Easy, comfortable, friendly! Took my 9 month old here to get her earlobes pierced & had a wonderful experience with Bio. From the time we booked our appointment, to the time he pierced her ears, his communication was professional & clear. I did tons of research before letting my 15 year old daughter an industrial ear piercing. I inquired and almost immediately received an email back to book her appointment same day. Jeffrey does amazing work for a very good price!! He managed to pierce my earlobes exactly where I had them done before, so I have not had any issues with irritation, redness, swelling, etc. and it was completely painless. His humor and attitude made me and my boyfriend feel safe and we enjoyed our time here. I have known Bio personally and professionally for serval years. He has done all my piercings and I wouldnt go anywhere else; the only reason I removed them was due to my profession. He is the only piercer I have never had any issues with my piercings whatsoever and I have very finicky skin. Went in with my gal friend for moral support while she got her nose pierced. Dude was so chill piercing her I decided to get my belly button done on a whim. Our piercer was super intentional about letting us know exactly what he was doing while piercing and how to practice good after care. 10/10 would def recommend. Randomly decided to get my Septum pierced and Googled for a local piercing shop nearest to me and saw Mod Squad. It was super easy to spot from the street (not familiar with the area at all)Called ahead of time and had a walk in for 6:30, was immediately greeted when I walked in and I was in and out of there in less than 10 mins. The piercing was painless and straight as an arrow. Everyone there was super kind and I would recommend getting piercings here

Jeff was FANTASTIC!!! Was our first time meeting and I would 100% go back. This is my third navel piercing. (First rejection, second they pieced same place I took out on my own, third was here). I got my belly pierced here and the piercer was SO nice and very comforting when i felt like i was going to pass out after. I even threw up in his trash can from adrenaline and he gave me paper towels and offered to hold my hair. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!

Got my first piercing done a few days after I turned 18, came in with my girlfriend who was getting her naval re-pierced. Very quick and simple piercings as well as good conversation and explanations to most likely dumb questions to a professional. Everyone was so sweet with my 5 month old daughter. The worst of it was holding her but he got the piercings through pretty quick and was patient when I was readjusting her and figuring out how I needed to hold her. We also took my 8 year old niece. She was ready to chicken out and he calmly talked her through it and communicated what he was doing so she wasn’t panicking. If I could give -10 stars I would. DO NOT recommend. Find somewhere else with real piercers.1- Attitude from the piercing guy was beyond unprofessional and rude.2- Things were not sterilized, just packed, as a healthcare worker, I can tell from their pack if it was sterilized or not.3- Impatient, doesn’t want to answer questions, rude.4- They talked horribly about other customers walking in in front of me.5- They are horrible at piercing, he missed where he should’ve pierced, and when I mentioned it, he gave me attitude. I am now left with only skin around a cartilage piercing because he completely missed the cartilage.

The people here are very friendly and were able to fit my friend and I in for last minute piercing appointments. The piercer was very professional and fun to talk to, you could tell he really has a passion for what he does and enjoys being there. I will definitely be using their services again in the near future.

I have personally never been to Hagerstown Md. When I went into the shop there was relaxing vibing music on. Bio is the piercer there and he’s so kind! He was so helpfulThrough the whole process. I took my 7 month old daughter to get her ears pierced and I can’t express enough what a great experience bringing her to biohazard was. We knew we wanted to do professional piercing with hollow needle versus a piercing gun because it would be less painful and less traumatic and would have a better healing process. When I initially called, the owner was very helpful and courteous in providing me with information and answering my questions. When we came in for the appointment, he was waiting for us and had everything ready to go. He was great with our daughter and the piercing was quick and seamless. She didn’t flinch and barely cried. He was super gentle and sweet with her. I am so happy we came here! I highly recommend him!

I was very nervous getting a piercing since all my piercings was done by the same person and I am not big on change. Let me tell you I am glad I went here and I went with a group and my piercing was amazing. He was very knowledgeable, funny and explained after care that needed to be done. My daughter just had her ears pierced tonight. Our experience was good. Kind of crooked.

DON’T GET PIERCED HERE!!! To start, they didn’t ask for my ID or have me fill out any of the standard paperwork when you get a piercing. Once I got to his station he marked my ear (industrial piercing) and let me check out the placement. Everything looked good so far. He started by telling me he was going to pierce me with a 16 gauge needle and I agreed. Once he started it wasn’t so bad until he pulls the first needle out and says” I messed up on the placement I need to do it again”. The proceeds to pierce my ear again. I went in for a piercing that required two piercings and I got three. Upon looking at the piercing when I got home I noticed I had blood all over the side of my head that he couldn’t clean for me. The spot where he “pierced to shallow” and had to re-pierce, was placed completely wrong. And it’s a 14 gauge not a 16! I had to remove the piercing just due to the bar sticking out of the front of my ear lol. You can see it hanging from a very thin piece of ear in the picture.After removing it, I noticed there were not two holes where he pierced twice… so that means he pierced the same spot twice…There are far better places to go instead of here. Just remember, you get what you pay for here. Someone who has “been piercing for 13 years” wouldn’t have made these mistakes!

Bio was amazing with my 4 month old daughter- I would recommend him to everyone!! We did lots of research leading up to her piercing & knew we wanted someone who was licensed, clean, and used a needle rather than a gun for a more comfortable process and better healing. Bio was extremely patient with us- only uses surgical steel & her piercings are perfectly even. She hasn’t been fussy at all & doesn’t seem to be bothered by her fresh piercings. I wouldn’t go anywhere else 😊

We called SEVERAL places to try and get into the same day and he was the only one willing to get us in, and within the next half hour at that. I almost never write reviews, but I definitely wanted to commend my piercer for his work today! I called about getting a third hole in my earlobe pierced and he was able to get me in immediately, but offered other appointment times the day of as well. Finding the shop was a bit confusing, but it will be at the back of a barber shop to the left. Once I was in, he was quick and efficient in getting set up for my piercing and offered me reasonably priced jewelry that was appropriate for a new piercing (titanium/stainless steel?). Everything seemed to be sterile and opened new for my piercing. He was able to line up my third hole very well and work with my anatomy. The piercing was quick and relatively painless and even typing this about 2 hours later, it is feeling great. The price was very good and I could tell he was very educated about piercing and aftercare. Great customer service and he made me feel safe and comfortable, which I don’t often find. Offers many different payment options. I will definitely be coming back!

I went to biohazard to get body piercings. The owner greeted me right away and the atmosphere was great and super clean. He is all about a sterile clean environment, he spent several minutes just cleaning and prepping the piercing area. I got my nose pierced here for the first time when I first walked in the guy completely forgot about my appointment and he has this attitude towards it. He then took me back and he pierced my nose with a l bar stud it stayed in but the second night it came out and I had to repierce my own nose with a hoop

My daughter has been asking to get snakebites for awhile now. So, for her birthday I reached out to BioHazard on FB messenger asking for some information regarding this piercing. He responded quickly and was very polite. My daughter and I went to see him today, 5/4/23 and he already knew who we were. He asked me to sign the needed consent form and then we went to the back. My daughter had additional questions which he answered thoroughly and the piercings were done smoothly. So far, my daughter isn’t very sore and there isn’t much swelling. The price was fair, the studio was nice and the professionalism was superb. We already plan on coming back to change out the jewelry once she’s healed enough. I cannot recommend this establishment enough! I went and got my nipples pierced, and the artist was great at setting a comfortable environment. He made sure to talk me through the whole process and told me what he was doing before doing it. The cleanliness of the whole process was 10/10 (I can vouch for that being a healthcare worker!). I went to Bio with a friend for 2 different piercings, tongue and nipples. He’s incredible as a piercer and makes the process easier than ever!! Also, one of the most down to earth people who allows and encourages you to just process everything in whatever way you need to. I was very nervous and had expressed it, he reassured me and within like 10 seconds my piercing was done. He makes sure in every way that you’re comfortable which the process! With that being said, I also had gotten lightheaded and nauseous towards the end which is also normal and he was an incredible support to just make sure you’re okay and even safe. Very grateful for his work and who he was as a person. Got my nips pierced here after doing my research on several piercers around my area. They are healing so well and are really straight which is surprising because I was moving a lot. Bio is straight up awesome. Wanted my nose pierced for my birthday (last minute decision on my part!) I had gotten pierced elsewhere and got screwed over with some fake jewelry my ears were heading towards infection. Belly button piercing - I’m normally not one to leave reviews but not only do I keep thinking about how positive this experience was but also quality. My daughter wanted to have her belly button pierced and we chose Biohazard due to his google reviews. They were completely accurate! He made us both comfortable, no pressure, talked us through the whole procedure and care process. Here we are 7 months later - piercing is straight, no infections and no issues. I took my eight year old for her first ear piercing and took myself for my forty something year old belly button piercing.. My friend and I wanted to be cool moms and get our noses pierced again. We both had nose piercings in our younger days. We originally planned to go to another well known place but they didn’t have availability the day we wanted so I looked around and found Bio with all these 5 star reviews. My friend reached out, left a VM. He texted back from the HOSPITAL about getting us in on that Saturday (the day we wanted). Talk about customer service! (I also would have completely understood if he didn’t call back immediately considering the situation). There is a parking garage right across the street so that was convenient. Shop is clean. He had a walk in and asked that they wait to honor our appointment and not make us wait - really appreciated that extra customer care. He explained everything thoroughly including care afterwards. Makes you feel super comfortable, just an easy going vibe that honestly relaxes you if you’re nervous about it. Great to talk to and cut up with. Sanitized frequently, changed gloves between each of us, everything you want to see when getting a hole put in your face. I’m almost a week in and no issues with my piercing. I’m not sure I’ll add to the cool mom piercings but if I did, I would absolutely come here again. Give this shop your business! It’s very obvious he cares about his customers and his trade.

I was going to be in town visiting family & decided to research ahead of time to see what piercer was in the area. It was well explained step through step before the piercing even started, I was showing that everything was clean and sterilized, and I was shown each thing that was going to be used and explained to about it all. My 8 year old daughter got her ears pierced here. The piercer did a great job with the peircing and gave lots of good after-care info as well. You can tell its something he enjoys doing and takes pride in doing well. Her ears look great. She loves them and is thrilled she had them done. Shes planning going back for more piercings as she gets older! During her piercing she was very anxious with lots of nervous energy. He let her know everything he was doing as he did it and the peircing was fast and easy. I called spur of the moment one evening, he was closing up shop but promised to wait for me. I have a bunch of piercings, but I will never go to another piercer again! Within 2 days of getting my piercing I recommended two more people who completely agree that this is the best piercer theyve ever had. My piercing is completely healed now and didnt even bleed when I got it. This is the place to go!

I have to write a review about this place. Ive had 17 piercings by different people and he is the best one Ive had. Knowledge and funny. Made me completely comfortable and talked me through everything. Even got a second unplanned piercing and Im 100% ecstatic about both. Definitely recommend

He is very maticulous about the cleanliness of all his piercing equipment. Besides being assured a sterile and safe experience, he also has the knowledge and “know-how” to get the job done in a timely and efficiently manner! He has great quality work, and stylish rings for all piercings (ear, tongue, breasts, eyebrows, Dermal, lips, you name it!) He always has reasonable prices and has a great sense of humor!! He’s been known to do some stand-up comedy, in the DMV area, in the past. Anyone that does good work, and has fun while doing it - is A-okay (A👌), to me!

I am hella pleased with my dimple piercings I got at Bio-Hazard! My boyfriend and I have both went to so many piercing shops in the area. Nothing has matched the courtesy, efficiency, as well as a friendly nature we had experienced here. We will fs be coming back for any future piercings or tattoos.

Loved it!! Really cool dude fr, he knew exactly what he was doing. Me and me cousin went and got our belly pierced. He was great and you could ask him any questions. It just felt comfortable. Definitely will be coming back when I need anything else.
