My experience here was wonderful. The front desk was warm and inviting and was very on top of checking in and getting me an appointment that worked for my wild schedule. I was actually taken back a couple minutes early. The rooms were clean and prepped with a blanket and a tray ready to go. I got a clear and brilliant original laser treatment with topical numbing cream. Christina and Megan did a wonderful job at explaining what the service was for and what my downtime would be (minimal). They also gave me a bag with take home care products and really detailed instructions on what to do the next few days. I was comfortable the entire time - I even used a machine that was blowing cold air to help with the heat. I can’t wait to see the results! I will be back for more facial services and another clear and brilliant. I also purchased a couple recovery products to help soothe my skin and heal faster. Also they have an app where you can earn rewards every time you go and I saved $50 just by signing up. Will be back! 10/5 stars! ⭐️🤩

I highly recommend this place! One of my friends told me about this place as I was wanting to start taking better care of my skin. The facials give incredible results, specifically the diamond glow and the crystal clear. The results really did last me 3 weeks. Ask for Ashley! She’s so knowledgeable and has been doing this for many many years. She’ll really help you feel more confident in your skin and give you extra tips on what your specific skin type needs. This has really TRANSFORMED my skin and helped me be more confident without wearing makeup.

Every time I go to Franklin Skin and Laser I have a very positive experience. The office is gorgeous and very calming, and the front desk staff always greets me right away and makes me feel welcomed. I have gotten laser hair removal there for years and have had great results (I never have to shave my legs anymore!). I recently got a diamond glow and my skin has never been better or this smooth. Definitely will be back for another one. Overall the staff is well trained and professional, but also very friendly. I have not had the chance to be treated by Dr. B but I always see him get each of his patients from the waiting room and personally greet them when he brings them back, which I have never seen another doctor do! Would strongly recommend coming here.

I have been a client for almost 10 years. Dr B and everyone in the office are so welcoming and reassuring. The consults focus on what would work for you, not what youve read about or seen in a commercial. Just be prepared to tell them what results you want and let them tell you how that can be achieved. You dont have to be concerned they will upsell. They will honestly recommend what you should do, then communicate clearly how long it will take, and how many treatments you will need. I highly recommend becoming a member. The Dermaplaning and Diamond Facial that is included in the Facial Membership is such a bargain at the membership price and the included discounts on treatments and products are significant. This monthly facial has helped my skin become truly amazing! I cannot recommend Franklin Skin and Laser enough.

I have been going to Franklin Skin and Laser for several years. I initially came to help reduce acne scarring and breakouts that I had from the pandemic. I have been super happy with their treatments and receive a ton of compliments on my skin now! Kelsey is an amazing esthetician and has been instrumental in getting my skin clear again!

I had a wonderful experience during my free consultation with Ashley yesterday. My free consultation was amazing, she was so knowledgeable, kind, and transparent. I was able to get all the information about what I need and more without being pressured into buying anything I do not need. She also provided a lot of valuable free advice about my skin. I am excited for my next visit and new relationship with Franklin Skin and Laser.

I wasted over $1000 (including a stupidly given tip I regret....they want you to tip when you pay for all of it in advance......now I know why!!) for the series of 3 recommended laser treatments for age spots. Here it is just a few weeks after all treatments were done, and they are all still there once the final healing took place....A couple of places are even worse than before. Followed all instructions perfectly and have worn hats and used THEIR products that I also wasted money on for absolutely nothing except the pain of the treatments themselves. Just was totally ripped off. I wont recommend this place for treatment of age spots to anyone. UPDATE: I just read this nonsense of a reply they have made. If they want to make things right, they should refund my money!! Laughable that they think I would come back for more of nothing. Dont be taken like I was! UPDATE #2: Texted them in response to their attempted phone contact requesting a refund for this and guess what?.......NOTHING. For your sake RUN from this procedure at this business.

I have known Dr Bengelsdorf and Mrs Bengelsdorf for 10 years now. This is always my first stop when I need aesthetic procedures. Dr B always takes the time with his patients and gives multiple treatment options. I find him and his staff to be competent and thorough. I visited today for a retreat for laser hair removal with Lauren. She took her time and explained everything she needed to do and did a great job. As a dental hygienist and esthetician. I am very particular. lol

I had a fantastic experience with Megan!! She explained each step and set realistic expectations for my treatment. She is extremely knowledgable, kind, and put me at ease!! I wish I give her more stars! Top notch service at a beautiful & clean med spa.

Went for a consult on tattoo removal today, overpriced. They said no numbing cream and Im used to a PA doing the removal. Tried to get me to buy 2 patches for the laser removal, not necessary. When I pushed back, she said only one patch was necessary. Felt like they cater to a crowed who doesnt know much about their treatments. Also, my tattoos are mostly gone already, but that was not taken into consideration. Felt like a money trap, know the treatments before you go so you dont get completely overpriced and under performed treatments. No this isnt my legal name, so dont say I wasnt there. 3 stars because its clean.

I only ever have a good experience at FSL. Each of the aestheticians are soooo knowledgeable and the facility is immaculate. I highly recommend FSL for anyone one of their many treatments.

As a guy, I’ve always been kind of embarrassed to have anything like this done. But I couldn’t recommend Franklin Skin & Laser more. They were kind and not only did they help me with my skin, they also helped me understand what was happening during the procedure so I was comfortable the entire time. 10/10

This place is nice, clean and friendly but expensive. I went to do laser treatment for dark spots removal $850 +$300 for facial pads that suppose to help reduce dark spots, my face after treatment see zero improvement but worse. Wasted of money

My experience with Franklin Skin and Laser has been nothing but positive! The front desk staff is friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and makes you feel welcome both in-person and over the phone. It is obvious that the staff is experienced, professional and held to very high standards.The providers are kind, patient, easy to talk to, and I feel very comfortable asking them questions. I never feel rushed or pressured into anything (no pushy sales-y vibes here!) and I always feel well-informed about treatments. I have yet to meet a provider (or treatment) here that I didn’t love and see great results from, and I have seen over 6 different providers for a variety of services. I saw Dr. Bengelsdorf to get a small skin tag removed and it was a super quick and painless process with great results that have truly improved my confidence.Franklin Skin and Laser is truly a one-stop shop for your laser and aesthetic treatment needs and I cannot recommend it enough!

I would not go back!!! Came in for a consult and reluctantly paid the $50 fee for the consult to be applied towards a procedure. After coming in I realized there was nothing that was affordable compared to other places in the Nashville area. Asked if I could use my $50 towards products and was told no! I found the atmosphere to be about appearance and $$ drivin. left there and felt like I was in a bougie TV show, “Real Housewives of Nashville “opposed to patient care🙄

I’ve been coming to this clinic more than 8yrs. Doing all my skin care and others mainly with Joli , she is the best and I love how she takes care of me. my skin looks amazing because of her. She always give me the best advice. Dr B is amazing with his touches and always he will let you what you need exactly. Overall amazing place and staff. I had the absolute best experience at FS&L. Dr. B and his team, including Carmen, Danielle, Vicky, Aimee and Ella are amazing!! This was my first experience at a cosmetic spa and Dr. B made this process so easy. He took his time with me by walking through a step by step skin care routine specifically created just for me. He confidently eased all of my anxiety and made me feel extremely comfortable with the procedure that was performed. This place has one of the best and cheapest services in probably the whole middle Tennessee. There deals and warranty also good if you ever want to go back touch up on spots that might have been missed. Also, they we will work with you to get your appointments set up. Great place.

Only great experiences here! Dr. Bengelsdorf is a minimalist. He really listens to concerns and offers multiple options to achieve your desired outcome. The ladies at the front desk are so kind and attentive as well! Very pleased. This will be the only place I ever go to for Botox/filler needs.

For over 8 years Dr. Bengelsdorf and his staff have given me excellent care at this luxurious medi spa. Their services are hands down the best I’ve ever received and I trust them more than anyone giving the services of Botox, Kybella, pelvic floor strengthening chair, weight management (peptide slim shot), coolsculpting, and facials in preparation for my upcoming wedding. This is my one stop shop for whole body wellness that only Dr. B and his staff can provide.

Franklin skin and laser has supported me in multiple aspects of my life. In terms of the dermatology side Dr. B is truly amazing. He is kind, considerate, and most importantly is the only doctor within the 4 year span that I’ve had an issue to address it and fix it. It was above my expectations. I had a bad micoblading that I really wanted to be done with and after 15 mins it looked two hundred percent better. I have one more visit to finish up. I am very pleased. The girls are amazing. They made me very comfortable with the procedure and explained it to a tee. And the pain really wasnt that bad.

I got acne extractions and v beam laser for erythema done by Carmen a couple months ago; now my skin looks amazing and free of any acne/hyperpigmentation! The staff is great and the environment is so welcoming.

Today was my first time at Franklin Skin & Laser to receive an injectable between my eyebrows. Carmen was wonderful and put me quickly at ease. She also explained in detail what she was going to do and afterwards answered my questions for future options.

I absolutely love this place! They are true professionals in each and every way. From the front desk to the procedure rooms you can be assured you are in good hands. All of the providers are thoroughly trained in the modalities before they are able to work on patients. The staff all work together very well, which creates such a welcoming environment. They will never push you into anything. Their approach is conservative in the best of ways. No duck lips here! You will have a very natural and beautiful result if you do fillers or botox (or anything else).I have had several Morpheus treatments on different areas at FSL, and their pain management is the BEST! I initially had this treatment done elsewhere, and it was almost intolerable. Not here! They make sure I am comfortable throughout the treatment. Morpheus has done wonders for my skin and I dont have to worry about pain during treatment, which is amazing! I actually look forward to it. They also really know what they are doing with the Morpheus machine. They will carefully evaluate the area being treated and truly customize it for your needs.I will NEVER go anywhere else! I feel like Im hanging out with friends (who happen to be helping me age gracefully).Thanks for being the best at what you do!

Best facial i have ever had and I usually get it done every 6months. Was recommended by a friend and am thrilled and will definitely switch to FS&L for ongoing treatments.Had laser hair removal , arms and legs, (first treatment ) and am very pleased with the this was done.Staff very friendly and knowledgeable.

Being asked to tip when paying before an appointment was really odd also since its a Drs place tipping request was extremely odd. Its an intimidating environment walking in. My husband didnt like the screens with the procedures advertised and I too found my tummy turning slightly. I went for tattoo removal and was very happy with the results and procedure however it is extremely intimidating and an unfriendly environment to walk into. Not sure how they can change that but thats my experience.

Friendly staff. Clean and welcoming environment. The way they schedule the laser treatments really helped me. I had very think hair and after about 2 years coming in once every 7 weeks (with some exceptions), I can say that my hair has either thinned out and become super blonde or it’s completely fine. Goodby ingrown hairs, goodby razors, goodby worry about finding time to shave. I had a great experience with the procedure and the staff at this location. Highly recommended if you are looking for highly competent, professional laser hair removal services.

As someone who has been to a few medical spas, I would say Franklin Skin and Laser has been my favorite. I’ve dealt with skin issues (texture, large pores, melasma, post inflammatory hyperpigmentation) for 20+ years. I’ve seen some improvements from treatments at other spas, but I haven’t seen these dramatic improvements like I’ve experienced at FSL. I initially booked a consult with Carmen who is very knowledgeable on the different lasers and peels offered but also appreciate her vast knowledge on how to treat different skin types. She recommend that I do a Clear + Brilliant treatment which I’ve done many times in the past. I’ve seen good results with this treatment on the surface, but I wanted something that can really target my deeper pigment. Carmen seemed confident that this was the best treatment for my skin concerns. So then I booked an appointment with Ashley. I have to say Ashley was AMAZING. She spent the entire 40 minutes going over multiple layers on my skin, she was so thorough and professional. It hasn’t been that long since my treatment and I can already see a difference in my skin. It goes to show that it’s not only the laser tx that gives you the results you’re looking for but also a highly skilled laser technician. Thank you so much. Highly recommend.

I’ve been going for laser hair removal treatments with Joule and highly recommend! She is professional, so friendly and very knowledgeable about the process from start to finish! This locally** owned nashville business goes above and beyond for their patients. The owners to the staff are extremely personable, informative, and detail oriented. Plus,Dr. Benglesdorf is a perfectionist** -and shout out to Carmen!Over the years, ive had laser hair removal, stitches, scar laser treatments, to the clear and brilliant laser treatment for acne scars/dark spots. I have always been happy with their bedside manner + most importantly the results.PLUS, I have very sensitive skin, so I always expect some sort of reaction. And if there was, the staff knew EXACTLY how to adapt my pre/post treatment making me feel very safe + less anxious.(I live in downtown Nashville and it is 100% worth the schlep all the way down to their office in cool springs)Upwards and Onwards!

This place is the gold standard for laser hair removal. They have great packaged deals that are 100% worth it! They also offer free touchups once you have completed the package if you still have some stubborn hair left. I completed a full 6 session treatment plan through a different provider in Nashville, and their treatment only thinned out my hair a little bit (if Im being positive). But Franklin Skin & Laser knocked out all the hair SO efficiently that I added more areas for them to treat. I havent had any follow-ups for about a year and can say with confidence that it is STILL gone. Worth every penny!!! And Marie was awesome :)

Im on my second service for laser tattoo removal and have used Franklin Skin & Laser for other services as well. The staff is generally on time and provides outstanding service. This session they may have been short handed as the wait time was a little longer, and the service was interrupted a couple of times during my treatment when someone had a question for my provider. This was atypical and I continue to highly recommend the team and their services.

Dr. B and his staff are super friendly and made me feel very comfortable. They went out of their way to fit me in for treatment right after my consult. I drove 2 hours to be seen here and would happily drive more! I highly recommend!

Laser: Face, neck, chest for sun damage. I am 62 and have had 2 treatments, the results have been amazing. It’s taken years off my face, neck and chest. Carmen was wonderful and I highly recommend her and the services.

Rip off. They tried to get me to drive 45 minutes to their office just for a quote. Then when I sent them everything they needed via email suddenly they could give a quote. They want thousands of dollars and 15+ sessions to remove a light colored small tattoo. They also added me to a marketing email subscription without my consent. Owner’s reply to this review might be a HIPPA violation. Disclosing patient information is a crime.

I have been quite pleased with my experience at Franklin Skin and Laser. The staff is always upbeat and helpful. Ive been a patient at this practice for a number of years, and Ive always been pleased with the expertise of the aestheticians, the professionalism of the whole staff, the cleanliness of the office, and the concern they show for patient satisfaction. Their communication is great too. I go there twice a month for skin care treatments i.e. Clear & Brilliant, Exilis, dermaplaning, and general facials. I highly recommend them. I went to Franklin Skin and Laser for laser removal of a veinous lake on my lip, which was quite large. Dr. Bengelsdorf did an amazing job with only one treatment! I got a microdermabrasion here to remedy some of the scarring acne has left me with. I am definitely going back to finish my treatment. Ive wasted so much money at other places and on products that really dont pack the punch they claim to. Ive even had microdermabrasions at other places (spas, etc.) and I have never gotten the results I got here. I think it really makes a difference to have an actual doctor on staff and in house. I know a lot of people who go here, but I felt like I was the only patient they have because they were so attentive to my custom skin care needs. I previously went to another place in Nashville and was very disenchanted by the spas high prices and sales pressure. Two days ago Dr. Bengelsdorf at Franklin Skin and Laser removed an infected cyst from my 13 year old daughters leg. He walked us through the options and carefully explained the pros and cons of each approach in a way that we both could understand them. We agreed on the best approach and then he began to prep. We walked out of his office, cyst free.Everyone working there supported us through every step. My daughter, who was understandably nervous, told me that the nurse, Deana, made sure that she was comfortable and helped calm her, while still assisting Dr. Bengelsdorf. My daughter also said that Dr. Bengelsdorf was very, calming, and very nice, and that he talked to her throughout the procedure, letting her know what was going to happen. In the meantime, the receptionist, Trina, and the manager, Sarah, both supported me while I waited.Then, the next morning, after my daughter had a chance to rest, we went back to the office. Dr. Bengelsdorf taught her how to pack and dress the wound. But more importantly, his words gave her the confidence she needed to care for it herself. Last night and this morning, she wasnt afraid, she knew what to do and she knew it wouldnt hurt. She was so proud of herself because she cleaned the area, changed the packing, and dressed it all... by herself.They explained everything, they were incredibly supportive, there were no unnecessary tests, and my daughter feels confident taking care of herself... an extraordinary experience. I am incredibly grateful. Oh... and by the way... they also ran on time!

Lazer was not painful thanks to numbing cream application which is allowed to work for an hour before the procedure. Kelsey is thorough, and aftercare cream is a must. Put aftercare cream on first then sunscreen on top.

I started going to Franklin Skin and Laser about a year ago. I am more than pleased with the results. Im 45 years old and everyone says I dont look a day over 35. Ive received microdermabrasion treatments as well as photorejuvenation on my chest, neck and face. The photorejuvenation diminishes redness and removes brown spots. Yesterday I had a small amount of Juvederm injected in the parenthesis lines on my face. Not only was it immediate gratification but not even 24 hours later it keeps getting better and better. And it was not painful at all. Dr. B has a knack for seeing things you may not notice as much, but when treated, you see a huge difference in your appearance. The staff is fabulous, professional and extremely qualified. My teenage daughter has also received laser hair removal on her upper lip and is thrilled with the results. I was thrilled with the cost! If you’re looking to get a V.I. Peel go somewhere else. Franklin Skin & Laser failed to mention that prep work consisting of 4 weeks is required prior to receiving a V.I. Peel. Having received peels in the past without prep work, that information should be listed on the website and/or receptionist should mention it upon confirming appointments. Truly a waste of time.

The atmosphere is clean and relaxing. The laser hair removal cured my severe folliculitis, I was suffering from ingrown hairs which caused damage to my skin. Laser treatment killed the hair follicles and cured the folliculitis.
