Crystal did such an amazing job on the tattoo honoring my late dad. He was a huge Trekkie and this was the perfect tattoo for me to always think of him. She went over everything in full detail and the tattoo came out as perfect as how I envisioned it.Its been six months since I had it done and its a great topic of discussion and so many compliments.Other highlights: the studio is great - extra clean, the lighting is great (can see all the colors and work) and all around a great atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back for another tattoo (or when I finally convince my husband to get his first tattoo).

One of the best in the area hands down, friendly atmosphere and amazing artists… I’ve gone to Bill for my last 4 tattoos and most recently a portrait (all which turned out incredible). Never once have I felt like I was a bother if I asked for any changes to the designs and always welcomes conversation. Love this place and highly recommend to anyone looking for good work!

I’ve been looking for a tattoo artist for over a year to do some artwork in honor of my mom who passed away. Doing some research I came across Bill with Olympus Tattoo Studio and after looking at his portfolio I instantly knew I wanted to get a portrait of my mom done. Bill emailed me right away after I submitted a request to him, he explained the process to me. He was very genuine and I knew I could just trust his process. Before I left we were already talking about the next piece we’re planning on doing. The portrait came out so realistic I couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Such a unique, welcoming and clean boutique. Had an amazing first experience with Sheilas guidance, attention - above and beyond care. Loved learning about her passion for the art and getting my own little piece of her detailed work. Will be back !

Ive been seeing Liz Karn for a few years now, and this is the most welcoming environment Ive visited her at. Everyone is super friendly and extremely talented. Liz is your girl for all things ornamental and b&w. I ALWAYS get compliments on tattoos shes done and I will continue to be blasted by her!!!Recently I got my brows done there by Lauren and wow is she knowledgeable!! I had had my brows microbladed in the past, and she whipped them into shape and I feel so much more confident with my new brows! She was so detailed with her brow knowledge and then the actual brows themselves. I am extremely happy with them and will continue to get them retouched by her ☺️

First impressions....shop was very clean! Bill was a delight to work with! He was very accommodating when I changed the location of my tattoo last minute and just an all around great artist! Couldnt be more pleased!

All I can say is wow. I have been getting tattooed for the last 23 years and have over one hundred hours of work done. When I was unable to get into the artist I normally see at another shop because of COVID, I took a chance on Bill. I was immediately drawn to his black and gray realism. The actual in person result is even more incredible than I could have ever imagined. Aside from being wildly talented, Bill is genuine, friendly, and warm. The tattoo studio is simple and beautiful. I felt so comfortable and welcomed into the space. This is hands down the best tattoo experience I have ever had. I cannot wait to book another session with Bill. Thank you so much!

Bill tattooed a mini portrait of my dog for me. Not only is he INSANELY talented, but he is super friendly and approachable. I was very nervous at first but he instantly made me feel comfortable. The tattoo he did is better than I could have ever imagined...I am obsessed with it and will cherish it forever. The shop itself is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The other artists that were there were super friendly as well. I would recommend this shop 1000% and I will definitely be going back!

Liz was incredible. Very nervous to get a larger piece because 3/4 of my tattoos are pretty much flash and had never really worked with an artist on a design before. She was so patient and reassuring and gave me so many options to work with. She improved on my original idea with her own spin on it and Im so thankful because it looks ten times better than anything I could have come up with. The shop was clean and spacious and the other artists there were very friendly. Overall a great environment with an awesome artist. Ill be going back to Liz asap.

Bill was fantastic. My wife and I came in with a vague idea, and Bill was able to help guide us to our final design without being pushy. I absolutely recommend Olympus if you’re in the Cleveland area and looking for a tattoo- very professional and kind artists.

He is a very talented artist, makes you feel welcome and comfortable, as well as responsive to questions or requests leading up to the appointment. You won’t regret working with Bill!

Refused to give me the tattoo I wanted and we agreed upon, but didn’t tell me until 3 hours before our appointment. I met with the artist 5 months ago, told him what I was thinking (a picture oriented left to right), he said he could do it no problem. He said he’s pretty busy and we scheduled the tattoo for 5 months down the road. I texted a week before the appointment and was told everything was fine and we were on as scheduled. Then, 3 hours before the appointment, he texts me his drawing with what I want oriented backwards (right to left). I said I liked the drawing, but wanted it flipped the other way as we had discussed. Flat out refused. It doesn’t matter that I’m a paying customer and it’s my body my choice, just said absolutely not and wouldn’t do it. The shop may respond and say he was doing what was best for the art of the tattoo or whatever, but the fact remains they didn’t tell me about it until 3 hours before our appointment. We had 5 months to work something out, and they refuse service 3 hours prior. It felt like an “I never wanted to do this tattoo, but will be happy to take your deposit” transaction. Save your money and time, go elsewhere.

Incredibly unprofessional artist. Booked an appointment with Bill. Was not in the shop on the day of my appointment nor would he pick up his phone when another employee tried calling him.

After searching many shops who would be willing to work on both my sister and I at the same time and same day, Kosta and Nick both made accommodations to their schedules to get us in. We worked with them weeks in advance to get our tattoo ideas just right. Communication was great and the processes from check-in, all the way through payment were awesome. Kosta did an absolutely incredible job creating a custom piece for my sisters first tattoo. He was also super conscientious, making sure my sister was comfortable the whole way through. Nick was a joy, with a quick wit and great sense of humor, keeping us laughing, which made the process even better. I highly recommend these guys and this shop.

Just got my grandmothers portrait tattooed on me by Bill Johenning and I wouldnt want anything any other way. For starters, the shop itself is very clean, prices are reasonable, the staff is very talented and super friendly, and the stations are decorated tastefully and nicely spread apart. My piece from Bill is absolutely beautiful and he put his entire heart and soul into it to make sure that it was everything I wanted. You can tell that Bill truly cares about his clients and getting to know them, he is one of the most professional and down to earth personalities that Ive met in Lakewood for sure. Everything about this shop is great and I highly recommend it!

Contacted an artist from Olympus via email to set up an appointment months in advance and put down a deposit for a tattoo. The day of the appointment, the artist cancelled on me. None of the times that were suggested to reschedule worked for me so I tried to cancel and get my money back at which point the artist ghosted me. I had to file a dispute on venmo in order to get my money back because the artist refused to respond. This is the worst tattoo experience I have ever had and will not be coming back.

Very clean studio with the most talented team. Sheila and Kosta are the dynamic duo. My husband and I walked in with a vision, and walked out with an amazing and extremely meaningful piece of art each. It was my first tattoo and my husbands second. We will for sure be back!

Sheila Asbury is hands down amazing. She treated my simple tattoo request with an impeccable level of detail, importance and preciseness. She spent well over an hour and a half making sure it was exactly what and where I wanted it. Four words never looked so different angled a millimeter differently!Sheilas aesthetic eye mixed with her desire to make her client comfortable and happy make for this already exciting experience even better. Had I been nervous or apprehensive, Sheila would have been the BEST to use. She walks you through every step, makes sure you are completely comfortable, delivers detailed follow up care and communicates via text for aftercare questions if needed. If its your first tattoo or your hundredth...if you want someone who is meticulous, detail oriented, patient, and treats you like she has all the time in the world... choose Sheila.Note: Olympus Tattoo is a super cool place. Myself and my partner spent a full day shadowing the shop taking photos for their website and the quality of work and service we saw in just that time set the shop apart from every other definitively. All four of the artists work is breathtaking and their passion/attention to detail is what makes the difference. It is rare to have an establishment of this caliber anywhere. One of the artists even took several hours to break down, work with, and explain fully the process to a first time tattoo client with cold feet. This level of patience and care is something I would expect from a top level doctors office but is present at Olympus Tattoo Studio. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I got my dogs name and paw print done by Sheila at Olympus. I cannot say enough good things about her and the studio itself. I had my sweet girl 14 years before having to put her down. Sheila was so kind and educational. She really took the time to make sure it was perfect. I am so grateful to have had her do it for me.
