INKSTINCT TATTOO

I was immensely impressed by the professionalism of the crew at Inkstinct. After being turned away at a couple other shops, they accepted me as a walk-in (walk-ins always welcome here). They made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in the door. Andre was down to earth, easy to talk to, and did amazing work for me. I highly recommend this shop, and Ill definitely be back!

Cheeto was awesome! I told him what I wanted but left the creativity to him and I absolutely love it! I cant wait to go back for my next tattoo!

This tattoo shop comes off as trustworthy because of the high reviews, nice setting, and quality photos but it doesn’t get more unprofessional than this!! I went in innocently wanting some new ink and decided to spontaneously try out the first drawing for a tat. I went with mostly black and some included colors in the detailing.The tattoo artist completely overworked and over shaded my tattoo for nothing! It went from a unique drawing to a disaster as you can tell by how it’s healing in the 3rd photo. It’s faded, painful, and ugly 2 WEEKS LATER. I even included a picture of my friends tattoo that went with me and hers is healing WRONG as well. I contacted them about this and they told me to come back once it’s fully healed and they’ll go over it again???? No offer of a refund or accommodation?? This is a VERY SADDENING experience considering I’m a young professional and this is permanent on my body. I wish I’d never came here…

Excellent service & great work & Cheeto is honest & will tell you what will look good or not esp on a cover up & not just try get few bucks off ya which cost more to fix in the long run. Highly recommend.

The artists were very polite and down to earth. They listened to our ideas and created a unique and special tattoo for my daughters first tattoo. He engaged in an appropriate conversation to keep her calm and comfortable. The prices are very reasonable and they take their time with details on the tattoos. I will be booking more sessions and recommendating others to them. 10/10

Great shop, great people. I needed a cover-up and really didnt have a clue how to make it work, but it turned out amazing! I was worried that it was going to be an emotional day for me but they kept me laughing through it all. So much talent at this shop! 1000% recommended and will be my new place to go!

Dont go here this is literally a typical scratcher studio, blew the hell out of my skin and literally traced the reference photo i gave them onto my skin (and somehow still tattooed it awfully? all you had to do was follow the lines?) The only good dude here is cheeto is what it looks like from the reviewsthe dude who tattoed me was really nice, i feel bad but like this dude should not be tattooing, you cant just steal other peoples artwork, and it genuinely just looks like i let a kid take a black marker to my skin :/Edit: the dude that replied to this review was the artist who blew out my skin 🤦‍♂️

I walked in with some questions, and I assumed I would make an appointment for a tattoo. Nope, Cheeto was ready to give me my first tattoo right then. He was very cool and did a phenomenal job! My tattoo is of my recently deceased dogs nose print. I couldnt be more happy with the outcome. I will be back for another tattoo.

So, my regular artist Ghost recently moved to this shop. I was due to get my work redone, as I spent some time in the sun this year. I had never been in this shop, but was pleasantly surprised. Clean shop, great deco, and friendly staff. I met Dre, the shop owner, and Cheeto, the shop manager. Nice guys, and killer artists in their own right. Stop into this place if you are on the Southside.

Came here and got this tattoo done last summer. Needed a touch up, but found out I was pregnant about a week after initially getting it done. I came back yesterday to get the touch up after having my boys in April and Andre was so kind as to not charge me for the touch up because of the circumstances. He did a fantastic job filling in the blue where it had cracked/faded. He also took his time making sure everything was clean/wrapped to protect me and his equipment. Extremely professional and personable. Will be coming here in the future for more ink when Im ready!

Cheeto did a beautiful, detailed black and gray dragon for me that I am so happy with. It fits well and flows with an existing nearby tattoo. Its a nice, clean shop, too. I highly recommend this place and artist for quality art you can be proud of. Thanks!

Walked in with an idea of a tattoo to commemorate the death of a close friend. Dre was quick to draw it up with a vague description from me that surpassed my expectations. They were very professional and hospitable. Had a good conversation the whole time. My wife and I will definitely be coming back for more work. Pricing was fair and the quality was phenomenal! My daughter and I walked in, showed what we wanted and was in the chair immediately! Everyone was extremely nice and so professional. The tattoo artist that did our tattoo was Sander and he did absolutely amazing! I will definitely be going back in the future!

Walked in and got new jewelry and my forward helix pierced. It was my sons first piercings. He got both Tragus done and Cheeto was great.

They were awesome. The tattoo artist who did my tattoo was great. He made me laugh and joked with me which helped a lot. My tattoo is way better than I ever thought possible. Definitely coming back for any future tattoos for sure.

They do take walk-ins, which I like. Thats rare for a tattoo parlor. It was clean, my piercing artist had a skilled hand and gentle touch. Id definitely go back for more piercings. The only thing I didnt enjoy was the huge wait. Over an hour. I ended up napping.

I came in middle of the week, wasn’t busy. I wanted snake bites and it was 90$ spent 110$ after tip and it was WORTH IT. Alot of times people who do snakebite will hit a vein or there’s some serious swelling after. I never experienced infection, swelling or bruising , AND NO PAIN to my lips when he did it, (I believe Carlos always ask for him) he was very clean and knew exactly what he was doing.

Came in for a walk in piercing and I was in and out! The place is super clean and very friendly❤️ definitely recommended!

First time at this location and I love my tattoo. Very clean with an open layout. The staff is friendly as well.. Andre did my tattoo. He was nice, professional, precise with his skills and efficient. I was shocked how quickly he was able to knock out my tattoo. I definitely will be back.

Great service! I just got my nose piercing done today. I was able to book the same day. Despite having issues with the internet to fill out the release form, I was in and out within 5 minutes.Pricing for getting a piercing is very cheap! I only paid $40 to get my nose done and that includes the jewelry expensive. I was very shocked. The two guys in the shop were also fairly nice! I will definitely be a returning customer for a future piercing or tattoo!

Cheeto did my first big piece at the tattoo expo in June and I just came into the shop for the first time to have Andre do a piece. The shop was clean and had a super cool setup! Will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend them if you’re in the Indy area.

I highly recommend Inkstinct Tattoo. Their artists care about their clientele. Sometimes tattoos don’t always hold all the color. For a ton of different reasons this could happen. I called the shop and talked with Carlos who did my tattoo. He told me to come in at my convenience and he’d fix it up. This is a customer centered business, that understands these things happen and wants to provide satisfaction for their clients. I respect and trust that. Southside Indy’s best keep secret! This place is a hidden gem. The artists at Inkstinct Tattoo are so talented. Carlos was very patient with me being indecisive and he helped me bring to life exactly the tattoo I wanted. He worked so quickly too! The artists were all so helpful and great to talk to. The vibes here are perfect. And it was spotlessly clean. 10/10 will be visiting again.

First time visiting this shop and everyone was so awesome! Was here for 8 hrs while Tony tattooed my friend. Got a piercing by Cheeto while I waited. He was so cool! The vibe in the shop was so fun. The music was great and everyone was friendly. It was like being at a friends house for a small gathering. Definitely can’t wait to go back!

To say Inkstinct Tattoo is amazing would be an understatement. Customer service is a huge priority to me when it comes to any business. I don’t ask for much; a smile and decent conversation is all I really need. When I first called the morning of 30 July, I was greeted by a very friendly voice. Andre was able to get me in within just a few hours. After arriving to the location I was greeted by two other gentlemen that work at the shop. I told Andre what I was wanting and in a short time he was able to get started. My bicep (half sleeve) was done by another shop, but I was unable to finish it at the location due to my crazy schedule. Two and a half hours later my sleeve was complete. It was the most relaxing environment and great to be with some of the best personalities to joke around with. Try to show up around 2-2:30 if you like the worlds best coffee. You may not even read this whole comment, but if you do, tell them the basic white girl sent you. You will not regret choosing INKSTINCT TATTOO.

If you want an amazing tattoo and laugh a bit and have an overall good time while you are there I highly recommend you visit Inkstinct. Dre is awesome and made me feel 100% comfortable in getting my back tattoo. I loved the other two guys there too they were funny and also were doing tattoos. Clean shop, very laid back, easy going and overall great guys! I am thinking of other tats just so I can go visit. :) I even went back a second time because I wanted to add a couple things to the design and Dre was more than happy to do so. Super friendly and fast at responding via email, I hate phone calls. Not sure why they arent booked up for weeks right now as they do amazing work. Thank you so much!

Aye check it out I just wanted to be spontaneous get a tattoo. Everyone I called in the area was already booked. I called Inkstinct they told me to talk to Carlos. Best experience I’ve had it’s only my third tattoo but I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone in Indy, Greenwood, Southport. Carlos appreciate your work man great job.

I got my nose piercing done here and it turned out really good. I had no issues with healing and looks great! Sister also got her septum here and it turned out great too. Both were done by Cheeto so i definitely recommend going here for piercings. :)

Joaquin did my hand tattoo and nose piercing. His work is perfect. He’s very gentle and provides great conversation. I would definitely recommend. This was my first time at this shop and I will, for sure, be returning.

Loved this shop! Professional, clean, friendly and serviceable to all your tattoo and piercing needs. Cory was absolutely fabulous with his tattoo talent and skills covering up scars on my neck!! When Cory was done I switched over to Cheetoh’s chair who pierced my septum like a beast! I literally did not even feel the needle! Cheetoh also tattoos and I was able to peep out his ink flow on another client (very well) as well as the boss fixing and covering a clients tattoo that desperately needed it 👌. Hands down go here!!!✌️& ♥️

I started off by telling the piercer that my septum was previously pierced ,that I could see where the old piercing was, instead of opening the hole that wasnt even closed to begin with(I just needed help getting jewelry through),he just pierced directly below it which was too low and a little far back from where I would like.He didnt really show it to me after I got done, so I saw it when i got home and ended up not liking it and went somewhere else for a second opinion and like I thought I just needed the old piercing reopened. so I have a second completely unesscessary hole in my nose that needs to heal. Way too expensive for careless,ugly work. He didnt listen to me at all.

I impulsively decided to get a nostril piercing last week and the crew was so awesome! I had to take off my glasses and honestly didn’t realize what was happening (I’m super blind), but the process was so quick and painless (yes-painless! Of course I have a high pain tolerance due to chronic illness and getting injections daily.) I shed a single tear out of fear but the guys made it very comfortable for me and talked me through the process. It’s so inexpensive and they’re much more professional then the people at the mall who did my ear lobe piercings at 16. I highly recommend them and will be coming back for more in the near future.

Stopped in for an out of the blue tattoo I wanted. Corey was my artist. Really nice and he was open to talking about whatever came to mind during my tattoo. Only thing that turned me off is that there was not a sketch done before hand. He heard my ideas and began drawing on my skin. Any changes I wanted he had to try and wipe away the sharpie. The tattoo is not 100% what I had in mind but thats the beauty of an artist is they make it their own. Im happy with my tattoo overall.

These guys were great! Totally knocked out the addition I wanted to add to an existing tattoo. Also Cheeto did an awesome job on my nose piercing. Clean, easy to talk to, and quality work.

We were in Indianapolis for the funeral of a family member this past weekend, and decided that we wanted small finger tattoos as a tribute to her. A total of 6 of us (3 generations) were tattooed by Cheeto. He was great: funny, caring, and personable, and he was so nice to our 77 year old aunt getting her first tattoo for her sister. The shop itself was very clean, had a nice waiting area, and we liked the playlist that was on. Pricing was as expected. Photo is of 5 matching tattoos and one finger with a pen drawing lol.

Got my daughters ears pierced here today and couldnt be more pleased. The place was clean and we were in and out quickly. My daughter is two and he took the time to explain every step to her and, even though she cried, she gave him a high five at the end. She doesnt even do that for the nurse that gives her shots, lol!

Cheetoo is amazing! I walked in expecting to wait a while but he got me right in. The atmosphere of the shop was so cool and comforting. I’ll definitely be back!

I found this place online. Then found there instagram page and the work was amazing. Got a elephant tattoo on my thigh. It came out beautiful. Chito is the best, very professional and amazing artist. The atmosphere was great I had a blast with him and Andres. Will definitely be seeing them again.

I just got a cover up at Inkstinct a few hours ago. I could not be happier. He did such a wonderful job (wish I got his name). He is also such a down to earth person. I have five tattoos and hes not shady and rude like some artists. I felt so comfortable. He listened to what I wanted. It was a cover up that I was told by another shop that couldnt be done. Well, Inkstinct did the coverup and made it better than I could have ever imagined. He is very talented. You dont have to pick one from their wall gallery, he actually knows what hes doing. He doesnt need to trace it, he does it freehand and does it well!! I will be going back for him to fix one I had done somewhere else and when I am ready for anymore, I will DEFINITELY be going back there!! Inkstinct Tattoo is AWESOME in every way....service, friendliness, cleanliness, atmosphere, and professionalism. Most of all I love my shoulder tattoo! Chito did a free hand design based on a picture I showed him. His first sketch was pretty, but not quite what I wanted and he willingly started over and made some suggestions and improvements on the design. He helped me with color options and never seemed annoyed by my indecisiveness. Best of all, he was not heavy handed when applying the ink so it did not hurt as much as Id expected it to. I would highly recommend this shop and Chito for tattoo work.

Cheetoo was very kind, professional, silly, and knew what he was doing. I got 4 piercings and they didnt hurt bad at all, and I was very happy with what I got.

Got my tounge done here 1st of all the price is crazy for a tounge 2nd he made it uneven & it turned my tounge purple then gonna say its cause it swollen i had my tounge done multiple time it never looked like this before just horrible
