Took our whole work crew here after work for piercings and tatts. It was amazing and we had soo much fun with the staff. The place is soo clean and everything was soo organized and fast!! We will be back.

So Ana and Victor own this place right in the mall. Its super easy to get to if u just come in the front of the mall there a couple of shops down on the right. I like I can get in and out without having to walk all over the mall!! Everybody is super nice and very helpful!! I got my nose pierced by Ana who is well educated about anything piercing! Alex did my tattoo, so I already had one on my chest but wanted to liven it up and add to it. Let me say he went above and beyond for the price I payed!! The place is very clean and sterile. Very well set up and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a piercing or tattoo!! 5 Stars guys!!😁

The atmosphere at Pain is Beautiful is very professional, clean, and comfortable. I was greeted and helped immediately when I arrived. I got a cartilage piercing and it was a great experience. I was very happy with the jewelry selection, quality, and prices. I am very happy with my new piercing!

They did such a awesome job I would so go back to them wanting to get my nose pierced thinking that might be the place. I could do it at also planning on my second tattoo and that’s the place. I’m going to very clean and they were awesome.

Ana is the sweetest!! She pierced my helix and was super fast! All of the staff was very friendly, we had a great time! If in Lexington ever again, I would go back.

Ive had most of my tattoos done here aswell as My nose piercing , staff is really friendly and respectful. I have no bad things to say about these guys . They can be real busy but if your patient they will get to you and whatever you may be wanting done . Highly recommend & will be back .

An absolutely incredible experience!!!! Ana pierced my 15 year olds upper lobe and did a fantastic job. She is kind, professional, informative, uses relaxation strategies for the piercing, and as my daughter said- “she is remarkable“. Her husband took time to put a temporary tattoo on my 3 year old. Highly recommend!

ANA GOT ME RIGHT. Ana is hands down the best piercer I’ve ever encountered and I’ve encountered A LOT. She’s so gentle. She cares about how you’re feeling with every move she makes. She’s so easy to talk to and her recommendations are on point. She caters to your faces needs. I love her so much😭

Literally some of the nicest people ever!I’ve gotten a few piercings there which healed amazing! I’ve also gotten my tattoos there which look amazing! I highly recommend going here! They explain everything they do and ALWAYS make sure you know to call if you have any questions at all!!

Just got my septum pierced here!! everyone was super nice and my piercer was pretty chill abt me being nervous. i love it sm genuinely am so happy. great first experience for my first facial piercing, def recommend!!!

I got my double helix done in August of last year so almost a year ago. I went today to a different place cause it was closer to where I lived. I got my thirds done and when she went to clean my piercing (the one I got done today) on the side my double helix is on she noticed the back of the top one was fully in-bedded in my ear. I had to go to the hospital and get it surgically removed. It wasn’t due to improper care it was because when it was pierced instead of giving me a longer bar they just gave me a small bar that you would get after there was no more swelling. I went back to them once about the problem and they said it would be fine and sent me on my way. They also over charged me a lot. They also overcharged my brother for a tattoo that should not have been $400. I guess to afford the expensive mall rent.I don’t recommend going.

There’s isn’t a BETTER PLACE FOR A TATTOO IN KENTUCKY .All Artist are Very professional and have Great positive energy in the whole facility. Ana did this CUTE septum piercing for me today! The whole environment was clean and decorated so neat. She was extremely professional, sterile, and gentle!

This tattoo and piecing shop are the best around! I will not go to anybody else because they make me feel so comfortable and they know their clients. The work they do is amazing. Couldn’t ask for a better team.

A friend and I were in Lexington and decided to get tattoos last minute before heading out of town. We had a hard time finding a shop that would truly accept a walk in! They have the nicest and most attractive crew ever seen!! The piercer is absolutely amazing she’s very friendly and calming! I got a jewelry change on my lip and one in my tongue an it was 10x cheaper than anywhere I’ve ever been for a jewelry change and they have the most beautiful jewelry to pick from!!

I do not recommend this place. DO NOT TRUST THEM. I paid for a tattoo drawing and was scheduled to get my tattoo and the artist canceled the day off. He gave me the run around for weeks. Then I came back weeks later. And the new artist that was here told me they would do my drawing and again several weeks later I still haven’t received any drawing. I messaged the artist and he said it’s not my problem I’m not the owner. So I came in person only for the owner to say they don’t refund deposits. Even thought their artist is the one that cancelled and never delivered on the tattoo. The artist will be nice and tell you whatever but in the end it doesn’t matter. They have bad customer service. If you’re gonna get your tattoo done in the moment you walk in great but never trust them with a so called deposit.

Had an AMAZING experience opening weekend here. Ana was absolutely wonderful and I Love my septum piercing. I will 100% be back for all my piercing needs. If you havent checked this shop out, youre missing out.

My daughter just got her ears pierced for her 4th birthday, and I was blown away by the skill and care they took talking her through the whole process and the actual piercing. It was done in seconds and she had a smile on her face the whole time. She’s had no pain/redness or swelling and I would recommend this place to anyone!

My wife had been wanting a Daith piercing and while in the mall we stumbled apon pain is beautiful. The shop itself is very inviting and the atmosphere is warm.. while we waited I struck up a conversation with some of the employees about anime and we had a great time sharing faves while my wife got her piercing. Great work, friendliness, and fair pricing make this shop a must visit for those needing any service they offer.

Got my bellybutton done here; prices are a set process price varying on if it’s face/body which I really liked, piercer was about to leave when I walked in and still stayed to do the piercing which I’m extremely grateful for. She was extremely quick and remained patient with me though my anxiety elongated the process. Had I not gotten that immediate temporary regret you feel after a piercing or tattoo I would’ve praised her a lot more for the perfect job. If she sees this, I love it and thank you so much! 10/10 would come here again.

Only place I trust for my piercings! Ana is amazing and the absolute BEST!!!! She makes sure to explain what she is doing and why she does what she does. She always makes sure to place the appropriate jewelry sizing and type in order to allow space for swelling to aid in proper healing. If you have any questions about how your piercing is healing she is more than willing to take a look and help in any and every way she can! If you are wanting a trustworthy place to have piercings done I cannot recommend Pain is Beautiful and Ana enough!

Ive had tattoos and piercing here and they were amazing! The people that work here are awesome and super helpful. Its very clean with a great atmosphere! This is my new goto place for everything!

This is the only shop I go to, to get my piercings and I have quiet a few.Their piercer is the best, cant speak for the tattoos yet, but I plan on getting some ink there in the future :) will be back to write a review on that!!

I went in on 10/6 to get a nose piercing because I noticed their Halloween sale (great deal by the way). It was my first ever piercing (besides earlobes) and I was reasonably anxious about it. Victor, the owner, was extremely comforting and ensured me for what seemed to be 20 minutes that I was going to be okay but also not pressuring me to get the piercing. The piercer (who I unfortunately didn’t catch the name of) was patient with me and answered any of my questions and was extremely quick with the piercing. I highly recommended Pain Is Beautiful for its welcoming staff/owner, the store is also very clean and has good vibes!

My 8 year old daughter had her ears pierced here for her birthday and we had a great experience. They are so friendly, polite, professional, clean and great with children. The piercer was so kind and took her time making my daughter feel comfortable through the entire process. She was quick and explained every step from start to finish.

I went here because my usual piercer was not working and my shop recommended them. I got my tongue done and the lady who did it was very sweet. I tend to get dizzy when getting piercing and forgot to give her a warning but she handled it like a champ. I felt safe getting any piercing done by her. I 100% recommend this place.

Ok I know this sounds odd to be in the mall BUT the owner of pain is beautiful in the mall has YEARS of experience as a piercer! I went in not looking for much. I had both bottom lobes pierced at pagoda in the mall 15 years ago. One side had scar tissue and the other was too close to my original hole. She explained what she thought was best to fix it. She also included piercing grade titanium earrings with an extra long post (to accommodate for any swelling) and told me to come back in 6 weeks to get it shortened. I’ve had piercings done before but swear this one healed up in a week. I was shocked. Not to mention, they don’t even hurt!!!! I can’t recommend her enough

I walked in and asked for an industrial piercing. They asked me to come back in an hour. Everybody was super friendly. Everything looked really clean and sterile, kind of like a doctor’s office. I paid $100 before the tip; I’m not sure how that compares to other places. But I’m stoked with the results and plan on going back for my nose piercing!!

The piercer, Anna, was very sweet and informative. She was quick and it was relatively well priced!

Went in to get my eyebrow and lip pierced, which was reasonably priced. All employees were very polite and friendly. The place was clean. Ill be going back to get some tattoos done as what Ive seen, the artists there have amazing talent.

Had a really great experience here today! The owners were able to answer all of my questions and discuss what would be the best for my piercing request. The other staff were friendly and knowledgeable too. The place itself was clean and welcoming. The piercing was quick and easy and I will definitely go back for future piercings or tattoos!

After learning that Pain is Beautiful allows ear piercings on children who are old enough to ask for them, I brought my five year old daughter to get her ears pierced for the very first time. She has been wanting it done for awhile now, and was super happy with the end results. They did an amazing job on making sure she knew what was happening every step of the way, which I truly appreciated. I recommend checking them out!

This was my real first tattoo… I got a butterfly on my hip to cover up a butterfly tattoo a had got back in middle school. You can still see the old tattoo sticking out from the new one which was disappointing. I was depending on his creativity and didn’t get that. He just copied exactly how the outline looked (which didn’t look like the pictures I sent) I would pay 1 million dollars to fix this tattoo… it’s not HORRIBLE but it’s not what I ASKED FOR and it’s definitely not professional. Maybe he was new there. Other than that the place is fantastic just make sure you ask about experience and ask to see there work… I got a piercing here and they are amazing
