I walked in earlier today and got a nose piercing from Carrie. It was amazing! Despite having multiple tattoos and piercings already, I still struggle with anticipation lol. Heart was pounding. But she was so nice and made me feel comfy. She was super knowledgeable and walked me through a couple different placement options. The piercing itself was very smooth and quick, didnt hurt at all. I am no expert but everything seemed clean and sterile. Overall great experience. Ill def come back in the future when I want another piercing.

We had a great experience at Dragons Bane getting my girls ears pierced. Carrie was incredibly sweet and informative. They had a good selection of ear rings to choose from and many more to come back and purchase when it’s time for a change!

Clean and welcoming environment. The piercer was kind and considerate. She let me know what she was doing every step of the way. She made sure the markings were even and to my liking before piercing. She also didnt rush it and made sure I was ready for the second one before preceeding.

Sean does great tattoo work but my wife was here to get her nose pierced. Carrie was incredibly thorough and professional. She made sure my wife understood the whole process and every thing was very clean and sanitary.

This shop sells gift certificates and then the artists do not want to honor them. when we finally got an artist who would honor them he started the tattoo but never finished it. it was in honor of mu dads passing. We have tried continuously to get another appointment without any response back. This artist is apparently the owner of the shop as well. The tattoo has since faded its only been 2 years since the tattoo was started spent all day and night there to still walk out with a incomplete tattoo. I would never recommend this place to anyone for a tattoo! The piercer on the other hand is Amazing!!Responding to your answer. I lost both my parents that year as well as my daughter 7 months before that. I know all about grief. First it was a gift for my son. When I came in to buy gift certificate in a card form we were never told that you guys dont look at it the same as cash. Alice was the original artist we wanted she refused to do ot because she wasnt getting paid to do it. Then you Sean started it but never finished it and told him if you werent getting paid to do it it it had to be during the week then never gave him a time to come in and you kept his gift card as well. He even offered to pay more money to have it finished and no response. I also have a screenshot of him asking you to get back on the schedule and you telling him that you have to do tattoos your not getting paid for during the week and then did not schedule him. Carrie was extremely professional during my piercing. She took her time to make me feel comfortable and double checked the placement. Couldn’t recommend this shop more!

I got a tattoo on my leg by Austin. It was so bad! For starters it was spelled WRONG!!! He used a stencil so not sure how he could mess that up. Then to mention the lines were not the same thickness like he wasn’t sure how hard to press to keep consistency. If you were in someone’s basement getting a tattoo you’re gonna regret, that is what I got. Save yourself some trouble and just don’t go here!

I went in thinking I was going to add some paw prints to an existing tattoo. Sean help me with a different vision for how to incorporate those paw prints and enhance my old tattoo. The result is incredible. I could not have had the artistic vision for this and yet I love it!

My mom and I got tattoos here from Austin earlier this month, and I cannot recommend this shop to enough people!! It was my mom’s first tattoo, and Austin made sure to answer any and all questions we had. He also made sure to explain the process really well to make us both feel super comfortable. The shop is super clean and welcoming.

Stopped in a bit late in the evening on a Saturday for Birthday tattoos with my daughters, was concerned we wouldn’t be able to get in! Carrie was so accommodating, she said she would check with an artist, Russell, she said we could talk to him when he finished up. He came over looked at our pic and said so 3 tattoos in about an hour. He studied the photo and said let’s do it! He was amazing. Kept everything very clean and sterile, and finished them in about 45 minutes!!! We’ve had piercings done there before and we’re very pleased. The pricing is always reasonable and they explain everything! Erin is always helpful and ready to answer any questions!!!!

I called and talked to Austin about information on my tattoo I wanted and then just decided to go in. 20 minutes laters when I got there, Austin had it all drawn up, and it was better than the 1 I was thinking of getting. Once Austin started talking and explaining, I felt more comfortable right there and then and decided to get the tattoo he drew up. Back in August 2023, I miscarried and wasnt comfortable sharing until now. Im so happy with it, and with getting it, it will also help my heart to heal.Thank you, Austin and Dragonsbane tattoos

I literally just got out of the building, and I could not be more happy with my experience there. Very clean and sanitary shop, and Carrie did an exceptional job at making me feel at ease. My septum looks great, and i imagins itll be even better healed. 10/10 recommend, especially for piercings!

The piercer did a really good job, and knew what she was talking about. I was very impressed and will be returning for future piercings.I recently received my first tattoo and Austin, the artist, was very personable and walked me through every step. Sean is the absolute tattoo goat! Went in yesterday with a couple of basic ideas and let Sean use his creative juices to develop two absolute masterpieces! He went above and beyond any expectations that I had in mind. He is the only tattoo artist that I will let touch my canvas!

Alice did two of my tattoos and was fabulous!!! Alice took time to make sure they were what I wanted and did a great job throughout the process. 10/10 would recommend! If you go throughout the week they will see you quicker than on the weekends.Carried did my piercing and was awesome! It was really quick and she explained everything that she was doing as she was doing it. She changed her gloves frequently and everything was super clean and fresh. Prices were very reasonable!

I had such a great experience getting tattooed at this place. Going in, I had a clear idea of what I wanted for my first tattoo and where, but I hadnt given enough thought to the orientation of it. Alice was so incredibly patient with me while I spent a lot of time trying various combinations, revising the design and going back and forth. It made me feel very reassured that she really cared that I was happy with the final outcome, and she didnt just treat it as a mere task she had to perform. She also happily answered all my questions until I was satisfied and no longer nervous. I am so happy I went to her to get tattooed!

Ive been coming to the studio for a couple years now. Sean and Carrie are always welcoming and make you feel like family. The work is high quality and worth every penny. Ive got upwards of 13 tattoos from Sean and have always had a great experience. I come in as a customer but left with a great friend. I cannot say enough about the excellent treatment by Sean and his wife. I get asked about my art on a regular basis and will always recommend Sean.

Ive had piercings with Kari, and Tattoos with both Alice and Sean- theyre all great at their job, and I personally enjoy conversing with all of them.The work Ive had done there has all turned out very good. The shop is clean and everyone takes pride in their work.

Went to Carrie for a piercing (had gone to her once before) And she always gives the very highest quality of service. She is so informative about every step there is and every option you have available. Some of the other places Ive gone were kind of standoffish and didnt tell me everything I needed to know in the beginning. I would suggest to everyone ever wanting a piercing in Lafayette or nearby to go to Carrie. Shes the best.

Staff are friendly and professional. I got my septum done and was walked through the entire process throughly. Given this is my first true piercing, I was extremely nervous, but that quickly went away once the piercer spoke to me. Would highly recommend this facility for your piercing needs. I went in and wanted to get a industrial piercing but the piercer was very honest with me and informed me that my ears are too small. I greatly appreciate her being honest with them and advising me instead of just dong it and taking my money. I ended up getting a daith and a conch since the deals for getting two piercings was so great. She was very patient and made sure to give all the information and answer all my questions. I would recommend. Good pricing and great piercing experience.

My brother passed away last year and my mom and sisters wanted tattoos in remembrance... Sean gave us a great group discount and very graciously stayed late. While we were there We decided we wanted piercings as well... Carrie was great! They are both compassionate and passionate with their art and customers! Sean worked on a back piece for me which took a little over 25 hours. The sessions were spread from November to April of the next year. This was my first tattoo and Sean answered every question I had about the process along the way, easing any anxiety I had - which is very reasonable considering the cost and permanent nature of the process. The pricing is great compared to other artists in the region and Sean worked with me throughout to work around my busy schedule as a graduate student. His facility is clean, in the process of being renovated, and he uses top quality tools to perform his job. Sean also worked with me to help develop the idea for my tattoo. I had some rough images and ideas of what I wanted and Sean took the time to flush out these ideas in a way that made sense to me, always making rough sketches to ensure there was no miscommunication between us. Even after the initial consultation, each time I had a session we would review the overall concept and also improvise along the way as the piece developed. Overall this was a fantastic experience as my first tattoo and I am very happy with how it turned out. Thanks Sean for the awesome work of art!

We went in for piercings and the lady that did ot was extremely knowledgeable she made sure we understood the aftercare process and explained everything she was doing and why she was doing it. They were super friendly and fast this is now my number one spot for piercing

Sean did a piece for me in early September and it was an excellent experience! This was my fifth tattoo overall but first done in the Lafayette area (I am a grad student). Sean and Carrie were very friendly and welcoming when my girlfriend and I first came to the shop, which is clean and professional. During our consultations, Sean was easy to work with in terms of taking our ideas and improvising them into what we really wanted as tattoos. Sean takes the time to visualize the customer’s idea to see how it can become reality. The tattoos are well priced, and they have an awesome touch-up policy. I am already thinking about my next piece to have done by Sean! I recommend DragonsBane to anyone interested in getting tattoos.

Carrie was knowledgeable, clean, changes her gloves. Gave care instructions. This is my first piercing in years so I was pleased to have someone who took her time. If I or my 14 year old daughter ever get another one, well go back to her. She got an industrial and I got a helix. Thanks Carrie.

Absolutely amazing and will be making this my shop❤ Went in for jewelry which they where absolutely wonderful helping me find exactly what I wanted. Ended up finding out they did cheek piercings and decided to have mine redone. They where so wonderful and she was a complete boss! Such a fun relaxed and supportive atmosphere. Just got a triple in my lower lip. She took her time and made it perfect. Her prices are amazing for her work. I have some more ideas, and plan to come back soon.I should have come to them sooner, they have multiple payment options and a clean/family friendly shop.This shop is at the top of my list for piercing. Experience here was not great. [This was in 2018] Artist didnt draw up anything until after Id come in and been waiting. By draw I mean trace an image Id used as reference.He was very heavy handed and I actually bled a lot, which has never happened to me before. It was a pretty quick session. The tattoo didnt heal well at all. The color was patchy, lines were shaky, parts that were supposed to be solid were super patchy.I went to another shop to have it touched up and ended up having the whole thing redone, which sucked because it was scarred in several places. Ouch. The artist doing the repair mentioned chicken scratch when describing the lines.I would 0/10 not recommend this place for a tattoo.I have, however, seen several reviews commenting on the cleanliness of the shop, which is true. Its clean, its nice, and maybe I just have bad luck, but thats my experience.

Sean is awesome. He took time to make sure my tattoo design was just what I wanted before starting. Its not fully complete yet but what I have so far I love it.

I got my septum pierced here about a week and a half a go with Carrie! She pierced me so quickly and i the perfect spot. I havent had any swelling or any issues besides being a little tender but thats with any piercing :). I truly couldnt be more happy with my piercing and with my experience with Carrie 10 out of 10.

Sean took my two dimensional idea and made it into 3D. I absolutely love my tattoo, which was an homage to my pet and a good friend of mine, both who passed away. He was professional, all other staff were friendly and helpful. It’s been two months, and I still love looking down at my very first tattoo. Already planning my next, and I’ll be calling Sean.

I had an AMAZING experience at Dragons Bane!! Sean is an extremely talented artist!He took the time to explain the process, performed tattoo in very well cleaned, sterile environment, and his detailed work is PHENOMENAL! Prior to starting the tattoo, Sean printed tattoo onto transfer paper, so there were no surprises with size and placement. This was my first time being inked, and Sean answered all of my questions and helped ease a lot of my anxiety. I will highly recommend anyone thinking of getting a tattoo to go to Dragons Bane and see Sean!! Any future tattoos I or my hubby will be getting in the future will most definitely be through him!

Horrible customer service!!! The lady is nice, but Sean is awful! He had 2 weeks to draw my tattoo and never got back to me! I emailed him only once and called 2 DAYS before I was due for the tattoo with no word just to hear him say Tell her to leave me alone. Itll be done when its done! Im busy! Taking my business elsewhere, even if it costs more, its worth it not to put up with that drama.

Carrie and Sean are amazing. I paid for a roundtrip ticket for my niece to come to indiana and get her first tattoo from Sean. Sean and Carrie are professional treat you like family and Sean took the time to explain the entire process of getting a tattoo to my niece from beginning to end. Sean also stayed past closing time to finish up a cover up on me. Super kind people , clean shop ,and amazing at what they do. This is why I will continue to drive almost 3 hours to get my tattoos from Sean. I cant say enough good things about Dragons Bane tattoo and Carrie and Sean

I wouldnt go anywhere but Dragonsbane for a tattoo or piercing in the Lafayette area. Why? Because the quality of the work is excellent, the owners are friendly, informative, patient & more than competent... and the shop is clean, safe and comfortable. Both Sean and Carrie are down to earth people who have never displayed the all-too-common tattoo elitist attitude. No pretentiousness here. Just great, creative ink and expertly wielded piercing needles.

Had been thinking of getting a tattoo for a while, and this place seemed like the place to go. They gave me up front estimates for my ideas and made sure to make me comfortable for my first tattoo. They talked to me to alleviate my worries and stepped me through the process. I ended up getting my first tattoo here and the artist did a wonderful job on it.

I have been here a couple times. Got piercings today got a forward helix and tragus piercing. Very clean and sanitary.. Definitely recommend the piercer was very intelligent in what she does.

Completely pierced my navel in the wrong spot and now i have a huge ugly scar above my belly button. severally disappointed. It’s completely above my belly button, not even close to where it should be, they essentially pierced my stomach.

Got a belly button piercing here. it was quick, and carrie explained the healing process and aftercare thoroughly. better than the place i went to get my nose pierced! i plan on coming back next time i want a body mod.

Got my cartilage pierced here, cleaned it all the time still wasnt healing and was always swollen. After 6 months I decided to change the jewelry in hopes it would help, it did and no more swelling. Same thing happened when my boyfriend got his ears pierced here.

The reception people where great. But that’s about it. I went in less than a week ago and had my daith pierced (or so I thought). Not even 5 days later I was with a friend, who was at a different piercing shop, and the piercer there noticed my daith wasn’t even placed right. It wasn’t even in the cartilage. So they just took it out so I can let it heal and be redone by someone else. I will not go back there

I went there to get my helix piercing done. She was very amazing and she goes through what you need to do with your piercing very well. You have so many choices when you go there and the service is amazing!

Super clean place way cleaner than any other place here in lafayette. i got my ears pierced here and tattooed the same night. very knowledgeable and helpful. stayed way over time just so i could get my cover up tattoo done.

I have gotten a few piercings there. My nose and my trages. The woman was super professional and kind. She explained everything and the process was very fast and clean.

Filthy, run-down shop. After making my wife wait for over an hour to speak with her (with no other customers in the shop), refused to ink a tattoo in arabic script which he mistook for sanskrit initially. No professionalism. Ended up going to a REAL shop in Bloomington where professionals work in a super clean shop. Lafayette has no decent shops period. Dont waste your time.

This is the only place to go for getting ink you come in as a customer you leave as a friend it took me a long time to find a place to get my first tattoo either to the place was dirty or the artist would not listen wanted to do what he wanted to do not what I wanted done the owners Shawn and Carrie make you feel like a part of the family I recommend them to everyone if youre a first-timer this would be the place to go they walk you through everything they will even draw up the picture that you want customize it as you want it and make sure youre happy before ink goes on

Russell was pretty rough doing my touch up. I was bleeding bad! It still needs touched up again and it hasnt been a year yet. Just a simple tattoo with my DAUGHTERS name wow!

Carrie was very informative and talked me through the whole thing telling me every step. She did a great job too, only hurt for a few Seconds
