Lucky Needle Tattoo Merch Shop

Theres so many positive things to say about this wonderful little shop, it pops with personality and love even from the stairway. The second you step foot inside you feel welcomed like a member of the family. This was my first experience getting a tattoo and Id truly choose the same given the opportunity. From reassurance and support during the session; to the hospitality and care after. The merch section as well is absolutely incredible and lush with amazing products. The lucky needle is my go to if I get any more cravings for some new ink in my skin.

Keena did such an amazing job on a tattoo I have been wanting for over 10 years now. What could have been a really complicated design turned out to be a super collaborative and great experience; she took my vision and put her personal touch for a beautiful finished project. On top of that, the space was super relaxed, she made sure I was comfortable in every way, she had the cutest aftercare package put together, and Im pretty positive Ill be going back to her again in the future.

Keena is Amazingly Awesome!! She is attentive to details. I’m very picky when it comes go my body and her work spoke volumes. She has done two of my tattoos. 5 if you count each Ninja Turtle as one Tattoo because each has their own special characteristics. She also did Princess Aurora on my chest in dedication to my Cousin Aurora who passed away. She did Aurora for me on February 20, 2020. My Birthday Gift to myself. & she did my TMNT on March 10, 2020.

Got this fantastic tattoo today at the Lucky Needle! Keena came up with this great image and carefully applied it, explaining what she was doing with each step. It was a wonderful experience and Ill definitely be coming back once I figure out what I want next! The shop is beautiful and conveniently located in the Downtown Mall, too, which just made everything that much better. Highly recommend the Lucky Needle!

I was nervous and she was very calming and communicated very well everything that was going on. During the actual tattoo she was amazing very friendly and had a light hand so that made it better, especially it being my first. Overall she was amazing and her tattoo shop is awesome would definitely recommend to others!

The shop is absolutely adorable, and just has the best selection of clothing, accessories, supplies, and more -- something for everyone inside the gift shop, and the tattoo talent is second to none! Its the perfect spot to stop in at during the Farmers Markets, too :)

Best tattoo and gift/arts shop I have ever had the pleasure of visiting . Neena is the kindest most patient and thorough tattoo artist I have ever worked with. Neena took my idea and made it wonderful. She walks you through each step which made me feel safe and informed. She also listened to my nervous talking for 3 hours and was kind about it. Absolutely AMAZING! The artist and her husband were so extraordinary--both at their jobs and as humans and artists! I took my mom to get her first tattoo and got one myself and they absolutely pampered her and I. She felt so safe and comfortable and it was seriously the perfect first tattoo experience for her, and one of my best thus far! She also hid my lucky number subtly in my tattoo just as I requested 💛 I will 100% be going back for another at some point -- not to mention their shop and art are also INCREDIBLE. 10/10 all the way ✨

What an experience 🥰 walking around everything is so full of vibrancy and color and creative just like the owners. Incredibly sweet and knowledgeable on the craft and of hospitality. This was my first tattoo, so going I was so greatful for the transparency! Every step of the way felt very safe. Definitely going to be the first place I consider moving forward, it will be exciting to see what they hold in store in the coming years! In the end in the end it was like Asian spa meet grandmas house (in a great way!) so it was just total good vibes and lovely conversation ☺️

This place is wonderful! I had my first tattoo here and I will say I wasnt disappointed. The tattoo artist was really gentle and kind. Specially with the fact that my tattoo has extreme personal meaning. She explained everything so that I wouldnt be afraid of it as it was my first tattoo. The place is extremely comfortable and has their mascot to hold in case of needed support! For anyone that wants an amazing first experience for their tattoo I would 100% recommend this place for it. Keena is the best tattoo artist i’ve ever had. she makes sure that when you book a session the room is private and comfortable. plays relaxing music. and offers food and drink if needed for longer sessions. she has the lightest hand and still has the best detail and craft i’ve ever seen. love love love! and will continuously go back

She has a great new location downtown that is so comfortable and open. She’s so friendly and happy and makes the best of the time with you, making sure you’re happy with the results of her hard work. This was my very first tattoo and Im so glad to have come to Lucky Needle. The artist is kind and very gentle. Tattoo process was quick and the aftercare instructions were very thorough. Its been two weeks and my tattoo is almost fully healed! I had such a great experience from the time I sent in my tattoo idea until the time I walked out of the shop. I’ve known Keena for many years. While I could speak all day on what a truly amazing person she is I know I should be talking about her tattoos and her beautiful work. Keena took the time to help me come up with a way to cover an unfinished old tattoo. She not only finished an unsightly tattoo but she turned it into a beautiful piece that is now all it’s own. Lucky needle has the kindest artist who really listens and brings your vision to life with an incredible style! It’s difficult to find a shop that really understands true Japanese style. Lucky needle is one of the only shops in the southwest that I feel can truly Ace this look then elevate it! I love the art and hope to go back for an other soon.

I haven’t gotten to get a tattoo from them yet but I’ve known the owners for more than 10 years. You’ll never meet anyone nicer than them and I’ve witnessed their talent evolve from basic sketches to the art they’re able to apply to skin. I trust them more than any tattooist I’ve previously had.
