Golden Dagger Tattoos and Piercings

I got a simple lobe piercing on both sides. Staff were polite and helpful. John was very a skilled professional! He explained everything well and he seemed to be skilled in piercing. John did a good job getting my piercings to be in symmetrical spots. He even gave me something to squeeze to help with the pain. He was very patient with me and took his time. Hes a piercing artist! The piercing room seemed a bit dim. There was a lack of overhead light. Im not sure why the place didnt have more lighting in that room. It made it a bit hard to see the example marker dots so I could tell where he was going to pierce the lobe. But in the end it worked out. Overall Id rate the experience excellent.

John did my eyebrow piercing and replaced my septum and nostril jewelry. His prices are really fair especially compared to other local shops. He’s very communicative, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. Jewelry is sterilized titanium and he has a great selection. Excellent environment and I felt so comfortable. Highly recommend this place! I will definitely be back.

I had a great time getting my ears re-pierced by John! He was able to go through my original piercings that hadn’t been used for years and save me additional scar tissue. He uses high quality, comfortable titanium flat-backs that make healing a breeze! John was also able to schedule me for the same day. However, I think this place could use some sort of check-in system, as I arrived early and no told John I was there for 30 minutes. I’ll definitely go back for additional piercings, but will make sure to contact John at my appointment time.

Squeezed me in same day for a nose piercing! Everything was sterile and super clean. Communicated very well and told me what I should and shouldn’t do while healing. Amazing place I definitely recommend.

John was a hands down great piercer and a great person! Super personable and knows how to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. He got us in at the end of the day and welcomed us with open arms! Thank you John for being an OG!

I took my 12 year old daughter to have her ears pierced. I’d heard so many horror stories from the cheaper high street alternative and I wanted this done right. First of all we must have been the WORST customers ever cos we probably took about an hour deciding exactly where we wanted the dots to go to guide the piercing. John was incredibly patient with us - super professional!! The place is spotless clean. He uses a needle and not a gun and it was 100% accurate to the dot we had placed. We happened to have a small issue with the angle of the whole in one ear. Again, super patient and professional. He talked us through it, we ended up taking one of them out to heal up in a few weeks then he redid it. He never made us feel like a nuisance. There is also no chance of any infections here. The place is spotless and my daughter’s ears are doing great. I’d be back here for any future piercings and would thoroughly recommend them - great safe option for a professional reliable service!

I absolutely enjoyed my time here. When in back in January to talk about getting a lip piercing and they managed to peirce my lip on the same day. 10/10 will come back to get the other side of my lip done for snake bites.

John is a quality piercer! He genuinely wants your piercings to come out well, and will advise you to not get piercings that won’t heal well or that their angle could be uncomfortable. 5 stars is a little low if you ask me.

So my tattoo is from when they first open, I went in for my consult and we discussed my half sleeve that I wanted showed them where and how big I wanted it, I sent in my reference photos and we books. Now I go in and no my appointment and the tattoo was not what I was wanting and was nowhere close to a half sleeve either. All he did was take one of my references photos and tattooed it. Now I know I could have said that it wasn’t right but I thought he was doing a section at a time so I didn’t say it, I was there for almost 6 hours getting this tattoo. So by the time he was done I was annoyed and ready to go home. Now the tattoo it’s self it amazing and he did fantastic but it wanted what I wanted, atleast not completely anyways. The studio it’s self is amazing and the employees are great it’s clean but as for communication not the best. The tattoo artist I had no longer works there and I have since added on to the tattoo with a different artist.

I got the top of my ear pierced about 8 months ago there and the piercer told me to come back and get my bar changed and everytime I try to they either didn’t have a bar for my ear or the piercer wasn’t there, so I finally was able to get it changed on 01/20/24 and the day after I had to go have my ear cut open to get the bar out the piercer put such a short bar in my ear that it inbeded half way through the piercing. If the piercer didn’t have the right bar he should’ve just told me instead of putting my through the pain and time it took to get it out of my ear. I will NEVER be going back here again and the piercer should not be allowed to even put a needle near someone’s body if he’s gonna do that to his client. If you end up getting pierced here be very careful because he is not good at what he does

This is strictly regarding the piercing as I have not received a tattoo here. Johnny’s attitude the first time we met was great. He was very friendly and personable. He explained everything thoroughly about the piercing process etc. I’ve been back probably at least 10 times since then. Not infrequently, he hasn’t been there and there is no one else to help you, even if you just want to buy a piece of jewelry. When he has been there, he has not been friendly or helpful. Instead he makes you feel like you are bothering him and not worth his time, even if you are the only customer there. I understand that everyone has bad days so I kept going back and trying again but it has happened too many times at this point and I will not return again.

Got my right eyebrow pierced. It was a good experience. Very clean and sterile. However, eyebrow piercing came out after just two weeks. So much for it lasting. (Update) Mr. Thompson of Golden Dagger tattoo and piercings contacted me and issued me back a full refund on it.

My friend and I were walk-ins— they got us in quickly and with no problems. The staff is super friendly, everything is super clean and welcoming. If this is your first time getting a tattoo and you’re nervous or intimidated, they’ll take great care of you. I was super comfortable the whole time. Great crew. My friend and I are the founding members of the Lexi Fan Club, by the way. Definitely coming back.

The experience you have here is great. The atmosphere is absolutely the best, everyone is so friendly, and the shop is the cleanest I have ever been too!! Johnny the piercer is down to earth honest and the best around. He goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable, understand the process, and aftercare before anything happens. This is the only place I will be going for piercings from now on.

This shop is the best! Maralynn has done 2 of my tattoos and she does amazing work. I get so many people comment on how clean the lines are. All the artists are friendly and the atmosphere is super laid back. They work very hard to make sure you get exactly what you want. I definitely recommend this shop to everyone!!!

I got a nose piercing and several tattoos and it was an extremely laid back clean environment. Everyone is friendly and nice. They work extremely well with their artists under apprenticeships. Maralyn Hannah is the best Artist and a perfectionist. Her apprentice Jordan Chaney is incredible as well. I highly recommend this shop for tattoos and piercings.

I really loved my experience at Golden Dagger. I knew some of the staff that I liked from Inkd Revolution left and started their own shop. So, my loyalty was to follow them to Golden Dagger. The artist were nice and the atmosphere was very friendly. I like that they sell art from the artist as well. You can really show your support. Dalton Williams did my tattoo yesterday, and I am thrilled with the end product. Definitely go to Golden Dagger if you want a clean, friendly environment while you get incredible-quality tattoos.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Golden Dagger Tattoos and Piercings. The shop is very clean and inviting, and the people are extremely friendly and fun to talk to. The biggest plus for me as an artist myself, was that my tattoo artist (Maralyn Hannah) shows an obvious passion for art, on and off the skin. Her skill as an artist is incredible, and her skill as a tattooer is off the charts! I will definitely be back!

I had a tattoo done by Maralyn and I love it! She was able to piece together the elements I wanted as a remembrance tattoo for my grandmother. I couldnt be happier with how it turned out! Shop was clean and everyone was very friendly. Will definitely be going back and would highly recommend!

I honestly wouldnt even give this place a star. This place was horrible. Rude employees and did NOTHING to help me. I called perilously to going and shes like I can give you an estimate, we do walk ins or get an appointment. I was excited, but when I get there she was just standing there talking doing nothing for about 10 mins, couldnt give me an estimate because she cant quote others BUT yet told me others are all booked up till September...and then she said I might get lucky with a cancelation but no one ever does cancel. I was extremely disappointed, will tell everyone I know not to go there and just mad because this tattoo is for a loved one who passed and she didnt think twice about it.

I go see John for my piercings. He did both my daiths (daith...idk if making that plural correctly 😂)I really cant recommend him enough. I have some pretty serious anxiety and he always makes me feel comfortable and reminds me to breathe lolThe shop is beautiful and was immaculately clean. As I was waiting I saw them disinfecting stations etc. I was also greeted as soon as I walked in which I thought was really nice. Everyone was friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming and professional but not stuffy etc.GO SEE THESE PEOPLE!

Maralyn did a tattoo for me in honor of my mother. She captured my mother’s handwriting perfectly and did an amazing job on the picture i provided. She is an excellent artist and the work is quality unsurpassed.

My wife and sister-in-law both received tattoos. We have never gotten tattoos and not have to fill out forms. After tattoos was completed, no ointment was placed on tattoo, and area wasnt wrapped. Never had a tattoo that this wasnt done. Both tattoos are less than a week old and are very sore and irritated. The ink is even coming out. Well not return. Will get tattoo redone by a professional tattoo business

I got a memorial tattoo for my Nana from Maralyn. She did absolutely wonderful on it. She incorporated a few of her own ideas to it & it made it beyond perfect. I will definitely get another in the future.
