I recently got a tattoo done by Chad. I came in maybe an hour and a half before closing as a walk in and they had me ready to go by 15 minutes. Chad did an amazing job and was cracking jokes the whole time being a really funny guy. You can tell he takes pride is his work and did an amazing job on such a sudden notice. I’d recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice calm atmosphere and friendly people while getting a tattoo done.

Everyone there was amazing! Clyde did such a great job with my tattoos. He did exactly what I was looking for and made perfect suggestions. I couldn’t be happier. Botched my wife’s belly piercing and refused to offer refund. Wanted to redo the whole procedure. People here seem to lack professionalism and understanding.Called owner and was told a list of excuses as to why they don’t issue money back after the piercer clearly didn’t know what he was doing. Come to find out he gets fired shortly afterwards. Hmmm think his name was Koda…Mr. Patrick(owner) was kind of a jerk when I called to ask about my money back for the botched piercing, and really needs to take responsibility for his company’s actions and failures.Will never return and you guys be cautious of them.You know I normally review food but this hasn’t to stop.

I got my first tattoo ever from Mandy and was pretty nervous but she made me feel right at home. Both extremely professional with her work and super friendly! I loved my experience and time there and left with a tattoo I adore! I will absolutely be going back to her when the time comes for my 2nd! ♡

This has to be one of the best tattoo shops in Kentucky the tattoo artists are very talented they can help you bring your idea to life. This is a very safe clean and sanitary shop. My lady and I both got tattoos from the artist named Shane!!! I have had multiple great experiences here with Mandy. She helped me feel confident about the placement of my piercing, and has been very friendly and accommodating for several tattoo appointments. I can be somewhat picky, but she has been nothing but professional and kind. Definitely recommend!

Im very unhappy with my tattoo. Gary did it and I expected it to look realistic and spooky but for $500 I got a black jumbled mess that Ill have to get blacked out because Im so embarrassed. I do not recommend and Im never going back

I called to see how much to re-color older tattoos. The clerk said go on the website pick your artist. Not going to mention the artist that works with color. But I sent the pic to Instagram. The artist ask questions for two days on the 4 day of not getting a price or appointment. I responded thanks for your time I will find someone else. Go luck with your business. Glad I didnt pass my money out.

I got double nose piercings done by Christina. I originally had an existing hole done, and she took the time to listen to what I wanted. From there it was determined it was best to start fresh with the double piercings based on what I want to wear in the future. I am also from out of state. With that I felt she took the extra time to make sure I was pleased with everything before I left the shop. She made it as painless as possible. I wish I could make this shop my home base! If I’m ever in the area again, I will definitely be back!

Went to get 4 piercings in one go. You can walk in with no appointments but there is a chance there are no piercers there at the time and you’ll have to come back later. Piercing itself went very well, Mandy was nice and professional but not very friendly.

Clyde was the artist who tattooed me and my friend. He was very professional and kind. Clyde took my vision of a tattoo and made it even better. He is creative and knows his skill well. The environment was clean and sterile. I saw the artist clean up and sterilize their respective environments multiple times throughout session. The place looks fresh and modern but thats not as important as the safety and quality of work. I highly recommend Clyde and would get another tattoo from him. I hope that you find this recommendation helpful.

All the employees are so nice and friendly, the atmosphere is sooo cool and chic. mandy does my tattoos and piercings & she is by far the best. awesome conversation and amazing artwork! i would recommend this shop to anyone and everyone!

I literally never leave reviews, this is my first one ever but I had to!So me and a friend of mine showed up as a walk in. I was deciding between a couple different designs and I showed the artist (Chad Payne) what I wanted. He proceeded to instantaneously use an upsetting and concerning tone of voice with me. He was impatient and not welcoming in any way. Also wayyy overpriced it.We ended up deciding on one I wanted and Chad completely botched it.He rushed through it and finished super quick. He also used a slur while talking to his coworkers and doing my tattoo.Very rude and cocky artist, not welcoming, seems to not enjoy his job in any capacity, not personable at all.Below is the inspo photo and the tattoo I left with. Im super upset and not excited about my new tattoo at all.

I would 100% recommend Kyra. Her work is amazing!! I will definitely go back to her in the future. Shes the type of artist, that her work and attitude will speak for itself.

Got my industrial and my chest pierced. I have to say many wonderful things about Julee, from the amazing sense of humor she has, the comfort and ease in which she handled my anxiety of getting the literal most painful piercing possible, and the educating that she took the time to give me about getting my chest pierced. She told me how piercers should & should not handle these piercings, which i believe is very important considering the location of them. She made me laugh, I felt at home with her, & I will absolutely go back as soon as I can when I can figure out what else to get pierced lol. & Julee, if you’re reading, i’m the girl that kept mentioning Gordon Ramsey. She is truly talented as well as wonderful overall. Everyone who i spoke to there was kind, amazing, and very easy to talk to.

I booked an appointment with Shane. He had me come in for a consultation and he would barely pay attention to me cause he was busy tattooing someone else. This was a scheduled consultation by him so you would think he would give you undivided attention when it’s comes to something permanent on your body as should any artist. I came in and the tattoo took double the time he said it would and shouldn’t have with what I got (trust me I know). He also missed spots on my tattoo and went too deep and now my tattoo is raised and sensitive at times. Recommend someone else.

I got my nose piercing about a month ago done by Julee. It was a very good experience. I got it done for my 16th birthday and Julee made me feel very safe and explained the process the entire time. The place is very clean and well decorated with beautiful and interesting pieces of taxidermy. Kid of like walking through the Adam’s family house. Will for sure be back for the rest of my piercings. And will recommend to everyone.

Kyra was amazing. She made sure I was comfortable and relaxed. I love the way my tattoo came out and highly recommend her. She was upfront and honest. We discussed color options and told me how to preserve the color for it to last long opposed to other tattoo artists at other locations who would have just said no to my color choices. I have been using artist Chad Payne for a long time now. He has been nothing, but GREAT to me. I came to him originally with another tattoo that I wanted him to fix and he did a spectacular job. He has been nothing, but professional and hilarious to work with. I now have a full sleeve from him and I am continuing to go to him to start my other tattoo adventures. Chad, I truly thank you for you help and the hospitality towards me.

Juls was the best! i was super nervous for my nipple piercings but she made me comfortable and not insecure. they’re healed now and i had no issues!!!

Got my double nostril done by Mandy at to the grave, she was very professional and clean. She was adamant about making sure she got the two piercings as symmetrical and perfect as possible. She made sure I was comfortable during the process and offered some mints to chew on and water to drink before I got the second one done cause boy did I need a minute after the first. She walked me through all the steps I needed to do to properly care for my piercings. The shop offered a cute selection of studs to choose from. I am ecstatic about my new piercings and could not recommend Mandy and the staff at To the Grave enough! Go get stabbed!

Went yesterday for my first piercing since I got my ears done at 12. Mandy was so calm and kind and talked me through exactly what she was going to do! The shop was clean (it smelled like antiseptic) and had a chill vibe. Thank you for a great experience!

My son got his first tattoo here. It was a simple semi colon that represents something very meaningful and personal to him. He was charged a minimum, which I respect, however the end result turned out crooked and my son eventually had another artist at Tattoo Charlies fix it. She drew a grid on his arm to make sure it was aligned perfectly.

I went to To The Grave to get a piercing. Micah did my piercing and was amazing. She was so professional and made me feel very comfortable. I was extremely nervous, but she worked quickly and made it as easy as she could. I definitely recommend her and would definitely get pierced by her again.

Today was my boyfriend’s birthday and we came here as a walk in and every person I spoke to was kind, knowledgeable and great at their job.The girl we spoke with on the phone was so sweet and helpful, she also went above and beyond with sanitary and cleanliness precautions, had me wash my hands, disinfected my phone and wallet, then helped with all the paper work.My artist The Shane was awesome! His passion shines through his work and my tattoo turned out amazing and I’m so grateful for the effort and patience he put into it.My boyfriend’s artist did a great job too, and though it seemed to take no time to finish it takes nothing away from the quality final product.I would definitely recommend!!

Cristina is amazing at what she does! She done two piercings for me yesterday. The amount of time it took to measure where I wanted pierced & to actually pierce me was phenomenal. We talked all through the piercing process because I was nervous & talking helped. I’m beyond satisfied! This is now my new place for any piercing in the future.

Not worth your time. Went to get the cartilage on my ear pierced. The individual who I had a conversation with was extremely rude. After they stated they could do it they all went to the back and I waited for over an hour. Had another person with me wanting a piercing and they also treated them rude as well.Do better with greeting customers and giving out prices and info.

I got my lobes pierced here for my 16th, and was really nervous. However the vibe of the people who work there helped calm me. My piercer Julee was especially helpful in calming my nerves. 10/10 highly recommend for beginners or experienced peoples.

I just left the shop after getting an 8 hour tattoo and I want to praise the owner George, some of the best work in the most professional tattoo environment Ive ever been a part of. From start to finish from the layout design working with me on what I wanted making sure it was correct giving me the proper pricing up front so I knew what I was getting into hands-down and absolute wonderful experience from George. Great service. Great artist. I initially went in to only discuss the design and get an idea of pricing but was impressed enough to have it done right then. This place is top notch. The work ran past closing but Cody Gibbs stayed over to finish it. He did an amazing job and I couldn’t be happier. My mom and I got tattoos for the first time ever at the Lexington location last week. Shop was so clean and organized everything looked spotless. Kristopher was great and so helpful when it came to ironing down the designs. He tattooed my mom and it came out beautiful, props to him for dealing with her, she was extremely nervous. I was tattooed by their apprentice Cody and for it being my first time it did make me a little more nervous. I was getting a little piece on my finger so I was already freaking out. Cody is amazing, I cannot say enough of how happy I am with my tattoo. I obsess over it everyday. Highly recommend this shop and for sure will be back for more in the future!!

Recently got two piercings done with my sister. Was welcomed on the spot! The shop never smelt so clean. The Piercer (Sheryl Crawford) talked very thoroughly about how everything was going to happen and also about after care. Definitely recommend to anyone that has never had a piercing or even ones that have.

Me and my best friend went and got piercings together. Everyone there was really nice and pretty chill. I appreciate the fact of how they took care of us, and gave us information about how to take care of our piercings. We will be back again for our next ones when these heal. Cody Gibbs is amazing! I won’t go anywhere else for a tattoo. The shop is 100% clean, and everyone is very friendly. By far the best tattoo shop in town. I don’t get how anyone could leave a review less than 5 stars! All I can say about that. Amazing job Cody!!!

I’ve been getting tattooed for a long time now and have never seen a shop as awesome as this. Great people, great artists and very friendly atmosphere. I brought my daughter to get her first one here and we’ll definitely be coming back for more.

I went in for a third lobe piercing. It took a little while to find the right placement as my second holes are aligned uniquely. They used white ink to mark the place which I appreciated against my darker skin. The first went well. The second (right) ear was nowhere close to being even with the opposite side and was sitting awkwardly I even asked other employees for their opinions as they were taking lunch orders... I ended up taking the right one out less than 24 hours afterwards. So I’m walking around with one new piercing and uneven. Also they use stainless steel butterfly back earrings.Reply to Owner:The piercer insisted that was the closest she could get it and it was completely off leaving space for a hole between my second and third lobe piercing. I have since had it redone at an APP shop and I’m very pleased to say it was placed correctly and was pierced using measurements of my ear.

I had 3 piercings done by Cristine today, they was about to leave when I got there due to their A/C going out but she stayed to do my piercings since I drove 2 hours to get there. Cristine is great!!!! She was very friendly & explained what she was doing before doing it, I felt very comfortable with her. I highly recommend going here to see Cristine if you need piercings done! I’ll definitely be back again!!!

HORRIBLE customer service! Was told to come on in that they were taking walk-ins. Waited 4 HOURS, just to be told in the RUDEST way I couldn’t get what I wanted because they closed in one hour. I was told I needed to choose something super simple because they would NOT be staying any later to do anything. Will definitely be taking my business elsewhere.Was NEVER ONCE talked to by a tattoo artist until the very end of the 4 hours. Also never refused an apt nor raised my voice at anyone. So you have the wrong customer 😇

I got my first tattoo today and everyone was amazing. George did a perfect job and they made me feel very comfortable about getting it before it began. They also made me aware of all things that may happen with a tattoo and gave me a card in order to call or text them with any questions I may have about my new tattoo. If I ever get another I will be going back!!

Kyra is beyond amazing! She has greatcolor, bold lines and a very gentle hand. She has done 2 of my piercings and 8 tattoos! I will forever and always be a client of hers! Do yourself a favor and go spend some time with her! You wont regret it!

Sheryl pierced my helix and switched out my conch ring and nose ring. I bled EVERYWHERE after my helix was pierced (even on myself) and started to black out - sorry Sheryl, lol. She was VERY professional and accommodating to my needs throughout while also super funny. She was also really knowledgeable about my jewelry and gave great suggestions and options for switching out my rings. If I lived in Lexington, I’d definitely go to her every time, but unfortunately I was in town just visiting. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Shane did my an Incredible job on my little dagger! He had a great bedside manner, and good eye for detail. My tattoo it’s on the small side but has a lot of detail that other artist may not have taken the time to put in. It’s obvious he does this because he’s passionate, and that shows his work.

Kristofer did my forearm tattoo about 2 months ago and it turned out awesome! I recently stopped in so he could check it out, and said it’s healing great and I could come in for a touchup in a few weeks if I’d like. The atmosphere of this place is really chill and everyone is super nice. I’m definitely going back in the future for more. Highly recommend this place.

Gary is amazing! I was a walk-in early on a Friday morning. I wanted to get an old tattoo touched up. He made it look beautiful! He was really gentle and super friendly. I will definitely be back to see him!

After looking around other shops in Lexington I stumbled into this one from previously seeing on my way to work. I was welcomely greeted by the staff and was encouraged to look at multiple artist portfolios. I felt in no way pressured to choose a specific artist or to even get a tattoo from this shop. After further discussion and looking at extensive portfolio pieces I had made my decision within a matter of moments. The artist that had done my tattoo was an apprentice who had not done a piece the size of mine (half sleeve) as of yet. I had no doubts about the tattoo after she had drawn it up. She is an amazing artist and was easy to work with through the sessions. I was there a total four times over a two month stretch and each time felt welcomed and treated outstandingly! I plan to get more work done in the future. 6 Stars in my opinion.

Decent place. Staff didn’t seem to enjoy conversing with the customers haha. They didn’t give any info on how to properly take care of a new tattoo which didn’t impress me. Good thing it wasn’t my first one so I knew what to do. Wouldn’t go back because the price wasn’t worth the work

My first ever tattoo was done here. You get a great vibe from the shop as soon as you walk in, even in the mist of this Covid nightmare. Krys was very cool and explained everything, took my idea of what I wanted and 6.5 hours later we were finished. I’m extremely happy with the work and the overall experience. Went in for a tattoo by Kris Woods and am astounded with the quality that I got. The shop is a little pricier than what Ive paid before but well worth the cost. These are professional artists selling artwork.Only issue Ive had is that my skin didnt take very well to one of the colors we used and I believe Ill need to go back in to get a touch-up on it but thats on me and not on their work.

I had mostly a good experience here. My daughter wanted her ears pierced for her 7th birthday. I called around a lot of places and this was the first place that could do it (she was anxious to get it done and TTGTC was able to schedule same day). Her piercer Mandy was awesome and sweet, very careful to make sure both sides were even and talk to her about what was going on for each step. She was patient and knowledgeable with my questions, too - making sure they used proper sterilization procedures, etc. There was no bleeding and is almost no redness or swelling the next day. I have no complaints at all about the piercing itself.Here are the things I wish were different and why I docked one star: 1. Jewelry. I was not thrilled with the jewelry choices. The free jewelry options were all very simple steel balls with butterfly backs. I was expecting a flat or locking back since these have to stay in so long. Even the options that cost extra were not that great. Ive seen better quality jewelry and more options at most other places. 2. Aftercare supplies. Namely, they were not included. Ive had a number of piercings myself and theyve always given some sort of wound wash or saline. They did have some I could have bought. 3. Notary. This is a tiny nit, but its pretty easy to become a notary. Since all minors must have a notarized form, it would be nice if the receptionist could notarize rather than me having to go to the UPS store. 4. Price. With tip I paid $100 for earlobe piercings that took about 10 minutes. I know that good piercing places must charge a lot, they have disposable implements and an autoclave, etc, and Ill pay for quality, but between the jewelry, having to go buy aftercare supplies, and having to pay a notary, it seems overpriced and was more than all but one of the other places I called. Soapbox time: Im a strong proponent of taking girls to professional piercing places that use needles, not piercing guns. I try to convince everyone I know. But when Claires and the mall pierce for free with the purchase of a pair of earrings, its a hard sell. A great step to making professional-ear-piercing-not-guns more popular would be to close the gap as much as possible. Anyway, the piercer herself is the important part and that was great, but imo 5 stars is for businesses that go the extra mile. Had they used better jewelry and thrown in aftercare, 5 stars even at that price. Had they charged less, expecting me to buy aftercare and bring my own jewelry if I wanted more than butterfly backs, 5 stars. The overall combination, however, left me feeling it could have been better.(Something to note for parents of young kids: the decor is somewhat macabre. The logo includes a coffin, there are taxidermied animals, tribal-type masks, and a variety of skulls (including human). This did not bother my daughter in the least, she was actually psyched about the human skull, but if you are bringing young kids who are frightened by things like that, might want to prep them.)

Kyra helped me fix a bad tattoo from tattoo Charlie’s and I couldn’t have asked for a better result or experience. Definitely recommend her, she’s great to work with and very talented. Getting another here soon! Will be returning to her, no doubt.

Any reservations I may have had about the safety of getting a tattoo here are now gone. They do a terrific job of Sterilizing and ensuring safety. Kris Woods was my artist and his color work, detail,, and shading are amazing!!

I love my tat. The artist was very laid back and took his time and interacted with me to ease the pain. I wanted to give him a tip cause he did a great job but ...... someone came in for a consult and he left in the middle of my tat to talk to her. That was a little unprofessional. Other then that though I will go back when I’m ready for my next one. Just don’t leave me hanging dude! Lol.

The owner could of told me at any point in the ten minutes of the entire shop making fun of me that they werent going to tattoo what I wanted because it was upside-down to the ground. Instead they let the artist put the stencil on me and when she came back after it was dry the owner said he wasnt going to let her do the tattoo bc it would make the shop look bad.

My artist was Gary and this was my first tattoo. He was very professional and was very reassuring once he started because I am not a fan of needles. Also helped me get over my fear too! 😊 I also love the fact he took the time to draw out the design which was butterflies and it looked amazing! I teared up after tHe tattoo was finished because he made more than a beautiful piece of art he help bring a apart of my grandmother back to me spiritually because she loved butterflies and I lost her last year.I’m already recommending a few people Ik to this tattoo parlor and my fiancé might get one in a year or two

Went today to get my right tragus pierced. Staff is extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. My cousin and I stopped in without appointments not knowing if we’d even be able to get tattoos. We were greeted by kristopher who had some time open due to another person’s session not working out. My cousin and I both have multiple tattoos but we both agreed that this one was the best experience. The experience was almost as great as the tattoo! Kristopher’s work is phenomenal. Not only is he a great artist but he was great to laugh and joke around with! We gave him a basic concept of a semicolon in negative space with watercolor around it and he just made it amazing. Everyone working in the shop were so personable. I don’t currently live in ky and was just in for a visit but I will definitely be returning for more tattoos here. If you’re looking for some badass color tattoos or watercolor, you will not be able to find better than kristopher and the parlor!

I randomly went in there to get a rook piercing removed from a piercing job done by another tattoo parlor (not in Lexington). First off the place was clean and I loved the vibe in there. Management was friendly and cared about you. I went in there because my ear was constantly inflamed from my rook. The tattoo/piercer was extremely knowledgable and helpful in the removal of it. My pain was caused by low quality jewelry. I will definitely go back for any future piercings or tattoos (already got one, contemplating another).On another note I was flipping through the tattoo artist books and holy crap, they do phenomenal work.

Kameron did an awesome job squeezing me and my friend in for a couple small tattoos. Her work is amazing and we are both very pleased at how our tattoos turned out. I also got a peircing while i was there. Both Kameron and Cristina where very easy going and after a bit we were all laughing and joking around with each other. Definetly gonna return.

Got a tattoo done by Kyra and she was nothing less that awesome. Got a tribute to my uncle and it was to be placed around a previous tattoo I had gotten and she worked through and got it placed perfectly. My expectations of kyra were high already but when she was done I was stunned! Love it!

Considering with COVID going on, everything was good but my artist, wasn’t the greatest. I go to different tattoo shops each time to find the perfect one! And sadly this is not my first choice. My tattoo was good looking but now it’s all healed, I can seek all of his mistakes in it and I was not pleased. I don’t recommend

Went in to get 4 letters on my finger and they told me they could only do 3. Didn’t make sense to me, if you’re a tattoo artist why can’t you do different fonts or more then 3 letters. Never in my life have I had an artist tell me they can’t tattoo a four letter name. I have a 9 letter word on my other finger that another artist didn’t create excuses for. It says BEAUtiful. They spent to much money decorating the shop and not into quality artist. Waste of time!

I thought it was cool at first staff was really nice, but then I went into the piercers room. I got a naval piercing it looked a little crooked but i just assumed it was me and i was over thinking. Then i start staring at it and she didn’t pierce the naval right at all she pierced above it.

Generally pleased with the experience, I got my nipples pierced on February 28th, they made sure to do everything in their power to make me feel comfortable, including asking the second piercer, whom was in the middle of a tattoo, if hed be willing to come pierce the left side for me at the same time, I loved it okay it was an amazingly painful experience, now though as the swelling has gone down and what not, the left side is pierced a bit deeper and one side of the left piercing is A LOT deeper, I still love them a lot, but its a noticeable difference now that theres no swelling, Im not terribly concerned but I figured Id let you guys as well as the shop know. I also understand that because I had them both done at the same time that they couldnt look at them to make sure they were even. Just this left ones really weird and the exit is deeper than the entrance..

Me: my friend that was supposed to get matching tattoos with us passed away so I want to get the one she was going to get.Gary Smith at Parlor Tattoo: thatll be $120. Your one you have was cheaper because it was done poorly. It is going to all bleed out.Keeps crapping allover my tattoo, when I just told him my friend just died.This tattoo is so freaking small. Barely half dollar sized. Its a $50-$80 tattoo. The one i already have took maybe 20 minutes to do. Its not a $120 tattoo. My tattoo I have looks great. Its terrible customer service to act like that with a potential client, especially a grieving one. Charge what you want but to tear someone apart for their new ink because theyre shocked by your pricing is just wrong.This is a tattoo shop Ill never frequent and definitely wont recommend.

Look no further, I ve been trying to get a tatto in this place for almost a year now, fort time they book me three months in advance, when the date came I texted the guy and he replied ( gotta re-schedule man i am on vacation) so the appointment meant sh… to him, three months after the date came and never got a reminder from him or his assistant, so it wasn’t that important since already charged me the 200, Third time I message him again and again on his Instagram account, days gone by and no reply despite the fact that I can see him online, and then his secretary is trying to schedule me for the upcoming months.. done with this place don’t waste your money and time.

I recently underwent chemotherapy & a stem cell transplant during the Day of the Dead in Mexico. So I knew I wanted a 1/2 sleeve that encompassed my experience & helped tell my story. So, I went to The Grave Tattoo to speak with George, the shop owner, whose work I’d seen on IG.I’d been to his shop 2xs before, each time tattooed by a talented apprentice, but I thought I should go with a seasoned tattoo artist this time around since I was getting a bigger piece.When I walked in, I told him about my struggles as a patient & also mentioned that I’d be moving to a different state soon. I told him getting a tattoo done by a KY tattoo artist would be my way of taking a piece of KY with me when I moved.We discussed what I wanted & when I asked him how much a sleeve would cost me he said he’d charge $1000 for 5 hours & mentioned that I’d have to leave a $200 deposit. While I thought the price he quoted me was extremely steep, I figured that maybe that’s how much a 1/2 sleeve costs. Later I realized he was charging me $200/hour, but with my move coming up, I didn’t have the time to look for a different artist.I went over my ideas w/ him & showed him pictures of what I wanted: a half lioness, half DotD face w/ a WHITE lily & the word courage written in Hindi. I initially wanted the tattoo on my left arm but because I have a small tattoo there, he suggested I tattoo my right arm instead. I reluctantly agreed. I then asked how much it would cost to add a flower and “freshen up” the small tattoo I already have & he said that, too, would cost $1000. I felt he was trying to rip me off, but I stupidly paid the $200 deposit & made an appointment.When I asked George if he could share his drawing with me once it’s ready, he said he doesn’t draw anything until the day before the appointment. When that day came, George showed me what he’d come up with & mentioned the DotD female still needed makeup & lines. I then asked for a small change to what hed sent, but he tried to make me feel guilty for even asking by saying, “I’ve already spent two hours drawing this...When I got to the shop for my appointment, he was still in the process of adding the makeup to the DotD face. Once he finished, he showed me his drawing again to make sure I liked it. I asked him what color the lioness’s eye and the lily would be (because in the pictures I’d shared with him previously, they both had color), & he flat out said that he doesn’t do ANY color; ONLY black and gray tattoos. I was confused because I’ve seen pictures of tattoos he’s done that clearly have color. I also didn’t understand why he never mentioned that, especially since the pictures I’d sent him included some color. I caved.BEFORE he started tattooing me, he asked for payment in full & offered me a sample size of aftercare ointment IF I left him a review on Google and showed him. I thought this was odd because well, how can you leave a review for someone BEFORE you see their work, but with George towering over me, I left one anyway.He began tattooing & at one point, I mentioned that I wasn’t liking how dark the tattoo was turning out. George, rather than listen to my concern, told me that’s what’s needed for contrast & that I need to trust him. I told him I did trust him, but I’m also paying him a lot of money & if something is going to be on my body for the rest of my life, I naturally want it done right.After sitting for 5+ hours, my body started rejecting the ink so he said he couldn’t continue & I’d have to come back for a second session. He mentioned that he wouldn’t charge me for the second session as if he was doing me a favor.I left the shop that night with a sick feeling, like I’d made the worst mistake by choosing this tattoo artist & this shop for what was supposed to be a special piece.I’ve decided not to return to his shop again so now, I get to live with this unfinished sleeve & this horrible memory*Reply 2/6: I have screenshots of our conversations. Wouldn’t recommend. Got a small, symbol tattooed on my forearm and they completely overdid it. Gonna take weeks to heal now and won’t end up looking like it should. Pretty much could’ve sliced my arm with a knife with how deep they went into my arm.

** sorry for the essay in advance **Honestly not a bad spot but i didnt get the tattoo I wanted because the artist didnt feel comfortable doing that style, he was also a bit too slow for my preference. I went with 4 other friends & my best friend & I got matching tattoos. Hers bled A lOT & they put a bandage sticker over it & told us to come back tomorrow to clean it & put a new one.Since there were so many of us, we ended up leaving without being charged. Human mistake I get it but the artist called us to come back in after we were almost home, which to me is an inconvenience but we made a turn & went back anyways.He gave us a courtesy bandaid sticker as a thank you for returning, cause lets be real, most people wouldnt &yet we returned the next day .When we asked him to clean the blood from the sticker bandaid, he asked us to provide the courtesy ones he gave us yesterday or else we had to pay 12$ for a new sticker. We were surprised. He said he could put one on now but we had to come back and return the courtesy ones. Wow.That bothered me. I feel like he shouldve handled it better and took care of us like we took care of him.Not only did we give him business with 5 people but a courtesy is a Courtesy, you dont ask for it back. We couldve been jerks and not gone back, causing him a lot of trouble, but we did and yet a simple sticker bandaid couldnt be covered :/ And for that I give 2 stars.

I went here about a week ago and had both Tragus piercing done. The staff was friendly and all yet after looking closer to my piercing after swelling went down I noticed I have two different size horse shoe rings in my ears. Right is bigger. Not happy....

Nice looking shop, the work turned out good, but $350 for a piece that took less than an hour and a half is ridiculous, Lawyers dont even charge that much.
