Came in with a handful of random ideas wanting my fingers and lip tattooed. Erick was incredible. He had tons of patience with my ideas and gave me flexible and reasonable options to work with once we decided placement. His demeanor was so calm and effortless and my entire appointment from start to finish was easy and enjoyable. The tattoos turned out even better than I had expected, and it felt as though he put a lot of care and effort into making sure they looked great. I left there wanting to think of more ideas to come back and get tattooed because it was that pleasant. Highly recommend Erick and the shop and look forward to my next appointment.

Nice little tattoo and piercing spot tucked away down a side street. Parking is tight and you might need to circle a little to find a spot. My artist Constantina was amazing. Her art is outstanding and makes fun conversation. I cant wait to book with her again. Im very impressed with her colorwork.

I walked in for my tattoo in December and I got a small script tattoo. Chris was my artist and he was kind and attentive. It was my first tattoo and as a young girl, I didn’t know what fair pricing was nor how to speak up for myself. I was grossly overcharged for an okay job. I write this review as a warning to anyone who is not knowledgeable in the world of tattoos and their pricing. Be careful. If you don’t have an idea of how much a tattoo is worth, consult other artists at other studios before choosing the place you go with. Don’t make the same mistake I did. I don’t regret my tattoo but I regret getting it at a place that takes advantage of people who are not knowledgeable about tattoos.

Place was super clean, all staff were friendly! Victor was personable and calming and professional! I am so happy with my piece to showcase my love of snorkel life

To begin with, I entered this shop with the intention of modifying a tattoo that I already had on my back. The staff was pleasant and scheduled an appointment for me, taking a $75 deposit, and assured me that the artwork would be ready in 2 days. However, it took them a total of 5 days to present me with their rendition of the design, which was the same day as my appointment. Although I attempted to cooperate with them, I was dissatisfied with how they outlined my tattoo, and I went to other tattoo shops seeking advice. They suggested a full cover-up instead. Consequently, I requested a refund of my deposit from True Love Tattoo since I no longer wanted to work with them. Their response was that I had 48 hours before my appointment to receive a refund, and that the artist needed to be compensated for the time spent creating the drawing. While this is understandable in most circumstances, what they produced was simply images that I had already provided to them. I would not recommend this shop unless you are looking for a cheap and basic tattoo. Even then, I would advise against it since there are better quality establishments available. I discovered Stefanos Tattoo Studio, which has highly skilled artists who are proficient in using procreate and will sit down with you to discuss the specifics of your design. They even offer free consultations and, in my experience, worked on my piece before requesting a deposit. I am leaving this review of True Love Tattoo because they appear to be in need of money. While $75 may not seem like much, I politely requested a refund, and they took until the day of my appointment to show me their work. I feel that little effort was put into the piece, and I urge caution when considering this establishment.

Nothing but amazing!!! I went in to see Mondo and he created a beautiful piece beyond my expectations. I will definitely let him do my tattoos from here on out. He also has done a sleeve tattoo on my son. Great experience hands down.

Shop is great and everyone was super friendly and helpful. My tattoo is great that Kerven did however I will say it was done rough... in the sense of to deep... his attention to detail was appreciated... I think anyone with many tattoos could handle his roughness but may not be great for a first timer.

Alyssa who pierced my ear was extremely professional, made sure that my earring was properly lined up on my lobe compared to the last time I had gotten it pierced, and was very informative about aftercare. Had no issues with healing!

Two day adventure, but totally worth it!! My daughter wanted to get her navel pierced for her 17th birthday and we are so glad she found this place. Upon arrival we were greeted by a young lady behind the desk. She was extremely professional and friendly when explaining the requirements of a notary prior to getting my minor pierced. This was new to us, but hey different strokes for different folks. We drove around for about an hr looking for a location to do the notary with no luck. My daughter texted Alyson (piercer) to let her know we couldnt keep our appointment and would reschedule for the following day. The next day we located an Amscot (Pembroke Pines) to do the notary and drive back up to Fort Lauderdale. Upon arrival we presented the paperwork and final got to meet Alyson. She discussed the procedure from start to finish and answered all of our questions without frustration. She made my daughter and me feel comfortable and we knew we were in good hands. After showing my daughter some jewelry and explaining pricing she sanitized her station and was ready for us in about 10 minutes. Afterwards escorted us to her station where she again explained her process and got to work. Throughout the entire process she explained what step she was on; very informative- from marking to the actual jewelry going into place. After care was explained and she encouraged us to reach out if we had any concerns throughout the healing process.She is dedicated to her work and it shows!! Thank you Alyson (@alyson wxnderland)for taking care of my kiddo. We had a wonderful experience and will not go anywhere else as long as we are in FL.

I went in for a medical alert tattoo (also my first tattoo) and my artist Vic was extremely helpful and open to any input and super friendly, made me feel extremely comfortable. As a diabetic i cannot recommend this place enough because their cleanliness was way above par and just made the whole experience that much better. Can’t t thank them enough for the wonderful experience. Everyone was super nice and helpful. Thank you guys again and thankyou so mcuh Vic you are an extremely talented artist.

Awesome place to get a tat/piercing. Cleanliness is a must and they surpass the mark. Knowledgable and very personal artists. Alyson (piercer) and Amanda(tat artist) are freakin awesome and made all of my experiences with them amazing.

I was in town for a cruise and chose True Love Tattoo. This shop is INCREDIBLY clean and very comfortable. My artist Victor was amazing! His patience and calm demeanor is what I needed. I highly recommend him & this shop.

I scheduled an appointment with Constantina before coming in. The store is bright and clean and immediately welcoming. Constantina was amazing to work with and I would highly recommend her - I love my tattoo! Her watercolor work is really beautiful - I found her on Instagram prior to coming in, and booking with her was really simple and fast. She used quality inks and introduced me to using wound dressing in the first stage of healing which was life-changing and Im quite sad I healed 5 tattoos without it. Im definitely coming back in the future.

I loved my experience at this shop, everyone was super friendly. I got tattooed by Raciel, hes amazing, super attentive, gentle and polite. I saw his art on Instagram and decided to get tattooed with him even though Im more than an hour away from the shop and I can say it was the best decision ever. Ive already gone twice to get tattooed with him and Im planning on keep come for more. I would definitely recommend 💯

I have been to True Love Tattoo 3 times since October of 2020. Both locations are super clean and all the people there are very nice and welcoming. I have seen Ash (ink_hex) (at the 17th Street Location) two of those times. It was a pleasure meeting and chatting with Ash. Ash is an amazing artist and I cant wait to have Ash do more work for the sleeve that I am working on. If I was rich I would be getting tattooed everyday by Ash, but hopefully I will be seeing Ash soon!!! Thank you for making my experience always a great one!!!

My wife & I decided to go out for our traditional Friday the 13th tattoo & I found True Love. I stopped in a few days before & had a great conversation with the owner, Adam & his girlfriend. Super friendly professionals & totally down to earth. Mind you, this was the first time we had ever met & I felt like one of the group. Thats extremely important in any profession but especially tattooing because you have to connect with the shop & the artists. Nonetheless, we booked our time, paid & then came back today (Friday the 13th). They were busy but not crazy, yet, we were welcomed & tattooed in a very timely fashion. Although we just got small tattoos this time we had a wonderful experience. The shop is clean & bright. The owner was on point & he also was the one to tattoo us. His lines were solid, his coloring on point but above all his kander was impeccable. The shop minimum is reasonable but Im a big believer you get what you pay for. Being collectors of tattoos we plan to be back for more art and will be adding them to our go to collection of tattoo professionals. If youre looking for a solid shop with years of experience I say give True Love a shot & see if you gel well. May the force be with you.

What a rip off. My 63 yr old grandmother went to this shop was helped by Alyson. She was taken advantage of by this artist and charged 50 for a basic piece of nose jewelry. Way to do business true love! You call and ask for pricing and they tell you its their policy that they cant discuss prices over the phone. Thats because they want to rip you off! Ive gone to shops all over the country for tattoos and piercings. Not a single one of them would of have done this to my grandmother. I have a few reputable friends who own shops out there. They will be knowing how you do business!

My husband and I got tattoos with Jade. She did an amazing job taking the time to work with me and answer all my questions so I could get exactly what I wanted! She did an awesome job on my husband’s tattoo as well and took time to understand and sketch what he wanted. Patient and talented…recommend

I have been searching for a shop to get my first tattoo done for awhile. After talking to many artists, Tina was amazing! She was very skilled, very fast, and her attention to detail was perfect. True love tattoo was immaculate, even the morning after Friday the 13th. They treated me and my family with respect, and I will definitely be back.

Got my tattoo here this year as a walk-in and loved how friendly and easy it was to get an appointment. I had tattoo artist Mimi Resee, and she did an amazing job on my arm and was really kind about everything as she tattooed me.

I did a walk in for nose piercing at night & Alyssa was great!! And very KIND :) she was the one who took care of me & was very knowledgable about the aftercare & recommended me the best jewelry for my skin since it tends to reject a lot of jewelry/piercings & creates an irritation bump. She was 100% on the sterilization process and she walked me through all the steps. The piercing part didnt even hurt. I would drive back again to Ft.Lauderdale @True love tattoo to see Alyssa if i ever want to get more piercings or for a jewelry swap. Ive gotten my nose pierced so many times by other piercers in the past & she was the best one yet & one of a kind. THANK YOU ALYSSA

Alyson is the best! She did my initial piercing for me and when my piercing was healed I went back to her to switch out the jewelry. She listens to what you want and is very personable. True Love is phenomenal! I’ve received two piercings and my first tattoo from them. Everyone in the shop is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I went in and saw Mondo. He is absolutely amazing! I have been going to him for about 10 years. He never disappoints me, and everything he does turns out better than I expect. I moved away and got a tattoo done by someone else and just hated it. I’m here on vacation and reached out to him and he got me in and fixed what the other guy did and made it what I wanted. I have never been disappointed and I have complete faith that I would love anything he put on me. I have referred several people to him, and they have always been very happy with his work as well. I first went to this shop when I couldn’t get my septum piercing back in. That day, I met Alyson who happily tapered it back in. Imagine my surprise when I learned that it was pierced in the wrong spot! I really needed my piercing removed so I went there as soon as they have opened and the experience was great, I was sure it was going to hurt a lot like the other times I have switched piercings out/removed them but the lady that took care of me did it very fast and gently! Definitely recommend

It was my first time coming here to get pierced, Alyson was super nice and understanding! I told Alyson of my small phobia of needles and she worked around it super well, told me everything that was happening as it was happening. I recently got both of my ears re-pierced for a rook-piercing, and the service here was excellent. Had the pleasure to have Khelsi work on my ears. She was very reassuring of the process, delicate, and extremely professional. Super clean, and attentive to not cause any discomfort. Very satisfied with the outcome. Recommended!

The customer service was great! I was attended to immediately and the environment was clean. Aside from that, the quality of my tattoo after about 2 weeks is almost completely faded. And I don’t think the quality is worth the price I paid. And as for aftercare, I kept it moisturized and didn’t scratch so I’m not sure why my results are as they are.

The entire experience was incredible, my brother and I called to see if they took walk ins and they got us in immediately. Mimi was a fantastic artist, totally accommodating and made sure I was comfortable the entire time, you definitely get more than your moneys worth so make sure you tip accordingly

Omg I love Alyson!! Not only is her work amazing but also her jewelry. She’s very organized, and shows you everything you need to know and see when it comes to her tools. I recently went into the shop to get my helix pierced, and was given the most pleasant piercing experience Ive ever had! From the moment I walked in, the girls there were such nice people and they honestly made the whole experience better. During the actual piercing experience, Alyson made sure to walk me through every step she was about to do and even showed me the expiration dates on everything she used which made me feel much more comfortable with the whole process. She also made sure to take the time to give in detail instruction on how to properly clean the piercing. I will definitely be going back for more piercings from there!

I was a walk in at their studio wanting to get my nose and belly button re pierced. I had a little wait of course because I was walkin but it was completely worth it! Alyson was my piercer and she is amazing! She’s extremely professional but so kind, I have been pierced before but I have never been given the service or had anyone be so informative as her. Got a helix piercing done by their piercer Alyssa and have never felt more comfortable and satisfied with a service. This piercing has now healed beautifully with no bumps or infections. I absolutely loved the professionalism of Alyson! She showed me the expiration dates of all the equipment she used making sure everything was to code. She helped me out with my previous piercings too! I have a wonky medusa and nose piercing and she switched my piercings out to a way more comfortable jewelry. She fixed one of my loopy nostril piercings and gave me perfectly matched set up so we can go ahead and do a chain link across my nose! I came here to get my nose pierced after knowing a friend of mine had success here. Alyson was my piercer and I was so thankful for her. She was super sweet and that calmed my nerves on getting a facial piercing. She was very helpful on picking out the jewelry and placement. She was truthful on what would look good and would work for my nose. She kept the conversation going to keep my mind off the idea of a needle going through my nose. Id definitely recommend coming to see Alyson for a piercing. I will be coming back to have her do any future piercings for me.

Ive gotten two tattoos done at True Love and both experiences were great. My first tattoo there was done by Nirvana and she did an amazing job on my tattoo, it was a great experience. My second tattoo from true love was done by Jade and she was also great. My family and I wanted to all get tattoos the same day and she worked with each of us to get us what we wanted. A piercing experience like no other! From the moment we walked in the girls were so welcoming. I got my tragus pierced by Alyson and she was AMAZING! Everything in the shop was incredibly clean. Alyson did a great job making sure the piercing process went smoothly, she even went to the extent of showing us expiration dates on everything she used on us to insure sanitation and safety. She walked me through the entire process all the way from putting on the clamp till the jewelry was perfectly secured effortlessly to where there was no pain. To wrap it all up at the end she sat us down to go over cleaning procedures and tips, made sure we had all our questions answered, and all done with a great attitude and welcoming energy. Will definitely be recommending to friends and coming back for more!

I got a nipple piercing here with Alyson and she was AMAZING! Made me feel so comfortable and helped me through the entire process. Came to the shop as a referral from a friend and was pleasantly surprised at how attentive and friendly the ladies there were to my needs. Everything amazingly sterile, clean and well kept, it made me much more confident on my decision to show as the minutes went by. I originally went to Alyson for a second love piercing which she blew out of the water, made sure everything was to my liking and specification and made me aware to any additional information I might not have known. This place definitely takes care of their clients. I went in for a nose piercing and Alyson did a great job making me feel comfortable! She talked through each step she took. Got my first tattoo there yesterday with Jade, was a great experience! After my consultation last week, she helped me book my appointment and allowed me to express myself fully in what I wanted in the design and she was sweet enough to allow me to ask questions about everything. She was really sweet and very easy to contact, she was very patient when it came to the detailing, lifework and overall design. Her art is truly unique and wonderful and Im in love with all of it! Jade is honestly an amazing and welcome human being and I would highly recommend booking with her. I cant wait to book with her again and watch her and her art grow and prosper! :)

This was the best piercing experience I have EVER had!! I went with a couple of friends to get piercings on my birthday and Alyson was our piercer and she was so professional and made me feel sooooo safe throughout the whole experience. We obviously went in separately to keep Covid regulations and when I was in there, all the things she was using were laid out, she would confirm the expiration day of everything with me, all the tools were sterilized, she was so funny, I was literally laughing so hard right after the piercing and the whole experience was amazing. I was not even nervous and she did the piercing so quickly and efficiently, I told her my concerns about the piercing and she told me all the ways to take care of it. After we all got piercings she took the time to come out and speak to all of us and tell us how to take care of the piercings we all got, gave us information sheets and had her information on the paper in case we ever needed to reach out directly to her. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience and I would 100% recommended you go get pierced by queen Alyson! She’s the best!!!!!!

I am speechless and amazed by the amazing work Mimi Resee did for us! Today me and my boyfriend wanted to go get tattoos before we headed back home from our vaca to Fort Lauderdale, so we decided to go to True Love Tattoo Studio on 17th street. Not only have I gone to True Love to be tattooed, I have also gone to be pierced many times. Specifically by Alyson! She has redone two of my cartilage piercings, gave me amazing advice on piercings I wanted AND pierced my nose for my birthday this past August. I will never go anywhere or to anyone else but Alyson in all honesty, not only did she make me feel safe and completely comfortable I also felt safe with all the pandemic protocols and going into the shop during this time. She legit has a baby touch, I didn’t even know my nose piercing was finished until she said “WOW it looks beautiful” and it does! You can truly tell Alyson loves and values her job but you can tell she does it for the outcome and happiness on her customers faces. If I could give not only the shop but Alyson more than a 5/5 I would, she is the sweetest soul I’ve ever met.

The staff in general is great. Great environment to get a tattoo or piercing. Everyone is very friendly and they accept debit or credit cards as well. The shop is doing a great job regarding cleanliness and maintaining safety during the pandemic. My artist Bing Bing has been phenomenal. Hes on point with appointments and makes sure that your tattoo is not only something you like, but something durable that wont fade away quick. I believe Ive gone 5 different times and every time is the same amazing experience.

My friend and I each made an appointment a week before our visit. 2 days before our scheduled time, I got a message saying that my artist couldnt do our 4:40 appointment because she had another one at 4:30 and that she wasnt sure why the system allowed it to go through. It truly wasnt a problem for me-I appreciated that she reached out . I asked if I would be able to just go with my friend at her time since we were both getting small tattoos. They were super accommodating with this which I so appreciated. Our scheduled time together was 5:40. When we arrived, we were told that our artist was finishing up with someone and would be about 20 more minutes....we sat there for 1 hour and 15 minutes before either of us got called up. Overall the people were super nice and the place was nice and clean but the service time was not great and prices seemed a bit high compared to other places that I have been. Tina did a great job and was super sweet and accommodating as well as the girl who was at the desk! We enjoyed talking with her!

Im updating my review because Ive know gone back 3 times to get pierced by the most amazing piercer Ive ever encountered and that is Alyson Wallin!! She is the perfect combination of sweet and professional - and she is wicked knowledgeable about piercings. By far the most talented and confident piercer Ive ever met and I cant stop referring her to all my friends. In fact, 2 of friends already got pierced by her and agreed she is incomparable. Came in her to get a new set of rings for my piercings. I was assisted by Alyson who is very friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, passionate, professional and super cool. Had a very enjoyable experience when we visited the studio. Showed up early and was able to do a walk-in appointment. Alyson was very friendly and helpful at the front desk and with piercings. I went in to True Love Tattoo for one of their Friday the 13 deals! What drew me to them was the fact that they offered the opportunity for people to come check their flash sheet before Friday and pay in advance!I went in on Wednesday, and Adam saw me staring at the flash sheet with incredible indecision and he very sweetly came over to have a conversation with me about the options. I made my decision, they let me know who my artist was: Constantina (as I had no preference at the time) and paid in advance.I even got to speak to Adam a bit more about a piece I’ve been wanting for years!The staff was so incredibly friendly and I knew I made the right choice in shop!On Friday, I was running late, so I called ahead and let them know. They were so professional and friendly on the phone even with their Friday the 13 promotion going on.When I got there, I was seen within 5 minutes.Tina is SUCH a sweetheart and had the lightest touch! It was one of the most enjoyable tattoos I’ve ever had (I’m not very good with needles 😂). I am SO SO SO HAPPY with my piece! She even added some shading that wasn’t really included on the flash sheet. I was in and out in maybe 20 minutes! I had my nostril pierced by Alyson (a queen) and it was the most pleasant piercing experience I’ve ever had! She made sure to walk me through the entire process and show me each tool she was using, including their expiration date, and she had very gentle hands! She also explained the aftercare process super well and didn’t rush through it like most piercers do. I’m definitely coming back!

Early March Alyson did my daith and it has healed very nicely. She is very experienced and worth every penny, super sweet and friendly the first time I went it was a bit hot inside and I almost passed out but she was quick on her feet to help me. Today I went in to get my septum done by her and she did a amazing job again I didnt feel the needle go through at all despite my scare tissue from surgery a few years ago. Plus she had a upgraded fan which helped me from over heating this time to keeping me from passing out! Most of my piercings have rejected before I found her and since I have met her I couldnt imagine going to anyone else for a piercing. And shout out to Amanda for her friendly service! I love you guys keep up the amazing work! I highly recommend making a appointment to keep from a waiting to anyone thats thinking of doing a walk in you never know if its going to be a busy day or not.

I had Khelsi as my piercer. I got my third lobes and 2nd helix when I walked in today. Was an amazing experience, made getting three piercings go by as quick and painless as possible. Both of the lady’s working are very compassionate and make you very comfortable and safe. Love you guys💕

I was in town on vacation with 3 friends and we wanted to get a tattoo on our last day before leaving. Called the shop and we were quoted $80 each for a small simple wave tattoo. We were told they had availability and took walk ins and to come in. This was on a Monday afternoon and the shop wasnt busy when we arrived we were the only customers. We gave them the designs we wanted, signed the waivers and waited in the lobby. After waiting for a bit, out of nowhere the receptionist told us the price would now be $125 each due to the location of the tattoo, which was on the lower leg right above the ankle. This location hadnt changed from when we originally asked for a quote or gave the design to the artist. One friend decided to change to her arm instead to the increased cost but when she went to pay the price was still $125. This is an over 50% increase due to location. I definitely feel we were taken advantage of due to the fact we were from out of town and they knew we had limited time at this point and had to leave on a plane in a couple hours since that was part of our conversation at the beginning to make sure we had enough time. On top of that we were encouraged to tip by cash or venmo after already being ripped off. These tattoos were tiny and took less than 5 mins each and were not worth $125 let alone a tip on top of that. Picture for reference.

I got my Ear Piercings with Alyson 3 months ago, She did amazing!Long story short needed new Posts(12/16) and Khelsi was such a great help. She cleaned everything thoroughly was so sweet and nice. She informed me that some peoples healing process for piercings are longer than others and how to properly clean it! Great place to get a tattoo and piercing! Alyson did my piercing which was a helix and was awesome!! She was quick and made sure it was exactly what I wanted. The studio was very clean and sanitary. Ash was the artist who did my tattoo and she was very quick and did the exact design I wanted. The tattoo turned out perfect. Only drawback to this place was the price, they are quite expensive for both piercings and tattoos but worth the money for great work!

Let me start by saying that Alyson is the sweetest ever. She explained each and everything she used she made sure I felt safe and secure she always wore her mask and was very clean and organized. I drove almost 2 hours just to get my septum pierced with Alyson and I will continue to drive those two hours just to get helped by her because it was totally worth it and my piercing came out just as I wanted to. Absolutely no pain and I usually have a very low pain tolerance for piercings and let me tell you no pain whatsoever! Alyson is the bomb.

Ash is AMAZING! At 48, I finally decided to get a large piece that took 2 1/2 hours. She understood my anxiety when I arrived at the shop and made me feel comfortable. She was patient, professional and kind. She’s an incredible artist. The atmosphere at the shop is welcoming. A few artists and the owner (Adam) came around and introduced themselves. Cant say enough good things about this place and the folks there! We made last minute tattoo appointments for our last day of vacation and are so thrilled with how they turned out. Id accidentally booked our appointments at two separate locations, but staff was super accommodating and helped work it out logistically (Amanda was particularly helpful with this). We both ended up with gorgeous line work tattoos (mine from Jade, his from Bing Bing) who are both phenomenal artists. Mandie was working the front counter while we were there and shes an absolute gem of a human and made us feel right at home. Pricing was clutch too, especially given the quality of the work we had done and the overall experience at the studio.

I “Truly Loved” my tattoo experience here at the shop. The entire staff is very professional and the shop is very clean. I have been both tattooed and pierced here and both healed GREAT! I had the pleasure of working with Luke Adams on multiple occasions. Looking forward to Round 3 when I’m back in town. I have been to many tattoo parlors in several different states and this place has a modern open concept with the option to close allowing for privacy. Their customer service is exceptional. The tattoo artist was amazing. But I got my nose pierced by a different girl and she didn’t tighten my nose piercing all the way and it fell out. They wouldn’t offer a refund at all. All they would do was re-pierce my nose for free.

Ive been to True Love Tattoo three times now and dealt with Alyson each time. The first was when she pierced my conch in March 2019, the second was when she helped me change out the jewelry in my conch and tragus piercings months later, and the third was for my septum piercing in January 2020. I went here last year while I was on vacation because I wanted to get a little beach tattoo. Raciel did my tattoo, and I showed him picture of what I wanted and where I wanted it. He convinced me to get it much bigger, and in a completely different spot. And I am so upset still a year later, and want to get it removed. I don’t even like the actual tattoo either, it looks like he messed up on the one part. I regret coming here and now I have to spend hundreds of dollars to get it removed. :(

She pierced my nose a few months back and I returned to have help with a cartilage piercing from another piercer. She is very honest and gives the best deals. I was a walk in for an Industrial Ear Piercing. Alison was really lovely and very patient, answering all of my questions as I was a little nervous. Came in on a whim and Alyson was able to take care of me. Had gotten pierced by one other person before for a few things so I was a little trepidatious when I first came in. Immediately, Alysons patience, energy, honesty, and welcoming demeanor made me feel at ease. Her knowledge, understanding and thoroughness in answering my questions too. She was very clean and showed me all sterilization details. The piercing work itself was amazing and fast. No pain at all. She explained the maintenance for healing very clearly and I followed it to a “T”. I usually take a bit of healing time but this go around was so seamless and I was good and healed fast! Alyson is stuck with me! My go to piercer and I recommend her to anyone I know.

I went first back in November to have my septum pierced. I’ve wanted this done for a long time and was very nervous about it, but Alyson is a doll and made the entire experience so comfortable. She shows you everything that she is going to use, including expiration dates so you can see all the equipment is sterile and new. She was also genuinely excited about doing it and may have been happier with the outcome than even I was, which is saying a lot. I went back a couple weeks ago for her to do my conch and stacks in my ears. She even honored her New Years week deals for me because I was sick that week and couldn’t make it in. Alyson is wonderful and cares about her clients more than money. To the person who left a 1 star review, there’s something wrong with you. If a talented and experienced piercer says that what you want is dangerous, maybe you should listen to them instead of being so immature.

This was my first time getting tattooed at true love, it was an amazing experience from start to finish. I found jade the artist I chose to do my tattoo on their Instagram, I called and made an appointment over the phone, the person who ran the front desk was lovely. Within an hour jade had text me and got more info on what I wanted so she could have it drawn by the time I got there. She drew exactly what I wanted, I am obsessed with it and I will be back to see her again! She’s amazing, get tattooed by her!

We were on vacation, so I was so happy they were able to get me in same day! I was very happy with how everyone was so nice and helpful at the shop! Especially Mandie at the front! and Tony my tattoo artist! He did an awesome job and Im very happy with it! Very clean shop! Recommend!

I have about 10-12 tattoos done by all different shops and artists. The True Love Tattoo staff are all so talented, chill, and professional. They have a large staff so they do every tattoo style which I find dope. Jade in particular did a walk in appointment and did a few words on me... cleanest line work for words I have seen in a very long time!!! So I went back and got a terrible tattoo covered up by her again. Ugh I cannot express how in love with the artwork I am, she covered it up PERFECTLY and I was her first client she had done one for. I am so so so happy with it and she is so comforting to be around. I’m done sounding like Billy Mays, seriously just go check them out if you’re thinking of a new tattoo!

Good afternoon everyone,I had the pleasure of meeting Ms.Alyson actually at my job at the time and she was super sweet and her aura was pure. I was covered in piercings and shes been nothing but informative and helpful since then. I sadly didnt have the chance to get pierced with her but now that most of my piercing have sadly fallen, i do plan on getting re-pierced with her when I get the opportunity. My left nipple piercing had gotten irritated, I thought it was infected but she politely clarified the situation and gave me good instruction on to care for it. I thought it was really kind because she didnt even do the piercing so she couldve just kept it pushing but she helped me. As soon as I have some extra cash, I would love to be a loyal client to her. I highly recommend her and her instagram page!**I also want to note that this is coming from a tattoo/piercing enthusiast who has a physical disability ( mild case of cerebral palsy) and its nearly impossible to find people in the industry who are compassionate and have the excellent customer service for someone like me to fit into this community. She is a gem, a rare treasure, and more people should attempt to have the same energy with the disabled community.

My 3 friends came in to the shop as walk ins. We were taken promptly by each a different artist. We got a matching tattoo and they all look different. The artist did not outline mine. She finished in about ten minutes and now that it is healing I can see it is not even filled in appropriately. For 120 dollars I am extremely disappointed and annoyed I will need my artist here to fix it. If I did not live in a different state I would be requesting someone to fix it or refund me. Do not reccomend.

I have gone to Alyson for two separate piercings now. She is so sweet and caring. She always explains what she is going to do before she does it, shows the expiration date on her equipment and makes the whole experience enjoyable. She answers any questions you have and also makes sure you know how to contact her in case of any questions after about your piercing. I also got a friday the 13th tattoo at True Love by Ink hex and it came out so well and healed up super quick. The people that work at TLT are so awesome and if you’re looking for a tattoo or piercing, this is the place to go.

Let me start off by saying, I am very particular about what goes on and into my body (piercings/tattoos). My first time piercing my septum, the piercer was not educated and I unfortunately suffered the consequence. That being said. I drove all the way to Ft. Lauderdale from Kendall because I’ve had so many people recommend Alyson.To say I could not be anymore more impressed, is an understatement. The girls and the front desk - I don’t remember their names ): - were so welcoming.Alyson, the piercer, was so kind and helpful. She is extremely knowledgeable in the industry and has professionally done this for years. This is actually the first time a piercer has taken the tools out in front of me, shown me expiration dates, and explained the process. Very sanitary.She talked me through it (I was scared because the first time I got my septum pierced elsewhere, I bled. A lot.) and before I knew it, I was done. Quick and easy. I really liked the fact that she explained how new piercings can settle, why certain piercings are heal differently than others. She educated me on things I didn’t even know!Alyson went over there aftercare & handed me a paper with specific instructions on how to take care of it. (The do’s and donts, when to size down, all that good stuff) I had also noticed she had the gauge and type of piercing listed on that same paper. I’ve never seen that before! That was something that really caught my eye because I always forget the size lol. So I loved that.This has been the best experience, and I can only thank Alyson for it! Thank you so much for the love and care toy give to not only your profession but your clients!!

The Rapunzel was done this past March & Cinderella was done March of last year ( both birthday gifts to myself ) I also have had work done by Erick before but when he was at a different shop ! Have been wanting a septum piercing for some time now. I’ve been staying in Kendall area so was looking for a shop closer to the area I was at. However, after going through this shop’s IG page, Yelp and Google for reviews, I decided I wanted to get my piercing done here and I’m so glad I did. I went on a Friday with my friend. Shop was empty and we were immediately assisted by Khelsi. She was incredible and answered my million questions (I was super nervous. I have tats but no piercings). Everything about my experience was amazing. Khelsi made me feel very comfortable. She walked me through every step. She showed me expiration dates for sterile equipment and she opened them in front of me. She washed her hands before she put her gloves on. Cleanliness would be what I worry about the most when it comes to getting a tattoo/piercing and I was at ease after I saw these people are clean. I’d definitely recommend this shop and would come back if I wanted more piercings or tattoos.

My wife and I walked in while in Lauderdale last week. We were greeted with a very nice young woman behind the counter. After explaining we both wanted to get small tattoos she introduced us to Eric “Bulldog”. From the second he walked up, we both knew he was gonna be our guy. Straight forward, funny, and made us feel like friends. He’s got some of the straightest lines I’ve ever seen and is a true artist. The shop was very clean and all the artists seemed like professionals. Will definitely be getting some more ink next time we are in town, and will only be going to True Love Tattoo. Thank you, guys!

My eighteen year old dog, Shedaisy, passed very recently and to honor her, my sister and I wanted to get daisy tattoos. True Love Tattoo was a great place for people to get their first tattoos! The staff is so friendly, and the artist who worked with us, Constantina, was so wonderful with talking through what we wanted and how we wanted it colored/shaded. Pricing was also very reasonable, and worth the professional work True Love’s artists are capable of.

I love this place! I went here about a month ago (Its April 2019 while I write this) and I had a great experience! I had tried a number of different shops and didnt feel welcome. I walked into Double Cross and I was not acknowledged or greeted at all and there was someone tattooing right at the front counter. Im pretty sure thats a bit of a health code violation. I went to Amani and the music was way too damn loud and dark, and there was just one artist and the door was locked... so the guy being tattooed had to get up and unlock it for me. At 7PM. I went to a couple others but before stepping in I found the neighborhoods not to be the best.About three seconds after I walked in I was greeted by the piercer and another tattoo artist. (I dont remember names, sorry!) And I let them know I wanted to get something tattooed. The piercer called an artist who came in about 5 minutes later. His name is Ray! Ray was great! He had a very relaxed, open, and patient attitude.I told him what I wanted, he drew it up, and I got it the next day. He had also let me know that he was willing to go through a few drawings until I was comfortable with what he drew to make sure I loved it. Its also great that the tattoo area is actually upstairs and separate from the rest of the customers and associates who work here so theres some privacy and some personal space.Ray is my new go to guy and True Love Tattoo is my new go to shop. i love this place. Ill be going back in June for a fathers day tattoo for my dad. I also met the owner the same night I went in and he was very nice. It was a great experience.

Alyson was EXTREMELY professional, made sure we knew everything about the piercings and the spots we were getting them, she showed expiration dates on the tools she was using to reassure us that everything she was using was sterile and new and up to date, she mentioned she has OCD which is why she literally put the piercings in perfect spots. She made us feel super comfortable and the place overall was one of the cleanest places i’ve ever been to. LOVE HER AND THE PLACE AND WE’RE COMIN BACK FOR SURE

The staff is terrific, super kind, and skilled. I got monarch butterflies for my first tattoo, and it came out so beautiful and detailed. I went to Constantina, who is Fabulous. I got my Medusa as well as my septum reopened by the lovely Alyson. She immediately greeted me and it was a very clean environment. One thing that Alyson does is shows you everything BEFORE she opens the packet and lets you know of expiration date(A very big but overlooked detail.) I went with my friend to get tattoos and it was one of the best tattoo experiences Ive had. Not only were the guys there funny but they were patient when the artwork needed to be drawn out. I came here to get some piercings and had them done by Alyson with the help of her apprentice. I am an indecisive person so I came in with an idea of one piercing but I left everything up to her to just draw and see what could look nice. They completely visioned an idea I would’ve never imagine in a million years and it was the best decision I made. I had three scars on my arm that for years I wanted to get covered up and I finally got them covered with the most fantastic marlin black and gray tattoo. Bulldog aka Eric, did an amazing job creating the marlin. clean lines, great color transition, perfect size proportions and most importantly my scars are gone. Took my girl into here cz she wanted second piercing. The piercing person quoted $450 🙄 which was also with the cheapest earing options.....Drove to claires and they did it with 14k gold for $75. Contrary to the tattoo piercers caution claires did it perfect, for alot cheaper and the infection thing she was warning us so much about didnt even happen.

Life saver! Alyson is my girl!! I went to Claire’s to get my second lobe piercing and after a year, it did not heal. I developed hypertrophic scarring on both piercings. I came to Alyson and she was so helpful, very informative and caring. She switched out my jewelry and gave me instructions to help me heal. My piercing healed in ONE MONTH! And the bumps are gone. After one year of infections and pain Alyson saved me!

First of all I hate needles but always wanted my nose pierced. Khelsei and staff are probably the best in the world because not only is she and the staff are so professional, they made me feel comfortable af ! I promise you won’t regret it, no swelling on my nose but everyone is different but mine hasn’t hurt or irritated me what so ever. My bf as well got his and perfect no swelling or pain. Everything sterile and new out the pack especially the gloves to pierce you! Literally a little pinch and swoop to put ur jewelry OF CHOICE!! Also all cleaned in front of u!!
