Nina did an amazing job on me and my sisters tattoos. She was very professional and attentive. More importantly she was very personable and compassionate, as our tattoos were very symbolic. Also! I barely even felt the tattoo! I look forward to having her do more work for me.

This is a great female owned and operated tattoo and piercing shop in Bixby Knolls on Atlantic Ave. Nina started out doing art and it shows in her work. Her work really stands out and her pricing is very reasonable. I would recommend this place for both tattoos and piercings!

Daisy walked me through 5 new piercings today. She was very patient and did wonderfully on my preferred placements! A great experience overall, and she knows her stuff 👌

Nina had did my tattoo which i was very nervous about especially because i was traveling. she had made me feel very comfortable before and during my session. she was also very light handed there was very to little no pain, very great person, open to a lot of questions and a lot of creativity. very great artist and person!

Treated myself to new piercings for my birthday, and I’m so glad I went to 579! Daisey was my artist, and she was warm, friendly and reassuring. It’s nice when you can step into a shop and team is engaging. I had to go back to get my helix replaced ( I rolled over it in my sleep ) and she took care of it right away. Can’t wait to come back for more in the future.

THE BEST TATTOO STUDIO!!! My son discovered this tattoo studio a couple of months ago. He wanted 2 hand tattoos and chose this one because of the exceptional reviews. I tagged along to see how the process works. Nina was knowledgeable, friendly and did an EXCELLENT job! My son said that she has a very light touch and that it wasnt painful at all.Id always wanted to get a tattoo but was afraid it would hurt, so I never got one.My birthday is in May and I decided to treat myself to a couple of tattoos. I made an appointment. I was excited but still a little scared too. I was pleasantly surprised as Nina began her work. I can honestly say that it was not painful! We came to this shop because it had excellent reviews, and I wanted my nose pierced. I cannot even say enough positive things about this shop to do it justice. They were very kind, and, i believe her name is Daisy, that does piercings there is excellent. I have had many piercings in the past, ears, tongue, lip, nipples etc. and I have never had such a seamless piercing experience in my life. She knows where to place the piercing, she asks you if you are happy with placement, she is extremely informative about how the process is going to go, how to keep it clean, how long to leave it in etc. I barely felt a thing and it was over from sit down to finish within a few minutes. We will definitely be returning to this shop in the future. Thank you so much for being so professional, and making this an easy experience!

Went in for an eyebrow piercing a couple days ago and got pierced by daisy ! i explained to her that i have had it pierced before and the complications i had because of my previous piercer and she made sure to keep the scarring in mind and did a flawless job with my piercing ! i often come here (having gotten my navel, snakebites, angel bites, and even my industrial) and each and every visit has gone so so smoothly ! would always recommend this shop as the staff has always been so friendly and so accommodating with even better service! will always come back !

My experience was AMAZING!!! Me and my two friends all got walk in piercings for one of their birthdays and every piercing was quick sanitary and incredibly well done and we got them done as soon as we got in! Our piercer was so personable and friendly and FUNNY and gave us so much information to make us all as comfortable as possible, I was shocked by how good the prices were for such perfect piercings and we all left ecstatic! One of my friends didn’t have the anatomy for a septum piercing and as soon as it was noticed the piercer stopped piercing immediately and cleaned them up and told them exactly why they couldn’t get the piercing- it was such a great sign for all of us because some other piercers would’ve just kept going and done the piercing with the incorrect anatomy but not here! Total pro, definitely coming back!!! I was so nervous to try somewhere I had never been but listen- GO HERE!!! I also texted the number before my walk-in and the staff was incredibly kind over the phone and told me all I needed! 5 stars is an UNDERSTATEMENT!!!

Overall I gotta say I like this place and recommend. I have been a few times now and I feel like customer service is great, they are all inclusive, respectful, knowledgeable and welcoming. No complaints. If I felt some level of rudeness or disrespect or like I cant trust the piercer, I would not go back. But I can say this place has my vote of confidence. So far I have only gotten piercings done and bought jewelry. Wish they had more of a variety of septum styles to choose from but Im still gonna go back to their store regardless of that.

Amazing experience with Nina!! This was my second tattoo at 579 Tattoo Studio, and both experiences have been perfect. For this tattoo, I had a specific idea of what I wanted and Nina worked with me to make it happen. Even when I initially forgot about a very specific preference (a specific time on the clock). She has already applied the stencil before I realized the time was different than I wanted, and she took the time to change it by hand to make sure it indicated the right time, and triple checked for me before starting the tattoo. I am so happy with the end result. And Daisy was amazing with coordination about the work I wanted done, and scheduling a time for me that would work with my schedule and Nina’s. Couldn’t be happier!! Thank you both!

I dont typically write reviews but the piercer that did my snake bites. She put the percings first of all lop-sided where one was underneath my lip basically and then one was on my lip line. She then went to tell me bodies are not asymmetrical- which of course not but it was lop-sided! I asked for them to be even even if it was a little over or something.She also used to little of bars and she also put my left side on too tight to where the other shop I went too had to use a tool to get them out.I had to get them both removed and now need to wait for them to heal over to get them redone. 80 bucks down the drain basically. I will however say she did them fast and it didnt hurt too much and she was nice overall.

I first went to get my snakebites and Daisy was nice and made me feel comfortable. I went in to get my eyebrow piercing this time and it went great. Would definitely be coming again 🔥

Everything from start to finish was awesome. When I got there, I knew I was in the right place because they had an amazing playlist. The shop is very clean. Daisy helped me design both pieces of art. She was very patient and advised me on the best places to put it. Daisy was also the one who did both of my tattoos. She has a gift - you can tell she loves what she does. During my session, the owner, Nina, came over and talked with me. Super friendly as well. All three of us had a great conversation throughout my session. A fierce personable couple team who made me feel comfortable and relaxed during my new lifelong commitment. We discussed the piece and reviewed the placement because it was important that I could view it appropriately on my wrist. Sometimes these type of establishments can make you feel rushed, but not here at 579. Great communication before the appointment and they also followed up on how I was doing the next day. Great work, And I will definitely be returning to spruce up an old tattoo of mine.

I came here once & I did not like the receptionist because she can come off as rude & I came/spoke to her again & same attitude. Walked in for an urge for my ears to be pierced, not realizing it was Friday the 13th! Initially, i thought i was going to have to wait a while. But thankfully the very cute receptionist guy with a nose piercing attended me and my questions; directly introduced me to the piercer (Daisy).. Daisy asked me what my vision was, and went straight to work. Daisy was just an amazing soul. I loved her, although our interaction was short and just that. I got a navel piercing here a while ago and it rejected. Went to multiple piercers (i was in a different city) as it was rejecting and they told me that i didnt have the anatomy to accommadate a navel piercing (my navel is flat with no overhang). I was not told this as I was getting pierced and eventually had to get it removed before it popped out of my skin. I now have a dark vertical scar running the top of my belly button. The service and piercer was amazing but I feel like they pierced me regardless of my anatomy and greatly increased my chances of rejecting.

When I was searching for my next tattoo I came across this place checked out they’re IG and they were very helpful from the beginning and very informative. Had a great time with the artist. Helped me understand what colors are best for my skin. We took breaks in between the session and I could honestly say it’s one of my favorite pieces I have and I will definitely be coming back again.

I got an earlobe piercing a couple of weeks ago, and the lady with short purple hair seemed nice at first but kind of gave me an annoyed vibe. One of my piercings is slightly higher than the other, which Im not happy about, but regardless, her attitude was okay. Wish she was more welcoming, but it happens. I hate to be giving such a low review, but I want others to know what to expect. Ill probably add more piercings to get rid of the unevenness, but most likely, I will not be coming here again.

A weird situation happened with my nose ring and it was half closed and i couldn’t get the ring out. I called the shop and went in and Jay took out the ring super easy! I was nervous at first but it was painless! He was super nice and helpful. Def coming back to get some ear piercings and maybe even my first tattoo!

I came in to have an earring replaced for the one I lost the night before. I found this place the following morning and spoke with Jay, who suggested I come in since I didn’t know the size of my earring. Jay was kind, courteous and really friendly. He accommodated me the same morning I called and had the piece I needed. He inserted the new earring for me and waived the fee for the replacement piece. I would have happily paid for the piece but he insisted I didn’t need to since the piece was so small (it was a tiny ball for a closed cartilage earring). Clean studio, great service, and nice staff. Overall, a really great experience!! I would definitely come here again for any future services !! Thank you Jay!!

Me and daughter had an amazing experience me and My daughter went in to get her septum piercing but unfortunately, was not able to but Daisy 100% honest with us later on that same day we went back and got lip piercing and she made my daughter happy and safe and explained everything to her unfortunately the piercing fell out and we gave Daisy a call and she fixed it right away I will be going back to her again

Great place!!! Totally recommend it! As soon as you arrive you feel comfortable with Jay-Cee, he took the time to explain everything and man he was fast! Mind you Im pain tolerate but it was so easy and it didnt hurt at all!!! I will be back for sure, he was very knowledgeable and explained the difference in skin types, I went a bit bigger only because he was totally honest about the fading that might happen because the design lines were so small. I LOVE IT!

I got my first tattoo here and it was a great experience. I was very nervous going into it because I have a bit of social anxiety and of course was nervous about the pain but as soon as meeting Nina and having her help me design the tattoo the exact way I wanted, I was immediately comfortable and my nerves almost vanished haha. As far as the pain of the tattoo and my actual experience with getting the tattoo, it was perfect. She was extremely professional and knew what she was doing and you can immediately tell. My tattoo is currently healing very well and overall 10/10 experience, definitely coming here again :)

I did not like the service at all. lady with the short hair who pierced me didn’t even greet me or make me feel comfortable in any way. she seemed annoyed. i don’t know if that’s just how her personality is but it’s just unprofessional and comes off as rude.

Shop was very knowledgeable! I wanted my upper lobes pierced, but due to getting pierced with a gun when I was younger, the placement would have been off. Jay went with it and suggested some placements for the second and third lobes so it wouldnt look like a mess! Truly appreciate their business :)

I’ve worked with him twice now, and many more projects are coming. He and his wife are very kind and inviting. In the past, I’ve walked into a few studios where it’s almost intimidating to be there; felt like I was being judged, the artist didn’t want to be there, just cut/dry. 579 is the complete opposite of that— Jaycee and Nina are genuinely passionate about their craft and their studio just feels like a casual hangout of sorts, an extension of their home. Walked in for a few ear piercings. Jay was awesome. All of them were perfectly symmetrical and he corrected an old piercing I had so that all of my piercings were even. Shop is morbid vibey (which I like) and they play classic rock. Short wait. In and out. I’ll be back. Check them out v

On a whim I wanted to get my nipples pierced. I searched around and a lot of tattoo/piercing shops in my area are no longer offering piercing services. The places that still are piercing have extremely inflated pricing. Luckily I came across 579 and was able to book an appointment the same day. The process was quick and exactly as Jay explained prior to the piercing. After care was also explained in detail. Would definitely come back if I decide to get anything else pierced in the future!

I called right at opening she told me they would be busy until 12:30 but still wouldn’t be able to do my tattoo and they close at 7pm

This place can only be described as a boutique tattoo parlor, with only two artists and the private location, its a Bixby Knolls hidden gem.I was truly blown away by the care and attention given to me and my ink. Jay was so nice, he looked over the rest of my tattoos and inspected the spot where I wanted this new piece. He was really gentle and asked me questions about positioning and colors for the flower.He did the outline with an old school gun and explained that he wanted to make the lines really crisp so he was super precise. For the color he switched to a modern gun with a cartridge. I only know this becasue he literally talked me through the entire process, which made the experience even more appealing.Do you need water? Would you like a break? were also asked by Jay periodically, which gives you an idea as to the level of care and customer service provided.Jay did such a precise job on this tattoo that people have commented that it looks like a sticker. Its really that fantastically done.He disclosed that he has been doing tattooing for fifteen years and that shows in the work. But he also was really nice and I honestly felt like the genuinely cared about the work he was doing.His BEAUTIFUL wife Nina is the other artist, she was also incredibly gracious and talented (I watched her work on a huge leg piece while I was there).Please do yourself a favor and go check out this lovely spot, and these fantastic people.P.S. Im only allowed to give five stars but would like to give ten!

After many hours of searching theinternet looking for the perfecttattoo artist I came across Jay and Nina at 579 tattoo. Looking at Ninas work on their instagram, right off I thought her work was phenomenal! The realism and shadows she can produce with ink is truly one of a kind. I first had two smaller tattoos done by Nina which she executed perfectly. Then i came in for my first bigger piece And she made my vision come to life. This was my first major tattoo and Ninas gentle hand Made the session pleasurable with little to no pain. Nina is friendly, veryprofessional and truly a master ofher trade.
