My tattoo artist Vegas is an incredible artist. He specializes in black and white art, and he is super willing to work with my ideas. His tattoo design is flawless. So far I have gotten 4 tattoos from him and all of them have healed perfectly. Vegas did my first and second tattoos and did an amazing job! his work is very clean and quick, but absolutely beautiful. i highly recommend him! not only is he a great artist, but the shop has a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. i will definitely be getting the rest of my tattoos here.

My aunt, daughter, and I were having a girls day and wanted to get new piercings. Jade was amazing. She was so friendly and She took her time making sure we were happy with everything. Nadia was also great when my daughter lost a ball on her jewelry. She took her right back and replaced it. She also gave us great advise to help with the healing process. The entire atmosphere was so welcoming. I know we will be repeat customers for future piercings.

We were in town from Tennessee visiting my cousin who’s in the Army. We called and scheduled an appointment for all 4 of us to get matching tattoos. We couldn’t have picked a better place to spend most of our day at. Fern was great and the entire atmosphere of the shop is amazing. My daughter got her ears pierced. The young lady that helped us was so patient, professional, knowledgeable and meticulous about her technique. The shop is clean and organized. The artists are friendly, and the vibe of the shop is so cool!!!

I contacted this shop for a cover up tattoo on my hand. They responded quickly and Alex asked me to come in so he could get a better idea of what was being covered. He gave me several ideas on what would look good and we settled on one, then we discussed my crazy work schedule and we were able to set an appointment so I would have the most healing time before I had to work. I have several tattoos from different artists and different shops, this was the first time anyone considered my work schedule and healing time when setting an appointment. Alex was great during my tattoo session and everyone was super friendly. I’m so happy with the work he did and with how clean, professional and friendly this shop was!!! I will be calling on them, especially Alex, for all my tattoos. Cannot wait for my next ink therapy session.

Recently, I walked in unsure of the type of design or anything that I wanted. Only an idea I walked in with and walked out with a masterpiece, thanks to artist: Vegas Hustle. He squared me away and gave me an unforgettable, well-detailed art piece to remember my late grandfather with, 10/10 recommend. Will be back soon, for sure.

This is an amazing tattoo shop. They made me feel super comfortable and welcome. Everyone was super nice. I got 2 tattoos in one day a few hours apart. When I returned for my second, they welcomed me back like we were old friends. I highly recommend it. I live 8 hours away. I was visiting my son at the army base. I would drive all the way back to get another tattoo from anyone in that shop.

I went here to get my nose pierced, there was lots of scar tissue because piercers have been having a hard time line it up symmetrically to my other face piercings. Nadia was amazing, she was so fast and made sure a million times that I liked the placing. She was so sweet got the needle through like cutting butter. Very quick and painless. The whole vibe of the shop was great. Music was great, welcoming environment, aesthetically pleasing and most importantly sanitary.

I had my Tattoo done by Vegas, Let me just say how phenomenal this man is.. I had an appointment scheduled on Friday for 6pm and due to a horrible accident I did not make that appointment, I was literally crushed and he was 100% booked. He managed to squeeze me in Today and was willing to stay open after closing to do my tattoo. I am truly in love with my tattoo and he did an amazing job. He went at it non stop for four hours straight. I highly recommend him as well as this shop in general for all your needs, very clean, sterile environment with plenty of good people around to laugh with and enjoy some music while your getting worked on.. I will definitely be coming back to Vegas for more work

I came in last week with two ideas and ended up speaking with Chuy. I told him my ideas and that I couldn’t figure out how to make them into one design. He explained why my ideas wouldnt turn out as I expected and suggested I do a quarter sleeve to get all the details that I wanted. I’m so glad that I trusted him because I ended up with an AMAZING piece that is so detailed and even better than what I was imaginging! I was nervous because I hadn’t gotten a tattoo in a long time but he made me feel comfortable and checked to see how I was doing periodically throughout the session. I also ended up getting an industrial piercing and she did a great job too. I would definitely recommend Chuy and Familia Ink for any of your tattoo/piercing needs.

I went to this shop for a second hole in my ear and the Main piercer pierced me way too close to the other hole. I can’t even wear my small flower stud without running into the other hole. Disappointing.

Alex did such an amazing job. He took some ideas we found and customized it to become a perfect piece! Couldn’t be happier with the results! Not to mention the shops atmosphere is awesome and inviting!

My husband and I came in on a Thursday evening just to see if they would take us as walk-ins & right away we were greeted and paired up with an artist.Arthur did my butterfly/flower and Alex did my husbands quarter sleeve…. As a heavily tattooed person, this place hits. We came in as walk ins and ended up coming back with friends a couple of days later for more work. Everybody is super nice and fun. The shop is clean and really cool. I believe Yoan and Vegas were the two that did mine, but my husband also got work from Alex and Fern. Safe to say skip the rest. They’re the best.

Got my septum and my other nostril pierced, they were absolutely terrific. they made sure everything was lined up perfectly with my first nostril and its perfectly symmetrical. lovely people as well, great atmosphere. definitely will return if I get more piercings.

My son highly recommended I go to Vegas at Familia Ink for the two tattoos I wanted. Vegas was not only pleasant to work with, he was funny and knowledgeable while assisting me with the designs I wanted. I didn’t feel rushed as we discussed the tattoos and I felt comfortable about the placement as Vegas made sure the tattoos were lined up correctly. Super awesome staff, got my tattoo of Akali from League of Legends done by Ferny (not to mention I was a walk-in and god I’m lucky I chose to come). Couldn’t be happier and already scheduled a session to get it filled in with color. Really professional environment, these guys know what they are doing. Not to mention they don’t try to upsell you or anything. They want your tattoo to look as good as you think it will in your head and it shows in their work. Would rate higher if I could.

First off, I want to say everyone in there is super friendly. Secondly, I just recently got a half-sleeve done on my forearm by Chuy. The amount of detail that went into and the dedication that when into design and the application of the tattoo made my first tattoo experience enjoyable and shows how much he cares about his profession and making sure you got what you want. Im currently waiting for the bottom half to heal and then going back to him finish the upper half. He is going to be my go to person to get my future tattoos done. Overall, the friendless and quality of work that was done was outstanding

La Familia is a good tattoo parlor to go to if this is your first tattoo or just someone who wants more tattoos. Its clean, the people there are very nice and chill, and reasonable on prices. I got my first tattoo there and went back to get another one, shout out to Alex and Vega who did their work on me, great people and amazing art. Just wanna throw out a shout-out to their employee Vegas. I went in expecting to have to schedule a appointment, but he was able to get me in a few hours. Normal artist would take more than a few hours to get the tattoo finished that I wanted. It only took Vegas half the time. He did amazing work and great price! Just got my 9th tattoo done by Vegas and it’s my favorite so far! He helped me decide on different aspects of the piece and made sure I was happy with it before starting up. I have used this tattoo shop multiple times artist Vegas Hustle is who I always go to, always does exactly what I ask to perfection great artist great person. He is very light handed recently got my knee caps done and felt very minimal pain. Love the culture of the establishment and the artist do great work.

Todays experience was amazing. We were very nervous in getting our 6 yr old daughters first ear piercing. The lady At the front desk (forgive me with all the excitement I forgot her name) was amazing And professional. She answered all my questions and took her time with our daughter. She was so nice and welcoming that we knew our daughter was in good hands. Her and her partner did the piercings in both ears at the same time. They did so good , our daughter barely flinched. Great job and great place. We definitely will be back for ourselves.

A friend suggested that I see Vegas and let me tell you it was a great suggestion. Vegas was super helpful, did a great job with the art, and really made my vision come to life. I came into the shop and we got right to work, everything was clean and fast but not feeling rushed and I honestly couldn’t be happier with how my tattoo turned out. I will be coming back for my next one. I definitely recommend seeing Vegas if/when you go in!

I’ve come to see the artist *Vegas* twice now! He’s super friendly, great prices, and his work is amazing! Nose ring. On the spur of the moment I decided to get my nose pierced which is something Ive been wanting to do but couldnt because of my job. My friend told me to look up tattoo places. I did a Google search and several places in the area came up. I did my research...read all the comments and decided to come here because they had great reviews on nose piercing. Cody did mine and he was very nice, very professional and made me feel really comfortable. It stung a little but I was expecting more pain. Cody was great but I have to say from the time I walked in to tell the young lady what I wanted and pay to when I left... the staff was really sweet and it was a warm and friendly atmosphere there. I will definitely be back to see about getting a tattoo next. 😁

I have had such an amazing experience at the familia tattoo shop. FERN was such an amazing tattoo artist, very passionate about his work and overall his patience is unmatched! I can’t compare his work to anyone because is soooo unique, neat and most of all LIGHT HANDED which is very rare. I will rate this experience a 100/10.

Got my first tattoo in a long time and loved the shop! Everyone there is so nice. Fern worked with me even though I changed my mind more than once on what I wanted. Very spur of the moment as my sister went in for a piercing and decided on a tattoo as well which turned into me wanting one too lol. 10 out of 10 recommend this place! I did have quite a bit of bleeding/plasma at the feet but thats cause the coloring I wanted so he explained exactly what to do and how to change/care for it so this is a photo right after I removed the original film and washed it! I messaged Chuy silva on facebook, he responded quickly and was ready to come up with ideas on how to design my first tattoo, that same night we book an appointment. i went in and he did an amazing job, very steady hand and he definitely knows his stuff, zero issues at all, i’m 2 weeks in my healing process and he still checkes in to see how the healing is coming on. definitely going back there for my second one soon. he’s also very fair on price.definitely does quality work.

Came here on a recommendation from a friend to get my septum pierced. Cody was the gentleman who did my piercing and he was THE BEST piercer Ive ever had. Cody did my left cartilage and repierced my nostril. It was almost painless and no bleeding at all. I almost reconsidered getting them until he performed the piercings. He is extremely gentle, easy going and highly skilled. I highly recommend Cody for newbies and veterans getting piercings.

Had a tattoo done by Chuy Silva. He was professional, punctual and worked with me to get the perfect design chosen and done. He chose adding more detail and doing a fantastic job over a speedier option to create awesome art. Seems like a perfectionist which is definitely a good thing when it comes to tattoos. Walked me through aftercare and talked about future ideas for future pieces. Definitely going back, they all seem like good artists.

Vern was my tattoo artist! And he did AHMAZING!! So much detail and the time and patience he had while doing it? SPECTACULAR! Cody was my piercer and he was super gentle and explained everything about how the process would go and made sure I was okay and calm from start to finish! This is the only place to go in Killeen!

I went to get my nose pierced about three weeks ago at this building’s new location. It was good and affordable . 30.00 for my piercing , the man who did my piercing make it fun he was making jokes to get my jitters out and was really sweet and professional the entire time. After he finished my piercing he gave me clear good instructions on what to do told me to make sure I call the building if I have any questions. And just made the entire experience good.

Great welcoming atmosphere, prices, and artists. Without going into details, what separates this place from others is they truly do embody the family vibe. Received two amazing tattoos from Vegas. He was very patient, diligent, passionate, and professional. Will get more in the future.

My husband and I both visited Familia Tattoo about 2 weeks ago. Our experience was absolutely wonderful. My artist was Fernando and my husbands was Noe. They both were very professional and their overall performance was 150%. We were treated very well and would not go anywhere else. Our tattoos are healing very nicely. We already have plans to see Fernando and Noe in the near future. We also give a huge shout out to Marlena. Very respectful and sweet lady. Ashley was amazing, she was comforting and very fast when she did my piercings. She was also reassuring because one of my piercings I was getting for a second time. I will definitely be returning for my next piercing.

Would give 10 stars if I could. I got my nipples pierced today by Ashley and it was amazing. She was so nice and patient and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable one bit . I’ve been here 3 times for a piercing ( tongue, medusa , and now nipples) and everytime was an amazing experience. Definitely recommend!

My friend and I came here as a going away gift. We both got our nose pierced. I don’t remember who I had, but he was amazing! He was very polite and he walked both of us through everything, made sure we were okay. I will definitely come again!

Professionalism is a 0. Called at 5pm thankful that they said they could get us at 10pm with Carlos. Now mind you its a Saturday night already arranged plans to be here, get here on time and they say oh we tried calling and texting you and no one answered well i asked to see the phone call because we had no missed call or text message but he said he couldnt do that. Then he said he booked another appointment on top of ours. 0 professionalism. Never received a missed call oh i can schedule you the following Sunday no i will go somewhere else. Complete disregard to customers schedules. Not once did we have a miss cal we literally scheduled it 4 hours ago. Glad this happened so I dont spend our money here, who knows how the tattoo wouldve looked.

I have been in 3 times, once to get double lobes, and two other times for my industrial piercings. I believe the piercers name was Gunner and she is super friendly, sweet, and amazing at her job. Ive been in and out within 10 minutes, I do recommend scheduling an appointment though because it can get pretty busy. The shop is extremely clean, so never worried about that and they use good quality equipment on their clients. I believe the piercings are fairly priced especially since they supply basic jewelry and it turns out amazing. Also, the paper work for minors (they only pierce minors 16+ besides lobes) does not take that long so thats nice and convenient. Overall its a great atmosphere and I will definitely be finishing my ears there, and my tattoo when Im 18😁😁

Gunner was amazing! I took my daughter to get her 3rd piercing and Gunner walked her through the process of taking care of them and her old piercings as well. We will definitely return to her!

If I could rate higher than 5 stars I absolutely would! This Tattoo Shop is unlike any that I’ve been to and is definitely the absolute best than any other within the area. Veteran friendly and all around welcoming when you come it you feel welcomed. Vegas did excellent work on my tattoo and highly recommend him for any piece you need! For as long as I’m here in Texas this is the only place I will get tatted. I highly recommend! You will not be disappointed when you come here!

Got my rook and Tragus pierced by Cody. By far the best piercer I’ve had so far. He helped me with my conch that was pierced at a Gauge that was too big by another piercer and he changed the jewelry out He was so sweet and super funny and comforting. The piercing was painless and aftercare was explained very well. Best piercing shop I’ve been to. 15/10. I would definitely be back if I didn’t live 2 hours away. I’ll be back next visit. I got my first tattoo here and the receptionist was so kind and the Artist Chuy was very honest about where to get my first tattoo which helped me. The best part is that he had a light hand so it didn’t hurt ( I knocked out ). I appreciate this place and plan on flying back to Killeen to get my second one from Chuy.

Last weekend I got a piercing done by Jade and it was hands down THE best experience Ive had. This is the 3rd time Ive gotten this specific piercing but the first time I went to her. I made an appointment after speaking with Vegas and he asked my budget and got me below budget by alot. He also was able to move me up when he had an opening which was very helpful. Ive never got a tattoo before and didnt know anything about the process price or care for afterwards. He helped me through all of it including explaining the needle to me since I told him I dont like needles and made it very pleasant to be there. Music was awesome and the atmosphere was perfect. The whole shop is professional and clean. Everyone is nice and wants to help you get the perfect tattoo. I recommend Vegas because he cares and wants you to be happy. He doesnt care about the money solely he wants you to be happy. Overall I am very pleased and will be returning for the rest of my tattoos (including coming back from wherever Im taken by the army).

Vegas is the most reasonable and fair tattoo artist in Killeen. When it comes to pricing and Quality he is going to set a price that is fair for you and fair for him. I have received multiple tattoos from Vegas over at Familia Ink and he always does the best quality work for an extremely fair price. He never overcharges like others in Killeen and he always responds and stays in contact when you make an appointment. Vegas has a mini fridge in the shop and always gives customers a red bull or water to drink. It is little things like this that let you know you are getting taken care of as a customer. I really like the vibe in the shop and I really dig the music they play. I cant say enough good things about Vegas as a tattoo artist. I personally will only go to Familia Ink in Killeen when I want a tattoo.

Took my 6 year old daughter here to have her ears pierced. The facility was clean, but our pierced just didn’t seem to know how to communicate what he was doing. He silently worked on her while I felt compelled to narrate what was happening to my child so she wouldn’t be afraid. It would be great to have had someone who explained what was happening. However, he did a great job. Earrings have been in for 3-4 weeks and no sign of infection, so quality service overall

My artist was Carlos and he did an absolute phenomenal job on my tattoo. I was a walk in trying to get my first tattoo and was able to snag an opening last minute. I was able to show up even an hour earlier to get started. The image I wanted was kind of low quality but Carlos managed to make the design 100 times better than what I thought I’d get. I got Russian text around it too and for it being in Cyrillic which is way different from the English alphabet he made it look fantastic and perfect. Super cool guy to talk to during the whole session, had some great conversations. The end product came out greater than anything I could of dreamt. Everybody I know totally digs it and thinks it’s tough as hell. Carlos was the exact artist I’d hope to get for my first tattoo and I’m totally impressed and satisfied with his work. Totally recommend getting tatted at Familia. Highest quality and most professional place in the whole city.

My 3rd tat Ive gotten done here with Vegas and the results are always above and beyond. He works with you on the price, and gets it done in a short time. Clean and comfortable environment. He always offers to touch up tattoos and gives good input on how to make your idea work out on that part of the body. My go-to shop and artist.

Vegas does excellent work, takes his time with clients, and is a true professional and artist. He completed a scar cover up tattoo, that transitions onto the ribs and breast that took two sessions and 13 hours. It is an excellent piece of art. I highly recommend him and the shop.

I have come to this place countless times and I have never been disappointed, the female piercer is amazing at what she does. I have gotten the snake bites on my tongue, septum and belly piercing. The pain was at a minimum which was a major plus, definitely coming back again. The tattoos are great as well, the artist work with you on your design or image and it ends up coming out amazing. I definitely recommend this place if you are searching for a spot.

Cody re pierced my tragus and conch and did an amazing job! He was very professional and 2 days later my ear doesn’t even hurt like it did the first time I had it done with a previous shop. Definitely coming back for more body mods.

Went in for an industrial piercing and Cody assisted me. The room was very clean and organized. Cody was plenty friendly and welcoming, did everything to help put me at ease. The piercing itself hurt about what youd expect, so no complaints there as it was fairly quick and he did a great job walking me through it and when to breath/exhale. Unfortunately, prior to get pierced I expressed concern over the placement because it interfered with the piercings I already have and plan to get. I wanted it more horizontal rather than so vertical down my ear. I was okay with where the top of the bar sat, I didnt like how low it was on the outer part of my ear. It was far too close to where conch piercing. They said this was the only way it could go. Fine. After returning home my ear was throbbing and began swelling up much more than youd expect. I figured ok, industrials are difficult piercings, give a day or so. It only got WORSE. Im not talking about where its actually going through the ear, that type of pain I am accustomed to (I have 19 piercings) however the placement was so awful and tight, pressing against the inner ridge and flat of my ear that there was no possible way this would ever heal properly. In addition to the bar being too short, especially with how it was placed, didnt take into account the swelling and healing process. Went into another studio for a second opinion and they were SHOCKED at how awful this was done and immediately removed it. Instant relief. You could see an indent from where the bar was pressed into my ear. This may be a great studio with phenomenal artists for tattoos or other piercings, but I would NEVER recommend going here for an industrial. Pierced Friday and removed Sunday morning. Such a bummer.

Cody Drake did my septum piercing after having a horrible experience with another local shop and it was amazing!!! I barely felt it and he was so nice and knowledgeable! I’m coming back her for any and all piercings in the future!

I just want to say that Familia and Vegas himself are great. They were awesome and helped me out with my budget for a tattoo. Vegas was a super cool guy and I barely felt anything while he was doing my tattoo. Great conversations and an overall friendly enviroment. Im definitely going back for my next one

Came in for a tattoo from Vegas and he asked me what was my budget. I responded with $800; he looked at what I wanted and was like since your budget is $800 I’ll do for $300. The quality of the tattoo was superb he took his time and you can tell he doesn’t tattoo for the money but for the love of the art. I definitely recommend y’all come to this shop their clean, respectful and extremely professional.

Got my first nose piercing. I got it done by Cody, he was real cool and chill, also very quick. I’ll be by here again, soon. I also like how fair the prices are for a regular nose piercing.

Came as a walk in for a small outline tattoo. Yoan was able to get me in and out in under an hour! Very happy with my little pink elephant tattoo 😊

EVERYONE there is nice and treats you like youre already great friends! the work ethic is great, the custom designs are awesome, they are all around good ppl. i wouldnt trust anyone else. i love Sins mind blowing talent (he does mine), but all of the guys are fantastic artists in their own right.For piercings i go see Amanda, and again i have nothing but great things to say about her AND her work. its a one stop shop, tats, piercings and a great time while doing it! cant ask for anything more/better!
