daughter has been coming here for years and each time she comes home with a beautiful piece of artwork. Like most mothers I wish she did not have so many tattoos but if shes going to get them I am so happy shes getting them with Mel because she is a top notch artist. Everything that she has put on my daughter is absolutely incredible. She is so amazing Im coming to get a large piece put on my upper back and arm.

Had a spur of the moment tattoo trip to Babylon just two hours before they closed. Mel was such a sweetheart and an amazing artist with a great style of tattooing. Great portraits and realism, She changed everything to be exactly what i wanted and was very professional. Will def be going back to see her for some more great pieces. It was actually my daughters experience and she loved it. Carla did her nose ring and she couldnt me more please (still wondering if I left enough tips). I, myself was chatting up a storm with the in house tattoo artist Keith and if I would have had the time I would have definitely had let him work on me. All in all a great experience and friendly staff.

Mel is awesome! I have gotten three tattoos at their shop and they are always my pleasure. Very down-to-earth and reasonable prices. The artwork is always on point. If youre looking for a place to get a new tattoo, or your first, this is the place to go.

I have been going here for over 10 years. They have the best group of artists in town. Novi the owner is absolutely amazing! His artistic vision is extraordinary! I have personally seen Carla grow as an artist and she is incredible. She might give novi a run for his money now!!! Love you novi but she is amazing now! I would recommend them to anyone looking for the best work in town. Novi tattooed a half sleve on me with a lot of red in it and the tattoo hasnt faded over 8+ years. Best group of artists I know.

Ive never had such a good experience at a tattoo shop as I did at Babylon Tattoo. Most every tattoo artist Ive met has been kind of snobby, but everyone at Babylon was very down-to-earth, are excellent artists, and affordable. My husband and I walked in not really knowing for sure what we wanted or if they would be able to even do it in the short time we were visiting the area, but they helped us figure out what would be best for the areas we wanted tattooed.I got leapord print on my arm by Mel the night we walked in and my husband made an an appointment and came back the next day to get a throat piece by Novi. Both of them did excellent work and were very friendly, talkative and professional. One look at their portfolios and I knew we were in good hands. :) I was also surprised at how quickly they were able to complete such awesome work - my arm only took about an hour 1/2 and my husbands throat piece took about 2.5 - 3 hours.I hate that were going home so soon, but we will most definitely be making the trip back as soon as possible for more! I dont wanna go anywhere else. Thanks guys. :D

I went here to get a small tattoo, the artist really worked with me especially this being my first tattoo. I loved the guys work, he was really thorough, patient, and talked when he was able to. I got my Cartilage piercing Earring changed by Babylon Tattoo 3 days ago. Today I was in Urgent care because it was so infected it created a large pus bubble. They had to cut the earring out of my ear and cut the infected part (and my piercing) with a scalpel. So now my cartilage piercing which was only 7 months old is non-usable, but i’m also on antibiotics. It was perfectly fine before they changed it out. Still have the bill for urgent care to take care of! Very Upset.

My son wanted two tattoos as a HS Graduation Gift of which one was to be as a Father & Son tattoo. Living in California I wasnt familiar with any of the tattoo shops in Fort Lauderdale, FL so I Google searched some shops and determined that Babylon Tattoo was to be one of three chosen based on internet reviews, if they had a website or not and portfolios of the artists shown on their website. After further research, Babylon Tattoo won out and Joey did an AWESOME job inking me and my son. We were totally happy with the results as well as the price. Joey even stayed past closing time to accommodate us. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

The piercer carla was very unprofessional, she was 20 minutes late for the appointment and didn’t apologize or even introduce herself when she came in. after 5 min she asked if i was over 18 and said i needed a notarized form in order to get pierced. as the piercer, she should have went over all the requirements beforehand. it was a bad experience and i won’t be rescheduling :/

I personally dont like tattoos period. I went there and got a tattoo long story… I hate needles as well. Perhaps I do think it hurts to do a tattoo and I almost past out lol.I really enjoy the experience and I was very happy with the service, staff and my tattoo.I dont blame them for the pain and the panic I got in to it,lol. I hate needles, I hate the sound of machine and I dont like tattoos. what a great combination.I give them 5 stars they deserved it. they informed me guide me thru process, patient with me and help me when i was not feeling good. If i ever going to do again a tattoo definitely go there. Real reviews. My friend as well have a tattoo done great experience he said his didnt hurt as much, perhaps he survived, lol
