Royal Pain Tattoo

My wife and I are looking for a place to get work done. We stopped in to get some ideas and were blown away by the genuine nature of the people working there. Most of the tattoo shops got weird after COVID was nice to have a interaction without feeling persecuted. Will post pics once we get some work done.

Honestly get your piercing done here! I had been researching and Im so happy I found this place literally like a minute from my job. I had my septum pierced by Matt exactly 15 days ago. I went in by myself because they are following CDC guidelines (which I thought was awesome) and he was so professional and made me feel so comfortable I forgot I was all by myself. He described every little step with detail before he did anything. Very laid back, clean & organized. I instantly loved my new piercing. If I ever want anything else pierced I will def go back to him & would recommend 100%.

My sister and I got our noses pierced here this afternoon and it was an awesome experience! Matt is really smart and knew his stuff. Made the process super easy. Would recommend for piercings for sure!

Decided to check out the place after seeing all the good reviews. Glad I did. Walked in without an appointment to get my cartilage pierced. Matt was beyond helpful even in explaining why I should refrain from getting certain earrings (a hoop) placed right away because it can hinder the healing. He explained everything I needed to know and was seemed to be just a nice down to earth guy who put me at ease with his knowledge. For those like me who care, all the staff wore masks and Matt clean and sanitized before and after which is awesome. Definitely will be going back for future piercings.

I got a triple forward helix piercing here and am so happy with how incredible my piercing experience was! The studio and equipment is extremely clean, and Matt was so kind and patient through the entire process. He gave me plenty of breathing time in between each piercing, checked in on me, and answered all the questions I had. Highly recommend Royal Pain and I know I will be back again!

Got a double helix piercing-- my first properly done piercing lol. Matt was really nice and quick. The art in their display case looked really nicely done as well, so Im going to keep that in mind for later!

The picture isnt the best quality but the work is. I have been wanting this tattoo for a long time and he definitely came through with. The skill and patience that he has is outstanding. He took his time and made sure his work was done neatly. I also go pierced there as well but I cant share that picture. Overall the atmosphere, the vibe, the workers is 10/10. If youre looking to get your first or next tattoo/piercing definitely go to Royal Pain you will NOT be disappointed.

Pro: $20 piercings by appointment once a monthCon: Piercer will pierce you with externally threaded jewelry and disclose this fact to you, leading to poor healing. Piercer will also sell you externally threaded jewelry without disclosing that it is externally threaded. Piercer was not knowledgeable about proper aftercare. Selection of jewelry was poor - trashy in my personal opinion - to the point of not having standard jewelry for ear lobe piercings. Piercer will not be on time to your appointment.Shop was recommended to me by a friend who Im hoping was simply ignorant and not malicious because quite frankly anyone piercing with externally threaded jewelry in 2021 need not be piercing anything alive.

Literally the best place to get a piercing done. In my life, I have had to repierce my ears about four times and they would all end up getting infected. I got one upper lobe piercing and it was painless and Matt made me feel very comfortable although I was nervous to begin with since I am horrified of needles. I did have to go back to get a longer earring and he gladly did it for me. Everything was super clean and sterile. I recommend going here if youre going to get a piercing or have teenagers ready to get one.

Absolutely in love with my new septum piercing! I recommend calling before you go so you know the piercer (also the owner!) is there. Everything was super quick, clean, and professional!

This is the place to go for any type of piercing. I recently went in there for my cartilage and my second lobe piercing and i absolutely love it. The piercer was so nice asking if i needed time in between each piercing. For any future piercings i will be going there. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars for the awesome and clean service. And to Royal Pain Tattoo, I will be back for. more piercings.

I got an industrial piercing here and would definitely recommend. I accidentally left something there and they stayed over hours I am so thankful! Come get inked or pierced by these people!

Really good for piercings. I got my nose pierced here on the 20th with the $20 piercing deal. (Great deal!) The place looks small and kind of dingy but looks can be deceiving. The back room (where piercing was done) was super clean and bright. The guy who pierced me(wish I got his name) was really nice and I told him I was nervous and he talked me through it all really calmly. Really professional. Only con is the place is small so I had to wait for a bit but no big deal.

I can not say enough great things about this shop. Everyone was very nice, the guy that did our tattoos had clean letters took his time making sure we liked everything and genuinely cared. Our tattoos look absolutely amazing I couldnt be happier. Everyone was easy to talk to and joke around with. The tattoo artist on top of doing both of our tattoos then touched up a terrible set of butterflies I had done years ago at a not so good shop free of charge, it took him about 10 minutes and they have never looked as good as they do now! I honestly cant wait to go back and the rest of my tattoos fixed!!

My wife had her ears re-pierced after 20 years. Matt took great care of her and was able to help get jewelry that would work with her nickel allergy. He was very knowledgeable and did a great job.

My future husband and I wanted to get tattoo rings rather than real wedding rings. We have NEVER entered a tattoo parlor ever in our lives, and we are rather old for this sort of thing. We were able to just walk in and be served immediately. The man at the counter explained why our plans wouldnt have been a wise idea then helped us figure out something else that would suit our wants. The design was phenomenal, the actual process (while a little painful) was fantastic, the artist was so professional (he did a gorgeous job), and the price was shockingly lower than I expected. Could not be happier than we are. We HIGHLY recommend Royal Pain for these kinds of services!

Right after getting the piercing I told him the post he put in my lip was too short. He said it was a fine middle area.Well. Woke up the next morning to my lip eating the post. So much swelling and bruising.None of my other piercings have swelled before. Then again neither have they felt like they did when the needle tore through this one.Thats what I get for not seeing my regular guy.. who i ended up going to anyway to get the post out my face.The piercer of this one told me I could come back if theres an issue but I didnt want him to touch my face again.Glad my pals have a fine experience here but no thank you.

Best place I know Im lanc to get a piercings. Matt definitely does he things. I Wont go nowhere else for piercing ever again.Never got a tattoo from there but I heard it was the place to go to !!

Piercer was nice but did my snake bites with a 18g which is too small but I left it alone 2 days later the swelling was to much for such a short bar that the pressure from the swelling against the jewelry was painful so he changed the bars into hoops which he then said WERE NOT SURGICAL STEEL for my fresh piercing so despite me cleaning it and being very careful with food and talking it got infected and had to take them out after not even a full week… extremely upset honestly… gonna go to TattooByMee instead and see what he can do

Me and my husbands favorite shop... We have gotten several piercings and tattoos here so far and each time is the best.. Great friendly fun staff and amazing work.. All piercings are done very professionally with lots of info and care... Tattoo work is also very professional with very nice and helpful suggestions.. All tools are clean and never had any problems.. Prices are great.. Definitely the best shop I ever been to.. Hope the rest of my work is here also

I’d recommend these guys 100%, they talked to me for at least 30-40 minutes answering all my questions and taught me important things about getting a tattoo. They did a great job with my tattoo and i’m very content with it. I had a great experience with them.- The Coordinates Dude Lucas

I just went to willow street tattoo yesterday and got some script on my hands. the work was done by glenn (the owner of royal pain) and he did such an awesome job. i couldnt be happier with my new tattoos and the price couldnt have been better. i will definitely be going back soon.

Walk ins are welcomed, artist are down to earth, work is good quality and prices are reasonable. Dont let the hype of the other tattoo parlors steer you away from Royal Pains

I came here for a simple nose ring switch (because hoops are impossible for me to get out without pliars) and I got such quick and great service!! Definitely will be back if I need anything in the future
