Went in for a tattoo and belly button piercing, the tattoo part was great. Though when i got my belly button pierced i can’t remember the name of the piercer, but the she was super rushed didn’t ask if the markings were okay or not before she just went ahead and pierced it. Unfortunately it’s kinda crooked. But the tattoo artist Red did great.(add on) it has been a week now since I’ve had my bellybutton pierced and my bellybutton ring is fake and to my knowledge any new sternum piercing are meant to have a surgical steel, This one is clearly not and it is turning my bellybutton green It’s turning infected mind you i have been cleaning my piercing properly…I will be calling tomorrow to be getting my money back. any well skilled piercer would know this is not okay

I got my ears pierced by Ashley! She was very nice and professional. The process is easy and quick! It didn’t hurt she was very nice and sweet I would 100% recommend :)

DO NOT GO HERE. My tattoo is absolutely horrible, of course it hurt and I would flinch occasionally, but that SHOULD NOT excuse the fact that there are missing pieces from the tattoo, it’s crooked, and THE WRONG PARTS WERE FILLED IN BLACK. I will never go here again. Angela absolutely ruined my tattoo. Allowing people to come back there and show her photos on their phone, stopping my tattoo to pierce some girls who walked in, not paying attention, etc. Then when I went in there to talk about the issues with my tattoo, it’s like they blamed it all on me. This place is terrible and I just wish I could get my money back and my skin cut off.

Angela is the best and most welcoming tattoo & piecing artist I have ever met. She made my experience the first time so fun that I had to come back a second time trust and believe I will be stopping by more often to get my tattoo and piercing done by her

This review is not about the artist. I had a morning appointment with an artist I’ve gotten multiple pieces done from over the past year, but when I arrived at the shop, the locks had been changed and my artist wasn’t informed, therefore, we couldn’t go in. We were standing outside for around 2 hours before Angela came and let us in. Once we were inside, Angela proceeded to yell and berate the artist right in front of me instead of respectfully speaking to him in private. She also stated that she’s “not obligated to come in before 12”. It was incredibly unprofessional and I hope she reserves those kinds of talks to be had in private from now on instead of causing a scene in front of a client.

Pops did a phenomenal job to cover up my old tattoo. Very understanding, patient, and knowledgeable. He also reached back out to check up on the tattoo. Pops is a beyond a great tattoo artist! If I can do it all over again I would! Definitely, will be going back for some more cover ups. Awesome experience!

I just got three new piercings there and I had an amazing experience. The prices are great and the staff is both professional and very personable! I was super comfortable around the piercer Angela and the piercing apprentice whose name Im unfortunately forgetting, but she was awesome as well. HIGHLY recommend

Went to Angela to get my septum pierced last year, I had a wonderful experience and it healed amazing!! I also took my mom to get her eyebrow repierced, it had already rejected twice before when we had gone other places so we were really worried about doing it a third time but Angela redid it and gave my mom special care instructions and it healed amazing! My husband and brother in law have both also had their lobes pierced by Angela and those looked and healed awesome. We went today to get my friends bridge and nipples pierced, and I also got my third hole on my lobes. I just keep going back for more because I feel so welcomed and comfortable. Ive had a tattoo done here before as well, Pops is the best. I love Cats, by far my favorite shop. Love yall!!

Pops, is hands down one of the best tattoo artist in Texas. He has the ability to work with your ideas and turn it into something beautiful and doesn’t mind tweaking it to better suit your body. I could rave forever on Pops and the organization as a whole, the whole team is friendly and family like. Highly recommend going if your looking into an amazing place for your first tattoo or wanting an excellent piece in general.

The heavy set man is so rude. He wanted me to pay $100 for a name tattoo (6 letters) at the time he did not know i already have over 9 tattoos so i feel like he thought he was going to get over on me not knowing I’m pretty aware of how pricing a tattoo works. And then AS he is tattooing me, he keeps bringing up how $100 is not bad and how i should’ve just paid the $100 THE WHOLE 15 MINUTES it took for him to tattoo me. I will never be back to this place, horrible customer service and i felt so out of place.

Heard about them thru some friends. And I was told about the valentines special so I decided to go. I’ve been wanting to get my ears filled and tell whoever to go crazy with it and mrs. Angelia did exactly that. She was very understanding with me having to leave mid- appointment to take my friend to work but when I came back it was a breeze. I clenched onto little chucky and go thru it granted we only did one ear today. I love the way my ear came out. The only pre existing piercings I had are my 2 lobe piercings

I had my tatt done by Pops 11/1.. I told him what I wanted & he did not disappoint. I can actually read what the tattoo says. I absolutely love it & I cant wait to get more ink done by him. Professional, clean establishment, reasonable price. No complaints. Highly recommend.

I came here upon recommendation, and sadly wish I never had. I went to Joel for two simple tattoos and was not happy whatsoever with the way they turned out. His lines were very crooked and his color strayed outside the lines numerous times and it was spotty in areas. He didnt seem to take his time at all and I felt he was rushing himself way more than he should have. I was so unsure about getting it fixed by him I went to my regular girl to have them touched up properly. Whether he is an actual quality artist or not, every tattoo is individual and he didnt take mine seriously at all.

My friend and I got a few piercings done and Angela did amazing 10/10 recommend she was fast, clean and answered all our questions. she made us feel very comfortable and they came out great. will go back again!

I just do not think my tattoo was worth what I paid. I like it but it was so expensive for something small and only black and white. It was just at a convention in another city.

I got my nose pierced last night (4/11/21) by Angela and not only was she super sweet but she made me feel super comfortable. I had a great experience here with Angela! She did my nose piercing for me and was very professional and kind. It was also super affordable, very clean, and every guest was wearing a mask. I only have them 4 stars though because staff was not wearing masks. There could be a perfectly good explanation for this, but maybe explaining that to the customers would be good. A friend recommended Angela for my nostril piercing and out of the 12 piercings I now have I have to say she did the best job! Amazing pricing! And she was super friendly and helpful. Me and my husband have gotten out last four tattoos with Angela, and everytime they come out amazing! She gives exceptional pricing for work she could charge way more for! The tattoo I had done yesterday, had me acting like a baby cause it was on my chest, ribs and breast. But she was so patient and understanding of my pain. Only giving a 1 because I cant give a 0. Got piercings done by Angela. They were great the first day and then I started to have an allergic reaction which no one would have known. I went in to have her take them out and she laughed at me told me I was stupid and was wasting my money. They were red, itchy, swollen and hurt so bad. My throat had started to close and I had to go to the er. Angela told me the er doctor was lying saying it wasnt an infection and I just needed bigger jewelry. She then charged me to take them out. I left the shop crying and feeling absolutely humiliated and embarrassed. I was in pain and for her to laugh and tell me I was stupid and it was a waste of money and a medical professional had lied to me was over the top. I do not recommend this shop to anyone. Very very unprofessional on how she took care of the situation.

Went to get my septum pierced again and I have 100x a better experience than when I got my septum pierced the first time. The first time I got my septum pierced, it was too low and starting to rip through my septum. I also had a very painful piercing experience. I went to another piercer and they advised me to remove the piercing and let it heal before getting it redone. This time I experienced little to no pain during the piercing process. And the piercer was very knowledgeable about piercing and great at keeping me calm throughout the process due to my first experience. I recommend her to anyone who ho is looking to get a piercing. She will be honest about placement and health issues that might arise.

I came here to get my nostril and septum pierced. I wouldnt recommend this place for someone who has never had piercings before. I gave it a 3 stars simply for the piercers etiquette. I sat down, and she asked which side I wanted. I told her the side opposite to the one I already had. She marked it and immediately pierced it without having me check for placement. So the new one is not even to the one I already had. Then she went in and clamped my septum without checking for the sweet spot. It slit in easily without pain so I’m assuming it’s placed correctly and luckily it’s pierced straight. Maybe she’s just experienced enough to know exactly where it’s at even though everyone’s anatomy is different. She didn’t ask me to take a deep breath or walk me through what was happening, she just did it. She was clean, and I’ve not had problems with the healing, but again I wouldn’t recommend for someone whose new to piercings or nervous. 3 stars simply for the lack of etiquette.

My god. customer service? nope. by the time i called off a jewelry change my nose is hurting and my jewelry is probably ruined and still not threaded right. they sent someone clearly inexperienced instead of just letting me know they were busy. then, didn’t apologize when it was done incorrectly, painfully, and incompletely, and acted offended when i only paid them $10 which is twice the amount of a complete and quick jewelry change. i’ve had good work done at cats before, but i will not be returning.

This place is so awesome, Angela is the best piercer you can ask for. She had another female there with her that was super good. I would recommend this place to anyone for tattoos and piercings. Prices too are the best in area.

He has plenty of patience and works with you, making sure you get exactly what you want; and it came out better than I could’ve thought. Store is clean and well organized with a friendly atmosphere, the staff are incredibly nice and help as best they can. Def coming back here for future tattoos.

I got a tongue piercing from Angela today, watching back the video of the piercing it was pierced incorrectly. She used the clamps and marked the middle of my tongue, the clamps were never on the mark she made. My piercing came out very uncentered and bloody. Usually a tongue piercing is supposed to be pierced straight up, coming out through the marking on the other side. My piercing was pierced slanted. I’m currently going to another piercer to get an okay if I should keep it in. I don’t understand the point of marking the center and then completely avoiding it. Then to not put the clamps where the mark is and put it lower… makes no sense. I bled for like 10 minutes.In response: She completely forgot about us and thought we had already left then moved on to her next customer. Angela provided no aftercare instructions. At that point it was either take it out and get it repierced by Angela. I’ll just go to another professional to get their opinion on if it’s safe for me to keep.

I’ve been in Killeen a little over a year and had Charles Chapman at Cats Custom do a few of my tattoos and I will not stray elsewhere. He is reasonable with his pricing, and immaculate with his work. The environment is comfortable and stylish. I love all my tattoos I’ve received there and recommend them to everyone! Charles is diligent with his work, honest, and down to earth. Completely everything you look for in an artist you’re trusting with your skin. So I went in to see Angela. Let me tell you this shop was a trip. I walk in and the vibe is cool laid back everyone was friendly. Angela was knowledgable answered all my questions and reassured me. Well I get in the chair and I asked he daughter to talk me through the piercing cause Im a big baby.It was a good experience even though they were all dressed up as clowns. It makes for another great story.

I scheduled an appointment here with Matt. We met for a consultation and then we scheduled two sessions. The day of the first session he messaged me to say he was injured and couldnt make it but we would make it up on the 2nd session. I was understanding.2nd session came and I tried to message him to confirm our appointment and I got no response. I went to to the tattoo shop and he wasnt there. After a few hours his assistant messaged me and said it was her fault, he was quarantined, and she was supposed to inform me.At this point I had wasted my time and deposit so I just tired of this. She offered to refund my deposit which I agreed too. It was over, Ill get my tattoo elsewhere some other time. But then 3 days later, Matt is on his way to Arizona. What happen to your quarantine?UNPROFESSIONAL!

Charles is AMAZING! Me and a friend came in for a different artist For tattoos my friend paid upfront (420$ plus a 100$ tip)for his for the whole tattoo and only got a outline done and I paid for a deposit and the guy took our money and ran! Names Brandon Kendall don’t trust him! Anyways we came to the show and told them what had happened and Charles gave me my tattoo for half the price and fixed my friends tattoo and finished for free!! This place is the most honest and customer first tattoo shop I’ve come across. I will defiantly get all of my tattoos from here. They are trusting honest and caring for their customers and make sure you’re 100% happy without taking your money first.

I got a tattoo done by Pops back in 2020. It was a very rough time in my life and I wanted something to represent me getting through it. Pops not only brought my vision to life, but the detail is just so effortless and beautiful I love Pops and because of him I have something to always remind me that I can get through it, new beginnings and leaving a toxic past behind.

I went in, two weeks ago to get a septum piercing. It was such a horrible experience that I almost didnt want it done. She pierced it crooked and screwed my nose up causing a lot of scar tissue. I had to go to La Rudes to see Chris to have it taken out. She used the clamps and still managed to mess up. The piercing came detached from the receiving tube and she proceeded to continue to push the jewelry in a bunch of times without success. She ended up being able to get an eyebrow ring in and it looked stupid. When I came back and explained to her it was crooked she said she didnt know why and there was nothing she could do. She pierced through my septum which she was not supposed to do. Never go here. Chris at La Rudes was amazing. I will definitely go back for more. It didnt hurt at all with him and he was so quick.

I highly recommend Angela for tattoos and piercings! Shes done one tattoo on my leg that came out beautifully and did my cheek dermal as well. Shes fast, knowledgeable and professional.

Im pretty sure when I received my nose piercing it was pierced through the fatty part of my nose meaning it would never heal and if it were to, it would take forever. After calling and speaking to the piercer the same day and told her that it was crooked she responded with I pierced it so that it would be more prominent. That doesnt answer my question as to why it was pierced crooked. ALSO, out of all my piercings my nose has never bled for nearly five minutes. It was gauged with the jewelry after the initial struggle of getting the needle in. Moral of the story you guys need a piercer thats going to do right instead of taking customers money for the hell of it. By the way have your piercer wash her hands after taking money then moving forward to jab a needle in someones nose.

Angela did my dermal. I was scared but she talked me through it. It was also my first one ever. She did an awesome job! Shes very personable! I recommend her above everyone else.

Angela, who pierced my nose pierced my nose, a bit too low because my hoop sits a bit lower than the other hoop piercing. I’ve had years prior.

I first heard of CATS Customs tattoo from Matts Instagram. Saw his work and contacted him right away. After I visited him at the shop, he was busy tattooing somebody that didnt matter. I sat for a minute and answered all my questions. I made an appointment a week out. On a Sunday. They are closed on Sunday but they still opened the shop for customers. The shop is very clean with some real nice staff. They are very aseptic to avoid any infection. Overall a great place to get a tattoo. Ill definitely be back to finish up my full sleeve done by Matt. Went into the shop with my sister for a consultation on matching tattoos. We were very specific on what we wanted and the type of style we wanted. Matt Matautia was able to sit down with us, go over our design, and add his own little touches to it. He understood the Tribal/Polynesian design that we wanted and made sure we were 100% satisfied. Mind you, we only went in for a consultation, but because it turned out to be perfect, we just had to get it done. Matt was very focused and professional and kept his work space clean and sterile. My sister & I walked out extremely happy and excited to rock our new tatts.If anyone is looking into a Tribal/Polynesian design, look no further. Matt will deliver! Looking forward to future sessions.

For my very first tatt glad I went to go see Matt who did an amazing job on both me and my sisters matching tattoo. For anyone who is interested in getting a poly tattoo, this guy knows and understands the meaning behind tribal, I learned a few things from him which was awesome. I went in for the free piercing and was letting my 13 year old get her nose pierced! They refused to accept my id as the parent consenting!!! And they wanted to see my daughters id, which again she is 13 and I dont get my kids ids until they are 15....with I will never come here again nor will I give them a good referral!

UNPROFESSIONAL.. I came in for a piercing at 1:30..they were busy I made an APPOINTMENT at 8:00pm showed up early & they said can I come back at 10:30 Or tomorrow…noo I waited all day! Will not do busy here ever!

Pops (Joel) was amazingly accommodating. I came in a little last minute and he still took me in as a customer. He brought my tattoo to life that meant so much to me. I’ll definitely be visiting again soon!

Myself, my daughter and my sister, were in from out of town settling affairs for my dad and setting up hospice, we are glad that an appointment with a place down the road didn’t work out, because in the end we felt st home and important while getting matching tattoos in dads honor. I got my first tattoo with them (half sleeve) during the Tattoos Convention here in San Antonio last weekend. “Bone” was the artist. I gave him a thought, a view, and some references, and he made a work of art...pretty awesome...everyone (even people I know that don’t like tattoos) give me compliments for how nice it came out...highly recommended!!

Don’t get your nose pierced here, sure it’s cheap but Angela did it way too low and didn’t even try to find my sweet spot. It bled for nearly 15 minutes.

So, Bones is amazing. He did my knuckles EXACTLY how I wanted them...exactly! But, Im going to tell you my experience with this shop.I walk in and speak to Chapman and tell him that I had called about wanting to get my knuckles done and Angela had told me to come in. The first thing he told me was, You know its going to fade right? Yeah, Im tracking, I also have my feet done, and some parts have faded, doesnt mean I dont like it, doesnt mean I wont retouch it later. Good, because I dont do no touchups or nothin. Then he continues on about how getting knuckle tattoos arent the best. Well, OK, oh well. I asked the price, knowing itd be a short session and Id probably pay the hourly rate. He told me that hed do it for $100 but itd probably be better to go to Bones, who was the only one in the shop tattooing anyone, would do it for $50. Then, he had to add in the comment, because I dont really do script because people arent books. OK, well I have 9 tattoos AND EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM ARE SCRIPT, but thanks for your irrelevant opinion that I never asked for.I was there on time, and I come in and Im pretty friendly with them all. Chapman immediately when he sees me, tells me that #1 Im not going to like it in a couple of days, #2 Im going to regret it, and #3 Its not a smart idea... After the third one, I reply Well, what do you want me to do? Walk out of here with my money because thats what I can do. Youre not even tattooing it, youre not the one being tattooed, thanks. And I was done. I cannot believe this business allows this man to work here, because just after that I was done, I would not do business at this shop ever again.But it gets worse, we are halfway through, finished with one hand and Bones takes a break. When he comes back, Chapman and Tomas follow and Chapman starts shaking his head. He tells me literally MID TATTOO, youre not going to like it in a couple days, then shows me what looks like a basement tattoo on his knuckles, that I can still clearly read, but yes has faded a little bit, that he said Three days later fell off. OK, thanks? Thats exactly what I want to hear while Im spending money at your establishment. Thats like a waiter telling me, midmeal, Hey, you may get sick later, I dont think it was a good idea to order the fish. How is this even allowed? I tell him, Well, its exactly what I wanted, so I like it and its on MY hand, so it really doesnt matter if you like it, it doesnt matter if anyone else likes it, it matter if I like it. Just to add a cherry on top, Bones starts on the new hand, and I just remind him to go back to one letter and make it a little thicker. Chapman, who is still hovering for whatever reason, says, I thought it was exactly what you wanted? Yeah, this man has HORRIBLE customer service skills and I dont even want to enter the shop if hes in there.Whats crazy is that of the both times I have been inside that shop, Bones has been the only one working the entire time. If hes losing customers because the other artist cannot keep his mouth shut, thats ridiculous. I will be meeting up with Bones again to retouch the tattoo FOR FREE to make sure everything is right and stuck.... But on a day when Chapman is not there, or at another shop, because this establishment has lost me completely.

Ive been coming to Tomas Salinas for 2 years. All my work has come out excellent and I get stopped all the time with people asking where I have gotten it done. The shop itself has been renovated recently and offers a professional environment while also allowing for privacy where needed. The atmosphere of CATS is very laid back and relaxing. Everyone cares about each piece whether theyre the artist or not. I live in Austin and still make the trip out to Killeen for any work I or my friends need done. Prices are more than fair for the quality and all work is guaranteed. Even if you get stuck in the field day after you get tattood and something happens to your piece, theyll fix it right up.

So I met Charles when he came up to colorado for a covention. Not only he was honest, and his work was amazing from what I could tell from his portfolio. He ended up doing a custom sock that is just amazing. Then when he was done with that he started working on my thigh with a custom Odin piece. VERYY UNPROFESSIONAL! I booked with Angela and she didn’t have the spot I needed available so I wasnt able to get anything done, and I had already paid for everything thorough cashapp and she called me cursing me out saying I was not getting a refund after I had been polite to her!

Went in for repiercing on both nostrils only need one re pierced, although charged for both end results made a different hole, now I have a bigger piercing then before reason I had closed so I can redone to fix first mess up if fix will be 3rd time fixed …

If I could give no stars then I would!!! Literally just came from this shop. Walked in the door and it sounded off letting them know a customer had walked in. I could hear conversation in the back. Waited five minutes before ringing the bell on the desk and still no one came to greet me. Will be taking my business elsewhere.
