Porter House Ink Piercing & Tattoo

Came in for a memorial piece during a hard time and had the best experience of any of my tattoos. Billy’s wife, Andrea, was an absolute gem with answering my questions and helping with getting us in without much notice. Billy was fantastic to work with. I gave him a very vague idea of what I wanted and the design turned out better than I could ever have hoped for. The line work is honestly the best I have ever seen. Billy also added in small touches to make the tattoo even more special and meaningful, which was done freehand and is beyond amazing. The tattoo was fast and easy. We felt very welcome in the shop, this is such an accommodating place to go. Would absolutely recommend this shop!

I got my daughter’s ears pierced here by Andrea who is the owner. She was incredible! Very kind, professional, and explained the whole process and make my daughter very comfortable. Would 10/10 recommend this place over Claire’s! It is as also very reasonable and came gorgeous earrings!

Billy was amazing to work with. I had a general idea of what I wanted and he turned it into art. The tattoo is phenomenal, better than what I wanted. The lines are so delicate and so clean. The process was quick and smooth without feeling rushed at any point. This is my seventh tattoo and was the best experience Ive had.

Absolutely incredible service! Went to another shop in town to get my belly pierced and they did not do a good job at all! I was pierced to high and the bar was way too small. Came here and the service was so much better, I felt no judgment when asking questions and the wonderful piercer fixed me right up, no charge! Thank you so much! I took my baby here to get her and my ears pierced. Andrea was AMAZING and I highly recommend!! She explained everything, placed the earrings perfectly, and had lots of patience and care with my wiggly babe. She was very careful and clean and put me at ease.

We drove 45 minutes just to take my daughter here for a piercing. They did a fantastic job and all staff was professional and polite. Absolutely love this place! My mom and sister in law wanted to get piercings today on our girls day and they got us right in! I decided last minute to get one too and I was so nervous it would hurt, everyone was so kind and reassuring and it ended up not hurting! I can’t wait to come back and visit and either get a tattoo or another piercing! I forgot our piercers name, but she and her husband are the owners! I had such a great experience and I never want to go anywhere else! Thank you guys so much!

Made an appointment to get my ear pierced and it was a smooth and easy process. Andrea was an amazing piercer who walked me through the entire process. She was gentle and sterile. Highly recommend!

I walked in they greeted me right away got me in the same day. Teddy did my work of art he did such a great job and was quick. And went back for two more tattoos two days later and teddy got me in right away. They are nice welcoming cool people. Must go if your wanting beautiful tattoos and them done with creativeness. You can show teddy a picture of what you want or the other tattoo artist and they will add more details to make them even better.

Great team full of great welcoming people. Called for a walk in and they took me immediately. Got a lip tattoo that another shop told me they needed “special equipment” to do in stead of just sayings they couldn’t do it. And initials on my side. Overall amazing experience. Billy does great clean work! Will be back!

I was visiting Las Cruces with a friend and we both went in for walk ins with Curtis. He said he “wasn’t a fan” of finger tattoos but did them anyway and I feel that he did a poor job because of that. If you don’t like doing a certain kind of tattoo, then maybe don’t do it. He used the same stencil on four of my fingers and yet all the stars look different, with some lines being too long, unevenly thick, and unevenly spaced. I also had to ask him to fix the center of the sun after he said he was finished because it was completely not circular. In this picture they are healing so I realize they look crusty, but besides that the line work is crazy. I didn’t say much in the shop because what was he gonna do? Remove them? I have a removal consultation booked already :/

Billy is an incredibly talented artist! He took the time to understand my vision and brought it to life with amazing detail. His line work is crisp and the shading is flawless. Went to get my girlfriend a back piece and Curtis was such a cool guy he was super friendly and made sure we were all comfortable and kept us entertained the whole time with stories and stuff i will definitely be coming here for my own tats in the future

I’d just like to say that I got my septum and left nostril pierced here and it was one of the best experiences!! 🥰 When you walk in everyone is very welcoming and the place has a badass vibe to it. Andrea did my piercings and she was so sweet and helpful throughout the whole process, she told me about everything she was doing and explained as she did it and made sure everything was clean and sanitized, even making sure I was okay after each one which made me feel so much better cause of my anxiety. She even did a lil dancey dance with me after the doing the septum piercing 😆 I was nervous at first about the septum piercing but she made me feel confident about everything. I love the piercings so much and I’d definitely recommend her to anyone who wanted to get their piercings done as well!! This place is great! The staff is friendly and has great communication! Teddy was so awesome! He knew exactly what I wanted and needed and listened. He touched up a tattoo from 25 years ago perfectly and did a new one on my finger. I had to come back for a touch up in six weeks but was moving so I could not…but came back a year later and he still did it for me. I will be returning for sure!

The piercer did an amazing job. I had a previous bellybutton piercing gone wrong that I had to remove, and I wanted it redone. She walked me through everything and explained what went wrong and made sure it wouldn’t happen again. She was extremely gentle and kind and everything went so smooth. Best piercer I have ever been to. Highly recommend this place!

My two friends and I went here to get some piercings with Andrea and she was wonderful!Between the three of us we got a daith piercing, a helix piercing, and ear lobes pierced. Andrea knows what shes doing - she explained the piercing process to us and all the care instructions. For my piercing I was wanting to minimize risk of infection as I had surgery 5 week ago and she used some jewelry with more breathing room to help this. Were all very happy with our piercings!Also - very LGBT friendly, which is important to my friend group :)

Drove an hour from Las Cruces. Called Porter House Ink and spoke to Andrea. She was super sweet and offered to get me in for some ear piercings as a walk-in. When I arrived, they were busy but I didnt have to wait. Andrea helped me decide on which piercings to get. We ended up going with a forward helix and a flat, both on my right ear. Pain was not too bad, and it only took about 20 minutes. I would recommend this place, and Andrea, to anyone looking to get some piercing done.

I had an impulsive urge to get a couple of piercings today and called to see if they had any openings. Dre was so nice and was able to fit me in. She is very thoughtful with the placing of both piercings, and each piercing turned out even better than I could’ve ever imagined!My pain tolerance is actually nonexistent, but she was very understanding and was so nice, even when I started hyperventilating BEFORE she picked up the needle.Super great woman and super great job. I am very happy with my piercings and the kind of person she is :)

My daughter asked to take her somewhere to get a nose and belly piercing. I didn’t know where to go. I ended choosing this place. Cannot be grateful enough to let you all know that the lady that did her piercings is such a professional. She was also kind and made us feel safe. It was a smooth process. She did an amazing job. Really impressed with how good Curtis has gotten with his work. I’ve been getting tattooed from him before he was In a tattoo shop. Although every tattoo I have gotten from him has been on point, he just keeps getting better and better and better. He takes his work very serious. After getting the tattoo from him, he check up on you to make sure everything is still looking good and your still as happy as you were when you left the shop. I had a wonky piercing done by someone in my small town, and Andrea fixed it and made it so beautiful! I just drove 2 hours to get my second piercing done by her and its perfection. Its so worth seeing piercers that know what theyre doing but are also so kind and have great follow through! 10/10 recommend!

AVOID this place for piercing purposes at all costs. I had a healed nostril piercing I went to get a ring put in. After not even knowing how to get my stud out and the person chewing gum with an open mouth right by my piercing the whole time, they opened my pre-owned $90 gold ring incorrectly, thereby effectively ruining it from ever being able to be used in a piercing again. It’s not even a circle anymore. They then proceeded to not clean the hoop and said they thought it would be too small for my piercing but that they were going to try anyway. They jammed it through, reinjuring my piercing horribly to basically be a fresh piercing, but significantly more irritated. They then said that they got it in, but it was too small to close, so they’d just leave the open edge on the inside part of my nostril. I was bleeding as I left and went to a shop in El Paso to get it assessed, who were absolutely appalled at what they had done to my piercing. DONT GO HERE.

Andrea is so amazing, not only did she help me when not even the shop i went to would, but she helped me save my piercing and she could have just told me to take out it and charge me for a new a one. she is hands down the best

The piercer, Andrea, is absolutely top notch! 10/10 recommend. I was driving through from out of state after shortly having a labret changed to a hoop unknowingly too early! My lip was horribly swollen and in need of changing back to a bar. I couldnt have chosen a better piercer. Andrea was so kind, patient, and talented. Although my lip wasnt infected, I was afraid it would close and no longer be able to have a piercing. She did a great job and her prices are good as well. I dont think anyone could have done a better job than she did. Thank you, Andrea!

Ill start by saying this shop is CLEAN and professional and every artist is so friendly and welcoming which is pretty rare in tattoo shops. Ive been to many and never felt more at home in this shop. Next the ink…I BLOWN away by the work Teddy did on me. As an apprentice I expected way less but his line work, shading and precision on the mandala he did looks like hes been tattooing for way longer than he has. This screams not only that he has talent but that he’s being taught by the. best of the best. Id trust anyone in there to work on me. Grateful to have given my trust to Teddy and will be coming back for a lot more work

My 3 friends and I walked in on Monday evening for a group tattoo since we had a friend in from Maine and needed it done ASAP! Dre was able to accommodate us and Billy did our Tats. I came in from out of town today and both of the holes in my ears had closed up and I had been wanting to get them repierced, I called and Andrea was so nice and said it was no problem getting me in today and gave me an amazing price and gorgeous studs as well! Billy is the artist I’ll be coming to with all my tattoos. He touched up a tattoo I had gotten recently that the artist who did it was going to charge me a 100 dollar rescheduling fee and an extra 80 “wasting his time” because I had a family emergency and had to leave.(I paid him in full prior to him starting so it’s not like I didn’t pay him all of what he charged me) and did a last minute tattoo at 10 pm. I felt very accommodated, respected, gave me more than what I expected, and didn’t make me feel like an idiot about where I wanted the tattoo or the add on I wanted with the tattoo. And my cousin who doesn’t speak a lot of English made her feel right at home because he obviously knows Spanish so para mi gente que quieren tatuajes y les de vergüenza por qué no hablan bien el inglés vente aquí con mi compa Billy. Les recomiendo mucho a Billy! So once again BILLY is top tier and my tattoo artist and his shop are better than yours and if you’re not getting your tattoos at his shop, then WHERE TF YOU AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!

Wonderful experience! I had gotten my Daith piercing stuck, and I have had it for years (pierced at another place that is closed on Tuesdays). I walked in, and the woman (wish I wouldve gotten her name) helped me right away. She was even on her way out but stopped to help me because my piercing site looked swollen, and she didnt want to leave me like that. She didnt turn me away and she was very tentative. I can only imagine how they are to actual clients if I was just a walk-in! I will definitely be getting my next piercing at Porter House! Thank you so much!

Andrea is the sweetest, most genuine piercer I’ve met. Not only did she pierce my ears, she also went over and beyond to help heal up an irritated piercing that I got from another shop. She is very polite, professional, and genuine with her work. Everyone else in the shop was super friendly and welcoming.

Took my daughter to get her nose pierced and Andrea was super nice. As soon as we walked in we felt very comfortable and welcomed. She did an amazing job! I came in as a walk-in on a Saturday which was super busy. I was just getting something small. Everyone there was super friendly and made you feel very comfortable!Teddy was able to squeeze me in and recommend Curtis to my aunt who needed a bigger piece done. I loved my work by teddy he drew something up in a couple minutes and didn’t take long to do it at all. He’s super skilled as an apprentice wouldn’t even have known he was otherwise! Clean work! The environment was super chill (you forget you’re getting a tat tbh) and they were very professional. We went back today to get my aunts from Curtis who was amazing. He recommended a different outlook to my aunt which showed he cares about his work and how it would look on her. They came up with a plan and he executed it beautifully. He too made us very comfortable. Love the team work from the owners to the artists trickle down and full professionalism through & through! 3 of us have tats by them now booked for more. Definitely be my go to spot! Don’t waste you time anywhere else!

I cannot be happier with my tattoos I received from Curtis Alemany with Porterhouse Ink! The entire group is professional, courteous and it is obvious they work well as a team. They listen to your ideas and let you know if it works as a tattoo; if not, they get you something close you’ll be happy with. The shop is clean and even though I have been many times all the paperwork is discussed as well as the aftercare.

I had searched extensively for a tattoo artist in El Paso, but I was not able to find one suitable for the ink I wanted. Then I decided to look up some shops in Las Cruces and thats when I found Porter House Ink. I saw all their amazing work online, especially Billy who is great with his line work and attention to details. I made my appointment and I got my tattoo exactly how I wanted it. I just recently got my second piece done by Billy. Needless to say, I am more than happy to make the 45 minute drive from El Paso everytime to get my Ink done here. Plus Billy and his crew are very friendly and super lively. Also, his wife, Andrea, is absolutely amazing! She was able to get me in earlier than expected for my first tattoo, and I was very grateful for it. Thank you all so much!

I took my daughter to get piercings done and our experience there was so awesome. The people were so friendly and they genuinely care about your overall well-being. My daughter wanted a piercing on her belly button and the lady would not do it because it couldnt be done on my daughter cuz it would potentially tear and get infected. Went in for second lobe peircing after having kinda messed up uneven first lobes. Andrea was super honest and helped me even out the peircings, it was done quickly and didnt irritate my sensitive skin at all.

I highly recommend this shop! Eli was amazing and scheduled me an appointment the same day I went into the shop. He is the only artist in town, out of 10 that I spoke with that week, who made time to do my tattoo and not try to schedule me out weeks later. I needed a cover-up done on my wrist right away and Eli came through with amazing work! He was super fast, had great prices, line work is incredible, and was very light handed. If you visit this shop ask for Eli!

Nostril piercing. The piercing technician is never there. Very unprofessional. Kids and random people conversing passing through the room. Im already nervous as is. Dont need so many people around. Also didnt go over after care. Kept asking on what to do but kept shrugging me off. Called a few weeks later for a bigger bar due to swelling. she doesnt carry bigger sizes. What if you have a customer who needs a bigger size? I did however kept going back to the shop and asking to see her to check on my nose piercing due to the swelling but she was always busy... Too bad she was a nice lady on the other hand. Just doesnt want to do her job 😂

Teddy is one of the best when it comes to tattoos. He’s done most of my art and every time he always seems to improve and get better and better. I’d highly recommend Porter House and especially Teddy. If y’all need any tattoos hit my boy up.💯
