Went in a few days ago and got a really old tattoo covered. Doug was amazing and did a fantastic job. Thanks for being so patient and doing such great work. I always get nervous with tattoos but had a great experience and will definitely be back for more.Got another one added and once again he did an amazing job.

Absolutely amazing place, I will 100% always go here for my piercings and when its time for me to get a tattoo they will still be my first choice. Pricing is extremely reasonable, Jimi is really nice and gives very honest and helpful advice on aftercare. Probably some of the least painful piercings ive ever gotten. The encounters ive had with their tattoo artist have also been really good, theyre both very nice guys! I absolutely recommend going here for any services you need done.

My wife got her daith piercings and it provided immediate relief. No joke the piercer here is amazing, very sterile, well priced and super informative. Recommend anyone looking for another piercing or looking for migraine relief.

Most amazing tattoo experience I’ve ever had the shop is very clean, the team there are very professional and always welcoming! Koos does such amazing work I am absolutely in love with my tattoo! His lines are so clean and his work is absolutely worth every penny. Overall the prices are amazing in comparison to other tattoo artist around but the work outshines the rest. I give them five stars because my forearm piece is better than I ever imagined and I will be returning for two whole sleeves and a full leg piece in the future. Koos just finished my husbands shoulder piece and the work speaks for itself.

My experience with 3rd Rock Tattoos was an excellent experience. Doug is very professional and extremely talented. The first appointment I scheduled with him, I unfortunately had a family emergency and needed to reschedule last minute. He was understanding and went above and beyond to accommodate me in scheduling another appointment and transfer my deposit accordingly. (Very thoughtful) His tattoo work exceeded my expectations and Im looking forward for my next session! I would recommend anyone who is looking for professional work for a reasonable price. I did extensive research in finding the right artist in the Pierce county area and Im confident that Dougs work exceptional.

I got my nose pierced here a couple weeks ago, and the staff was so friendly! I wish I remember the artist’s name who pierced me, but regardless, they were so kind, quick, and professional. I also love the horror vibe in the shop!10/10 recommend

I’m all for a shop setting its boundaries and saying naw to any customer or service requested. Their business. What I’m not for is a very condescending dude using incorrect medical jargon to say he couldn’t complete a service. We had already accepted the “no” and were about to leave when he launched into the unsolicited monologue. Very odd exchange. Plenty of other shops around so easy enough to avoid this one and such engagements.

Im so glad I came here. Doug did an amazing sternum piece on me and Im so in love with it! The shop was clean and he took the time to inform me of the sterilization process for their tools. I would highly recommend this shop. Very friendly, good clean work, and prices that cant be beat!

Went to get my septum pierced after wanting one for years. The wait was 2 hours but was so so worth it. I was very nervous about the placement being right and the piercer finding my sweet spot but she did absolutely incredible with both. The area was super clean and efficient. She talked me through everything and made sure i knew what she was doing before doing it. Highly recommend going here

Went with my buddy from high school.We got tattoos in remembrane of our dear friend, who had recently passed(RIP Gishmo).I couldnt get an appt with my regular guy, and I was itching to get his favorite kanji inked for our friend. My friend was getting his first tattoo and I wanted to strike while the iron was hot, so to speak. I checked out shops near me. Saw his work on IG before visiting .Glad I did. Doug was very accommodating for our (decent size) quicky little bangers. Squeezed us in on a Saturday. Cool clean shop. Great artist. No heavy hand, quick and efficient, which I appreciate👍We both love our new tattoos. Now we have a lasting memory of our fallen friend Steve.And now I have two great local tattooers. Will be back. Came in yesterday with my husband and everyone in there is great to be around. My husband told Wayne what he wanted but still needed an idea of how he could make it look better, and he instantly gave him an idea, priced it, drew it up and got him right in. We came back today and I got my first tattoo and I couldnt be any more happy with it!! He was very considerate as to how nervous I was and kept me calm through the whole session. The artists are amazing and the price is very good! We definitely recommend 3rd Rock and will be coming here for future artwork!

Walked in and they threw an amazing deal I couldnt let down. The summer theyre offering 35$ piercings. I got my nipples pierced for a dope price and the piercer is a down to earth dude with over 25 years of experience. He is a respectful, kind, real, and friendly guy. Easily approachable and easy to talk to. Would definitely recommend to my friends and others! Will be back for more piercings

Took my 7 year old to get her ears pierced by Jimi Bones. He was super nice to my daughter(hes a dad) and very professional. The piercing was quick and easy and she hardly cried for more than a few seconds(the whole thing was so fast). Then she was ecstatic! He gave us a simple but thorough run down on the cleaning process. It was a quick and affordable process and I would recommend his services to anyone.

I got this tattoo in the summer time by Madi and we had originally agreed on $200 however after she finished she asked me if “$300 was ok”. I feel ripped off to the point it upsets me to even look at the tattoo as I feel I was ripped off. I overpaid for something with very little detail that took her less than an hour to finish.. I now have to spend more money on getting it covered up than I did getting it in the first place.

Very good professional tattoo artist! Came in with my sister after getting denied by other shops and sean was more then happy to take us in and carefully listened to what we wanted that same day even staying after closing hours to finish. Will return!

This is a great little shop in a place that is listed as Outlet mall?! It is nothing like a mall. The shop is inside building just down the street by a few hundred yards from Tea Madame, another really great little shop with amazing different kinds of tea from all over the world. 3rd Rock is a little hard to see, its in a dark blue black building with a big logo on the door that says3rd Rock tattoos.They do all types of tattoos and piercings, they show all their techniques including their sterilization procedures and explain things as they go. They also do watercolor tattoos, which from talking with other people I understand is more difficult and quite expensive to do but at 3rd Rock tattoos they do an amazing job. My daughter got her first tattoo there for her 21st birthday and it came out beautifully. If you are looking for a great little tattoo place that can do amazing works of art down to the cutest little favorite animals or even cultural markings and tattoos then this is your place. I recommend 3rd Rock for the hardcore tattoos or for somebody just getting their first 😉😎

Got a double cartilage piercing on my left ear the piercer didnt tell me to bring my own earring so I used theirs. It was fine for the first day but when i woke up the second day it was infected, the piercer said not to clean it on the first night so i didnt. It was bad that we had to take the earrings out. They put a plastic backing on one of the. We called to ask for a refund and they said they would full refund me but only gave me the 40 I paid 60. I personally dont recommend.

Oh man. I dont even know where to start! I was greated first thing when I walked in and was helped immediately. I messaged Jimi beforehand to get my nipples pierced because I was nervous and had questions. He answered very quickly and eased my mind! He and his wife, Jen, both pierced one nipple at the same time, so I wouldnt feel the pain twice. I really appreciated this. As of right now, I have minimal pain and everything is going super smoothly. We even chatted after the piercings for a bit. 3rd Rock Tattoos is super professional and they care about the clients. I will ONLY go here from now on. ❤

I got a tattoo in October the guy that did it was so rough that after her was done a few hours later my arm was turning red and purple and getting swollen. I have never had a tattoo react like that. I thought it was infected but later realized it was really badly bruised. I went in and asked what they thought was wrong and they said they had no idea. Now my tattoo looks old and faded because it is scared. This tattoo meant a lot to me now I just regret it.

Terrible communication of hours and employees not being present during communicated hours. Phone line wasnt working for 3 days consistently every time I called. Lack of respect and follow through on after care and changing piercings. Overall extremely disappointing service and would highly recommend going ANYWHERE but there.
