Nick is the best piercer in town; extremely patient, understanding and very detail instructional based oriented! Will always go to him for all my piercings or change outs!

Drew is a great artist and has the coolest shop space. I am from Chicago so whenever I come into town he is very accommodating and makes space for me in his busy calendar. His prices are also AMAZING considering what I pay back home!

I put off leaving a review but I figured its time. I went to DNA looking to get my earlobes pierced back in January. The first mistake I made was booking an appointment during walk in hours, which was a $10 booking fee online. When I arrived at my appointment with Nick and filled out my paper work, another family walked in and caused alot of tension which caused my appointment to get rushed. My mom and I questioned the placement of the marker. I was given an explanation as to why he marked it that way and so i trusted him. My placement was totally off and I wound up taking one out and getting it redone elsewhere. As of this week, its been 6 months and the piercing I didnt get redone still hasnt healed, its pierced at a funky angle and my stud tilts downward. Ive been to two other piercers that took a look and they said it shouldnt be angled. Which sadly I might have to get that one redone too. Dont get me wrong, Nick is a nice guy! I enjoyed our conversation and he is very good at calming your nerves if youre nervous but this experience hasnt been as easy as everyone makes it out to be. Ive heard some amazing things about DNA but I cant say I would ever go back.

Ive been pierced by Drew a few times; he is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and never rushed me. The support staff has been equally helpful every time I’ve interacted with them.

They were very nice and the prices for piercings werent bad. Unfortunately, my piercings are uneven🤦‍♀️.

Drew and Anita are amazing!My husband and I have both gotten multiple tattoos from them. They are professional and very light handed and are willing to work with you to ensure you get exactly what you want. The atmosphere is warm, cheerful and very down to earth. The shop is very clean and I would highly recommend getting tattooed here!

Drew is one of my good friends and was able to fit me in after another person for some touch up. His crew is the bomb very versatile.

Me and my wife both got tattoos here and Drew was excellent. Very professional you can tell that he enjoys what he does. We love the environment and for my wife’s first tattoo it was a great experience. I also got piercings by Drew he made it quick and is very knowledgeable about what he does. We will definitely be seeing him again hopefully soon.

I assume their work is great, but their customer service is very poor. After I contacted Skyler, one of the tattoo artist recommended by Nick (son of the owner), Skyler texted me and asked about size of tattoo. He then never got back with me for 24 hours, and after I asked what seemed to be the problem, he wrote me the following message (as if I am a mind reader):My bad, I do have a life outside of tattoos, tattooing, and responding to messages about tattoos, I do get back to everyone in order tho. Youd probably be looking about $150

Nick was great! Super quick and easy walk-in appointment for a tragus. He completely understood the exact placement & angle I wanted. Clean workspace and friendly. Great aftercare instructions. Reasonable pricing.

Dru is super professional & knowledgeable at piercing. He took the time to answer my ?s & made sure my daughter felt comfortable before he pierced her. The shop was clean. The staff was cool! We will definitely be back! Thanks DNA

Super nice and friendly staff. They make sure you are okay with the placing of everything before piercing. They are nice and patient if you need a moment. They explain everything in detail and answer all your questions in a manner that makes you really understand everything. They dont rush you as soon as youre done in case you need to recover. 11/10. I got 2 piercings in my ear. Drew was very kind and informative. The shop is very clean and he showed me everything in still sealed in its packaging before beginning. I would definitely recommend Drew and DNA Ink to anyone looking for a little work.

Drew is an absolutely a m a z i n g piercer. Ive been to other local shops and none were as wonderful as DNA Ink. Drew was well informed and did well to walk me through everything as he did it. Tried to use the place. Called ahead and was told to come by. The guy at the counter didnt even know what ivy was, he had to google it. Then he said after I got there that he had another appointment and I would have to schedule, but that is not what was said on the phone or in person to my friend. Obviously didnt want to make any money and HORRIBLE customer service and how I was treated. Will make sure none of my friends or I go there ever again. The guy also copped an attitude asking me well how many times do you want the ivy going around your arm like it was inconvenient, also told me he wouldnt tattoo my hand because he said he just doesnt do that. Waste of my time to tell me to come to be rude when I got there.

Drew and Nick were awesome! I went get my earlobes pierced, its my very first piercing and they super good about explaining everything. They didnt rush me out of my appointment and the piercing was super quick and its healing great!

Went there with a friend to have piercing done. When I developed excessive swelling and irritation Drew bent over backwards helping me find the right size piercing that would accommodate the swelling while I healed. Eventually wound up going and for a total of 3 jewelry changes in one month. Drew was always courteous and polite, and answered all of my questions and concerns as the professional that he is. Im starting to consider a tattoo and will definitely be going to see Drew

This is the best place to get pierced in Las Cruces. I have had my nostril repierced here, and I have also had my septum pierced for the first time here. I highly recommend this shop. For instance, I scheduled an emergency appointment today to get a new, ill-fitting nostril stud reshaped. I had bought a piece of jewelry online and inserted it, blasting through my fistula and causing swelling, redness, bleeding, and pain. Drew had a kind bedside manner as he removed the piece of warped metal, reshaped it, replaced it into my nose, and advised me for aftercare as well as future jewelry decisions. Everyone who works here is extremely personable and knowledgeable. I am a nervous and curious person by nature, and everyone at DNA Ink Tattoo and Piercing has shown me that they are scientifically sound in their practices as well as interpersonally compassionate, professionally experienced, and more than willing to listen to your specific needs.I have wanted to get several new piercings done over the years, but I have refrained due to lack of professionals. Well, now Ive found them. As somebody who is trained in sterile technique, I can attest that these people are more than just professionals -- they are experts.Ill be back! I just went yesterday to get my cartilage pierced and I have to say the service was awesome. I went and and was given a thorough rundown on everything from what I was signing to how it would be pierced to the pros and cons of each type of earring they could pierce with. Both of them were extremely helpful and ready to give me an answer to all of the questions I asked without missing a beat. Neither minded answering questions about their own tattoos and piercings and experience. Absolutely no complaints. A+++

As someone who has over 50 tattoos I consider myself somewhat of a collector. I’ve been to some incredible shops and had work done by some well known artists and consider Drew at DNA to be right up there among the very best. My visit was nothing short of perfect. Highly recommend.

Loved it here!!! She makes you feel comfortable, walks you through what shes going to do and I highly recommend if you want any piercings to come here. My family and friends all come here and love how professional the lady works here.

Very friendly, professional, and clean. They were upfront about the cost, talked me through the entire process and let me know how long it would take to heal. They made sure I understood how to take care of my piercing and sent me home with instructions, thankfully, because I forgot most of what I was told. Id recommend getting a piercing here!

I went to DNA Ink to get my Diath piercing and had a great experience. Drew did my piecing but I wholly believe that the reassurance I received from the great gall upfront was what cinched it for me. The service was great, the place itself was comfortable and clean, and the procedure was accurately and beautifully placed. I love my new jewelry and I will go back very very soon to do the other side, for esthetic purposes other than migraine induced ones! Great experience!! ☆☆☆☆☆

Customer service is everything when I go to an establishment and these people were extremely rude, in addition to being unskilled.The piercer was not friendly at all and told us all the care instructions in a extremely fast auctioneers voice because he didnt care if we actually knew the instructions, he just wanted to get us out of there. I have heard he does that with everyone. Also, the woman at the front desk was very rude too. When we walked in she made no move to greet us, ask what we needed, or if we had any questions and ignored us the entire time except to give us forms to fill out.Also, the piercer is very bad at his job. I came in to get a labret piercing and he grabbed my lip really hard and found it necessary to shove the needle in forcefully. He obviously doesnt know what he is doing because a hollow needle does all the work for you. By contrast, when I got my first labret piercing at a different shop I didnt even feel the needle go in -- there was absolutely no pain and thats how it should be. As a result of his roughness MY PIERCING TOOK A LONG TIME TO HEAL AND GOT INFECTED. That absolutely did not happen when I got my other one put in. And my friends also got infected to the point where he had to take them out!Overall, the thing that bothered me most wasnt the lack of skill, but the blatant rudeness. I hate shops like this one because I want to feel like I am in a welcoming and comfortable environment when I am trusting someone to perform a body modification on me, and these guys just want your money and for you to get out.

Ive got most my piercings at DNA ink and I HIGHLY recommend them! Their staff is awesome, and very welcoming. Very professional and great service! Drew is a super patient dude. 10/10.

Very professional and comfortable. As a woman, I feel that having safe comfortable space to get pierced or tattooed is huge, and having a piercer who is not creepy is a relief. Great shop! Only shop I will get pierced at.

I got my belly button, forward helix & regular helix done all at DNA & all 3 piercings healed very quickly. Prices are great & the people are very professional. I recommend to anyone looking to get a piercing

I have gone to DNA a couple times to get piercings and they always do a fantastic job. They are very good at explaining to you whats going to happen and how you need to take care of your piercing. I highly recommend this place for piercings

Unfortunately I didnt have the best experience at DNA. I went to get my nipples re-pierced and my Philtrum pierced. The nipple piercings were not a bad experience, one was a lot more uncomfortable than the other. But the philtrum piercing was a bit of a bad experience since the jewelry was sitting crooked the first time he pierced it. Then he had me sit back down and I thought he was changing the jewelry or something but there was a lot of pain followed by the piercer telling me he had to clip a bit of skin for the piercing to sit correctly... This seemed odd to me.So that night I had the piercing done the philtrum jewelry came out while I was asleep, and one nipple ended up with a massive blood blister and it bled a lot more than what is normal for my body, since I had them done before and I barely even bruised or bled.I did contact the shop and was told I could get my jewelry put back in but I wasnt really interested in that, I asked for a refund and have still not received a reply.. which is upsetting since I have experienced situations where friends have been refunded for far less unfortunate situations. Oh well.Still a clean shop and Im sure others have better experiences... I understand that things can go wrong I just think taking responsibility is important. Especially since I have quite a lot of body mods and Ive never experienced any issues before...

BEST PLACE FOR MY FIRST TATTOO!!!Got my first tattoo there it was the best experience i could had had for my first time. Great tattoo artists and amazing ideas and very helpful and understanding. It was a hibiscus with great color and perfect size.

Anita recently did a rib piece for me and it was a fantastic experience! Very clean and comfortable shop. Excellent work, Im loving my new piece, planning on going in for another tattoo real soon!

My nostril stud (from another piercer) fell out of my nose and I was kind of freaked about it. Drew helped me select jewelry and inserted it for me and was calming, kind, courteous, and professional. Five stars, will definitely go back.

I went there in March to get a double helix piercing and my first time there was great everyone was nice and when I sat down to get the piercing drew explained everything he was doing and showed me that everything was Starle and clean. Im going again to get a industrial piercing. DNA is probably the only place I trust to get a piercing.

Got three ear piercings, was a bit nervous but Drew asks if you have any concern or fears great guy and helped calm the nerves I’d recommend going to him also very clean and good environment.

I got my industrial piercing here and it was a great expierence! The workers were very patient and kind. I also recieved a lot of information on how to care for my piercing. 5/5 recomend!

They didn’t check for anatomy, the guy pierced a blood vessel in my nose and i was gushing blood for 2 weeks. not worth it.
