I came in to do a rook piercing 2 years ago and came back recently to get some help with my navel piercing. Wendi is the best and a literal blessing in the life of anyone who wants a piercing!! The prices are very reasonable and it includes jewelry into the price. I felt very comfortable and left with valuable information.

She really did a great job in detail on both of my cats to really be able to show the difference in them. My husband and I got tattoos from Hannah and had a great experience. The studio was very clean. Everyone we encountered, from our consultation to our appointment, was friendly. Hannah made sure we were comfortable and checked on us frequently during the process. I got 2 tattoos from her, my first ever, including a memorial for our 2 dogs we lost this year. Got a conch piercing here two years ago, and the experience I had at the shop was professional and convenient, so they get a star for that. however, wendi gave me a bar for my piercing that was wayyy too long, like just a ridiculous length. unsurprisingly, the bar kept getting caught on my hair, bumped in the shower, bumped when I took my glasses on and off, etc, and I developed an irritation bump at the site of the piercing. I went back to the shop looking for help, only to be told that I have a keloid (which was not correct) and that there was nothing they could do, refused to put in a shorter bar because it had only been 5 months and they needed to wait 6 months. I actually ended up going to the doctor about it and was told that the bump would go away on its own eventually, which it did, thankfully. the whole experience left me thinking that these people dont really know what theyre doing.

Great experience for my first tattoo! Everyone was friendly, studio very clean, Josue made me feel very comfortable and explained the process as he went along. I highly recommend the studio & Josue!

I got my tattoo from Hannah, and she was awesome! It was my second piece, it was fairly large and also my first piece with shading/color. She was very good about making it as comfortable an experience as possible. Not only that, she absolutely crushed the design and execution of the tattoo. Could not have asked for a better artist/experience.

Best tattoo experience! I had spoken with Hannah about the design I wanted and she was kind, courteous, and very knowledgeable. I have severe eczema so her expertise on how to safely tattoo my arm and the modified aftercare procedures I would need to follow was invaluable. We chatted throughout the session and took breaks when needed. Her communication is top tier and she did everything she could to help me be comfortable. I am so excited to see her again to continue my sleeve!The other artists in the shop were also very kind and supportive of both Hannah and myself throughout this process. Hannah is a fabulous artist and super talented tattooer! I’m lucky enough to have four of her pieces, and every time, she knocks it out of the park. She is super patient and takes time to get design, size and placement just right for each client- working really well with different body shapes, sizes, and anatomy… and explains in depth each step of the way. She’s not afraid or offended to make changes to fit each individual. If you have positioning issues (bad back, bad knee, etc), she works hard to make sure you are comfortable, providing extra pillows and continually checking in to make sure you are doing well during the tattoo, and takes as many breaks as you need. In a personal level, she’s definitely a bright spot in the day, something we all need. If you are looking for an amazing piece of artwork to wear proudly on your body, Hannah is one of the best around. Go get yerself tattooed by her!

I cannot express how thankful and amazing Hannah is at Golden Spiral!! I’ve been getting work done by her when she was an apprentice and have continued to get her art on my body! She recently did this memorial piece for me, honoring my brother who overdosed. I simply gave her three stipulations and she created and placed this piece on me forever. She took special consideration the meaning of the piece and I teared up when I saw the design for the first time. Additionally she did great with making sure placement fit well with my body. I waited to write a review because I wanted to show how great her art heals, this is a little after two months of being healed. The colors and line work are remarkable. I will continue to use Hannah as my tattoo artist for all my ink needs!!

I got permanent make up from Tiffany and had an amazing experience. The studio was very clean. Tiffany made sure I was comfortable and checked on me frequently during the process. I walked in a little nervous but Hannah greeted me with a smile and immediately got me taken care of. She was very professional and explained everything from tattoo sizing, payment, what to expect, as well as explaining how color would show up on my darker skin (which I very much appreciated). We scheduled a time and Hannah was very attentive throughout the while process. Again its been a while so there was some slight nerves but she eased it all. I would definitely recommend this ship and her for your tattoo and piercing needs. High chances I will return and bring my friends!

Tiffany did an amazing job on my brows, I absolutely love them!! Tiffany went to great lengths to make sure my brows were the perfect shape and that I was completely happy with them. She made sure I was comfortable and understood the entire procedure and the end result is perfect. They make such a difference to my face! Wendi is an amazing piercer! Went to her about two piercings I got from someone else that I was concerned about and she gave me advice and after a few weeks she repierced them and they are placed exactly where I wanted them. She changed my jewelry at one point and replaced a ball I had lost for literally only $3. The environment is extremely comfortable

The review is not for the whole shop, but for one artist who possesses artistic spirit and knowledge, but is very bad in business decisions and evaluations of his works. I was told one price before and then after the tattoo was done the price was higher by $$$, and the only thing I got was sorry. The shop is generally very clean and the others are very friendly, but since the artist is part of this shop, I only give two stars...

I went to Hannah for a tattoo to honor my great grandmother, Lady B. Let me just say that it has been 5+ years since my last tattoo and I was feeling very anxious, but Hannah is absolutely LOVELY! I knew that I wanted the tattoo to have a bee, we talked about my favorite memories with Lady B, and she asked me questions regarding the design during our consultation. Day of tattoo: She explained things before we started the process and checked with me every step of the way to make sure that I loved the custom design, size, and placement of my tattoo before we started. Afterwards, She thoroughly explained aftercare for my tattoo and kept me company while I waited for my ride in the lobby. I had an amazing experience getting my very 1st tattoo with Hannah!! She was able to squeeze me in with a short notice while in town for the day. I gave her my ideas and trusted her artistic ability to make my vision come to life and she exceeded expectations. Super friendly staff. Was able to walk in and get an impromptu tattoo without any wait. They also will do touch ups for free! Got my nose pierced here as well. I came back after I took the stud out and was unable to get it back in and they helped me free of charge. It’s very clean and the staff is knowledgeable and good about making sure you understand how to clean and care for your piercing/tattoo before you leave.

I had a great experience with Hannah last month as she was able to assist me with two pieces. One was a memorial-based tattoo and one was significant to my upbringing. These were my first tattoos in almost a decade, which caused some anxiousness for me. Hannah talked me through the entire process, checked in on any discomfort/pain, and offered breaks if needed. I definitely felt well taken care of and look forward to continuing to receive services from her!

This should be the only tattoo shop in Greensboro that you go to. Hannah did my first tattoo, and to say I was nervous was an understatement (although my mom definitely was not helping). She walked us through the process step by step, making sure we were as comfortable as humanly possible. She was super patient with us, as we had no idea about the etiquette involved with making changes to the design after the stencil was placed. Throughout the process, she was super into making sure that I was comfortable and told me various times that if I needed anything all I had to do was ask. Great experience, will be coming back for many more tattoos by Hannah. She is extremely talented, highly recommend her for anyone looking to get a tattoo done. Would rate this experience 10 stars if that was possible. Also, everything that they use is brand new, aka super clean. You literally do not have to worry about anything here, and that’s what you’re looking for in a tattoo shop.

Im somewhat new to the area and was looking for a local artist to do some work for me. I came across Hannah, got in touch with her, we clicked even over text, she has a phenomenal personality! Golden Spiral is THE BEST tattoo place I’ve ever been to! I had the pleasure or working with Hannah on a piece of Haku from Spirited Away, and I was blown away on how beautiful it came out to be. She was extremely kind and always made sure I was comfortable/gave me breaks when I needed them. Evan gave me my very first tattoo last Saturday. Its a rather large Lion head for Leo on the left side of my chest. I made an appointment after talking with Evan. I was thoroughly impressed with his work and his professionalism. The shop was very professional as well. Already thinking of another one. If I do, Ill be going back there.

Tiffany was excellent at the microblading of my eye brows. So happy with the shape and the color. She was friendly and took her time to give me the best finished results . Everything was so clean and tidy. Would recommend!

Wendi was an AMAZING piercer! I got my daith done (for migraines) She was very clear with instructions and very candid about the whole experience which was greatly appreciated. The whole shop was very clean and well maintained. Even the staff not attending me were very polite and sweet to my husband and myself. I will definitely be coming back for any future piercings! The shop also has a wheelchair ramp so it is definitely more accessible than others Ive been to (I walk with a cane). Love it!

Went in just to buy a septum ring. Not to get it pierced. The woman in front was rude, she was trying to tell me that my septum wasnt open, I tried to stress that I KNEW it was open, she proceeded to tell me that shes been in this line of work for 26 years and she would have to remeasure the diameter to see what I needed. Even though I told her it was a 16 gauge. I wont go back. I went to Spencers, bought a septum ring, and it slid right in.Horrible customer service from that one person. Do better.

Wendi just pierced my seconds last week the same time my mom got her daith pierced. I wanted to get my daith done as well, but she told me I couldn’t because it would not be safe due to my cartilage being smaller. I am glad that she gave me the truth rather than risk my safety from a rejected piercing for money. She was very quick, kind, and personable. I HIGHLY recommend going to her and I got quotes from other piercers, but Wendi had the best price for her years of experience and the very high quality jewelry. I highly recommend getting work done by Hannah!! She has done several of my tattoos, both small and large. She always creates such amazing pieces of art to put on my body and I plan to continue going back (its a 3 hour drive for me!). Most recently, she did a coverup on my shoulder and super personalized it by using an image of my beloved cat. She is super flexible to work with and is always open to feedback. She also is super compassionate and willing to work with you if you need to take breaks. Hannah also checks in with me after the tattoo and makes sure to reask if I have any questions about aftercare which is nice in case you forget to ask anything at the end of the session. Hannah does amazing work and creates such an awesome environment to get tatted in. Will be revisiting soon.

If youre looking for not just a good tattoo, but a GREAT one, this is the place. Ill forever refer to it as a boutique tattoo shop because its truly so much different than your standard tattoo shop. Golden spiral has been and always will be my go to shop in greensboro. I have countless tattoos from both Hannah and Justin. They always do an amazing job and make sure youre comfortable during the process. I havent had the opportunity to book with the other artists there yet, but Ive spent enough time in the shop to know theyre good peoples too. O and dont forget about Wendy for any of your piercing needs! Shes put about 10 holes in me so far and she does a great job.TLDR; this is my favorite shop in greensboro and they have a great staff! I went to Golden Spiral Studios with my daughter to get her first tattoo. Zach had come highly recommended by a friend, so we drove from Durham to Greensboro to have it done. The shop is spacious and very clean. Her tattoo is stunning - vibrant colors and just what she wanted. We both are beyond pleased.

I got my first tattoo by Hannah Lawson today and it was amazing ! she was so professional and so sweet! She’s very fast and her prices are extremely reasonable and her work shows just how amazing she was! I highly recommend her

I came in with my friend who was planning on getting her tongue pierced. The piercer, Wendi, asked if we were both getting something done. I was planning on getting a piercing Saturday anyways and Im at a piercing place right now so why not? I asked about getting another nostril piercing and was showing her. Wendi was really rude and was like Stop touching your nose. No, you cant get it done. Theres no room. I completely get that not every piercing is possible but her tone was off. The way she talked to my friend right next to me was completely different. A lot nicer. My friend went back to get her tongue pierced and came out five minutes later. She wasnt able to because of a vein in her tongue (again, understandable. Not every piercing works for everyones anatomy and at least Wendi didnt ignore that.) However, my friend said that 1. Wendi ignored that she felt nervous. A tongue piercing can be scary and my friend said Wendi didnt make her feel comfortable at all. Wendi said she shouldnt be nervous, that she wouldnt count down, she just should get over it, stuff like that. 2. Wendis attitude changed once she realized it couldnt be done. She walked right past us and didnt say goodbye or anything. Its not a requirement but still, why not something like sorry it couldnt be done. Maybe next time we can do something else! Have a good one. The bare minimum. Ive heard good reviews from my other friends but they were white and my friend and I happen to be people of color. I dont know if she was rude because of a race thing or because she realized she couldnt make money from us. But Im glad I didnt give her my money and next time, Ill go see my regular piercer. Just to repeat: I’m not upset about us not being able to get pierced. If you can’t get it done because of your anatomy, then you can’t. I’m upset because of how rude she was to us.

Ive been to a few different competent piercers and Wendi at Golden Spiral is the best. Shes very knowledgeable, answers questions, and takes her time and care for each customer. Ive had nothing but great results.For those who care, this studio used internally threaded implant grade steel for my jewelry.

I would just like to say, I know nothing about the tattoo artist there, but this post is about their peircer. While her process and peircings themselves are good, her jewlery is questionable and never answered my questions about what the metal was, her jewlery styles are outdated, and her aftercare is very awfully outdated. Her aftercare instructions are to use Dial antibacterial soap, which has been out of date and unprofessional for years. Her recommendation of Dial soap is very outdated and potentially harmful. Be very careful if you get a peircing here

I got a navel piercing today and it was very enjoyable. Wendi was my piercer and she was so sweet and helpful, she tells you all you need to know and more. After I got my piercing I felt a little dizzy and nauseous and she helped me so much. Very clean and super friendly staff. Also very affordable! I would give a 10/10 if I could.

I absolutely cannot recommend this place enough. Everyone that I met there was so nice, the shop is so clean and everything about my visit was impressive. I have two smaller tattoos that I had gotten at other locations but after hearing some good reviews and checking the place out online I decided to come here for my first bigger piece. I met with Matt Heft to talk about what I wanted and I was very impressed that he was genuinely interested in my tattoo and doing an excellent job for me. His whole approach was a major deciding factor for me because in the past Ive had experiences at other shops where the artist didnt make eye contact and barely seemed to be interested in what I was asking for. You can tell with both Matt and all of the other artists that you meet at Golden Spiral that they are dedicated to doing quality work. Matt had me email him some pictures and when I returned for my appointment he had a fantastic design ready for me. He got about half of my tattoo done in the first visit and it already looks far more incredible than I had ever anticipated; I cant wait to return in a few weeks to get it finished. I plan on returning for all future tattoos that I want and if you are wanting anything done I absolutely recommend Golden Spiral, you wont regret it.

I have already gotten two from Sierra and have booked another session with her before I move out of Greensboro because she is great to work with and creates exactly what I ask for. All the staff at GS is very polite, friendly, easy to talk to, and knowledgeable on their fields. The pricing here is very reasonable and worth the time spent.

I got my third tattoo at Golden Spiral and I was extremely pleased with the shop and the service I received. Golden Spiral is very clean and the artists there are very talented and knowledgeable. I HIGHLY recommend Zach Crisp. He did an absolutely stunning lotus flower with lily pads and water on my back and it is flawless. It took Zach two sessions to complete my tattoo due to its size. Zach is very personable and easy to talk to. And more importantly, he is a fantastic artist! All of the tattoos that I have seen done by Zach have been beautiful. His attention to detail is perfect. He takes the time to give you exactly what you ask for and he does it with extreme precision. Zachs price for my tattoo was reasonable. I got my septum and 2nd earlobe piercings done here by Wendi. She was awesome! She talked me through every step and made sure I knew what she was doing before she did it. She also made sure I had time to ask any questions I had. I would definitely go back!

Went and seen Wendi today to get my nipples pierced and was beyond nervous and she done an awesome job talking me threw it !! She took the time out of her day yesterday to email back and forth with me and also talked with me a lot today during the process!!! I wouldn’t go back to anyone else after going to her! Alan did a large Van Gogh inspired tattoo for my best friends and me. The whole process for both of us to get such a large piece took around 6.5 hours. During all those 6.5 hours, Alan was professional and courteous. If you needed his to talk to get you through the pain, he did that; if you needed him to listen to his music while you got in a meditative state, he did that. He could tell when we needed breaks from the pain and was very fast and meticulous about his work. The environment of the salon was very clean and friendly. Everyone was excited to see how various pieces turned out and helped one another getting supplies. This is also the first tattoo parlor that my friend and I have been to that had tvs in every booth to give canvases something to watch. Pricing was reasonable and explained very clearly. Overall would recommend this place to everyone! Definitely a place that I will go back to, if I decide to get another tattoo in the future (this one was on the ribs, so I will be taking a short break for a while hahaha)

Wendi is literally the best piercer I have ever gone to. I’ve gotten 4 piercing from her at different times. She is extremely professional and you can tell that she knows what she’s doing. Everything is super clean, they also practiced covid hygiene and it was much appreciated. Love this place and will definitely be going back!

I went in to get my bent industrial downsized and she said that I should not even have the piercing in the first place. Then said that you can’t change the jewelry for 5 months and that it would mess it up, even though the helix part was already starting to tilt downwards, which happened to me the first time i got it done when i did not downsize. She was very rude about it all and even when I said that i was told to downsize, she refused. It’s actually a very quick google search that says you SHOULD downsize piercing jewelry. Don’t go here, go to an APP approved shop always as they actually know what they are doing.

Ive been to Golden spiral for 3 tattoos now and love the people there. Ive been working with Matt Heft, but everyone there is very friendly and tend to joke with each other a lot. They have a great environment there. Yeah, they arent a cheap tattoo place, but do you want a cheap looking tattoo? Also, they clearly state their refund policy, so if you dont show up to your appointment you lose the money. Im completely fine with this, because id be pissed if they werent there for my appointment, so why shouldnt they be? Dont waste each others time. Anyway, They have some great artists and seem to be the best place in Greensboro. Ill be moving about 1.5 hours away and will still be making the drive to come to them. Especially since my big piece still needs work and Matt pays such close to detail that it looks amazing.

Let me just say, this studio is AMAZING!!! My husband and I recently went to Golden Spiral while visiting the Greensboro area and we were surprised as soon as we walked in the door. The studio looks very modern and streamlined, forgoing the typical disheveled tattoo decor which consist of multiple poster racks of tattoo templates on the wall, and instead opting for paintings done exclusively by their artists. The front desk attendant was very prompt and attentive as soon as we entered, making it a point to find two artists we could talk to. Sam did my tattoo and he was amazing! Rodney did my husbands and it is also amazing! Both of these artists are very professional, very friendly, and very well equipped to handle any idea someone may have for a tattoo. These guys are not just your basic run of the mill tattoo artists, but true artists. They definitely deliver! We have now decided if I or my husband want another tattoo, we will definitely travel the 2+ hours to Golden Spiral for Sam or Rodney. Trust me, you will not be disappointed at this studio!

I have had 5 tattoos done here and I havent even considered going to a different shop. The parking is sometimes a problem being downtown but its always nice to walk and admire the city on your way to your appointment. Once inside youre greeted by friendly receptionists and beautiful and unique artwork from the various artists. They find the right artist for you and every artist Ive worked with has been good to me and delivered exactly what I wanted.

When I decided to get my first tattoo, I researched several studios in the Triad before deciding I was most impressed by the portfolios at Golden Spiral. When walking around town & you see someone with a great tattoo & stop to talk to them about it...they all say go to Golden Spiral. So we did. I must say Ive walked into other shops hoping to get tattooed & didnt because it was gross or the people lacked any sort of professionalism. When I walked into Golden Spiral two weeks ago you can immediately tell a difference. This place is fantastic & CLEAN place! I personally got my first, probably not my last, tattoo from Sam King last week here. He designed a small beautiful ankle tattoo for me. Being my first tattoo I had lots of questions & may have been a bit dramatic during the process, & he was excellent at answering my questions & not laughing at me! Today my boyfriend got his first tattoo by Matt Heft. Matt designed a gorgeous chest piece that far exceeded either of our expectations. He was great during the whole process, & took his time explaining the after care of the tattoo, which was greatly appreciated. Both artists have amazing talents & we look forward to visiting again soon!

He did a wonderful job drawing up the tattoos I wanted, and when he was tattooing me, he paused a couple times and made sure I was doing alright (I was getting a tattoo under my collarbone). This was an amazing experience and shop, and I would definitely recommend going here. Clean shop, and interesting artwork on the walls.

Golden Spiral is the absolute best tattoo shop I have ever visited. This was my 4th tattoo, and easily the best experience Ive had so far. I went in with my family so that we could all get tattoos done together, and the staff was phenomenal - especially Matt Heft, who handled my tattooing. 3 out of the 4 of us needed our designs drawn from scratch, and the artists did an incredible job of exceeding our expectations of how good the designs could actually look. They worked with us the entire day from open to close, and we could not have asked for a better place to go. If you live anywhere even remotely near Golden Spiral and you are thinking of getting a tattoo but dont know where to go, let me save you some time: this is your best option, and its not even close.

Had my first appointment with Zach Crisp over the weekend. I still am in awe when I look at my arm and and so happy I get to keep this gorgeous piece of art for the rest of my life. Zach is extraordinarily talented and the people in Greensboro are lucky to have him here... this dude is an up-and-comer in the industry and is definitely someone to watch.Its worth mentioning that a tattoo is an investment in the art, artist and a lifetime commitment. You get what you pay for, and going in expecting a discount tattoo or $200 worth isnt the right way to approach this decision. I had to cancel my initial appointment due to a family emergency and had no problem keeping my deposit and rescheduling my appointment.The entire studio is clean and I love the tvs in every artists booth. Oh yeah, its a booth not a cubicle. ha. All the artists in the shop were nice and welcoming and did beautiful work. Will definitely go back!

My daughter and I just had tattoos done by Matt Heft and we both had a great experience. The shop is clean and the atmosphere is professional. Matt really listened to what I wanted and created the perfect tattoo for me. He did a great job and I will definitely go back.

If you want as new tattoo experience this is the place to go! I have followed Sean Carey (owner) to every shop he has worked at and when he opened this shop I was blown away. This is an upscale no flash custom tattoo studio. If you have an idea the artist here will make magic for you, believe me you will not be disappointed! I recommend Sean for any style you want done but his specialty is Japanese. Shop is super clean, just different from any shop Ive ever seen in person. Its more like going into the upscale New York shops you see on TV. Everyone is very nice. All I can say is go here!

Got my first tattoo ever at Golden Spiral Studios here in Greensboro. Luke did my tattoo and did an incredible job. it was really detailed with extremely thin lines and he made it perfect! the whole experiece was great, the atmosphere is awesome. The guys here are super talented and very professional. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Excellent tattoo shop. Highly recommend! The artists are great, the shop is clean, bright, and sterile. It is also a nice touch they have televisions in each booth that play movies. If you are getting a tattoo that takes hours (like I did) it is nice to be able to chill and watch a movie. I think this is the best place to get a tattoo in Greensboro if you want high quality work.

So far Wendi has pierced my rook and bellybutton and I had such an amazing experience with her - she is very clean, professional and explained what she was doing before she did it. She takes her time and allows you to ask questions in a very relaxed environment. I would recommend her to anyone and I will most definitely be going back for more piercings!

Justin is amazing. His hospitality and homey-ness is so refreshing. The woman who greeted me was so sweet and I felt guided and taken care of in and out of the door. Justin is superrrrrrr sweet and took me in even though I waited till the day i wanted my tattoo. This highly professional individual took the time to establish stellar communication to ensure I got exactly what I wanted. His attention to detail is impressive and he worked his way through my tiny tatt so efficiently! I couldnt have asked for a more perfect experience and I believe I have found my person ❤️

Ive found that Golden Spiral is a clean and competitively priced tattoo shop for the Greensboro area. Zach Crisp specifically has been very professional and skilled artist. When dealing with appointments he has assured me of his commitment to me in that time. His art work is incredible, he encourages a comfortable atmosphere during the session, and does beautiful work. Commitment to a time being broken means he no longer has a tattoo for that appointment and no longer has the guaranteed income. This is the point of a deposit. I look forward to future sessions with him!

This was the absolute best experience Ive had at a tattoo shop. It is super sanitary and everything about it screams incredibly clean from front to back door. Colin, my tattoo artist was soooo incredibly friendly and super creative, he took his time and didnt rush through anything. Hes beyond professional and fun as hell!!! My tattoo is absolutely beautiful, I dont know how he managed but it hardly hurt. It looks great already and its only been a day. I havent seen any blood, it doesnt hurt and the compliments just keep coming. I highly recommend Golden Spiral and be sure to ask for Colin. If hes not avaliable just wait until he is. Im sure the other artist are just as talented but hes top of the line!!! The staff are all super friendly and I had an awesome time!!!😍😍😍

Just got my first script tattoo done here by Will Gonzales. I must say by just walking in they managed to get me setup and tatted up in less than 2 hours. The price was reasonable and the level of professionalism was great. The atmosphere in the shop was very light and humble. Jokes were thrown around to lighten the tension of my first tattoo. Overall excellent place to get a new piece or first piece done! Also Will has tattood many of my friends and his style is something of its own, amazing!

Recently my friend and I got tattoos by Matt Heft. Both of us already had tattoos but this was our first time at Golden Spiral, and we HIGHLY recommend it just as it was to us. The place is incredibly clean and welcoming, as soon as I walked in I felt comfortable. I am not an artistic person at all and I had the idea of my tattoo and what I wanted in my head and was unable to put it down on paper. Matt completely went above and beyond my expectations. Im in love with my tattoo which is a huge deal to me since it is for my family. My friend was equally as impressed as Matt was able to take the picture she brought in along with her own modifications and nailed it. We couldnt have imagined going any where else. Clean and sanitary shop but got a simple band and Only took an hour to complete. the guy I had as my artist was a nice guy but charged $180 after placing a $50 deposit even though it was barely an hour for a simple piece, only paid cause i felt bad since I was a Walk-in. So not a bad place to go but definitely seems like they will try to rip you off if they can get the chance.

I got my first tattoo from golden spiral a few months ago. Luke Blegen had done a quarter sleeve for me and I could not be more happy with it. Ive been to many tattoo parlors but this one, by far, has been the greatest one. The tattoo came out nothing short of spectacular. Hes an outstanding artist and will definitely continue to get my business. This shop is awesome and I recommend it to everyone. Cant wait to go back!!!

I had been talking to Sierra about the tattoo I wanted for a few weeks, but she came up with something even more beautiful than I could have imagined. I love it so much! The vibe of the shop was chill and helped ease my nerves, as this was my first tattoo. If I decide to get another one, I’ll definitely come back here.

I just had my first tattoo done today by Matt Heft and it was a great experience. He was very informative and offered some great suggestions. The studio is very clean and open, plus Matt seemed to be very careful with sanitation during the process. It is also at a great location on Elm Street, where I spend many of my weekends. I definitely will be recommending this studio to my friends.

Just finished a large back/cover up piece with Zach Crisp! Cant say enough good things. Saw his Instagram and knew I needed something by him. Definitely a great guy, and worth checking out. I dont live in Greensboro and its a bit of trip for me to get there, but he was more than accommodating in the email consultation, making sure that what I wanted out of the tattoo was there while still weighing in on what would work for my cover up. So without having seen his sketches I felt very confident going in to my first appointment. And of course they were absolutely stunning! (Might be a bit biased though..) If you need an artist that has talent, personable, and is very professional, Zachs your guy.

I just got my daith pierced by Wendi and she did amazing I am very pleased! She went over every detail and made the process smooth! She told me everything she was gonna do so there was no surprises! Overall I had a wonderful experience and would recommend her to everyone that is wanting a piercing!

Wendi pierced my lobes. I had a specific piercing in mind, but she was honest with me in that it would not work. I appreciate that rather than going through with it anyways. She took her time, and explained what she was doing during the process. She was really friendly as well. I will be back to have her do my future piercings definitely.

I did four piercings in one day. I didnt have any piercings other than normal lobe piercings before I went, but I got two more lobe piercings, one helix piercing, and one nipple piercing. Ron did an absolutely FANTASTIC job of explaining the procedures he would be performing (before he did them), as well as the medical aspects of the procedure, and detailed aftercare. I was a little nervous before the procedures of course (especially the nipple one) but he did a great job of making me feel comfortable and relaxed. The environment was very sterile. Coming from someone with medical background and knowledge, I have to say I was very, very impressed! Even if youre just going to get your lobes pierced, I recommend this place 10/10 :)

Alright so I came in for a walk in, but they were a little busy. So I got to talk to Sam King, and he said he would give me a call if his client didnt show. I stayed downtown and received a call maybe 10 minutes after, I went in and was very scared because it was my first time. He was so understanding and sweet, I couldnt of had a better experience, I loved the shop so much that 5 minutes after leaving i came back to get my conch pierced by Ron Bishop who was just as sweet, understanding, and skilled as Sam! They both took the time to make sure it was a wonderful experience and they both knew and could explain the process perfectly. It looks like Ive found my official piercer and tattoo artist :) By the way, so sad I dont see more about Sam and Ron on here, believe me they are absolutely amazing!

Awesome experience! Went to discuss getting my first tattoo, ended up speaking with Marcus. He made me feel comfortable right away and I ended up getting the tattoo that day. Spent time with me getting the palacement, size and shape to where I was happy. Linework was very clean, couldn’t be happier!
