One of my favorite shops in Indy and the only place Ill go for piercings. Jess is incredible. They are super friendly and patient and excellent at explaining the while process from jewelry selection to after care. Todays piercing was a flat and Ive also have a daith piercing on my right ear that they did. Best experience and such an excellent selection. Highly recommend! I also have three Halloween flash tattoos from Cody that I absolutely love!

First off let me start off by saying Kate is the best tattoo artist in the Indiana dare I say the Midwest! She is original, authentic, and genuine to the bone. I have never felt more comfortable, safe, and respected in a tattoo shop than I did here at Golden Goose. If you are looking for a killer color tattoo look no further than Kate Schmelter! I would also like to add that Kate was so quick with my tattoo I didn’t feel like my body had quite the time to process any pain! So if you struggle with sitting still for along time like my fellow people with ADHD, I highly recommend Kate!

Jess is my go-to piercer, they are always super communicative, efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable! They did my third lobes, stacked lobe, and conch. All of my piercings have healed great and there is always a wide range of high quality jewelry to choose from :)

Jess has done all of my piercings since I was in college, Ive always and will always support them! Jess has walked me through all my piercings, reminds me to take deep breaths, when I told them I didnt want a count down and to just push the needle through, they did not even question it, they just pierced it and every piercing Jess has done for me, has been painless and have all healed beautifully because Jess explains after case, shows me the best after care supplies and has even sent me home with home samples before! Jess has also offered to order jewelry I like to keep in stock and for me to come pick up/they would change the jewelry out for me in my piercing.They are so knowledgeable, kind, experienced and easy to chat with.As far as tattoos, Ive had all my bigger pieces done by Spencer & Cody. They are both extremely nice, talented and will talk you through the process. I was able to take breaks when needed without being judged, able to make tweaks without annoyance, and able to comfortably get tatted! Everything was extremely clean, sterilized, neat and organized. I believe I was also offered free touch ups for my tattoos which is so nice for when ink fades throughout the years and nice knowing that Ill be able to see everyone who works here again without the commitment of a another tattoo or piercing (even though Jess could pursue me to get literally anything pierced)I have never had a bad experience with anyone who works here, theyre all great individuals who are knowledgeable, kind, and extremely talented. I will always support Golden Goose.

Jess was amazing! I took a trip over to Golden Goose after some folks on Queering Indy recommended Jess as a friendly, professional piercer. I really care about going to a professional piercer instead of stopping by just any tattoo shop and having a person who does piercing sort of on the side. Jess did a wonderful job re-piercing my vertical labret and Im so excited to come back to them for future piercings.Golden Gooses interior was very clean and inviting and Im also looking into their tattoo artists to book a session.Highly, highly recommend Golden Goose for anybody looking to get a piercing from Jess or a tattoo from their artists.

Went to Jess for my labret piercing and cant recommend her enough. Ive had many piercings but never had a lip piercing and had some questions/concerns a few days after my appointment. She was so responsive, helpful, and reassuring. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does and truly cares.

This has been my go-to shop over the last 2 1/2 months! It’s super clean, everyone is friendly, and the vibes are immaculate.Jadyn is my tattoo artist, and she has done a phenomenal job on my last four tattoos. She is willing to work with you to bring your vision to life, and she’s got a gentle hand when tattooing. Her rates are also reasonable!

I LOVE Jess and Spencer. Jess did my medusa piercing and spencer has done so many tattoos for me. i trust them implicitly! a clean shop, everyone is friendly and kind! all the artists are so talented and knowledgeable! best shop in indy for sure!!

I have been tattooed by Cody twice and pierced by Jess twice, and have nothing but good things to say about both of them! I was nervous for my first tattoo, but Cody made me very comfortable by answering all of my questions, and creating a beautiful original design! I was so pleased I got my second tattoo from him within a few months. Jess is not only a skilled piercer, but such a personable and fun person to talk to. They gave me a mid-helix piercing as well as my thirds on my lobes. I would definitely recommend both Cody and Jess for any tattoo or piercing needs. :)

I love Golden Goose! I travel from about 90 minutes away to see Jess (the piercer) every couple of months! They do gorgeous high quality jewelry, are so up-to-date and professional with making sure your piercing is safe and happy! They are so sweet and make me feel very welcome, especially as a queer, trans, autistic, disabled person. Jess is very focused on consent and explaining what theyre doing and being very patient, even when Im anxious or it really hurts. Ive gotten all of my jewelry switched by them to match each other from old piercings and new piercings. I have also been tattooed by Cody and hes great! Easy going, professional, kind, funny, and talented. I love my tattoos by him. The whole shop is inviting and comfortable and modern. I recommend anyone check them out!

Jess is the most friendly and professional piercer ive ever been to! theyve done most of my piercings and im definitely coming back for more! cody also has done a tattoo on me and omg! theyre both so skilled! definitely come here if youre anxious about getting pierced. jess will make you laugh so much you forget about the pain! id rate them more stars if i could!

I have been to this shop for a tattoo with Kate and I get compliments all the time! It was beautifully done and just what I wanted! It healed fantastic and Kate was super kind! I also recently got my ear piercing reopened with Jess, they were awesome! I also have sensitive skin and the piercing did not irritate it! Truly a great parlor and will definitely be back.

I’ve come here for about 3 years or so, and every single time I come, it’s always a welcoming and friendly experience. Cody and Jess are the best!!! They both made me feel super comfortable, and they are both masterful with their crafts. Cody tattooed the moth onto me. It looks like just what I envisioned in my own head! Jess also pierced my septum. They were so gentle and gave me so knowledge during the whole process. I will for sure be returning often!!!

Jess pierced me earlier today and they were extremely professional and I had a great conversation with them during my appointment.During the piercing they were super thorough about explaining the process and how everything was sanitized and clean.After they gave me good steps to keep it clean and make sure I wouldn’t get it infected.Extremely fair price for the professionalism and quality of the shop. I can’t wait to go back!

Went to Jess for a jewelry change for my nose. They are amazing and made sure I knew exactly what was going on. Ive had 11 piercings and they by far have been the best piercer Ive ever had do anything. Even though it was a just a simple jewelry change they were sure to clean it before using it. They also have AMAZING options for jewelry.

Ive gotten multiple tattoos from Cody and theyve all been gorgeous! He has a very light hand and is so respectful and comfortable to work with. Will definitely be coming back (again) in the future!!

I cannot recommend this shop enough! i’ve been tattooed by katlyn and spencer now and both did such an amazing job! i’ve genuinely never felt so comfortable in a shop. they’re all so kind, so inclusive, and so welcoming. their piercer jess was also so kind today, and i plan on seeing them for double nostril piercings soon! definitely plan on making this my go to shop for any new work

This is my 2nd time going to Jess for my piercings… let me tell you… I’ve never felt more comfortable and more satisfied with my piercings. They are absolutely amazing, always professional but they have a wonderful personality. I’ve gone to a few different piercers and each one I personally felt like they didn’t deliver what I asked nor paid for but Jess knows what’s up. They will give their opinion on what’s going to look best on you which I love! I’m definitely so happy and would recommend them to anyone :)

I went to Golden Goose yesterday to get my lobes pierced (doubles) and it was great! As someone with a slight fear of needles, my piercer Jess, made the experience amazing and it was even better than I had imagined. I will definitely be going back and recommend everyone go there too (for all of your piercing & tattoo needs). Jess is easy to contact and has aftercare and lots of other tips easily accessible on their Instagram so I always know what to expect before, during, and after getting my piercing.

I always have an absolutely amazing time at Golden Goose. Ive gotten two tattoos and one piercing done. Spencer and Cody both provided two of the best tattoo experiences Ive had-- Cody tattooed my knuckles, which is such a sensitive spot, and it went so quickly that I didnt have as much pain as I could have. Spencer did a pretty big tattoo on my forearm (matching with my husband) and always made sure both of us were comfortable lying down to be tattooed for such a long time. Jess is the best piercer Ive ever gone to, they make sure you always know whats going on, they help you choose jewelry thats best for you, and theyve given me a solid FOUR MONTHS of piercing healing advice afterwards because I have autoimmune conditions that make piercing healing unpleasant. Theres also a lot of really cool art in the shop and they all do their best to make it a welcoming environment for everyone!

I have known Jess for years and I have been going to them for alllll my piercing needs. They are so good at explaining the process, making you feel at ease and I’ve never been happier with someone taking care of my piercings. They did my flat with is my favorite piercing I have. I will never go to anyone else for piercings. I also get my tattoos done by Cody and Spencer and constantly get compliments on them. I got a piercing by Jess! The shops atmosphere and environment was overall welcoming, clean and super cute! I absolutely loved my experience with Jess they were so helpful and informative about the piercing process. I have had the pleasure of being tattooed by Cody a couple times. Each time he is professional, courteous, and such a blast to hang out with! His area is always insanely clean, and so is his work. I’ve never had the chance to be pierced by Jess, but they’re so sweet and funny, and will do everything they can to strike up conversation and keep you comfortable during your appointment. I got my navel piercing with Jess, and I was really nervous about it but they made the process easy! They really care about their clients and theyre very through about doing a good job. Everything was clean and they explained aftercare well for my piercing. I don’t regret going to them!

One of the best, if not the best tattoo shop in Indiana. There is a lot of talent here. Every artist is standout in their style and are all incredibly cool people. The shop treats the artists really well here too and its clear everyone here loves what they are doing.

I went for the Black Friday piercing deal and got my tragus pierced… Jess was amazing! So friendly and so helpful! They were willing to squeeze me in between appointments, which I really appreciated. Definitely recommend and I’ll be coming back for future piercings :)

Cody is an excellent tattoo artist - friendly, easy to work with, and great at his craft. I get complimented on the piece he did for me all the time! I booked another appointment with him almost immediately after the first piece. So great to see him now running his own shop!

Kate its absolutely amazing. I cant recommend her highly enough. The first time I had her work on me she fixed and finished a 15yr old tattoo that I was really unhappy with. Excellent work. 2nd time was something new.. Love love love. Shes welcoming and hilarious. All of the staff Ive met have been awesome.

I had knee frames done by Spencer. Hes very professional and accommodating! He took my hand drawn design, cleaned it up, and put his own neotraditional style to it! Theyre just over the itchy and peely stage, and theyre doing great! It tickles me pink to have these tattoos with me until I expire.I had a dogwood tree outside my bedroom window when I was a kid and I always loved when it blossomed every spring. Now, I can see pretty dogwood flowers all the time! Thank you Spencer for making it a great experience!

I have gotten 7/8 of my tattoos done by Cody, and he nails it every time. He is professional, clean, and an overall great artist. Its exciting to see that he finally has his own shop, and I will definitely be back!

I got a blue fern around my knee done by Cody. He had just opened his shop in Indy. He was super laid back and outgoing! Super easy to talk to! Everything was very clean and organized. His line work and creativity are awesome!

My tattoo artist was @entattery on instagram and I had a wonderful experience. I came in for two tattoos and the store was clean, her station was sanitized, and the artists there were incredibly professional. Not to mention, her line work was extremely clean (praying mantis & tooth) and her bedside manner was lovely. I also saw a customer walk out with a beautiful thigh piece by @codextattoos, so the artists at Golden Goose send out consistently good work. This shop is incredibly inclusive and we’re even selling stickers made by an immunocompromised artist to help support them during the pandemic. I’ve been a customer of Eliz for a while and I’m glad she’s chosen to work in such a wonderful shop :)
