Somatic is incredible! My sister and I walked in to get pierced and Liz and Elise took such great care of us. They were so kind and patient with our questions about each magical piece of jewelry and made the piercing process really fun. If you want special, fine jewelry for any piercing— this IS THE PLACE.

I came in today needing a jewelry change because my septum ring was too tight (my fault) and digging into my skin. The front desk person was really sweet and helped me pick out new jewelry to better fit and the piercer with colorful dreads took out my tight septum ring and put the new one in with care. They all made an uncomfortable situation for me very comfortable. Thanks so much Somatic team.🫶🏾

Piercing prices are very reasonable especially for how well the service is done!Liz helped a lot with picking out jewelry and was very friendly.Elise was very soft and quick with my conch piercing. It was completely painless and my cartilage felt very thick too!

The prices are ridiculously expensive, the piercer that i saw is a white lady who exercises cultural appropriation with her terrible, terrible dreadlocks, and she also incorrectly guessed that the piercing i wanted wouldnt anatomically fit my face when i went to another shop, got it done beautifully & for wayyyy less! moral of the story is, dont shop here for an anti black, cultural appropriating, expensive, and ill-informed experience!

Sincerely adore this place!!! 10/10 experience! All staff were friendly, very welcoming, helpful and patient when assisting me with all of my questions and concerns. I got pierced by Liz and was helped out by Elliot. Liz did an exceptional and phenomenal job with my piercings. She was very professional and willing to be patient with me. They both were so patient and friendly made my experience so much more relaxing. I love my piercings and definitely will be returning once my others are healed!

Trying to order jewelry from here is a massive nightmare, they might have the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced… it’s taken almost a month just for me to get a reply by email on whether or not the custom I want is viable, AND they only respond to emails once or twice a week. They 100% need to hire another person to manage their customer service because it’s atrocious.It sucks to set aside money for large purchases just for it to fall through because they don’t want to take the time to keep their customers updated, as a small business owner I don’t think having a smaller team is a good enough excuse for this lack of communication at all.

Ive a few piercings over the years. This has been by far the best place Ive ever gotten a piercing done. Staff is super informative and Elise, who did my piercing was AMAZING! Barely felt a thing and by far the best piercer Ive have encountered

Came in w my sis and her fiancé and we all got pierced. We didn’t have an appointment so we got seen in between appointments (we were there for about 2 hours). They have a super cute shop next door full of art and fine jewelry. I would have bought everything if I explored any longer.Jewelry ranges quite bit depending on what you’re looking for. I went with two pieces from their own Somatic jewelry line and am super happy with them! Earlobes cost $45 for 2 lobes.Everyone who works here is friendly and my piercer made me feel comfy and confident. (I’m not the best w needles!) If I lived here this would be my go-to spot! Thank you for making today rock!!!

Had a really wonderful experience here! They accommodated walk-ins for the 3 of us (midday on a weekday), with minimal wait time. Pricing is comparable to any reputable shop, and the jewelry is of high quality. The two workers at the front helped us with choosing the right jewellery, payments and waivers- super helpful! Elise, the piercer, was very gentle & super kind!I would recommend Somatic to anyone who is looking for a reputable & clean piercing shop !!

I went in to get my nostril pierced and I was so nervous!! As soon as I walked in, I was greeting by smiles and good vibes. The whole process of picking out my jewelry, getting the piercing, and learning about the after-care was quick and easy. The whole staff was so kind and welcoming. I got pierced by Sara. She was very calm and made me feel extremely comfortable. This shop was definitely a long drive for me, but was totally worth it! I totally recommend to anyone who is nervous about getting a piercing, and is looking for a calm environment:)

Walked in during Beach Streets for two lobes and a helix piercing. It was the best piercing experience Ive had! The shop is so clean, the jewelry is such high quality, and the girls are all so lovely. Everything about the shop is high quality. Its definitely the worth price. I stumbled upon somatic body piercing in Long Beach then I accidentally lost in the back into my cartilage earring. They have such a selection of standard and basic as well as dainty and super cute jewelry. I recommend coming during ofttimes is possible to minimize you are wheat. The biggest hassle here is finding street parking. For awesome customer service, knowledge, and unique jewelry.

I was looking for a piercing specific and clean location and this place exceeded my expectations. I walked in without an appointment and only waited a few minutes. The staff were really friendly and informative. I had two piercings changed out with new jewelry and the process and selection was great!!

Went here with my partner and I had got my nose pierced while they got their ears pierced. Service was absolutely fabulous as they gave advice on the healing process and offered support if we had any questions or trouble during. They were also very helpful to recommend and explain the different jewelry and materials for what we were looking for. I was pierced by Elise who was super kind and reassuring though it had not been my first time getting pierced. Elise was also very courteous and understanding towards my partner who was getting pierced for the first time. Would definitely recommend this shop for anyone’s first time though the prices have the potential to be steep depending on what you’re looking for!

First of all their costumer service is amazing. other shops ive been to were super hostile, but the employees here are so caring and really take the time to hear you out and find whats best for you. shoutout to elise and liz, they made my experience really comfortable. i would recommend this place and come back again myself. they also provide a little aftercare kit + manual with the piercing service. they have a wide variety of jewelry options and elise helped me pick out exactly what i envisioned. thanks again to those two employees ILL BE BACK ❤️

Kind staff who were helpful in discussing the healing process and treatment post piercing job. Went in an hour before closing as a walk in just with general questions since it was my first piercing. Glad they were friendly and answered all my questions. Ended up getting both ears pierced that moment and they did a great job. They use the single use needles which is great. If youre lookig into piercings i would say give Somatic a shot or if you have any questions as well theyre helpful place to consult most piercings about.

The store is super super clean and organize. The woman behind the counter was extremely nice and helpful. She’s the same woman that ended up doing my piercing and I am super happy with it. The prices are pretty fair for the quality that you’re getting. This place doesn’t use piercing guns so it’s the same quality that you would get in a tattoo shop so I was super super happy with that. They don’t seem to do any type of fake jewelry so everything you’re purchasing is nice quality. The lady was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I do plan on going back some point soon to have another piercing done

I got my first piercing (septum) just a few days ago at this location. Id been hearing great things from tons of different people for a few years and they were right! I didnt have an appointment but they were happy to take me as a walk-in and didnt rush or anything of that sort. I was very nervous of course but Elise did an amazing job of communicating what was happening and overall just had a lovely and up-beat presence which made me feel much more comfortable. I would definitely recommend this shop, and specifically Elise, to anyone looking to get their first piercing. If I ever decide to get an additional piercing I will definitely be returning!

I made an appointment online for my first body piercing (nose) on my 43rd birthday. I wasnt sure what to expect other than I wanted a small stud. Everyone was so nice and walked me through the process from start to finish with an excellent variety of jewelry. Would recommend to anyone.

Very nice staff, didnt have to wait too long even though I didnt have an appointment. They didnt have everything I wanted, but she was made it easy if I wanted to place an order, which was nice, especially with the struggle to find quality pieces these days.

Super super knowledgeable, and will help you out regardless of where you got your piercing. I bought a beautiful piece of jewelry from them that was beyond my expectations (also super expensive but you definitely get what you pay for with body jewelry), and they also helped me out when my nose piercing got irritated and wouldn’t heal. I certainly recommend them! Just be warned you might want more piercings every time you go in because everything is so beautiful!

This place is amazing for all piercing needs and the jewelry selections are incredible. I went to replace my nose piercing but received such good welcoming that I will be back for other piercings needs and jewelry.

I came in yesterday to re-pierce my septum for the 3rd time. Both times before were done by different shops and completely wrong. I was hesitant at first thinking that maybe it just wasnt the right piercing for me, but after walking in and speaking with Shannon I instantly felt comfortable about re-piercing it. She was extremely sweet and did a great job ! I now actually love my septum piercing, and Im so glad I ended up here and not st some other shop getting my piercing done wrong for the third time. 😅I highly recommend this shop. They are professionals and know what theyre doing!AND their jewelry selection is beautiful!

They Completely dropped the ball on customer service. There is no information on their website about age requirements. They should ask more questions when someone calls about setting an appointment for their child. Instead they just told me to place the appointment online, which I am totally fine with. But we were turned away because my daughter is 15 not 16. Ive never heard of this! Especially since shes with her parents! We found another place right in long beach, actually the first place we called kindly asked me how old my daughter is, so we can be prepared to prove I am her parent. We went there and she was able to get her nose peircing. Somatic really put a preventable damper on my daughters birthday.

AFTERCARE WAS PRESENTED BEFORE THE PEIRCING THEREFORE YOU GET TO LEAVE AS SOON AS THE PIERCING IS OVER UNLESS YOU HAVE ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS. Ive been going here for my piercings for 10 years! Its always a clean, comfortable, professional experience. I trust this place over anyyyy others, hands down. Thats why I drive 30 mins to go there.I just got my industrial re-pierced, and I love it. They pierced my industrial the 1st time,...it healed great, and then 10 years later, I put some cheap internet jewelry in, and it gave me a nasty allergic reaction, so I took the piercing out. ....So today (2 yrs after that) I went in to get it repierced. They did it in the exact same spot. No pain. Im so happyyy! The Somatic team is awesome....especially Sarah with the dreads. I love the consistency here.👌

Such a clean and beautiful shop! VERY professional which I appreciate because Ive had bad experiences in other shops that also offer tattoos. With rude staff. This place is just a piercing and jewelry shop and it looks beautiful inside and out. And they staff is SO helpful.

A nice spot, piercer did a good job on my nose. Only issue is with their aftercare solution, as someone who’s been pierced a few times I feel like a sterile saline wound wash is pretty much the only way to go. Their salt soak thing is time consuming and not as effective as sterile saline in my opinion.

Love the women here!! They were very helpful and thorough in answering my questions regarding septum piercing. Im loving my septum!! I had to get an MRI and I did a walk in to get the metal septum switched out to glass for the mri procedure. I did a lot of research prior to getting my septum pierced, talked with people that had septum piercings and piercers and the vibe they have at Somatic resonated within me.

This place is the absolute best. So professional, amazing people. Ive never had a negative experience with any of my piercings here which I cant say for any other place I have been to.

Came here to get my ears repierced by Sara. She was super friendly and professional. She put in 12 gauge glass plugs. I didnt feel a thing. Great price as well! Definitely recommend going to Somatic!

Amazing! I originally went in to get an industrial bar. They told me that my ear was not shaped right for it instead of just doing it to make a quick buck. I ended up getting a double helix piercing. They were very kind and knew what they were doing. The fact that they want the best for their customers is what makes it my now favorite piercing place.

They are one of the nicest people ive met and they made me feel so comfortable about getting pierced. The one who pierced me was really honest and told me thier was nothing to worry about. She relaxed me and helped me through every step. My septum is amazing and it was painless.

I got my tragus pierced both for a little over 100$. They explain to me that the healing process takes about a year and cleaning them is very important. I kept up the cleaning I went back for more of their salt, they were very adamant to not touch them I asked them if they need to be tightened they said that isnot necessary just dont touch them. 8 months in one falls out I asked them how much it would be to repierce, they told me $60 but I have to wait for it to heal while waiting for it to heal the other one falls out. When I did call them and ask them about repiercing the one there was no care or concern, just about how much it was going be. This is a very intricate piercing that takes a very long time to heal which I knew going in and I was ready for the process so when Im doing all this work to keep it up and for them just to fall out is very very unfortunate...i noticed it all I had to do seems like had to be tightened. I think its unfortunate that they were not clear on the after care or lack of or maybe just didnt get them done right and Im out $100 but mostly the piercing. So think they are a little wet behind the ears of knowledge and care, concern for their customer. I even ask them if I can get a hoop and they told me I had a wait till it was healed Ive even called before they fell out and they said I still had to wait a little longer I think if I was given the hoop they wouldnt of fall out. I think if they at least offered to redo it free of charge I wouldnt be so upset but they dont ask me any questions or nothing just how much its going be to repierce it.

I have not received any good advice from this piercer shop they have cute jewelry but don’t give good advice when it comes to jewelry questions and helps with painful bumps behind the ears I recently just went in and was told that a device I had would not help the piercing at all and dismissed my pain after waiting five months for my piercing to heal it still hasn’t healed. Im very disappointed in this shop

Got my septum done last night by Sara. Started off with a retainer. I LOVE GETTING MY PIERCINGS DONE AT SOMATIC. The aura is super calming and it makes for a enjoyable experience every time I go in.

Self righteous and unwilling to accommodate an international citizen. I work aboard a cruise ship with an ID which is acceptable around the world since our passports get held for security purposes. Instead of accommodating the threatened to call the police and told me that they refuse to serve me. I had a photo of my government issued ID sent to me from Canada and they still worildnt accept it. They refused to disclose their insurance policy and would provide me with their insurance broker. Hateful and rude and not willing to work with their clientele
