It was my first tattoo. They were so nice, called me back, set up a time , explained everything . And helped me. I wanted the script of my nephew who past and he helped pull the some letters together to say exactly what I wanted and it looks perfect! Just like his hand. Couldnt be happier!

Steve and his team are top notch. I’ve been getting ink there for over twenty years and have never been let down. Just recently a new project and stoked about it. Pioneer in the City of lancaster. Thanks for all the great worm my man.

Transcending flesh is a great little tattoo parlor. I visited with my friend last year, and the staff were kind and personable. The place is clean and the needles are new and never reused. I am pleasantly surprised to know that these small-town places can be this nice. Shoutout to Stuart- a talented tattoo artist! Very satisfied customer here- I will return!

I live out of town, coming to Lancaster in the summer. I have reached out via email, telephone, on 3 separate occasions to simply get a QUOTE and to SPEAK TO SOMEONE. However, no one has called me back! I have never been so upset in my life. I have been here in the past, got my first few tattoos here and my nose pierced years ago. Steve, Stuart. This is such bad business. Guess I won’t be going there and spending MORE MONEY, was also going to bring my boyfriend. Oh well, don’t know how businesses stay open when they DONT WANT TO WORK 🤷‍♀️ Very dissatisfied

Absolutely wonderful experience. Had Steve as our guy to get done a walk-In tatoo cover up job that was quite meaningful to us and he did the job magnificently. Very down too Earth guy. Am happy i choose him and his shop. Thank youuu Steve!

I had 2 good experiences at Transcending Flesh & plan to have another one this month. Im a senior & was careful about choosing a tattoo studio. I visited 5 in the city & county before having work done. They were done well, & the artist was very understanding of my original anxiety.

Great artists. Stewart took extra time to make my cover up the perfect size. Tight straight lines, solid black color. I recommend going in and talking to them if you are looking for a new artist!

I spoke to an artist about my idea and he told me to email him a copy and he would get back to me right away. That never happened...so the next day(today) I decided to drive over there. I thought they opened at 11am which was my mistake so I waited an hour. 4 other guys showed up and at 12:35pm(35 minutes after they open) still no one was there. All 5 of us left. I just dont do business like that so I dont want to do business with someone who doesnt respect others time...very disappointed after all the good reviews and looking through their art books online. I know for me and the 4 others waiting with me they lost 5 customers who will never go back.

I messaged them on their website 2 weeks ago and have still not recieved a responce. Reach out via face book questioning are you guys still in business and their responce was yes. I asked about making an appoinment and no reaponce. What a joke this place is.

I started coming to Transcending Flesh after seeing multiple guys come out of the shop with stellar work. I planned my first tattoo and went all in with a full sleeve. That was 6 years ago! Now Im almost done with a full leg sleeve as well. If youre within a couple hours of this shop its the place to go. Ask for Steve or Stu! I work with Steve and his color work is ridiculous.

Went into the shop over a month ago and they told me to email them the images. A week passes and I call them and they tell me theyre going to start on it. Another week passes, I call them and they tell me they arent ready to show me the sketch. I receive an email telling me they got the images and are NOW looking at it a whole month later. Hasnt gotten back to me since. Bad service, I took every initiative and was completely ignored. Waste of time.

Best place in the entire world to get a tattoo. I had tattoos done when I lived in Melbourne Florida and they all faded and even some of the colors came out of the Florida tattoos and I have tattoos that are over 16 years old that I had done before I even went to Florida and none of those colors faded or came completely out because of the wonderful job that my main man Stewart here at transcending flesh his colors never faded I have Venom from Spider-Man on my shoulder and I was in Florida for 5 years in the Sun and he didnt fade at all and I get some many great compliments on that tattoo and all my others from from Stewart at transcending flesh and now he is redoing a 1956 Ford F100 tow truck I have on my forearm because some of the colors came completely out of it and so far he has made it look 100% better than what it did and I cant wait to get it finished on Friday January 19th 2018. Stewart has done both full arm sleeves and I couldnt be happier thanks again Stewart for your awesome amazing artwork that I get to show off to the world.

Nice guy there that greeted me and my sister but DO NOT walk in for a piercing as they dont do them anymore and apparently havent fora long time. Please update your website, TranscendingFlesh!!

I went in just to see what they could do. They quoted a price came back next day Stuart did a great job , I recommend him to a lot of people, he is very quick an good at his job!!

Great artists that do killer work! Best shop in Lancaster in my opinion have personal pieces done here as well as family and close friends who are completely happy with choosing to come here

My daughter went here to get her nose pierced. Gal that did it was soooooo nice and knowledgable. Very clean and sterile environment. Would definitely recommend. 😃

I tried making an appointment over the phone and they told me I had to do it in person. I tried 5:30pm on a Wednesday and 7:00pm on a Thursday and BOTH TIMES they were closed. Those are listed as open business hours and there was no explanation or time listed that theyd be back.

Steve and Stu are fantastic! If you want a tattoo youll still be happy with in a decade go see these guys.
